Sometimes I think how TAZ Balance showed just how much the McElroys know and love each other. The fact that Griffin was able to write about what they would do for A HUNDRED YEARS down to the tiny details and they happily carried out everything he said is insane.

He KNEW his dad as Merle would willingly risk his life over and over to try to save them. He KNEW Travis as Magnus was NOT going to allow Fisher to stay on that planet.

And, most devistatingly, he KNEW that the one thing he could take from Justin as Taako that would tear his heart up was a sibling. He knew he could count on Justin to play into that heartbreak and he did it so well it literally broke all of us. "Who?" "You took EVERYTHING from me!" "The world is ending and I DONT CARE" like are you joking? Griffin knew that would be Justin's reaction to finding out he had lost a sibling!!! Imagine knowing your brother felt like that and playing him like a fiddle with it! Literally teeing him up for some of the best moments in fiction ever and Justin hits a home run every single time!

I guess what I'm saying is it's not railroading if you know what the answer is gonna be to every question. Griffin didn't need rails to keep these guys on track, he knew what path they would choose and every time they rushed in.

Yes! I love them!

They basically own the library at this point. Other people come in and they all turn and stare

Mavis calls them the Triad and after awhile the rest of the guild did the same

All of them speak multiple languages.

They randomly swap languages in the middle of conversations and it drives the other guild members nuts

Like imagine them all gushing about a new book and switching through four different languages without missing a beat

They also taught each other the languages the others don't know. So like Freed teaching Lucy and Levy French.

Freed also taught the girls some handy Jutsu Shiki. Their favorite is one that stops nosy dragon slayers from eavesdropping

Each month one member gets to pick a book for the group to read and then they meet up at the end of the month to discuss it

Lucy dedicates her second novel to Levy and Freed. They nearly cried when they saw it

Levy is known for staying up super late reading and calling the others when she reads a particular good scene

Freed and Levy are always harassing Lucy about her book. Sometimes she sends them little scenes unprovoked and they freak out

They all know really weird fun facts? Freed's are usually freaky (science mostly), Levy's are usually about ancient stuff, and Lucy's are usually about locations

"Triad hit me with a fun fact" gets requested a lot.

Master Makarov saves jobs with book/text rewards for them. Not that anyone else would want to take them

Clients also specifically request them a lot. Even tho they aren't a team, they usually end up working a couple jobs together a year

Well, they haven't seen each other in years. As much as we want them to GET TOGETHER ALREADY, I'm also a sucker for development. It'll be slow but necessary since a lot has changed in those years they were apart. I'm sorry for the slow burn you guys but you know... Angst and stuff. So yep sweet dates and keeping the epic proposal, I think y'all would sue me if I remove it.

The first fight would be with baby Anya. I'm not gonna spoil it because I'm making a comic for this.

Handler is of course still there so is Franky, I love that dude. And Nightfall I think would still have a crush on Twilight, but I'm removing her rivalry with Yor because what else can she do when those two are married fr fr??? So she'll be more chill with that because I want her to be that badass girl that she is. And Bond??? OF COURSE HE'S THERE! I'LL GO TO JAIL IF I REMOVE OUR BEST BOY!
