Abilities: enhanced senses, siren voice (with limitations ) , healing touch & vocal mimicry weaknesses - enchantment susceptibility, loss of voice & magical boundaries + being half human Have you always been aware of your abilities?: No, as a child, my father tried to make sure I wasn't aware as he didn't want me being able to overpower him, though that turned out to be a very grave error for him. As I've gotten to learn and understand them, however, I have come to enjoy them more than I initially did. Favorite Magical Items: Oh, my enchanted conch shell, of course ! I was hesitant toward it upon first receiving it, but after getting to know and understand it, it's truly a comforting thing to have whenever I feel anxious or stressed. Listening to the voices of the sea has always calmed me. In addition, though I'm not sure it's truly a magical item, I uncovered a seashell amulet my dad had hidden that belonged to our mother that I never take off. What supernatural creature is your character most scared of?: Hmm, admittedly humans are quite terrifying despite not being supernatural and when they band together and manipulate those with power, it becomes even more terrifying. I've also always been weary of vampires. Who or what would they die for? Their brother and their crew. Does your character fight or flee? Taunt and then fight.

QUESTION ONE: were you born on the island, if so, what kind of curiosities do you have about the world beyond? if you weren’t, what do you miss about the world outside veritas isles? 

No, though I've heard rumors that my mother was or at least, has ties to this island though I've yet to meet someone that claims to be her or knows anything about her. Not that I know much myself.

QUESTION TWO: what is your favorite part about the island? 

Being close to my brother and crew, though I do miss the days when we were out on the sea, it has also been nice to keep them close while connecting with other merfolk and learning more about my roots.

QUESTION THREE: if your character is supernatural, do they fear humans? if human, do they fear the supernatural? 

Yes, given the tales they've been told of how humans treat merfolk, it's impossible not to be, though there are laws against it at Veritas Isles, being raised by a pirate, she knows more than anyone that laws are made to be broken.

QUESTION FOUR: share a fun headcanon or fact about your character! this doesn’t have to be long, just something to introduce us to your character! 

In a world where gender dictated worth, Kai's very existence was deemed inferior by her own father. Her childhood aboard the ship offered fleeting respite, but her father, a twisted puppeteer, decided to banish her to a boarding school. There, she was to be molded into the meek, obedient wife he envisioned, destined to be a pawn in a marriage that would grant him immunity in his treacherous pirating escapades. The sinister truth pierced Kai's soul, but it was her twin brother who dared to rise against their malevolent patriarch. Through countless thwarted attempts, they meticulously plotted their rebellion, slowly gathering allies among the crew who had become disenchanted with their father's lies and manipulation. Finally, their moment arrived—a brutal upheaval that cast their tyrant father and his loyal followers adrift on a desolate island, abandoned to their own devices. 2 YEARS LATER . . . and she’s still running. she hasn't picked up a lick of courage in her two years training in karate, and now her dad’s weirdo old sensei is back, and she feels like she’s literally spinning every time she sees miguel diaz. she’s not cobra kai. she never was, even with the championship title, and now she doesn’t feel like an ‘eagle fang’ either. it leaves her with a pain in her gut knowing that she’s not what anyone around her wants. she knows what she is, and her dad won't like it. noone will.

Just a disclaimer that I did have another blog, but that one got deleted on accident because I’m a silly goose so most of my posts in the start are reuploads from that account! (Boosts on reuploads are appreciated if you're seeing this at a recent time.)

Don’ts (ick): 

Scat and vomit fetishes. Absolutely not. Hard no. Not sorry. 

Vore or any weird shit like cannibalism and other more “alternative” kinks

Any sort of r4pe or 4ssault/ non-con. I might delve into dub-con but there will still be a basis of consent (like a previous discussion or understanding). 

Any sort of incest. That includes step-cest. Absolutely not. 

Illegal age gaps or hard age gaps and ageplay. This includes an 18 year old/ barely legal with anyone over 24. My age gaps will always be 20+ if it includes someone the age of 30 or over. I will also not do any sort of ddlg or “littles”. It’s not my forte and I especially won’t do it if you sexualize it.

On the topic of age, all characters (including reader) will be 18+ when it comes to smut or sexual-related fics. I will try to add this warning when it is crucial to specific characters, but please know that all characters that you request smut of that are originally minors WILL be aged up and that will be depicted inside the fic. There is no exceptions to this rule.

MLM, (T)MLM, (T)FLM, etc. are a no for me. As AFAB I only know how to write for the cis-fem experience and while I love my gays and theys, I just don’t feel comfortable in my ability to do gay or trans/ trans-gay relationships justice. I also don’t feel that it’s my place to write for them. On this note, most of my fics will be reader x male character related but that does not mean that I won't write F4F just because that's in my comfort zone and I understand that experience better.

Too specific of reader details. This also goes into what I said above, but I will no write for race or body type specific readers. I am a cis-white averagely sized woman and while I’m a hard ally, I genuinely just don’t believe I can accurately depict those experiences or people so I will always try and keep the reader as blank as possible so that anyone who reads my fics can be in that character’s shoes.

Tangent: Sadly, I don’t write lots of GN fics just because as a writer I DO insert myself into the story because visualization is how I write. So often the reader will be fem and may have more euro-centric features, typically unintentional. If you have a problem with that, I recommend you find another writer to consume/ create your fic ideas or make your own. (Please do, we need more writers in the EP fandom. This is tough work, truly.)

here’s why:

he was the prodigal son turned pariah, cast out by a family that worships its lineage while letting its rot seep into the roots. he’s the black sheep born under a curse of silence, his existence a scar across their bloodline. his sins are their sins, and they have exiled him not for his evil, but because he wears the mask of their darkest truths too openly.

kai is the cain to their abel—damned by birthright, blood marked on his forehead, driven into exile to wander the wastelands of his own making. he is the boy who killed his family to escape them, but the irony burns bitter: he carries their voices in his head like ghosts, whispers of what he was supposed to be and what he became instead. his hunger for power is the desperation of a starving man clawing at the ruins of a house that never let him in. he doesn’t just want to destroy his family; he wants to devour their gods and spit their broken bones back at them.

like jesus rejecting his father, kai denounces the family that cursed him, the coven that deemed him unworthy, exiling him as a siphon witch, a parasite in their eyes. but no matter how far he runs or how loudly he screams, he cannot escape the blood that binds him to them.

the rejection fuels him—his rage at being cast out, at being made the black sheep and abomination of the family. yet deep inside, where he refuses to look, there’s an ache—a child’s hollow grief for a love he never received, for the mother’s blood that still pulses through his veins. he carries it with him like a wound that festers, a reminder that no amount of violence or cruelty can ever cleanse the filth of what he is, what he was made to be. he is the sum of his family’s sins, the dark echo of their legacy, and no matter how much he tries to wash it off, to transcend the label of “abomination”, it clings to him, dripping from his fingers like the lives he’s taken.

Hiiii! My name is Mia, as you could probably tell from most of my socials name. I’m 18, go by she/her, and am a writer who indulges in both ships and x reader/oc. I’m also into shifting realities, which you’ll be able to find aspects of my DR’s in my fics.

I’ll be posting a mix of all my work on here where you can find sneak peeks at what’s coming and just some extra content that I’ll be leaving here. My Ao3 account is most likely going to be strictly ship content while my Wattpad will be the x reader/oc. I do take requests on here but I’ll most likely only answer/write for it if I feel inspired by it since I have a page where you can request commissions and those take priority most days.

I do have a long list of fandoms that I’m in but you’ll probably only see the ones I’m hyper fixated on at the moment or am writing a longer fic for. Some of these fandoms include Sonic (which is what I’m currently hyper fixated on), Cobra Kai (a fandom I’m writing a long fic for), Marvel, DC, Percy Jackson, How to Train Your Dragon, Arcane, Yellowjackets, Descendants, Angels Friends, etc.

Some of my current projects right now are ‘Bloodlust’ which is a Miguel Diaz x oc fic that covers season one to the very end of season six. I post a lot about the fic on TikTok where you can find some spoilers for the future of the story as well as other fics I plan on writing. Although I haven’t been able to post much for the fic yet I’m hoping to get a few chapters written this month for it. You can also read it here on Tumblr.

Another one of my projects is ‘There Are No Winners With Revenger,’ a Sonic the Hedgehog x oc x Shadow the Hedgehog fic. It will have Sonadow in it, so it’s like a proper love triangle where they all have feelings for each other and all get together in the end. It will follow the plot of movies two and three with some of my own stuff thrown in there. You can also read it here on Tumblr.

I also have a long list of projects I’d like to work on in the future or whenever I have some time to spare. One of these future projects is a Sonadow fic that’ll end up on my Ao3 page. I don’t want to reveal too much about it yet since I’m planning to start writing it in the next couple of days, but it’ll be for the Live Action Movie with a ‘modern’ plot line where some of the characters (Maria and Shadow) were born a bit later in life and lived next door to some of our favourite Morbians.

Another future project that I can talk a bit more about and will probably be the next long fic I work on for Wattpad is ‘A Light Fury’s Guide to Stealing A Dragon Rider,’ which is a continuation from one of my old Tumblr accounts. It’ll follow our main girl Isla who’s otherwise known as Valkyrie the Vicious. As you might have gathered from the title, Isla owns a Lightfury and falls in love with Hiccup Haddock. There’ll be enemies to lovers, secret identities, secret relationships, etc.
