Dude if Ravka was set in the 21st century then it would be fucked. 💀

First of all, the military and its equipment would be outdated. They would still use the guns and weapons from World War II or something. It would be ruled by incompetent ministers that would only care for their own profit and there would be hunger and poverty among the people. If war broke out Ravka wouldn't be able to stand her ground against more powerful countries. I don't think there would be Grisha. I mean they're a fictional group of people with powers that even modern science wouldn't be able to figure out. Or maybe they would now that I think of it. Modern technology has progressed enough for this. But yeah, generally Ravka would be in danger. And it would be regularly attacked by other countries for its land. It would NOT be a place to live in or even for vacation. 😭

Now Darklina as a celebrity couple. Hmm...

They kinda were with that Winter fete display. They gave vibes of it ngl. I feel like they would keep their shared life very private. They wouldn't share details or anything but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't be in the spotlight from time to time since Aleksander knew that the image is everything. I’d like to see a head cannon of Jeff The Killer finding a way to travel back in time to kill Randy and his goons before the incident.

I know I said the LJ sketch was the last for today but I couldn’t help itttt! This really made me think a lot! It’s really interesting to get these kinds of headcannon ideas! Really great idea! 

Let’s just say Jeff had been regretting his life choices lately 

His brother and all the other creepypasta’s were not finding his anger charming anymore if they even did in the first place 

He over heard Slendy and Tim talking because he is an eavesdropper for sure 

Jeff probably found out about a portal that slenderman was hiding that could mess with time. 

He became obsessed with finding out how to use it and snuck into Slenderman’s office in the middle of the night 

He found documents on all the creepypasta’s and documents on different magical objects!

Once he found what he needed he  went to his room and looked through all of the papers and studied them closely. 

At first Jeff thought cool I could use this to Fuck with people and make them think they are crazy or say what I really wanted to say to someone 10 mins ago. 

When he thought more about his life when he was falling asleep he thought about what it would be like if Liu and him were like before this all happened.

Jeff then remembered the incident and Randy and was like ahhh yes the very reason I turned out this way. Welp now I have to go back in time and fuck him up before this happens.

The next day he got up with a mission in his heart. 

He followed the instructions on the portal and for once in his life followed them as perfectly as possible for Jeff

When he goes back to the past he sees all the stuff play out as it did before and then the moment he was waiting for came. 

When he was about to come out of hiding Liu appeared the Liu he knew now not the old Liu.

Liu basically tried to convince Jeff that everything happened for a reason and it’s how it’s meant to be. Also a bunch of science stuff that Jeff doesn’t give a crap about. 

But again Jeff’s pettiness and arrogance get the better of him and he runs out and kills Randy and his little goons

Then slowly everything starts to fade

Oohhh so that’s what happens when you change the past is what is going through Jeff’s mind as he literally disappears out of existence

I think it's definitely something they would do once they realize that they can. Either it's something young ones begin to do in Daycare and it spreads, or Copperpurr has the idea (and maybe helps with design ideas? @liberhoe)

BUT

I am wary when it comes to what feels to come close to face-painting, because of connections to real people's cultures. I think you're fine so long as you avoid certain patterns (you would have to look that up to be extra sure, since I don't know much about this issue). If you stick to MAKE UP-make up, like blood eye-liner, then it should be fine I think

I also kinda want to suggest using it to represent stuff but that in itself feels like it's veering too close to real life. It definitely won't be for different Clans or families or stuff like that, but....If some cats decided to have a marking to show that they were polyamorous/in an open relationship so that others felt free to approach them, would that not be bad?

I always had this idea of Feminazis being actual Nazis. The whole shebang.

I am of the belief that Germany was nuanced. You had people who saw the horrors of war, of hate, of death. They held to hope but lost it dearly. Some were skeptics and some were not.

It's just that I hate how the world has made Nazis the typical bad guy instead of a backdrop for a more interesting dynamic.
