Like a happiness defined

Like the laughter of a babe

Like the sunset by the bay

All good things come in truths;

Start a like and try to defend

Talk louder and louder

Beg the ears of those ahead

Keep blinding yourself in your head

And you'll die quicker before you're dead;

Truth will out no matter how deep

The hole that the liar digs and digs

The sun, the earth, the universe finds ways

Truth will out and will ultimately stay;

Pay the price or keep the lie

What is truth and true will never die

All the time and money spent on lies

You lie in the bed you made 'til it all goes awry;

Like a spring that comes and colors

Like a heart that bursts aflutter

Like the skies after hail and storm and thunder

Clarity and Harmony will feel good ultimately;

Lie and lie and cover up

But what good would that do to you

Pay the toll and pay the buck

Keep from the truth and slowly shrivel through.

If you don't know yet, Buck and Eddie from 9-1-1 could possibly date. Just saying. If you don't know yet. I mean, saw Buck's reaction to that lady elf presuming that kid was 'Theirs' and not just 'Eddie's and all he did was smile and say thank you? And he even did a broadway hop-skip on his way out that convo.

Yeah I know!!!!! I saw the episode just a few days ago and I’m still not over it!! 😱😱 But I don’t want to get my hopes too up because we never know… But still… why would they make a scene like that if this wasn’t a hint………?? *fingers crossed*

Are you familiar with the MOD for it? "Crusader Kings 2 : A Game Of Thrones" ? If the base game took almost 2hours from you, imagine adding necessary incest, dragons, and magic to it.

I don’t play with mods, because I play only Ironman mode with achievements enabled. I’m a borderline-OCD achievement hunter.

And the ability to disable seduction without disabling achievements is the only reason I launched the game again (because of course I did...) And then I learned that there’s a whole new set of options to tweak the availability of various things ingame, and saw that you can enable full status of women by default from the start and that IT DOES NOT DISABLE ACHIEVEMENTS?!

It’s a ridiculously unbalanced option that makes the game so much easier, but hey, I’m not complaining :D 

On to create the Empire of Scotland!

Manifestation

When I was little, I would always draw the same kind of characters My mother once remarked how odd it was that, in the end, I grew up to look exactly like one of them A tall girl with long tangled hair And legs reaching down almost to the bottom of the page I wonder if that's what people call manifestation Did I stretch my own bones with the stroke of an overzealous pen? Did I really have such power placed in my innocent hands?

If so, what am I to think of the darkness I dreamt since childhood? Of how lovely and comforting  the obscure was to me The inferred but unuttered The women that I would draw always looked to the side Beyond the borders of my coloring book With an odd knowing glimmer in their eyes A somber, secretive look Over the years my bones shifted to give me that same face An unreadable cypher I grew to be sullen, to silence more than I say Did I have a hand in it? Did I define my own features, Craft them in one fell swoop of a felt tip?

What made me who I am? Destiny or design? I never intended to play God But it seems I held my own self in my palms Like a block of clay Some kind of unconscious arts and crafts project. I must have modelled myself after all that I admired Rebellious and bohemian Enamored to madness Distanced and calculating Less bridal than monstrous

I blackened my own heart with a permanent marker I told myself a story enough times That it stepped from the page to meet its maker It's not that I wasn't warned I am tall and brooding because I never listened to what I was told Careful what you wish for It might just come true The human psyche, a distorting mirror, a game of mimicry Monkey see, monkey do

I was a child with second sight Sketching her own future So I guess it is manifestation The mighty spell of magic thinking Almost as potent as a third eye Mother was right. I am fiction become flesh My life, a successful imitation of art

Helloooh everyone!! We're here at the poetry hall of fame.. and I am DJ Eunique.. at the station that slaps your eyepatch off with eye-popping poetry from the beautiful minds of anyone that would like to submit. Thanks for tuning in.. as we had to change channels due to a disagreement between Rhapsody and I over at PoetryPortal. Now for your challenge.. tell them what they get Johnny!!

*in the voice of Johnny* Behind curtain number one.. I want you to write any poem you like.. *chuckles* except I want you to begin it with, “I am beautiful..” in the middle of it, I want you to write, “I am not,” and end it with, “yet I will always be.” Pretty simple.

Behind curtain number two, *chuckles* we have the BADASS hidden.. to be a badass, you need to color code the way I have behind these curtains, and use the triple alliteration, “failure finds forever,” and presto.. you are a badass.

So lost in modernity

That simple human connection

Is replaced, monetized by therapy

We share in the brokenness

But not in the unity of

What could make each of us smile

Make one another happy

Cost-benefit has broken down the world

From community to something transactionary

How lost we can be in the lacking

How lost we could be in the unifying

And make connections with our healing
