Okay listen, I'm real tired of seeing that post that's like "actually bell hooks was talking about how we raise boys" and other miscontrusions of what it is that The Will to Change is about.

So directly from the source, from bell hooks herself in the preface:

No one is saying you have to agree with her, but don't misconstrue what it is she wrote about to make it look like she agreed with you. The Will to Change is not solely about how we raise boys; it is also about men and the will of men to change.

Others have mentioned this before, but this only looks like a two-sided brawl at first glance.

Look at the positioning. Izuku is grabbing Bakugou's shirt and trying to create more distance between them with his leg. His other hand is trying to stop Bakugou's attack. It's almost entirely a defensive position. He's trying to get Bakugou off of him or at least trying to create more distance.

Bakugou is putting his hand, the source of his quirk, the weapons grade explosive one, directly on Izuku's face. His other hand is also moving to strike. Bakugou's body language here is all around a threat of extreme violence.

Also, the hand on the face as an act of violence is a go to position for All for One. He put his hand over Yoichi's face when he forced the stockpiling quirk onto him to try to bend Yoichi to his will. Shigaraki spent a good half of the series with a dead hand All for One put on his face. He frequently used a similar hand on face position when he gave or took quirks from people, which he used to control people and spread his influence.

In BNHA, a character covering someone's face with their hand is a symbolic act of suppressing or attempting to control that person.

And this moment is no exception. Bakugou didn't like that Izuku wasn't following the script. Izuku was supposed to be "a useless pebble on the side of the road". So since the beginning of the series, Bakugou was trying to force Izuku into acting in a way that didn't contradict his own worldview.

I love to see Lucifer in a bad light. Not just because it's interesting but also because his usual imagine by fandom is this overly saccharin "he's sad and cute and awkward little guy who did nothing wrong, he just a little lamb" thing that makes me sick and I'm tired of it. Sometimes, Lucifer just feels to humanized T.T like...that moment when Alastor feels more like a powerful eldritch being than Lucifer, I just?????? How????? Why????? When???

I've seen the headcanon where Alastor doesn't need to sleep, which is fun to think about, but when its paired with Lucifer being the one who needs sleep I just...it loses me...Alastor is just a Sinner. He's a Sinner with a bit more power than other Sinners. He's a Sinner part of the big bad Overlord club.

Sure, he may be more powerful than a common Hellborn, but compared to the Goetia and the royal family? He doesn't even hold up a candle. And he knows that. Lucifer knows that--which is another reason why he would not be intimidated by Alastor's power at all.

I love it when Lucifer is a jerk. I enjoy watching/reading him the most when he's being a jerk. He deserves to be in the bad light on occasion. Guy is flawed as fuck.

No bcuz i get it 😭😭 it is not for everyone!!!!!! And he understands that, many of Suguru's relationships have ended bcuz he was too much, too coddling too clingy yada yada yada THAT IS VALID PEOPLE!!!!

Which is why it's a good thing he learns his lesson quickly when it comes to upsetting you, Suguru is very prone to turning into a whimpering little puppy when you ignore him or give him the cold shoulder, HE LOVES YOU!!!! SO MUCH!!!!!!!! It won't take you having to yell at him either, just sitting him down for a serious conversation will get the point across, and his caretaking will shift from coddling and cooing and mothering to just the sweet caring boyfriend who would rather do the chores (yes he doesn't budge on that) ofc he won't happy about the change but he won't complain and eventually come around, no such thing as "we want different things in life which is why we will be separating" NO you will work on it together and by together I mean you addressing the issue and him breaking his back to fix it 😭

Although..............even tho you not talking to him and feeling frustrated is very understandable he's really gonna take it hard, like i said he has been left before bcuz of this behavior, and usually distance is followed by separation, so he's going to panic and scramble for a solution, which can very well come across as him babying you again, and it comes full circle lmao, he will catch on tho eventually, let's just hope he does before you snap.
