A Landmark Occasion

Summary: A dirty joke pose at a convention leads to an encounter you won’t forget.

Pairing: J2 x fem!reader

Warnings: AU RPF (both men are single for story purposes, and depictions are fictional, I know it goes without saying but I’m saying it anyway), flirting, celebrity hookup, threesome, oral sex, vaginal sex, implied shower sex, fluff, humor

Excerpt:

“Did you do it?” 

Clare’s voice makes you jump as you grab your bag and shove the model inside. She’s grinning from ear to ear when you look at her, and you just about manage to summon a return smile. “Yeah,” you reply, walking alongside her, away from the photo op area. “Don’t know how good it’s gonna be.”

“Did they laugh?” she asks eagerly.

“Yeah, I think Jared had to explain it to Jensen,” you giggle, finally beginning to relax as the adrenaline from your encounter runs out. “Can we get some air?”

She nods, looping her arm through yours; you’re still not used to how touchy-feely she is, but you’re glad you have a friend with you. This convention has been planned for months, and now it’s nearly over, you’re a little sad the end has come so quickly. “When’s your flight back home?” Clare asks as you approach the exit.

“Tuesday,” you muse, squinting at the bright sunshine when you step outside. A few people are smoking and vaping near the doors, so you step around them, though you don’t go far when Clare pulls out her vape and then you’re surrounded by fake blueberry muffin smell. “I thought I’d go see some of the city tomorrow.”

“Sucks my flight is tonight,” she groans, exhaling more sweet scented smoke. “You sure you’re not gonna get bored without me?”

“I’m sure I’ll find something to entertain myself,” you assure her.

The rest of the day plays out with panels and closing ceremonies, and before you know it, you’re waving Clare off in her Uber, wondering where to go for dinner. You wander back inside once she’s out of sight, noticing how quiet it is now most of the convention attendees have left or gone to their rooms. With a rumbling in your stomach, you head for the restaurant, taking a seat in a booth at the back. There are only a few other patrons, and you briefly notice two men in the booth behind you, squashed up against the walls and talking in hushed laughs.

You pull out your phone, scrolling through posts about the convention, smiling at the things you recalled, and you almost miss the man suddenly standing at your table, smiling widely at you. He speaks as you look up, asking politely to borrow the salt, but you’re too starstruck to say anything when you realize it’s Jared freaking Padalecki requesting condiments...

Summary:

Jensen, 39, is a down-on-his-luck weed dealer in Garden, Texas. Garden is a former ranching town gentrified by an influx of Silicon Valley exiles that work in the shiny, new office buildings built by JPX, Inc.

Jensen unexpectedly inherits a trailer park from his uncle. But what Jensen really wants to do is open a food truck selling refined comfort food. The decommissioned ice cream van sitting on blocks in front of his trailer is a daily reminder of his unfulfilled dreams.

Jared, 35, is the rich owner of JPX, Inc. who wants to tear down the trailer park to put up a ritzy mall. Jared’s ex-boyfriend, Stephen Amell, is in town from New York City: to force Jensen and the lovable residents of Garden Gardens to sell by using his usual arsenal of dirty tricks.

But when Jared meets Jensen at the Farmer’s Market where Jensen is trading weed for pickles with his best friend Danneel, it’s love at first sight. At least, until Jensen finds out who Jared is.

Chapter 7 Summary:

JPX, Inc. buys the tax lien. How desperate will Jensen get to find the money to pay it off? Jared and Jeff help Jensen move. Misha has unsavory suggestions. Jensen learns about things Jared was keeping from him.

PHOENIX - J2 AU

It’s a nineteen hour drive from San Francisco, California to Evergreen, Colorado. When Jensen drives out of the roundabout and onto the compact dirt road leading towards the two thousand four hundred and fifty-six acres of The Phoenix Ranch, it’s nine o’clock in the morning and he’s been traveling for twenty-three hours straight.   Coming home to the ranch Jensen left ten years ago, he has to face his past, present and decide what he wants going forward. All while juggling a baby, a broken relationship, his grandpa, dad, part-time stepmom, four uncles, a cousin, the mother who abandoned him and Jared fucking Padalecki.
