on any normal day, enzo would have no trouble seeing stefan. they’d had their gripes before stefan had killed him but enzo had long since forgiven him. he too had done horrible things with his humanity on, and when it was off he nearly lost the woman he loved. but today was different. he was angry above anything else he felt. and running into stefan didn’t help that anger at all. “salvatore.” he sneered as he saw the other. “you ready for round two?” he preferred to direct his anger at him than the urge he felt to harm his girlfriend.

vampire diaries season 7 is so bad that my binging of the show haltedto a stop for 3/4 days.. its just a boring confusing mess then i learn its killing off good characters while keeping annoying ones .. enzo.. around..bonnie/enzo when she had better chemistry nora am i gonna carea bout stefan killin enzo hell no i can't stand that guy should have died in season 6 def shouldn't have been with bonnie. that just came out of the blue.. as much as i didnt care for delena at least it didn't come out of thin air.. you can tell they were out of ideas in this season.. and why does each season since season 3 need a vampire hunter its getting boring.

and more annoying towards enzo. he kidnapped the huntress for.. i dont even know, she became young again and he asks damon for the sword telling him he'll tell bonnie elena was fried to a crisp only to then tell demona elena is fine.. if he never tried to blackmail damon, stefan wouldn't be cursed by the huntress, nora/mary wouldnt diee so his death in s8 .. . thats one thing i look forward too cant stand this man. bonnie can do better and she should hate enzo for.. strangling her boyfriend in seaso 5 anyway.. heck she shouldn't tell damon he's redeemable for killing a prego woman as much as i like their friendship.. im tired of woman forgiving men in this show for their eivl deeds. women do not exist to fix men.. such a sexist piece of trash this show turned into

My Opinions Of TVDU In 2024

(They really haven't changed all that much but I feel like sharing)

–I loveeee Delena. Yep, I love this ship with all my heart and I'm not afraid to say it.

–I loveee Damon, probably another problematic opinion but I don't care.

–I don't like Caroline. There, I said it. She is just the kind of person that would irritate the shit out of me. Honestly, until season 8 I couldn't handle her scenes.

–Bonenzo is the best. Loveee it. They deserved better and I personally want to stab Julie Plec for how they ended.

–Bonnie deserved better. This is an universal truth.

–I hate Tyler, but I recognise that he was right to hate Klaus and right to be mad at Caroline for sleeping with him. Revenge on Klaus was kind of dumb, but understandable. He was right to want him dead.

–Klaus is my beloved, always going to be and I'm not even sorry.

–Marcel is a Mikaelson!!! Marcel is Klaus's son and his treatment is another reason for me to feel murderous to the writers of the shows.

–I don't like Kol. Yeah, he was right in many things, but he came across as somehow self-righteous and believed himself better than his family. Like bro, you aren't.

–Finn deserved better. I honestly still wonder if Finn knew about Klaus's real father, 'cause if he did Klaus would have a valid reason to hate him. I am saying this because in The Originals season 2 episode 3 we have flashbacks of young Klaus and the necklace Esther gave him. If I remember correctly Finn was always in the background and even retrieved the necklace when Klaus lost it. Given that Finn remembered Freya and what happened to her, it wouldn't be far fetched to think he knew who Klaus's real father was and hid it as well. That being said, he is a victim of his parents as well and deserved better.

–I hate Elijah. He just gives me the wrong vibes.

–Marcel and Rebekah made sense and I ship it. The Mikaelson family is insane with their romantic relationships, so they just sort of clicked.

–Kol should have taken the cure instead of Rebekah. Bekah could just adopt, but what is going to happen with Kol when Davina dies? Nothing good. Plus, he loved being a witch.

–Hayley and Klaus and Klaus and Cami made way more sense than Haylijah and Klaroline. Honestly and throuple with Klaus and the two women who call him out on his shit the most would have been chef kiss. Hope deserved two moms.

–Every Klaus ship made more sense than Caroline. Bonnie? Bennett witch and he likes witches. Aurora? First female vampire (other than Bex) and met him when he wasn't as he is now. Elena? Has Tatia's face, and I think if Klaus just tried to befriend her and explain why he needed to break his curse she would've helped. Camille? Her mind, she clocked him the moment they met, not to mention the O'Connell legacy. Genevieve? Powerful Witch. Hayley? Baby mama, werewolf princess and hybrid, not to mention they are similar. Stefan? The ripper days gave off fruity vibes. Damon? I love their scenes together, they have a similar vibe to them. Rebekah? He is literally killing her boyfriends left and right. Elijah? The codependency is strong here, Elijah's girlfriends have a higher mortality rate than Rebekah's boyfriends. Katherine? Tatia's face, also they are similar. Greta? Their few interactions in season 2 pointed to a thing going on.

–Elena is overhated. Baby has the biggest survivor's guilt in the universe and still she soldiers on. I hate when people said she was less compassionate as a vampire, I honestly thought she was the same. Like, she controls her hunger to become a doctor. She is too good for this world.

–Enzo should have been introduced sooner, Bonnie and him should have gotten together sooner.

–They should have explored Damon's trauma with Augustine more, and the fact that he always disregards his emotions.

–Klaus wolf side should have been explored!!!

–Unpopular opinion, but not everything Katherine did was necessary for her to survive. She could have easily contented herself with one Salvatore brother, but she had to go after both.

–Davina and Klaus needed more scenes together. I mean, that's her adoptive grandpa!

–Lily was awful, Damon was in his rights to not forgive her.

–I liked Valerie, and I liked her with Stefan.

–They should have explained more about Klaus ability to have children, 'cause that was weird. I loved it, but weird.

–Alaric should have died and the twins should have been raised by someone else.

–Matt lived too long.

–Jeremy and Damon were kind of funny.

–Bamon was really great.

–They should have addressed the fact that growing up Damon was the only one there for Stefan. We saw that in the flashbacks but they should have said it more.

–Damon purpose in life was to live for those he loved. My take on him.

–Damon was pretty humanity-full vampire until after Augustine when he turned off his humanity. But, five years of torture in the hands of humans would do that to a guy.

–The witches opinion on vampires were ridiculous. This species has been around for over a millennium, they are pretty assimilated in the magic ecosystem. I think their extinction would actually do more damage than their existence.

–Mikael and Esther deserved more pain.

–I think Dahlia only tried to negotiate with Klaus not only because he was Hope's father but because he was the only one who wasn't Mikael's son.

–Vampire/Supernatural politics are actually so interesting.

–Lexi was too hyped. And I don't get what she had against Damon in the forties.

–Legacies doesn't exist.

Hypothetically, if Bonnie were to have a kid before she got with Klaus (say Enzo took the cure and got her pregnant before Stefan killed him) how would that affect Klonnies relationship in a post canon world?

I always see people talking about how bonnie would be a step parent to Hope (which makes sense since she actually exists) but i’m curious as to how Klaus would handle being a step parent (assuming that Hope still exists and he has experience with parenting). How would a Klonnie belended family work?

With Enzo’s gone, or whoever the father is. I don’t believe klonnie would negatively be impacted in a post-canon world. We unfortunately never got to see if Bonnie wanted motherhood or not but in the case that she would. She would put her child before herself, she’s too selfless and maternal with her own friends to truly become a bad mother in my opinion. If Klaus wants to be apart of that then they need to work together. Period. Bonnie would want to have those discussions about their family, and what they all need to proceed together positively.

Klaus was adamant about his love for Hope and protecting her. I don’t see why that would change negatively towards Bonnie or her kid just because Klaus is step-parenting, he’d want to ensure trust and hope that this other child doesn’t think less of him. While making sure that Hope remains comfortable with all these changes and the best way to do that as a now blended family is to have those discussions and spend time together to really see where everyone is at. Klaus did adopt Marcel just because he saw himself in him and despite what many fans will argue on their relationship they love each other in their own way. Klaus has no problem caring for a child that isn’t biologically his. Marcel did disown Klaus several times, but Klaus does still see Marcel as a son even if he doesn’t verbally say it. I wish TO catered to more those moments between Klaus and Marcel (but the racism said otherwise) and even Klaus moments with Hope. Just seeing how Hope and Marcel interact would’ve been perfect. Hope would’ve benefited completely from a family that she can be there with. She deserved that. Here’s Dad!Klaus we should’ve saw more of this.

The only similarity between damon and stefan is that they are vampires. It was stefan who try to went on without human blood for 15 years. He unlike damon actually regards the human life. He could never forgive himself over killing Enzo, hence he sacrificed his life. He didn't think he is worthy of a human life anymore. How damon dared to breath as human after everything he has done is beyond me. His soul doesn't damn him? His conscious doesn't question him?

Look, I’m not interested in getting into Damon vs Stefan arguments. I like them both. I’m refusing your premise.

Like, yeah, maybe Stefan earns some points for having a guilty conscience and attempting to do better.

He also is responsible for much more significant feats of human suffering. Both in terms of how we see him canonically psychologically torturing his victims for fun before eating them and in terms of scale. I’m not aware of Damon ever wiping out an entire town. (Monterrey, anyone?)

And those two things combined are what make him interesting. The fact that Damon follows a different creed is what gives their interactions tension and dynamism. The fact that they have a bad history and disagree so often gives their scenes actual stakes. It’s called storytelling.

And that’s my point. They’re not real people. Vampires don’t actually exist. Literally no one will ever be in their position. They have no actual moral worth because they are fictional. Judging them based on “who is better” is just silly. Like, in real life, I believe anyone who murders one single person has committed an unforgivable sin. I don’t hold fictional characters to that standard. I actually don’t hold them to any moral standard. Their standard is simply whether they are interesting and add to the narrative. Which: they both do!

My weird question is- what would happen if IRH, M2D and FASFTS Stefan’s met? Because while IRH and M2D are from the same branch, FASFTS is completely different. IRH Stefan still has Damon as his “Big Brother”, No Enzo, hasn’t fully accepted his little space and is still getting adjusted to stuff. M2D Stefan accepted his little space, Calls Damon ‘Dad’ and has Enzo (Papa). FASFTS Stefan is human, from a more modern AU, has a vampire older brother (who is much older than Stefan than other versions of Damon’s and Stefan’s), still has Lily alive and obviously- isn’t a little.

They all have such different personalities is almost interesting. I imagine M2D and IRH Stefan’s would get along better since their from the same branch, I can see IRH Stef questioning him and M2D wondering why his life is still a mess (it kinda is compared to m2d) while FASFTS Stef is just in the corner staring at this vampire version of himself (who may be older depending on what age he is-) who live in a world where vampire are knows and are also age regresses? My dude is either impressed or traumatized-

Oh god imagine the Damon’s meeting?- M2D Damon would definitely have something to say to IRH Damon but can also understand his still working on things? And FASFTS Damon would just wish to be them because then he’d have a Stefan who is always young and clings to him.

IRH!Stefan would be mistified at how comfortable M2D!Stefan is with being a baby. He wishes he could be that carefree, but M2D!Stefan would assure him that he used to be the same way. It just takes time.

Meanwhile, lil human Stefan (picturing him 12) would just be like "So wait...you guys are teenagers...but you're also still little kids..." I think he'd be both a little horrified by the idea of never truly growing up while also a little jealous that they still get to be little kids and tended to, no matter what. (Despite the fact that Damon will always view him as a little boy and treat him as such)

IRH!Damon and FASFTS!Damon are the most alike in terms of still sorting out their anger and putting revenge second to caring for their brother. M2D!Damon would be sympathetic but also ream them out for putting their chances at raising their brothers at risk. And M2D!Denzo would probably lock FASFTS!Denzo in a room until they agreed to get married and settle down, because really they're being dumb.

FASFTS!Damon would stare at M2D & IRH! Stefans for hours, seeing just what his baby brother will look like when he's a teenager. Feeling both bittersweet and proud.

IRH & M2D!Damons would absolutely melt at the chance to see and interact with a younger version of Stefan. They'd just want to cuddle him and pinch his cheeks and not let go. He'd definitely be carried around the entire time. If IRH & M2D!Stefans are toddlers, he'd truly be the baby. The other Stefans would feel a little jealous but they'd also have the other Damon fussing over them.

One of the biggest things to emerge would definitely be IRH!Stefan realizing that IRH!Damon doesn't have a partner like the other two. He's raising Stefan alone. Damon is okay with that as he's not ready for a relationship. But I think it'd finally make Stefan realize that if the other two can be in a relationship and still love the other versions of himself...maybe one day he'll be okay if Damon met Enzo in their timeline.

Have you wondered why Stefan have less interaction with on and off screen characters?

Most characters that gets introduced ,.they have interaction with Damon .

I love Klaus and Stefan but Damon and Klaus have a funny dynamic that I enjoy.

It's the way the brothers are written. Stefan is written in his bloodlust, Damon is written in his magnified emotions. For Stefan to get more storyline, he requires monstrous characters like Klaus and Cade. Characters that don't mind being vampires or any other such monster. But he's also the brother that becomes human twice because he prefers to be human. He becomes a human when he gets trapped in an addict's body, and again after Bonnie gives him the cure. Damon gets more character involvement because he's written in his humanity, but he's also a fully embraced vampire. So he gets character interactions with people like John and Andie, Rose and Enzo... yet specific scenes with people like Klaus and Kai.

Damon's friendships are richer because he didn't skate his way into them the way Stefan did in dating Elena. Damon killed Jeremy, used Caroline as a human blood bag, nearly killed Bonnie, and killed Alaric while he was wearing a Gilbert ring. Damon quite literally built those friendships from the ground up. That's why they're richer. The when and how is different for every friendship.

Who are your ABSOLUTE OTP, BROTP and NOTP from TVD? (I feel like the OTP is Stelena but I’m curious anyway! My OTP, personally, is Stelena and I would’ve loved to see a better ending for them. My favourite BROTP is probably Stefan/Lexi but I do also really like the dynamic between Caroline and Enzo when they actually interacted. As for notp, I’d probably say DE, but also maybe KC.)

My absolute otp in CANON is actually forwood but Stelena is a very close second. Almost tied. Both of these ships were just so beautiful written and the chemistry was just *chef’s kiss*. They were done so dirty by plec. Non canon is ovo Bamon because enemies to lovers is my fav. Also helps that there are a lot of parallels to dair imo.

"Enzo?" Stefan was still wrapping his head around what this place was and what was going on and seeing Enzo was not helping the matter. He was overwhelmed with the guilt he had felt before he died for what he had done to Enzo. He had sacrificed himself to make up for the evils he had committed but it wasn't enough. He was only grateful to be human so that the guilt didn't consume him, "I... I'm so sorry, Enzo," was all he could come up with.

On @ripper-royalty I have a verse with @malka-lisitsa called Red String, where Katherine is helping Stefan get through the PTSD of drowning in a box all summer. Stefrine end game, as it should be. Probably my number one ever. Still on going.

On @were-jer I had the a car ride thread with @little-elena where she's visiting at school, Jeremy opened up and talked about dealing with his own mental health in ways he'd never talked to her before. It was really wholesome and perfect sibling energy. That one is finished, but we should write some more!

On @retconned-royalty there was one with @malka-lisitsa where Damon had a complete breakdown over leaving Enzo in the Augustine compound to die. It really pushed me as a writer, there were three replies straight of 4-5 paras each where he couldn't actually speak.

On @hybrid-royalty I've had a few really good interactions with @baby-royalty, I've enjoyed exploring what a good and terrible father Klaus would have been to this adopted child OC. I appreciate that she never asks me to water him down and I think we've had some really well written emotional moments together because of that.

What's a TVDU pairing that isn't canon (possibly never met or limited interaction), that you think would have worked and why?

Splendid question!

So, as we all know, TVDU has the potential to create several friendships/romances beyond what canon can ever achieve. Sadly, those dunderheads of writers never thought to explore such enriching possibilities. This is why we have fanfiction and places like Archive Of Our Own, Fanfiction.Net, and Tumblr and we make those possibilities come true! (hence, the meaning of our otherwise 'bleh' existence)

With that said, here are some of the pairings (non-canon, obviously) that would have definitely worked well. I'm not limiting myself to just TVD or TO or even TL, it's a mix of everyone. Please note that these pairings will seem peculiar as most of the characters involved in the pairing have never met each other or have met each in passing.

1. CAMILLE O'CONNELL & LORENZO ST.JOHN

Both of the characters radiate a home-like feeling. They both care about their loved ones a lot (Cami with Klaus, Hayley, and Davina; Enzo with Bonnie and Caroline) and always encourage them to be the better versions of themselves (Cami with Klaus, Enzo with Bonnie). If both of them would've got the chance to meet, both of them would've worked pretty well as friends and lovers. Plus, can you even imagine the playful banter that comes with a package like this? Simply golden!

2. FREYA MIKAELSON & BONNIE BENNETT (& VINCENT GRIFFITH, optional)

On TVD, there might have been some moments where Bonnie would've felt like the odd one out. She was the only witch in the group until the Heretics arrived and caused mayhem in Mystic Falls. Bonnie also never had a proper mentor to finetune her witchy skills.

On TO, Freya was also in a similar situation when she got to interact with her family. Compared to her siblings, she never actually had friends.

If Freya and Bonnie ever had the chance to meet up, I'm sure they would've been great together. Bonnie could've become more mature and powerful than she was in TVD and Freya would've finally had a friend. Not to mention, chats with Vincent about witchcraft and practices would've been very much enlightening as we never got the characters actually having a logical conversation about the magic that existed in their universe.

(I should include Davina, but she doesn't seem compatible with Bonnie. Even if you consider S5 Davina, she still wouldn't be compatible with either of them because of her immaturity.)

3. STEFAN SALVATORE & MARCEL GERARD

Look, I admit, I have a love-hate relationship with Stefan. The dude's okay, but he has a MAJOR addiction problem. He had Lexi to help him fight back his Ripper self but actually never combat his addiction. He had a staunch friend in the form of Lexi but lost her as well at the hands of his brother. That's when Marcel comes in.

If Stefan ever actually got the chance to remove himself from the shadow of the teen drama that raged on for 8 seasons straight, he would've found a friend in Marcel.

Marcel loves helping vampires. From teaching compulsion to moderating feeding habits, he's always there. If Marcel knew about Stefan's problems, he would've helped him actually combat both his addiction and his Ripper ways. Plus, Stefan would've become a much better person mingling with vampires under Marcel's influence.

4. DAMON SALVATORE & LUCIEN CASTLE

From an antagonistic point of view, if Damon and Lucien ever got together, they would've caused chaos on a scale never known in the history of the world of vampirism. Together, both of them would've been a serious headache for besties Klaus and Stefan and pretty much every other character in the universe.

5. KATHERINE PIERCE & AURORA DE MARTEL

Similar to Damon and Lucien, Katherine and Aurora would've caused similar mayhem, even more than the males could've achieved in their dreams. Their only conflict would be about how to handle Klaus since Katherine wants Klaus dead and Aurora wants Klaus all to herself.

6. KLAUS MIKAELSON AND LORENZO ST. JOHN (& ELIJAH MIKAELSON along with KOL MIKAELSON and REBEKAH MIKAELSON, optional)

Read the names, pretty self-explanatory 😂 Klaus and Enzo are a bit similar. Both of them think the same, except Klaus is crazier than Enzo. Kol and Enzo are level-headed at times but are similarly mischievous. Elijah and Enzo would become great friends and extremely protective of each other. Also, Rebekah would've taken an interest in Enzo and if both of them eventually got to be together, they'd be extremely healthy for each other.

7. ALARIC SALTZMAN & VINCENT GRIFFITH (& JENNA SOMMERS, if she ever got to survive)

Alaric, Jenna, and Vincent have that fierce protectiveness in common. Sometimes, Vincent and Alaric share the same views about the Mikaelsons. The three of them could start a club offering free therapy and just dissing the Mikaelsons and how they've basically upended their lives. Also, the three of them can help each other protect their respective loved ones.

8. JENNA SOMMERS & JOSETTE LAUGHLIN

At this rate, I don't care about Ric. Jo and Jenna should've got a chance to meet. Both of them could've taken care of Elena and Jeremy much better. They also could've helped Elena get away from the Salvatores and stick to herself or just court Bonnie or Rebekah.

9. MARCEL GERARD & JEREMY GILBERT

Let's be clear, Jeremy needed a male parent figure in his life. Someone who was very mature and somewhat father-like, and no one's more than perfect for that job than Marcel. He would've made Jeremy stronger and taught him to defend himself. Plus, Jeremy would've got a chance to mature under Marcel's tutelage.

10. TYLER LOCKWOOD & JACKSON KENNER

These two should've got a chance to meet. Both are werewolves with alpha-like qualities and a fierce passion for their birthright and for the people they love. Regardless of Hayley's actions against Tyler, Jackson and Tyler would've got along very well. Jackson could've helped Tyler with his anger issues and besides Aiden, Jackson would've found a friend to confide to.

11. CAROLINE FORBES & JOSHUA ROSZA

Caroline and Josh would've been hilarious together. Can you imagine Josh making Caroline laugh? Can you imagine Josh backing away from Caroline freaking out about her planners being missing? Can you? Because I can, and I'm laughing.

Plus, it would be nice if Caroline let some steam off instead of being unwillingly available for the men on the show.

12. JEREMY GILBERT & DAVINA CLAIRE

Both of them are the actual residential teenagers on the show who are always underestimated and misunderstood. Jeremy and Davina would've made the hunter and witch pairing, both despising the Mikaelsons but also loving Elena and Marcel.

13. ELENA GILBERT & AIDEN LAURENT & JOSHUA ROSZA

From Elena's character analysis, I feel she prefers quiet friendships. She has a raucous friendship with Caroline but a quiet one with Bonnie, if you get what I'm saying. She works well with the latter. I'm not saying she doesn't work well with Caroline at all, just that Elena works well with calming presences.

Here's when Aiden and Josh come in. Both of them, in a way, can help Elena see the happiness in her life. They are also some of the most wonderful people who Elena can talk with. Plus, Elena would make a brilliant Captain of the Aiden/Josh ship.

14. ELENA GILBERT & FREYA MIKAELSON

Elena has a higher level of self-awareness and thinking. It's pretty clear how introspective she can actually be. The same is with Freya. Both of them need someone who looks extremely young and yet, is an old soul. I feel Freya and Elena, to some extent, will be very healthy for each other.

15. ELENA GILBERT & JACKSON KENNER

Elena and Jackson, again, are very much similar in terms of compassion and protectiveness. They have a common ground I feel Jackson could've made Elena see things clearly about the decisions she always made. Not romantic decisions though, important decisions about her life. Both of them could've had a warm brother-sister dynamic.

16. ELENA GILBERT & CAMILLE O'CONNELL & HAYLEY MARSHALL and BONNIE BENNETT & CAROLINE FORBES & DAVINA CLAIRE

If you notice in TVD and TO, we have two primary trios. One trio is on TVD, consisting of Caroline, Bonnie, and Elena. The other trio is on TO, consisting of Cami, Hayley, and Davina.

The trios are wonderful in their original form. But, I feel like if Elena and Davina had been switched, it would've changed the characters toward a positive direction.

Bonnie would've helped Davina become level-headed and mature. Caroline and Davina could bicker but still kick some ass. Davina could've taught Bonnie and Caroline about the NOLA supernatural culture.

In the other trio, Cami could've helped Elena process her grief and opened her up to happiness. Hayley could've made Elena see things clearly about her romances and help her make the right decisions. Hayley and Elena could've taught some fighting skills to Cami. The three of them could've helped each other adjust to vampirism. Plus, Elena needs more mature company, and Cami and Hayley seem to be good for her.

Don't get me wrong, Baroline are amazing for Elena, but Cami and Hayley could've made Elena a much better person and helped her break the sire bond (which was still there the entire time! for those who disagree, argue with the wall).

18. JENNA SOMMERS & CAMILLE O'CONNELL & KEELIN MALRAUX

The three of them share an experience in the field of medicine and academics. This trio could've worked out very well for each other and would've helped the other characters maintain their heads in a heated situation.

19. ELENA GILBERT & MARCEL GERARD

Again, pretty self-explanatory. Marcel could've helped Elena adjust to vampirism much better than how Damon and Stefan 'helped'. Elena, in turn, could've helped Marcel loosen up and actually enjoy his life in the city without worrying about the Mikaelsons or practically anyone else. Plus, if they ever evolved into a romance, can you imagine Marcel serenading Elena (or vice versa) with jazz? Because I can and THEY LOOK PRECIOUS.

20. MALACHAI PARKER & LUCIEN CASTLE (or TRISTAN DE MARTEL, optional)

They're all psychos, ergo, they have the potential to cause (extreme) chaos for the main characters. Case closed.

21. ELENA GILBERT & HOPE MIKAELSON

Elena and Hope are VERY similar. Both are powerful, wanted brunettes on their respective shows. Both lost their parents. Both are very similar with feelings of grief and loss and rage. Hope is kind, Elena is compassionate. Both would make a wonderful aunt-niece/mother-daughter duo.

22. REBEKAH MIKAELSON & NORA & MARY-LOUISE

Come on, the bitchy banter about Queen Victoria's funeral would be priceless.
