Sirius, writing from Grimmauld Palace : I haven't left the house in 9 days, I'm going to start gnawing at the walls soon
Remus, writing back : Take a walk outside
Remus : Or stick your head out the window
Sirius, talking to himself: What does he think I am? A fucking do- wait.

oh steel trap mind was. oh man wow, wow poor reader wow
why would you hurt them(the chain) more??? this isn't nice of you
I felt like it. :)
I wanted to write something different.
I love fluff and nice times as much as the next guy, but sometimes I just wanna write something that hurts.
Also, that piece in particular was me also fighting through my writer's block and I was very frustrated with my burn-out. So screw it. No one's gonna be happy.

Every year I somehow forget that June/July is the busiest fucking time of year at work and it always takes me by complete surprise that it feels like I'm charging head first into a brick wall.

Made some Zenitsu edits to try and calm down. I might open requests for them at some point (not right now)

Here's a reminder for those who need to hear it:
Your intrusive thoughts are not secretly things you want.
If you are compulsively performing actions that keep you from thinking about certain thoughts, you are not having the thoughts because they're things you want.
If having certain thoughts is causing you distress, they are not things you want.
Intrusive thoughts are by definition things that you do not want to be thinking about. You are not a pedophile or a zoophile. You are not going to hurt your family. Your anxiety is finding your absolute worst-case scenario in any situation and playing it on repeat, and your brain is desperately doing anything it can to avoid that outcome, no matter how unlikely, just in case.
People use impulsive thoughts and intrusive thoughts as interchangeable terms, and they shouldn't, because it spreads a huge misunderstanding of what OCD thoughts are. Which results in situations like me being stuck with "people finding out I have OCD and thinking I'm a monster" as an OCD trigger.

We joke but in the wake of all of us going feral whenever we see our favorite characters show tummy, I’ve finally started to internalize that I don’t need to be thin. Thank you fandom
