everyday i face the question as to whether or not i should make my own inumaki smau

So I know in canon Dick is a detective but I feel like he could’ve gone into the medical field.

He is a very caring person and he likes to help people, I like to think that during the day he helps people by treating their illnesses and injuries, and at night by keeping them safe.

This could go a few ways. On the one hand I could see him being an EMT, seeing as he does well in high stress faced paced situations. Helping people in emergencies and bringing them to the hospital is definitely something I could see him doing.

On the other hand I could also see him in nursing. He seems like he would have a good bedside manner, and I think he would be very gentle with how he goes about his job. Specifically, I think he would be a pediatric nurse.

I think he would be really good with the kids, cheering them up, easing their fears. There’s always lollipops and stickers in his scrub pockets for brave kids (and sad coworkers.)

He probably wears Nightwing scrubs a lot. It’s Nightwing, Teen Titans, Batman and Robin or Superman.

I think I need to get off Tumblr some.

Not disappear or an hiatus, exactly, but I think I'm slightly unnaturally obsessed. I never though I'd say that about social media.

I feel the need to check Tumblr all the time, even at work or on movie nights with the family, or at 2am when I get up to go to the bathroom.

I'm afraid I'll miss something that I would really like and open all these tabs on my phone to go back to things if I don't have time to get to them all.

Also, I'm a bit ashamed to say I've been looking at my notes a little too much. I get excited when there's a lot of activity and something I post is going over well.

And I do this thing (with real life, too) where I get overwhelmed thinking about the things I should be doing, so then I literally do none of it and am unproductive the whole day.

I want to read, I want to interact, I want to write, I want to organize my dash. There's tag games and inbox notes and I want everyone to know I see them and want them and want to get to them. I feel bad for taking a while to get to them.

But I can't decide which of all of those things to do first so I have a chat with myself as to how best to go about it and don't ever come to an answer and by the time I know it, it's dinner time and the day is gone.

Since I do not know how to fix that still, I think it would be best for me to just get off here once in a while. As I write this I feel I'm not going to do it properly like I should. Tomorrow my dash could very well be filled with stuff. I wouldn't be surprised with myself.

I guess what I'm saying is if you don't hear from me for a day or two, it's all good! I'm not ignoring anyone, I want nothing more then to be here with you all, I'm just trying to keep myself sane.

Theirs actually one thing that the mood boards made me realize that is slowly starting to bother me more and more

The girls all have main and secondary colors, right? (I'm talking exclusively about transformations) and I used thoese colors to make the mood boards

Bloom has blue then yellow (yellow later changed to pink)

Stella has orange then blue (blue is later changed to pink, then pink to purple)

Flora has pink then green

Tecna has purple then green (her purple was seeming changed to blue later on, then swapped for green being her main color then blue with pockets of purple)

Musa has red than purple (then the slow descent into the red becoming a reddish pink, and her magenta secondary became a lilac)

Aisha has green than pink(?) (Which fucking nose dives into her main color being blue, like so quickly, with her harmonix barely retaining her og colors) (I wouldn't mind this as much if they didn't use the same shade of greenish blue for Bloom, Tecna and Aisha and that on its own makes me fucking loath blue Aisha.)

See when I did the ship mood boards I used two images of each girls primary and secondary color and something very quickly stood out to me

Flora and Tecna both have green as their secondary color

The only color this wouldn't bother me as much with is blue, because the three different colors of blue are very very different. Cyan, turquoise, and navy blue look fucking nothing like eachother. And cyan is the only one that will ways look blue. Pastel blue on the darker end of the color wheel will always look purple. It's so fucking wild

And Aisha and Flora colors are the same color palette flipped

And this, unsurprisingly if you've heard about me bitching about how Stella and Bloom's secondary became pink, bothers me

It they both involve Flora

On one hand. The only transformations I consider canon in my heart and soul are: Magic Winx, Charmix, and Enchantix. Which Flora's are all so primarily pink that the green is barely there. Hell her Enchantix had more blue if you don't count the wings. The desire to change this to yellow or orange, calls to me in the summer's breeze. Of course green wouldn't be completely gone from Flora's design, it will simply get put into her tertiary color in her Enchantix. All of their primary colors are so different (till the color pink attacked) so it bothers me that Tecna and Flora share a secondary color

Like I'm changing Stella into having two primary colors (and she no longer counts on my personal color list because if she did I'd drive myself ACTUALLY crazy) so like....like....if I got my little color obsessed hands on Flora...

On the other hand. This is stupid. This whole thing is stupid. I'm stupid. All of this is fucking nonsense. I have gone down a rat hole of bullshit, and personal opinion. Why am I thinking about this so much????

I'm having a fashion crisis right now. I've realised I've basically worn the same things my entire life while looking on in envy at other people wearing things I love.

I've also realised being queer gives me the license to dress eccentrically, and I've been very irresponsible with that right.

And so, I'm currently trying to figure out what exactly it is that I like fashion wise and want to try and acquire for myself. And so far the only thing I can come up with is:

PSA: i keep seeing posts about staying cool in extreme heat that include advice like "gatorade is bad actually!" and "don't drink fruit juice it'll just dehydrate you!" and neither of these are true!

regarding fruit juice: there's apparently a misconception that Any Sugar At All will dehydrate you, and that's simply not true. yes, sugar will make you pee more when consumed in large amounts, but 1) the natural sugar in fruits won't do this to you 2) great news! a lot of fruit juices exist without any added sugar in them! 3) honestly even having a glass of the fruit juice with added sugar won't completely dehydrate you as long as you're also drinking water throughout the day. if its hot you deserve a cold treat of a drink!!! can't go wrong with fruit juice!!!

regarding gatorade: maybe this isn't an every day drink, but guess what: if it's 110F/40C or hotter outside, and you don't have AC, or you're moving around a lot outside of the AC, and you're sweating buckets: that's when you drink a gatorade.

gatorade exists to replenish all the electrolytes (salt) and glucose (sugar) that you sweat out. YES it is meant for athletes to drink during intensive work outs and not necessarily for people who aren't doing that kind of exercise. BUT GUESS WHAT! when you're sweating buckets because you had to walk to the bus in extreme heat, that's intensive exercise. please feel free to drink a gatorade after that! that's its intended use case!!!!

no: neither of these drinks should be a total replacement for water. but drinking a lot of water and then treating yourself to a fruit juice with lunch is a good idea!!! drinking a gatorade becuase you just had to walk for 20 minutes in the heat is a good idea!!!

Please Stop Spreading Misinformation About Drinks!!! It's fine if you drink things that aren't water!!!! Yes you should probably always be drinking water but drinking something else As Well isn't going to hurt you!!!! okay!!!! its fine!!!!!!
