Here are some interesting tidbits I found in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story that I wanted to share:

During the scene of Al and Madonna making out, the mirror in Al's bedroom says "If money can't buy happiness, I guess I'll have to rent it."

These are lyrics from "This is the Life" off of Al's Dare to Be Stupid album

Dr. Demento name's a bunch of movie roles that Al turns down including Indiana Jones and 007 James Bond,

Al parodied Indiana Jones at the start of his UHF movie

And Al did a James Bond style parody for the movie Spy Hard.

Coolio can be seen in the audience when Al is performing Amish Paradise,

And he has the same hairstyle that Al parodied for his Bad Hair Day album.

Breaking: Pierce Brosnan Named as the Next James Bond

Following much speculation after the release of 2021's No Time to Die as to who will succeed Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond, Pierce Brosnan is set to be named as the next actor to play the secret agent on screen.

71-year-old Brosnan had previously played the part in four films from 1995 to 2002. An official announcement is expected to follow.

This comes in a big week of entertainment news, days after Marvel Studios announced that Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Doctor Doom following from having played the character Tony Stark from 2008 to 2019.

Scanlan and VM helped me to watch the DP movies. I don’t want to say Goodbye to Spidey-Kun, since we’re still halfway through the 4 Year Interest pattern of mine. But Deadpool movie weekend has me taking an interest in the Younger Marvel character. I had been having doubts about watching his 1st movie back in 2016, just weeks or a month before my reunion with Nezu-Chan (Danger Mouse) occurred that summer.
