hope sending ask is ok rn, i have hard time looking resource. looking for book how to co-exist with independent dissociative parts (have system but not feel safe in saying DID yet). cannot do therapist addressing parts yet but want to cope in daily life. hope can help. or others comment/reblog and give. thank you 🍀
This ask was sent a while ago, I hope you're doing okay now anon. You say you can't talk to a therapist yet but I hope you have someone else in your life who is supportive and you can talk to about these things! You shouldn't have to face this alone.
Even though you don't have therapeutic support, it's still possible to build up communication and cooperation with your parts. I reblog a lot of tips and resources to my coping tag if you want to check that out. Here are some other resources that you might find helpful:
DID/OSDD Self-help Masterlist There are so many resources here, categorized by different topics. You'll find stuff here for both survivors and loved ones, and you don't need to have DID/OSDD to use them!
Beauty After Bruises Blog You'll find so many articles here on coping with daily life as a dissociative survivor. I love how they're written, they feel very approachable and almost calming to read.
Dissociative Living Admittedly, I haven't read many of these articles but the few I've seen have been good. I think their writing is very approachable for people who are new to all of this.
DIS-SOS Lots of advice and informative articles on living with DID here -- in both English and German! I've found some really interesting and unique coping tips here, I definitely recommend it. It's actually because of this blog that I discovered one of my favorite methods of system communication.
CTAD Clinic Youtube Channel A channel run by the director of this clinic which specializes in dissociation and trauma. I've watched probably all of his videos -- they're very good! Lots of the videos provide tools and self-help tips on coping with dissociation & dissociative parts!
Carolyn Spring's Blog You'll find amazing articles here about trauma and dissociation, but do be aware that the author is both a professional and a survivor with DID herself. She isn't afraid to talk about her lived experience, shining a light on the reality of trauma and dissociation which can be confronting but oh-so empowering to read.
System Speak Podcast A podcast run by a DID system. She talks about her own healing journey as well as interviews professionals and dives into the psychology behind trauma and dissociation. Personally, I think the website is a bit hard to navigate but every podcast I've listened to has been extremely informative and relatable!
Self-help books can also be extremely useful if you don't have access to a therapist. You can find a bunch of free downloads here! I would recommend starting with "Got Parts? An Insider's Guide to Managing Life Successfully with Dissociative Identity Disorder" by ATW. Personally, I think this is the best book to start with. It's a bit old and there are some outdated ideas in it, but I think it's a very gentle entry into learning system communication and coping with DID if you have never worked with a therapist.
Some other resources that might be useful:
Strategies for coping with distressing voices
FREE 100 page e-book for trauma survivors
Talk/vent to listeners on this non-crisis support chat line
Apply for a grant to receive financial help or a therapy box -> (Also learn about the Therapy Box Project! If anyone is able to donate, please do!)

The Social Security Administration will no longer be communicating with the media and the public through press releases and “dear colleague” letters, as it shifts its public communication exclusively to X, sources tell WIRED. The news comes amid major staffing cuts at the agency.
“We are no longer planning to issue press releases or those dear colleague letters to inform the media and public about programmatic and service changes, said SSA regional commissioner Linda Kerr-Davis in a meeting with managers earlier this week. “Instead, the agency will be using X to communicate to the press and the public … so this will become our communication mechanism.”
Previously, the agency used dear colleague letters to engage with advocacy groups and third-party organizations that help people access social security benefits. Recent letters covered everything from the agency’s new identity verification procedures to updates on the accuracy of SSA death records (“less than one-third of 1 percent are erroneously reported deaths that need to be corrected,” the agency wrote, in contrast to what Elon Musk claims).
The letters and press releases were also a crucial communications tool for SSA employees, who used them to stay up on agency news. Since SSA staff cannot sign up for social media on government computers without submitting a special security request, the change could have negative consequences on the ability for employees to do their jobs.
It could also impact people receiving social security benefits who rely on the letters for information about access benefits. “Do they really expect senior citizens will join this platform?” asked one current employee. “Most managers aren’t even on it. How isn’t this a conflict of interest?” Another staffer added: “This will ensure that the public does not get the information they need to stay up-to-date.”
Linda Kerr-Davis also did not immediately respond to a request for comment by WIRED.
“This reporting is misleading. The Social Security Administration is actively communicating with beneficiaries and stakeholders,” says Liz Huston, a White House spokesperson. "There has not been a reduction in workforce. Rather, to improve the delivery of services, staff are being reassigned from regional offices to front-line help – allocating finite resources where they are most needed. President Trump will continue to always protect Social Security.”
Elon Musk, who is leading the charge to radically reduce the size of the federal workforce on behalf of President Trump, bought X (then Twitter) in October 2022. The platform has for years battled the spread of misinformation. After he purchased the company, Musk fired contract content moderators and shifted content moderation efforts to a crowd-sourced fact-checking tool called Community Notes. In 2023, an EU official warned the platform was a major source of fake news, based on a commissioned study that reported “Twitter has the highest discoverability" of disinformation.
The regional office workforce will soon be cut by roughly 87 percent, sources tell WIRED. Regional office staff manage IT support, policy questions, labor relations issues, reasonable accommodations guidance, and public relations. Since February, the SSA has cut 7,000 jobs, according to The Washington Post.
Today, the agency has 547 employees working in the nearly dozen regional offices (previously, the number was closer to 700, but many people have retired, a current employee with knowledge of the staffing numbers says). After the cuts, the number is expected to be closer to 70. “We know that you all depend on these folks to manage your front line, to help with questions,” said Kerr-Davis, who works in the Kansas City regional office. “I'm going to be pretty candid here in sharing that the support will be pretty minimal until we can stand up our skinny regional office.”
Kerr-Davis acknowledged that the restructuring could limit the agency’s ability to combat fraud, a major goal of Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency. “Won't losing subject matter experts lead directly to fraud, waste, and abuse?” she asked on the call, reading a question from an SSA staffer. “And yes, I mean, we do rely on [their] help … Things are going to break, and they're going to break fast.”
On the call, Kerr-Davis sounded resigned as she relayed news of the changes. “I know this probably sounds very foreign to you. It did to me as well,” she said. “It’s not what we are used to, but we are in different times now.”

hi. since i have something that could very generously be called a platform, your local dumb horny dog is here with another unfortunate public service announcement for people currently living under the legal jurisdiction of the united states of america:
this would be a good time to start investigating privacy and data security tools (and, as ever, to not panic and/or doompost because those are not useful things to do). such things include:
using (more) secure messaging apps over sms for private correspondence such signal.
using (more) private email services rather than gmail such as protonmail
password protect your shit. this is just basic data security but like. please. password protect your shit. use strong passwords and/or passphrases. don't reuse passwords. use a password manager (i recommend bitwarden).
building off the previous one, encrypt your shit if you're able to. for pc users there are plenty of open source options, such as veracrypt, and probably native os stuff too.
like. y'all are gonna roll your eyes, and i get it, but: stop using windows and try out linux. seriously. windows 11 is a fucking privacy nightmare and it's only getting worse as microsoft pushes their ai shit which is planned to have access to everything you do on it.
tumblr can't do nested lists, consider this a sub-point: mint linux is designed to be incredibly familiar to people coming from windows and is very user friendly. a huge amount of windows software can run on linux using stuff like wine. the linux version of steam comes pre-packaged with it. it's fine. please try linux it won't bite.
sadly i am, as mentioned, a dog on the internet and i cannot provide an actual comprehensive guide to keeping your privacy intact and yourself safe.
however, there are plenty of good guides for this sort of thing on the internet and despite how degraded modern search engines are they are not hard to find. i heartily suggest doing so and familiarizing yourself with them-- and not just because of the times we live in, because a lot of this shit is the same shit that will help keep you safe from a lot of forms of identity theft and the like. it's just good opsec.

Tumblr media
this guide is specifically for my friend mel <3 but of course anyone is free to reference it x
𖡡 you've downloaded the game, played around a little bit, and now you're looking to add mods and custom content (cc) into your game
────୨ৎ────
this game is basically nothing without mod and cc creators, so all credit and love to them ♡
step 01: setting up your mods folder
open file explorer, go to documents, and find the folder labeled electronic arts. then click on the sims 4.
you'll see a folder labeled mods - pin it to quick access [this will make accessing it easier]
step 02: downloading mods and cc
you can find cc and mods so many ways!! tumblr, youtube, pinterest, instagram, etc. there are a lot of blogs on tumblr specifically for cc finds too
make sure you're downloading things from a reliable source. for example - a creator's patreon/tumblr or website, simfileshare.net [often linked as sfs], google docs, curseforge, itch.io, and *unanimously hated* thesimsresource.com → the sims resource is hated because of all of the fucking ads lmaooo
you'll be downloading package files and zip files. you'll find them in your downloads in file explorer
step 03: installing mods and cc
navigate to downloads in file explorer
package files can be simply dragged into the mods folder
zip files need to be extracted, then you can drag and drop the unzipped folder into your mods folder → whatever you put into your mods folder can only be one extra folder deep or it won't show up in your game
when it comes to mods [not cc], creators will often have instructions for you. follow those exactly
step 04: mods + game updates
sometimes mods break when there's a game update. it's just a very annoying part of the game at this point lol
some mods will have a pop-up in the game letting you know it needs to be updated. but if it doesn't and you notice something is fucked up, you can google 'broken mods' and usually someone else will be having the same problem and can let you know to update it
if a mod is broken, remove it from your mods folder and go download the new version from the creator → a lot of mod creators update very quickly [like the same day or within a couple days] but sometimes they don't. just be patient and check for updates periodically
recommended: the sims 4 mod manager // dl here → the mod manager will allow you to see and deactivate or remove mods and cc from your game [it's automatically connected to your mods folder and can be helpful when you can't find broken mods or cc]
gameplay mods i recommend
mccc by @deaderpoolmc // dl here ✧ gives a you a lot of control of your game
tool by @twistedmexi // dl here ✧ place and size things however you want
better build/buy by @twistedmexi // dl here ✧ gives you easier access to things in build/buy that you'd normally have to use cheats for
relationship and pregnancy overhaul by lumpinou // dl here ✧ more realistic gameplay [this one is essential!!]
lgbtqia+ by lumpinou // dl here ✧ gender identity, gender affirmation and transition, self-discovery, coming out, dating apps and lot traits [i love this mod so much!!]
healthcare redux by adeepindigo // dl here ✧ adds illness, injury, chronic conditions, allergies, medical emergencies, etc
childbirth mod by @pandasamacc // dl here ✧ good for family gameplay
snbills by @simrealist // dl here ✧ bank accounts
also want to mention milk thistle & sunblind by @softerhaze ✧ the lighting with these mods is *essential* pls check them out!!
create-a-sim [cas] mods i recommend
cas backgrounds // you can download mine here but i also love vyxated ✧ these are just extra fun!! you can find a lot on tumblr or youtube to download. it's a super easy drag and drop into your mods folder. but when you want to change it, make sure you remove the current one or it won't work!!
gentle cas lighting by northerin siberia winds // dl here ✧ replaces the ea lighting in cas with a softer glow and shadows
any cas lighting by helgatisha // dl here ✧ i like the colors they have!!
custom content [let's make your sims hot!!]
cc creators i love: @kumikya @dogsill @aladdin-the-simmer @arethabee @imvikai @jius-sims @northernsiberiawinds @oakiyo @its-adrienpastel @daylifesims @twisted-cat @madlensims @miikocc @obscurus-sims @evoxyr @powluna @pralinesims @simandy @sentate @simstrouble @christopher067 @aharris00finds @bluecravingcc @crypticsim @gorillax3-cc @gegesimmer @frzrbunny @greenllamas @lisatrait @joshseoh @liyahsim @thatonegreenleaf @trillyke @waterlily0210 @clumsyalienn @johnnysimmer @lamatisse
you can also check out my very organized cc finds blog: softergloom-finds ♡

anyways mel, i really enjoyed making this for you and i hope you enjoy the game!! <3

"It's possible to feel a bit lost or overwhelmed when faced with a lot of uncertainties about your identity. When you're in that place, what can you do to move things along in your brain, or to feel better about where you are?
Talk to close, trusted friends and family. You may want insights or opinions, or you might just need someone to listen while you talk about what you're feeling, but having someone on your side who you feel comfortable being open with can be a huge help. Having friends who've wrestled with similar questions about their gender, whether or not their gender identity is at all similar to yours, can be especially helpful or comforting.
Seek support online, if you have access to friendly online spaces. Places like tumblr have huge, sprawling communities of people having conversations about gender, and organizations like TSER offer chances to get involved in activism. Sites such as Genderqueer and Nonbinary Identities and Genderfork can be places to see and connect with people who have a wide range of gender identities and presentations.
Do some journaling about your feelings, both gender-related and otherwise. Give yourself some quiet time to reflect in as much of a low-stress way as you can manage. If you want some structure to your journaling, Kate Bornstein's My Gender Workbook might be a helpful tool.
Make a collage or scrapbook of idols, inspirations, and feelings around gender. Are there celebrities or friends who do gender in a way you find compelling? What sort of presentation do you find yourself drawn to?
Take a break! Make sure you're taking care of yourself, and if sorting through these feelings gets too tough or upsetting, it's ok to focus on something else for a while."

*deep breath* This, folks, is EXACTLY why I am writing The Everyday Naturalist. Because it's not enough to have an app. You HAVE to know how to use multiple identification tools and have keen observational skills if you are going to safely forage or otherwise identify things in nature.
Here's the deal. Apps are a tool. They are not infallible, and they should never, ever, EVER be your only tool for identifying mushrooms and other organisms. This goes even moreso for when you're trying to determine whether something is edible or not. I go into more detail about why apps should never be used by themselves in this article that I wrote a few months back, but let's explore a bit more about how an app works.
Any identification app has access to a particular database of pictures and other information for various species. In the case of my favorite app, iNaturalist, it draws from the over 156 million (and growing) observations of animals, plants, fungi, and other living beings that have been uploaded to it over the years.
When you upload a photo to an app, your phone usually inputs the date, time, and GPS location automatically, though these can be updated manually if need be. Then the app's algorithms sift through the database looking for species that are found in the same location at the same time of year, and which have similar photos.
Notice that I said SIMILAR, not identical. Many organisms, to include many fungi, have varying appearances based on subspecies, life stage, and other factors. And there are a lot of species that have close lookalikes, whether we're talking birds, wildflowers, mushrooms, etc.
So the algorithms then use their search results to give you their suggestion(s) of what most closely resembles the organism you are trying to identify. Some give you one answer; others, like iNaturalist, offer you a list to choose from, and may also qualify their response with "We're not sure, but these were found nearby" or something similar. The first one on the list is NOT always going to be the correct answer. However, the app doesn't have reasoning skills, and all it can do is play match-up and then produce suggestions based on that. (Yes, other iNaturalist users can come along and comment on your observations once you've uploaded and saved them, but you always want to carefully assess their claims, too.)
There are several toxic mushrooms that are implicated in poisonings on a regular basis; among them are what I call the "deadly Amanitas": the death cap (Amanita phalloides) and the destroying angels (A. bisporigera, A. ocreata, and A. verna.) In addition to these species' respective native ranges in Europe and North America, some have managed to make their way to other parts of the world. This includes in Australia, where there is a current investigation underway over a woman who fed several family members deadly Amanitas, three of whom have died.
These poisonous mushrooms have several edible lookalikes. As one example, while matsutakes (Tricholoma matsutake) are often brown, they may sometimes appear white, especially if the brown layer has peeled off. And field mushrooms (Agaricus spp, especially A. bisporus and A. campestris) are also large white mushrooms, though their gills and spores tend to be brown rather than the white of Amanita species.
Still, someone taking a picture of a large white mushroom--especially if they neglect to take another picture of the gills (the more pictures you take, the better)--could easily end up with an app telling them an Amanita is an Agaricus. Or they might read that some people think it's safe to eat Amanita muscaria if you parboil it long enough, and assume that other Amanita species are the same way (one of MANY reasons I do not advocate for treating A. muscaria as an edible.)
So--again--DO NOT USE APPS AS YOUR ONLY ID TOOL. Use them in conjunction with multiple field guides, websites, other foragers, etc. Practice using these tools and developing a critical eye before you go out foraging. Be super cautious, and when in doubt, throw it out.
And my inbox is ALWAYS open, as is my email (rebeccathenaturalist(at)gmail(dot)com.) You can ALWAYS email me with questions about field guides, apps, and other resources, and I am also happy to look at pictures of mushrooms (and other living beings) you're trying to identify, whether edible or not. You might need to give me a few days to reply, but I will get back to you. Don't use ME as your only source, either; I'm just one person. But I can point you to online groups that are also good resources.

⭐ How The Next 20 Years Will Affect You Based On Your Outer Planets (1984-2007)
Tumblr media
Previous Post: Pluto in Aqua Survival Guide For Millennials & Gen Z (+a bit of alpha)
Notes: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto can represent conditioned sociopolitical attitudes which inform (or inhibit) the native or that they form on their own/challenge during transits. They can also denote new social influence and leverage (or tools to aid in inhibiting oneself). They create catalysts for shifts in social identity and mindset.
If the system benefits from us underestimating ourselves, we must invest in shameless self belief.
• Pluto in Scorpio Generation (1984-1996) • — Team A — Saturn in Scorpio / Uranus-Neptune in Sag-Cap / 1984-1985: Making your ideas more accessible, learning how to talk to people, and being more tapped in won’t compromise your integrity—Your need for discretion/privacy will be an asset but think bigger and scale up. A Uranus-Neptune-Pluto sextile presents sudden blessings and opportunities if you’re planning ten steps ahead and grounding your ideas in what’s going to be used everyday decades from now opposed to what’s simply useful but is easily discarded/forgotten. Also, you can be shrewd and popular at the same time. Also, with all of the air supporting the world at large, reaching out to people and forming communities and tribes to last won’t kill you if you’re discerning, I promise. Saturn in Sagittarius / Uranus-Neptune in Sag-Cap / 1986-1988: In a new era where authenticity is king, Sagittarius’ devotion to truth-at-any-cost will help you because you’ll attract an audience and opportunities because the lifestyle you live and perspective you bring is going to make people question if what they consume, partake in, or sell is transparent and honest. Pay attention to the details during Uranus in Gemini to avoid looking foolish because that Aries Neptune trine will amplify and broaden your reach but may obscure the ‘truth’ you seek. Embrace all the blessings but be careful as well. But honestly? Nothing can touch you if you can withstand fickle changes in public opinion because unlike you, they’re afraid of what they’ll find with the truth. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
— Team B — Saturn in Capricorn / Uranus-Neptune in Cap / 1988-1991: You’ve been planning for a future that’s drastically changed—good! Instead of fretting, let Neptune in Aries help you pivot to find your new sense of purpose (you’ll struggle and cry for a bit, I know) so the Pluto in Aqua sextile to whatever house you have after Capricorn can push you to find new goals and aspirations that’ll require your corporate-tier level self-management talents. As long as you quell your anxiety about things being ‘new,’ you’ll avoid being in the big lost group of people who’ll feel disillusioned because following what’s always worked will become obsolete. It’s also good (and healthy) to start accepting any suppressed hobbies or interests you’ve always had because you’ll find a loving community for them now. Go forth and prosper. Saturn in Aquarius / Uranus-Neptune in Cap / 1991-1993: Contrary to what you’ve probably been told—It’s more than OK to do things your own way. You’ve been waiting for it, mostly by surviving, and all three of the major upcoming outer transits are going to help you reclaim that individuality you’ve always had but might’ve been intimidated by outside forces (or yourself!) to suppress. But you’ll be supported by the Uranus-Neptune sextile in Gemini and Aries because it’ll force you to stand on business about where in life you’re willing to venture out on your own into and how defiantly you’re going to prove that anything is possible if you say it is—but the Neptune square to your outers warns that you must stay consistent in that belief or you’ll be fighting ghosts of old paradigms which no longer exist. Are they with us in the room right now? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  • Pluto in Sagittarius Generation (1995-2008) • — Team C — Saturn in Pisces / Uranus-Neptune in Cap-Aqua / 1993-1996: You don’t need to sacrifice your well-being for others anymore and it’s safe for you to channel that into something that serves you. You’re in the hot zone of those benefiting the most from Pluto aspecting their outers and it’ll be easier for you to transition to a lifestyle, job market, or even belief system that feels more holistic instead of oppressive. But–and there is a but– I advise you to work on regulating your nervous system (google it) to prevent yourself from catastrophizing when things become uncertain or you just expect the worst to happen because you’ve always lived on the razor’s edge of anxiety. For you, something either has to go right completely or it’s the worst thing ever and with Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries coming up, you keeping your head when the rest of the world doesn’t will be your biggest asset. Saturn in Aries / Uranus-Neptune in Cap-Aqua / 1996-1998: Time still isn’t running out, my loves, and it was never a real concept to begin with. But you’re going to kick off this new period with this renewed sense of action and vigor which’ll be heavily supported by the outer transits. You’re going to be in the group of doers who’ll create cultural eclipses and zeitgeists around your ideas and strategies moving forward. Big steppers and movers and shakers for real.
As much as I love this, I encourage you to plant seeds and plan for what’s ten and twenty steps ahead of you while things go well to help ground you and feel secure because over stimuli from everything going well or taking so much inspired action can also lead to burn out and over-hustling because you’re scared that slowing down means needing to fight to survive again (from Pluto in Cap previously squaring your Saturn). Be bold and flourish because no one will successfully be able to stop you—but at some point, you’ll need to slow down, take everything in, and decompress (as you continue to move of course) otherwise that hamster wheel feeling you hate will never stop.
Saturn in Taurus / Uranus-Neptune in Aqua / 1998-2000: Unbeknownst to you—the current conjunction Uranus is making to your Saturn has been helping you transition into this new cycle. Because you’re slow and careful to ease into a new rhythm of being, being demanded that you simply ‘find your way’ in the chaos just isn’t your speed. What’ll serve you better is finding a small area of life outside of the storm to find beauty or comfort in and focus on what’s easier to perceive you can control.
Dramatic life changes occur when small, seemingly miniscule adjustments happen everyday. In the past, it was easier for you to follow who was in front of you with future planning because that made the most sense. But it left you alienated and disillusioned when circumstances made the map hard to follow, especially since your group experienced your 20s Saturn square to your natal Saturn at the start of the pandemic. Therefore, your game plans were ruined or put on indefinite hold. Pluto in Aqua will amplify this—But your strength will be in what you perceive to be a weakness—Mapping a steady course to joy is how you flourish day by day. And that can be achieved by tuning the rest of the world out and inventing your new tried and true. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
— Team D — Saturn in Gemini / Uranus-Neptune in Aqua-Pisces / 2000-2003: You often find security in consensus—If it works for this person, that person, and the other and if you’ve got the right data, it makes sense. During Pluto in Cap, many of you were burnt out and depressed because from the inconjunction to your Saturn, you were expected to conform to an environment your thoughts and ideas weren’t encouraged in. You may even have been called ‘mouthy’ or obstinate. Neptune and Saturn in Pisces stimulating it are currently making you question the line between reason and belief.
Your group’s unique issue is that with all of the air in your generation, all of your natural mental stimuli being added to with Pluto in Aqua and Uranus in Gemini will help you take risks where others won’t because you’re simply more adaptable because you’ve had to be. With Neptune in Aries occupying your 5th soon and with everything combined, there’s a danger of being so tapped in or even feeling so spread out and ungrounded that nothing is satisfying. It’ll be good to check in with yourself every so often to ensure you still feel connected to what’s real and important to you. Saturn in Cancer / Uranus-Neptune in Aqua-Pisces / 2003-2005: Contrary to popular belief from the media, your family and peers, etc, you’re going to do just fine and will actually benefit from all of the cerebral–rugrat energy shifts in the air pushing you to trust that you can live well even if you’re worried and anxious. There’s a comfort in the anxiety and doomerism you may be used to because your earliest memories are scarcity based.
It leads to this shell-shock sort of a feeling of shutting down and tapping out and surviving on auto-pilot and I want to encourage you to lean into your hyper awareness of yourself and start thinking of yourself as someone who can adjust and make every day work for them because your connectedness to your body will be an unexpected gift while the world over stimulates itself and seeks external validation opposed to internal wisdom and self-nurturing. If you can learn to see your deep emotional reservoir as a resource to have compassion for yourself and take inspired action which will benefit you and others when times feel uncertain, you can avoid feeling adrift or lost in this new environment.
Saturn in Leo / Uranus-Neptune in Aqua-Pisces / 2005-2007: Many of you were raised into environments where you were told that you needed to keep your head down and mind what you were told to survive and that you had ‘lofty’ dreams or ideas. You were born with an insatiable drive for success in an austere world and you always felt that you wanted ‘too much’ compared to others while you suffered with a sense of unworthiness. Pluto in Capricorn transiting to Aqua gives you an opportunity to overcome this
—But it requires that you trust your own power 150% and ignore what the environment or what any naysayers tell you. Things don’t have to look bleak if that isn’t the world you want to live in. With your Saturn opposing Pluto for two decades, you have an incredibly rare opportunity to grow at an incomprehensible rate because unlike many others, it’s going to burn in your bones to ‘become’ something. Something big. Something powerful. Your dreams are in your hands—Especially with Neptune and Uranus giving you deep soul urges to blossom. But your self worth needs work and you’re going to have to be the change you seek. Don’t wait for the world to give you anything. Take it, grip it, BE it.

coming from experience- let me just say that lowering. hear me out. the amnesiac barriers doesn’t necessarily mean ‘becoming the same person’. baseline is: you ARE the same person. with different identities, opinions, emotions, beliefs, abilities, behaviors, etc. you ARE hajime, and likewise hajime is you. but dissociation prevents you to from coalescing into a singular identity. though you may feel that spiritually you are 2+ people, which is real and true; but spirituality is completely separate from the psychology and trauma theories
many systems that go to therapy chose not to fuse, and others might be intentionally seeking it out. but therapy does not mean that you’re becoming the same person. you already are. however therapy and dissociation work shouldn’t force you to fuse into a singular identity or to somehow spiritually become one person. you and hajime would decide if you want to become the same identity in the end of your treatment.
lowering dissociative amnesiac barriers also doesn’t mean that you lose parts of your identity and your personal traits. sure you can and may likely change, but i doubt that if you did you’d be exactly like hajime.
removing the dissociative barriers is actually giving you more freedom and control over your life as a system. more tools, more options.
say if you did, hajime wouldn’t become exactly like you. but he would be manage to be more realistic like you when he really does need to. he’d also be able to use your logic and repress emotional responses, and ideally he’d be able to do it at any point with your acknowledgment. And for you, you wouldn’t be overwhelmed with emotion. you still might barely feel anything at all, but you COULD if you wanted to. you’d have access to those feelings because of hajime. and hajime would be able to properly communicate his strong feelings with you without having blackouts and breakdowns and stuff.
does that make sense?
TLDR; therapy good 👍
As I said, I prefer the barriers. Unfortunately, you wasted time typing this all out.

Undertale, Monster beauty standards:
Beauty standards are always an important thing to consider within a culture. They say a lot about a lot more things than people realise.
Beauty standards are a pretty common component of every culture. A good indication of basic gender norms and values within a culture. So what could the beauty standards be for a gender non-conforming society?
Monsters aren’t restrained to just two (technically three) biological sexes like humans are. Every single Monster is born with the ability to impregnate and carry a successful pregnancy. Some Monster subspecies don’t even need another partner to reproduce! Asexual reproduction is not uncommon or strange within the Underground.
Monster society also doesn’t share a single standard look. Most human groups, you can imagine in your mind a basic ‘type’ from that group. E.g. you can easily imagine what a general Chinese person looks like.
Monsters are far to diverse and unique from one another for that too be a useful tool.
So aside from some more cultural specific standards for the different subspecies (which I will talk about later) Monsters the vast majority of the time rely on SOULS to project their attractiveness.
SOULS: make up the combination of ones being. It is you, it’s everything you are, you hope to be and that you will be.
To Monsters, a bright SOUL. One that is expressive, strong and powerful is a beautiful one.
Many Monsters find human SOULS to have a sort of alien beauty within them. The rainbow of colours all within a humans identity to project. Despite the many differences between the two species, much poetry has been written about the strength and beauty of human SOULS.
Of course, since Monsters SOULS themselves are stark white many take to dressing their physical form. Adorning it with fashionable clothes, keepsakes or powerful enchantments.
Dressing fashionable is like a Monster way of saying, “hey! Im beautiful! My forms beautiful! Come here and look (or be intimidated) by my masterful fashion skills!!”
Taking personal care of themselves is another indicator of beauty. Washing and brushing fur, removing dirt from between bones, horn care. Hygiene remains a focal point in their culture. Luckily, despite Monster society’s many diversities, they were all still able to access proper hygiene tools.
To not take care of oneself indicates a much larger problem. Depression is an especially deadly illness for Monsters. Many of the first signs of which develop through symptoms like avoiding taking care of oneself and managing their appearance. If you see a Monster struggling with these, maybe reach out? They are usually more open to their feelings than humans are.
Scars and injuries are viewed somewhat strangely by Monsters. Unlike many humans, Monsters tend to find scars to be intimidating or dangerous. The scarred individual dangerous or intimidating. Some scars are tolerated, if small and otherwise un obstructive to a Monsters form. Vice versa with injuries.
Monsters that suffer horrific, permanent damage are often considered unattractive or dangerous to be around. This doesn’t help the mental anguish the Monster is likely already under. Monsters like this can often find themselves self isolating or being ostracised from Monster society.
A struggle for those too monstrous for Monsters and too Monster for humans.
Monsters that have obvious diseases or defects are also considered unattractive. Dimming, an uncommon birth defect, is commonly considered to be an ugly trait to have. Again, anything that could indicate that a Monster may not be healthy or happy is considered to be an ugly trait.
Overall, despite all things said. Many Monsters find the personality and behaviour of someone to be the most attractive part of a person. The way another human or Monster acts or treats others is a very important part of this physical attraction. This of course is going to look different from Monster to Monster. Each Monster having their ideal partner’s personality and behaviour in their mind.
It’s hard to standardise such a personal thing. But if you want to impress your Monster crush, maybe dress up a little, put that extra couple minutes into grooming yourself
(Or just flash them your soul. If you really want to get their attention😉)

Full service web design encompasses a comprehensive approach, ensuring every aspect of your site is tailored to meet your unique needs. From the initial concept to the final launch, this service provides an array of offerings, including website service, responsive web design, and custom design services. Whether you’re a startup seeking to establish your brand or an established enterprise aiming to enhance your online presence, understanding the elements of full service web design is essential.
Full service web design
Full service web design encompasses all aspects of creating a website, from initial conceptualization to ongoing maintenance. This approach ensures that every detail is carefully considered to meet the specific needs of a business or individual. With a team of experienced designers and developers, full service web design offers a seamless experience that integrates aesthetics, functionality, and user experience.
One of the key advantages of opting for a full service web design is the cohesion of the website elements. Since all parts of the project are managed by a single team, there is less chance for miscommunication or inconsistency in design. This results in a more polished final product that reflects the brand’s identity while providing an engaging experience for visitors.
Additionally, full service web design allows for customized solutions tailored to unique requirements. Whether you need an e-commerce platform, a portfolio site, or a blog, a full service provider will offer dedicated support and expert advice throughout the entire process, ensuring your vision comes to life exactly as you imagined.
Website service
In today's digital landscape, website service is essential for businesses to thrive and maintain an online presence. A well-structured website serves as a powerful tool that encourages customer engagement and drives sales. By investing in a comprehensive website service, businesses can ensure that their website not only looks great but also functions seamlessly across all devices.
A key aspect of website service is the ability to optimize for search engines. By implementing SEO best practices, businesses can enhance their visibility and attract more organic traffic. This is where a reliable website service provider plays a crucial role, as they possess the expertise and techniques necessary to elevate your search engine rankings.
Furthermore, ongoing support and maintenance are vital components of a reliable website service. As technology evolves and user needs change, having a team that can promptly address issues or updates will keep your website relevant and effective in reaching target audiences. This ongoing relationship is instrumental in achieving long-term success in the digital realm.
Responsive web design
Responsive web design is an essential aspect of modern web development that ensures a seamless user experience across a variety of devices. With the increasing use of smartphones and tablets, having a website that adapts to different screen sizes is not just a luxury but a necessity.
The core principle of responsive web design is fluidity. This means that the layout of your website adjusts dynamically based on the screen width, ensuring that content remains accessible and visually appealing regardless of the device used. This approach improves usability and can significantly boost conversion rates.
Incorporating responsive web design techniques involves using flexible grids, images, and CSS media queries. These elements work together to create a layout that responds gracefully to changes in screen size, making your website not only functional but also competitive in the digital marketplace.
Custom design services
In today's digital landscape, custom design services have emerged as a vital component of creating a strong online presence. Businesses understand that a one-size-fits-all approach does not cater to their unique needs and branding. Therefore, opting for custom design services allows them to differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
These services offer tailored solutions that resonate with a company's specifics, from colors to typography and layout. By leveraging custom design services, businesses can ensure that their websites not only reflect their brand identity but also provide an intuitive user experience. This is crucial for keeping visitors engaged and encouraging them to take the desired actions.
Investing in custom design services ultimately contributes to better customer satisfaction and improved conversion rates. With a website designed specifically for their target audience, businesses can more effectively communicate their message and achieve their goals. This bespoke approach is invaluable in today's competitive environment.

Just a headcanon, but if Yuji and Takako were distant relatives this is what I imagine.
They were already getting along before finding out they were related. They understood each other after one conversation. For Takako, it was nice that for once she had someone who listened to her after a very, very long time not having someone. Yuji was sympathetic, getting how it feels to not feel like you have an identity of your own... just a tool for someone else to later get rid of.
With Takako and Yuji getting along, Choso and Takako also would get along. They get how it feels to be out of place after being in limbo of sorts for many, many years. Also, both care a lot about Yuji and the feeling is mutual.
Yuji and Takako would have some interesting conversations. Takako would tell Yuji all about what she can remember of her life before her death and Yuji would talk to her about how society is now and even show her his favorite movies. Constant movie nights.
With Takako being around, it means run-ins with Yuta. She makes her mission to be a nuisance to him. When she found out about Gojo's existence and being related to Yuta, he became no expectation. For once, there was someone who bothers him.
When meeting the others, Takako actually brushed off seeing a talking panda. "I've seen stranger."
The subject of whether or not they were related was brought up by Miwa during a visit between Kyoto and Tokyo. She mentioned how her hair is naturally blue and Yuji told her about his hair being naturally pink and Takako the same. It lead to her stating they could be related since they both have pink hair.
Of course, it was argued it could have just been a coincidence. But Yuji and Takako were both delighted by the idea.
It took a very, very long time to track down any family history about the Itadori bloodline that they can, but they managed and after some research and tests it turns out there may be a possibility.
Like, Yuji, Takako is also indecisive about clothing. "I don't wear any when I'm using my technique!! Who cares about how clothes should look on someone anyways!!" Nobara never thought she had to school two Itadori's on clothing. Even Gojo was taken back. Takako loves jewelry though. And like Yuji with hoodies, she opts for tank tops.
She has quite the appetite and doesn't have a least favorite food. In the kitchen, she's quite lethal with a knife.
A couple of times, they got into it over snacks just how siblings do.
Anything sports related, the others have to make sure they're not on the same team. They're too powerful!
It was Gojo and Yuta who learned this the hard way when one day they decided to have a volleyball game without any cursed energy and techniques involved. Imagine how that went.
Turns out, Takako likes to dance and is really good at it. Yuji was quick to show her all the variety of music of today and how to access it. Takako will a cell phone means her constantly sending music and dance video links to Yuji in excitement.
