for some reason, pro-israel posts have been popping up on my dash so let me give some of y'all an insider perspective.

have travelled to gaza with my mother, it was not easy getting in, the israeli state restricts citizen access to hide the constant atrocities they commit there. i was continuously hassled, i took off my hijab to make entry easier and still it took three days to gain entrance. when i entered i found the city of gaza in complete and utter apartheid.

we stayed with family friends. there were constant roadblocks and security checks which no one was allowed through, one of which was outside a old man's house, forcing him to travel 10 kilometres to access the main part of town. the military presence was constant and terrifying, looking at a soldier the wrong way would cause a confrontation, one you weren't likely to come out of peacefully.

worst of all, i stood in a market place. it was me, my mother and our family friend. we wanted to try the Kibbeh at a stall and all of a sudden, the israeli military rushed the place. we cowered, we prayed, we ran. a bullet hit the wall mere inches from my head. eventually, we found shelter in the dilapidated room of a house bulldozed by the israeli government.

i will never forget this experience, it has caused me more pain and trauma than anyone will ever know and this is why the misinformation and narratives the west keep pushing vex me incredibly.

i don't like telling this story, i don't like reliving this, i don't like potentially demonising and blaming jewish people, many of whom i know do not support the occupation of palestine.

but it needs to be said: israel is a terrorist state and always has been.

forced sterilisations, rape, murder, abduction and these are only a few of the war crimes they have committed.

my heart will forever belong to palestine, to the palestinians, to al-aqsa and the dome of the rock and the olive trees and the churches.

please stand with palestine, this is not terrorism nor is it unwarranted. this is defence and an attempt at decolonisation.

Journalist Mohammed Farra in Ramallah received the awful news that his wife and children were all killed in an #Israeli airstrike in Khan Younes, South #Gaza.

Israel continues to target the voices of truth so that it does not find a voice that rises above its falsification of current events. Israel amazes us every day that there is more evil that it can commit.

He was not the first journalist.. and because we know that the occupier is a murderer and a war criminal, so unfortunately he will not be the last.. We hope that someone will intervene and the extermination of innocents will stop.

Hisashi Midoriya Does Not Exist

I’m officially calling it.

We’ve seen no photos or flashbacks of the man.

Inko is the only character to mention him and only does so once during a flashback from when Izuku was a toddler. Deku does not talk about his father, so either he doesn't remember him all that well or...seriously, not even a happy birthday, Happy New Year, congrats on getting into UA, etc call?

He hasn’t had any input about this hero career his son is taking on even though it's proven to be increasingly more dangerous as the situation unfolds.

He has not visited once during one of Deku’s many hospital stays, including the one where he was comatose and people weren’t sure if he was coming out of it or not.

Izuku straight up went missing for a time and Hisashi didn't return to be there for his wife, who was definitely freaking out over their missing son.

And now with Japan in total chaos, he did not returned home to be there for his family pre-Final War nor was there ever a point where he attempted to get them out of Japan for their own safety. This seems like it would have been a good time to mention a panicked father phone call. Japan closed its borders to contain said chaos. Was that not a concern for expatriates who have family back home?

So either he is the worst dad/husband in the series, a series that already has a pretty high bar as far as worst dads go, or he doesn't exist. I think Horikoshi forgot he said he was going to reveal him, and is it even worth revealing him at this point? We're coming up on the end of this ride unless there's a whole other lengthy post-finale arc we're getting in which we see the full step-by-step recovery process of society and what to do about the remaining LoV members, provided they even survive this. (Bit anti-climatic, but there's still a lot to wrap up, I guess.)

I understand if the guy just wasn't all that necessary to the story, but why not just have him be a character who passed away before the plot began? Widowed Inko and be done with it.

Still, if he doesn't exist, who's Deku's dad? Inko didn't do this herself.

Anyway, the only information we really have on 'Hisashi Midoriya' is that he has a fire-type Quirk and he's allegedly working overseas.

So on to the insane theory that occasionally haunts my brain. It doesn't just live rent free here, it is a registered ghost that hangs out.

Due to the fire-based Quirk (yes, I know Hisashi is listed as having a 'fire-breathing' Quirk, but then we're just splitting hairs,) I personally think Horikoshi is lining up a shot that will nuke the Shouto/Deku ship by revealing Endeavor was Deku’s father all along for no other reason than to troll both the fandom and his own characters.

The only thing I don't like about this is knowingly sleeping with a married man is not a good look for Inko's character.

I don’t know how any actual people, with actual brain cells and an actual functioning mind look at what is happening in Palestine and still say ‘I stand with israel.’

No, like for real, actually someone explain it to me. Explain to me how the fuck israel is the victim. Explain to me that what is happening in Palestine isn’t genocide, and ethnic cleaning, and settler colonialism, and a massacre. I used to be filled with heartbreak at every video I saw about the tragedies in Palestine, but now it fills me with rage.

If you’re staying silent, or if you’re ‘neutral’ you are fucking disgusting because you are siding with the oppressor.

Simply look at a map of Palestine from before 1948 and now and that literally is enough evidence. Never mind factoring the thousands slaughtered and millions displaced.

Never mind looking at the apartheid, where there’s streets in occupied Palestinian territory that Palestinians aren’t even allowed to walk on. Never mind the use of white phosphorus, or the bombing of apartments, and hospitals, and churches. Never mind the murder of THOUSANDS of Palestinian CHILDREN. Never mind the fact that Gaza is the largest open-aired prison in the world.

The map alone is evidence enough. Adding all these atrocities in just goes to show that regardless of what is happening, the West still stand with genocide.

Enough is enough. There needs to be a ceasefire. Aid for 2.2 million people needs to be let in. There needs to be an end to the occupation of Palestine.

There’s no ‘two-state solution’; the only solution is the complete eradication of the settler colony israel (the ‘state’, not the Jews before anyone tries to call me anti-semitic) and for the land to be fully claimed as Palestine once more.

And when that day comes, because it will, the Day of Judgement will be upon us Insha’Allah, and everyone will answer to Allah SWT for their role in the slaughter of Palestinians.

I am a Lebanese Muslim (Lebanon is a country that shares a border with Palestine) and I have friends that lived in Gaza. Some survived, others didn't. To receive messages from their family members telling me that they passed away is fucking heart breaking. I have already seen the horrors of Israel firsthand in 2006 Lebanon and the historical footprint of Israel on Lebanon.

Someone drew the Israeli flag outside of my house. I reside in a Muslim area in Lebanon. There are roughly 4 stars of David outside my home on the street. It's so fucking angering to see.

Boycott the places that support Israel. Starbucks is sending their funds to the Israeli army and Disney has already donated lots to Israel.
