sometimes i think about sullivan and how his n iruma’s relationship progresses and what made him choose iruma. i mean it was probably something to do with delkira that made him pick iruma up but i also think about that comment he makes early on in the series, that the others in the 3 greats have grandkids and he doesnt and how hed love to have a grandkid. and how he sends iruma to babyls partly because thats what a proper caretaker is meant to do. and how at the beginning maybe hes playacting and thinking yes this is the boy i have brought over for unspecified reasons, My Grandson, and i am the Grandfather (yay!) but its only later on that The Grandson becomes Iruma Suzuki first and then Sullivan’s Grandson second. and then i get happy about it

i read dog boy by hornung weeks ago and man. im still thinking about this book. as a therian it just REALLY hit home, and. my god. that ending. heartbreaking! but how else could things have ended.

god i adore this book. i'd recommend it to anybody who has read and enjoyed my otherkin works--its about an orphaned russian boy raised by a pack of feral dogs and oh boy!!! does it scratch all the right itches!!! its heavy and it doesnt pull its punches but its just so effective, gah.

Seven Sentence Sunday!

I didn't make any of the other tags this week except for the poll thingy because I don't write linearly so most of my wip are a mess ™️ but my stablished buddie with Buck in Eddie's turnout won the poll and that's actually kinda structured now thanks to that and I plan on having this out this week (pray for me) so here are seven sentences (you can read another snippet of it here)

Eddie already has a hose, helping some guys from another station when he finally finds Buck again. He's following Hen, helping triage the less serious cases on the other side of the parking lot, and he doesn't watch for too long, it's barely longer than a glance, but he does a double take once the image fully registers. Because Buck is still wearing his turnout jacket. Properly now. And he doesn't really know what to do with what he's feeling when he sees the DIAZ across his back. Buck sometimes teases Eddie about being possessive, on the rare occasions he gets jealous enough that even Buck notices, but this is not that. The feeling in his chest is warner, not about the idea that everyone is trying to steal him away, or the thought that Buck would somehow leave him (an idea he rationally knows is insane, he knows how much Buck loves him, it's how much Eddie loves him, it's just that sometimes he gets irrationally jealous, he's not sure he could be blamed, just look Buck, who wouldn't be scared to lose him?), but about how much he likes the idea of sharing a last name.

i really love your comunication knife au. it's so interesting and has it's wholesome moments. Especially for how the three have really different dynamics with it's fucked up and cute details. Listen Listen. You See. cPunz is objectively so fucking fun as a character. He knows he's hot shit and is fully confident in who he is as a person. He likes to murder people and there's no tragic sad reasoning for it he's just Like That. He feels emotions, like anger, so strongly but he's a master of schooling his expressions because he needs to be. Things have to be a certain way for him, no he can't tell you Why things need to be like that they just Do.

He doesn't need to wear a mask or pretend around Dream because Dream accepts him fully for the ride or die madman he is, and Punz can't lose him and live in a world where no one sees Punz, only The Mercenary only Just A Guy Who Exists only shallow smiles of friendliness but never any deeper connections because Punz is a complex and complicated person, but no one wants the Punz who complains about poor quality in jewelry, or the Punz who Hates being late to appointments, because the part of him that likes making contracts, likes things A Certain Way considers being late A Breach Of Contractual Obligation.

They don't want to put up with his quirks, his insistence on runes being carved into his friends armor, because he's got old superstitions from when he was a kid, and even if the runes he's got aren't enchantments, it makes him feel better to know he's personally carved the rune for 'protection' into their armor. Its about how Punz can and will read the trashiest novel specifically to highlight and mark it up and explain Why it sucks and how it could be improved, and he will infodump about it for hours if you let him, but only Dream does anymore, only Dream will look over his shoulder at Punz's work and ask in depth questions and let Punz ramble, genuinely makes time for Punz to be himself. Wears armor with runes that don't glow with power but were placed with love and care, and has learned to show up on time or a few minutes early because he Knows its important to Punz. People don't want to know Punz, they just like what Punz can do for them.

This was just a really long ramble that can be tldr into Punz Is Autistic. To Me.

Next time I'll ramble about the Neurodivergent Triangle and how Dream is ADHD and Sam is OCD probably. Listen its Important for you to understand the intricacies of Sam's OCD-

about 90% of my brain runs solely on associations and one of the worst ones i have is when im playing the sims 4 and trying to pick out a blue chair.

because way back when (2018ish), i was watching a documentary on jonestown, called jonestown: the life and death of the peoples temple, while playing the sims 4 because adhd brain. and as i was trying to pick out a blue chair for a bedroom, there was a lady (i think her name was june) talking about how she got involved with the peoples temple, and it was quite memorable so association formed immediately.

so now, anytime im trying to pick out a blue chair in the sims 4, i just remember her explaining that her mother-in-law was in need of a new pet monkey, because her previous monkey had hung itself, so she looked in the newspaper for a new monkey and found jim jones selling monkeys, and so her mother-in-law meets him about the monkey and he invites her to his church, and at no point does she indicate that any part of this story is weird which is besides the point but bears mentioning in my brain.
