I ended up scene-picking around the timeline at pretty-much-random, whatever I thought fit the lyrics the best in the moment of blinding inspiration (lol), but now that I’ve got the basics down to paper, I think I’d more carefully choose in mostly-chronological order. That also means some would have to be cut, so I want to show them off here! :D I also drew them all from memory so if there’s inconsistencies, that’s why lol

For example this is one of the very early lyrics, but the events take place well down the timeline! I’m sure I can find a good stand in - mostly I just wanted to draw Papyrus from this scene, ugh I love him ♥ And the lyrics do fit!

Looking back to Sans for reassurance haha. I changed a few of the lyrics to be more Papyrus-specific -

Originally I had his glow coloured in purple but this was one that I actually went back to look at (because I love this scene so much hhgggg <3 <3 <3) and had to change to his natural colour - he deserves it!! He’s earned it!!

I’ve honestly fallen more in love with this song through him and vice versa haha ♪ It’d be quite a bit before/if I could make a full version, even just with what I’ve got here, but it was so fun to draw at all ♥

I think that Kipperlilly remaining dead was ultimately the best decision, in fact I think it would have probably been a weaker ending had all of the rat grinders been revived, but I still look at her and see myself.

I think I am naturally a very jealous person, and even though Kipperlilly is a very exaggerated version of those traits it doesn't stop me from looking and seeing all the times when i felt that way, all the times when I looked at someone succeeding, looked at someone who was better then me and felt a pang of anger. I wanted to be good at things, I wanted to be the best, because if there was nothing special about me then what was the point?

I never acted on those feelings and am now a lot better at expressing my frustrations in more healthy ways, but when I watched the show I saw Kipperlilly and instantly loved her, because she felt that rage and jealousy and unjustifiable anger, and even if she was not someone I ever wanted to be like it did not change the fact that I was able to see myself, even the ugly parts, in a way I never had before.

In the end I absolutely loved this season and would not have had it be any other way but I think I'll always love Kipperlilly, not because she was a good person or someone to strive towards, but because she was the opposite, and because she felt all the emotions I've always been too afraid to share.

I remembered in warmups tryna skate by the redline initially just kind-of gettin' a feel for it—to see if I have to say something or whatever... He's got no bucket on, his big, bald head is glarin' around, he skates by the redline with the biggest smile on his face, and just gives me the biggest wink...

At that moment I knew Okay, he remembers. It's gonna happen at some point.

We were up 1, I think it was 2-1 going into intermission or whatever—Oh, no, I think it was 1-1 and we had just scored so the position I'm like Yeah, I don't know if I can fight him now because we have the momentum and we're winning the game. I don't want to lose a fight, then we lose a game and now I'm, like, never getting a chance again.

You kind-of gotta play the game within the game like [...] there's an opportunity to fight, and there's an opportunities where you shouldn't fight. Things weren't looking good, then they score and now we need a spark. I'm like Fucking perfect.

I just skate by their bench and I'm like It's time, big boy! He jumps out, we line up, and he goes We squarin' up or we goin' right away?

I'm like I'm not fuckin' squarin' up with you right now! We're goin' right away!

Drop em, we go right away, grab each other. I know he's a lefty so he's gonna let go—let's go of my right arm before he throws one. I threw one. Big boy went down, he jumped back up pretty quick. I don't know, I tell people all the time, I'm like I would've been in the league fuckin' 2 years earlier if there was good footage of this fuckin' fight!

For some reason—For some reason, the cameras cut out. I don't know if [he] had his cousins working the cameras or something that night, or if they're in the video room or what happened.

That was my first NHL game.

It's funny 'cuz Chucky was there—Chucky's there and he knows, he saw, he always laugh when I say that I would've been in the league earlier 'cuz he knows how things like that go. You get a little bit of energy and buzz around ya, and then kind-of momentum takes you a little bit further but unfortunate[ly], I missed that opportunity but I don't regret a thing.

You know, i swore off of watching any more marvel movies for a few years, but I did watch DP 3 because well, i used to know what deadpool used to be, and it used to be GOOD. it used to be not just funny, but it had heart too.

But well, it was very silly to expect anything like that when all marvel seems to be doing now is treating characters not as characters, but as conduits for one liners and jokes. Its the death of sincerity. The death of art, really. And the writing laughs at you for expecting anything more. Its laughing at you for ever having connected to these characters... because theyre NOT characters anymore.

And I guess thats why ive fully lost my passion for this stuff as of late.

And I cant even take it as brainless slop, because this brainless slop tells you with no pretense that this is a souless cashgrab that you fell for. And an expectation for a film... well that was your own mistake. Fork over the cash, waste your time, and move on.
