Creating Place no.1

What does it mean to create place? I'm on a mission to find out. I'm talking about the place for one's self to just be one's self. Maybe that's a little heady. I'm talking about making space to be your self. Not anyone else's definition of you, not anyone else's expectation of you, just you. You're neruodivergent? A space to be neurodivergent. You're queer in a straight cis mans world? A space to be queer. You're quiet? A space to be quiet.

We all need space to be ourselves. If we don't have this space, we fall into a rude idea. An idea that is forced and not our own. Sometimes we have to, sometimes we have to conform to others standards, we have to act in ways to please others and stay safe ourselves. This is totally normal and ok. Conforming is not all bad, and in a lot of cases it's really helpful and 100% necessary to get by in a world that's not built for you.

But don't forget you need a place for you to be just you too. <3

The best advice i can give any creator is do it before you're good at it, do it BEFORE you're happy, do it while you suck, do it while you're doubting yourself and get stuck the fuck in, because waiting around to be "good enough" is a motherfucking trap of the highest degree. You'll get good along the way and better after every project is complete. Remember, this is the greatest thing you've ever created, and then you'll do something else. You're only ever gonna get better, but not if you stand still.

Obsessed with the idea of Mobei Jun going through most of his life thinking that he's the only one smart enough to pick up on Shang Qinghua's worth and try to court him, only to walk into a room one day (prior to his ascension) and see Luo Binghe's husband beating up his man in what is clearly a non-serious and recreational fashion.

Just how long has this been going on for? Is this why Qinghua has never formally accepted any of his proposals? How is he supposed to retaliate when Junshang will kill him on the spot for any perceived attack on his husband? The one guy he probably can't challenge to a duel, and he's clearly trying to seduce Mobei's man out from under him!

But what can he do? More violence? Sluttier outfits? Longer attempts at meaningful eye-contact? He was already pulling out all the stops, what does this stupid scholar have that he doesn't, huh?

Golden Age King Arthur accidentally gets sent back in time to the beginning of his reign. While making his way to Camelot hoping to find Merlin and figure out how to get back to his own time he runs into Agravaine making his own way to Camelot for the first time. Knowing he was a traitor working for Morgana in his own timeline, Arthur kills him and decides to take his place. No one had seen Agravaine since Ygraine's death, there were no portraits of him in the castle, and Arthur's premature greying hair has to be good for something other than Merlin calling him a silver fox. He can pass as his own uncle and be the caring advisor that young him deserved damn it!
