Summary: you're the sister of Mon-El you leave Daxam when you were little and came on earth before Kara. You met the daughter Luthor who'll become your wife and you two have a daughter. Unfortunaly, she'll be betrayl by a mysterious woman, Rhea, who is your mother.

[Daxam after the explosion of Krypton]

Someone woke you up, and you were confused when you saw the fear in the eyes of your maid. "What's happening?" She didn't have the time to reply when you both heard screams and cries. She took your hand and dragged you out of the castle.

"Ms. Y/n, Krypton exploded, and it is falling on Daxam. I need to make sure you can escape." She found a Kryptonian pod and pushed you in.

"No, Abbie, I don't want to leave you." You started to cry, "Come with me, please." You plead, but she shook her head.

"You're the princess of Daxam, miss. You have to go and survive." She hugged you and apologized, "I'm sorry, Y/N." She was crying as well.

"You can't leave me. I need you, and mom, and dad and my brother" she brushed her thumb on your cheek to calm you down, "and I'm only 5, I'll not survive without you. Please Abbie" you plead again.

"I already put data in it; it'll bring you to a planet called Earth," she kissed your forehead before starting the pod. "Don't forget, miss, you're a princess; act like one," she said as she placed her hand on the window, and you reciprocated: "Good luck, miss Y/N."

You were flying into space without saying anything.The journey should have been quick, but your pod collided with an asteroid, sending you to the phantom zone.You are imprisoned for the next 27 years before miraculously escaping.

[Earth, a town near Metropolis]

When you landed on Earth, Clark was already Superman. He found your pod when you lend and helped you, and because of him, you found a new home in this new world. The (y/l/n)s were good parents; they always wanted a new child, so when the Superman asked for their assistance, they couldn't say no.

The first years were difficult, you missed your family and Abbie too. But fortunately, you were glad to have a new big brother who was a jerk but not a Don Juan and a big sister who was always here when you needed her.

After a few years and many late-night conversations with your sister, Jessy, you decide to live a life that makes you proud. Since this moment, you were not the princess of Daxam; you were just Y/n Y/l/n, daughter of James and Kathryn (Y/l/n), and the little sister of Mike and Jessy. It was all you needed, at least before you went to high school. You met her there; she was stunning and beautiful; you couldn't count how many times you were lost in her green eyes, and her black hair, which contrasted nicely with her pale skin, was also quite nice.Her name: Lena Luthor.

After taking some advice from your friends and your siblings, you asked her out, and she accepted. You started dating one month after your first date, and three years later you married her. With her job at Luthor Corp and your job at Daily Planet, you almost have time to spend together, but you decided to have a child, you carried her, and it was the most beautiful thing in your life after Lena.Her name was Lilly; you thought it was a pretty name, and it was the minimum for your pretty princess.

Time flies, Lex has gone insane just after you and Lilly move to National City. Lois found you a job at Catco where you could work less and spend more time with your daughter. Unfortunately, that means you were not here when Lex tied your wife to a chair in his office and threatened to kill you. She was aware of your past and the fact that you were a daxamite, but she didn't mind; all she cared about was the fact that you adored her and Lilly above all else.

[Present]

It's been a while now since Lena came to Central City, and you will not lie; you were pretty glad. Lilly loves you, but she missed her other mom too. Today you decided to have lunch with your wife, and you brought your daughter. It was a little surprise to Lena, but it was a surprise for you when you knocked and opened the door to find an older woman with your wife. She looked familiar, but you couldn't tell where you saw her.

The little girl didn't hesitate and rushed to her mom to greet her with a hug, and the green-eyed woman picked her up. "Hi little princess, I missed you," she cooed, and you smiled at the interaction. She looked at you and seemed to recall something, so she cleared her throat and came to a halt beside you, kissing you and saying, "Rhea, this is my wife, and Lilly is our daughter."She introduced you. "Y/n, this is Rhea. She asked for my help on a new project." She explained, and you nodded.

You offered your hand at Reah, and she shook it. "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Rhea; I hope she'll not bother you too much," you joked, and your wife punched your shoulder. "You know that doesn't hurt me, honey," you said, and Lena rolled her eyes.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." Lilly said.

"Oh, I think it's my clue to leave." The older brunette said,

"No, you can stay and eat with us." You offered.

"Oh no, I don't want to ruin a mother-daughter moment," she said, and she pocked the cheek of the little girl, who giggled,

"You don't ruin anything, Rhea." Lena said this time,

"Don't worry, there is someone who wait for me too," she said before walking to the door. "I'll see you soon, Lena." The three of you waved your hands, and she left.

"I like her," you said. "I just hope this new project will not take all your time."

The CEO kissed your cheek this time "I promise. Now let's go to eat."

After your first meeting with Rhea, the woman was always here when you visited L-Corp. It was not really bothering, she was pretty good with your daughter, and Luly seems to like her too. You were waiting for your wife that night, and you were reading a bedtime story to your little princess when she said something that caught your attention: "Mama, Mrs. Rhea, look like you." You stopped reading the story and looked at her,

"What do you mean, princess?" you asked softly,

"Yeah, she looks like you, and she looks like Mike too." You frowned your brows; you hadn't met Mike, Kara's new friend, yet. Lilly and Lena liked to say you had some common point with him, but you didn't know him. "Do you think she's from Da-Dax..." She searched for the right word, and it was cute to look at.

"Daxam, baby girl. And I don't know; I almost forgot everything about it. It's been a while you know." She nodded, "Now it's time to sleep, little princess. Tomorrow we will go to the carnival with mommy," you said, and she was so excited.

You left her bedroom when you were sure she was sleeping. You looked at the time and noticed it was late, and Lena didn't reply to your texts or your calls. You thought for a moment before calling Alex. "Hey Alex," you said when she answered the phone,

"Hey Y/n, it's late. Aren't you supposed to sleep?" She worriedly asked.

You groan "You're such a mom." And she laughed "do you know where is Lena? I tried to call her, but she didn't reply, and she didn't reply to my texts. I'm starting to worry." You admitted and you heard her sighed

"Y/N, we have a problem," she said, and you started to worry about your wife "We think she has been trapped and kidnapped by Mike's mom. But don't worry, Kara is on it."

"Where are you?" A wave of rage begins to wash over you.Alex told you where she was, you called Jessy, and she took Lilly with her for the night before you almost flew to where your friends was. When you reached the older Danvers, she was in front of a portal. She told you Kara was on the other side, and you didn't hesitate to run after her.

On the ship, you found Kara, Mike, Rhea, and an angry Superman. "What the hell?" you yelled, and every gaze was on you. "why Clark look like he's in front of a bad guy?" you asked, and the black-haired Kryptonian walked to you before he was stopped by Kara. You looked at Rhea and said, "You. Where is my wife?" You asked

"What Lena is your wife?" Mon-el said, and you focused on him.

"I saw you somewhere," you said, and some flashes from your childhood started to run in your mind. "Mon-el?" you asked, and you tilted your head. "But how? You were supposed to be dead when Krypton fell on Daxam." You were more than confused. He was about to reply when Rhea attacked you with a dagger made of lead. Thanks to your training with Clark, you successfully dodged it and attacked her back.

"Who are you?" the man  asked you.

"I'm Y/n, princess of Daxam," you said, and the room froze at your confession.

"Wait, Y/n like--" your brother wanted to say something, but Rhea cut him off,

"It's impossible," she said."My daughter died, Krypton took me my daughter," she explained, and now everything makes sense—the familiar look, the fact that Lena and Lilly always say you look like both of them.

"Mother?" you asked, and you didn't trust what you said. All this time, you thought you were the only one who survived. "But how should you be dead, both of you?" you asked, as tears streamed down your cheeks. "Wait, if you're both alive, that's mean father and Abbie too." At your sentence, Rhea was hit by a wave of guilt. Mon-El looked at her and didn't say anything.

She shook her head, and you cried harder. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm really sorry." She kept repeating it as if it would make you stop, but it didn't. And honestly, neither of them could make you feel better. You wanted to yell at them because they didn't protect Abbie, but an alarm stopped you.

"What is this?" you asked, and a guard ran to where you were before stopping and panting,

"My queen, the humans... They sent lead into the atmosphere." he announced, and the three of you widen your eyes

"What?" You said, but you didn't wait for any response before leaving the ship—thankfully, it was on top of the building. When your feet were definitely on the ground, you started to run. You had to find Lilly; she can't be exposed to the lead. Even if she was half human, she would be affected by the lead.

[North Pole, Fortress of Solitude, a few minutes earlier]

After Lena crossed the portal, Luke closed it. "What are you doing?" the young Luthor asked, but her mom didn't look at her.

"We needed to get away, and we did. Now what happens to them? That's not our problem." Lillian said nonchalantly, "But we have another problem." She said, and her daughter tilted her head with confusion, "ThisRhea sent all her army to conquer us, but we can stop her." Her voice was cold and calm, but she was a little worried, even if she didn't let it show. She is attached to Lilly, and she can't imagine what they could do to her.

"And what are your plan?"Lena asked coldly.

"We know they're weak against lead; it's their kryptonite." She took a little box "Lex had planned to use this to diffuse kryptonite in the atmosphere to kill Superman, but if you change it, it could diffuse lead." She informed her,

"And why would I do that?" The CEO scuffed,

"Because we both know you have a reason who is 4 years old and could be in danger if they found her." Lillian said,

"But my wife is a daxamite too." Lena reminded her,

"Yeah, I know, and I have something that could help her not be affected." She said casually, "So?"

Lena examined her mother and the cyborg beside her "deal."She said it quietly but enough to be heard by her mom, who now had a smile on her face.

Only a few minutes later, your genius wife finished the modification and activated the device.

[National City, present]

You knocked on the door of Jessy's apartment, she opened quickly and inspected you before leading you to her sofa. "What happened to you? Where is Lena?" she asked, afraid of your condition.

"Someone diffuses lead in the—" you coughed, "atmosphere," you finished, coughing.

"Wait who? And why?" Your sister asked,

"I don't know, but I need to contact Lena. Lilly will be affected by the lead, and she's the only one who could help us." You declared, Jess wanted to say something, but her phone rang; it was Lena.

"Lena, where are you?... what? Yeah, she's with me ... Right now? Okay, she's with me too, in my apartment... Yeah see you soon." she hangs on and turned to you "it was Lena she's in her way to come here. She'll be here soon. You should rest. I'll bring you water," she said as she walked to the kitchen.

You walked to Jessy's room and opened the door. You saw Lilly. She was sleeping, but suddenly she started to cough and was now awake. You took her in your arms and made your way back to the living room. Jessy came back and gave you both a glass of water. It's been more than twenty years now since you were on earth, so you knew you could stay a little longer, but you were worried for Lilly. Fortunately, Lena didn't make you wait too long.

You heard a knock on the door, and your big sis opened it. She smiled when she saw Lena, but her smile disappeared when she saw the woman behind her. "Oh Lillian, what a surprise." she said coldly, but let them step inside.

When you saw the familiar green eyes you were relieved and then you saw your mother-in-law, you suppressed a caught "Mother-in-law." you greeted her

"Daughter-in-law" She greeted you back, "You seemed more alive the last time I saw you," she joked, and you chuckled,

"Granny Lillian." Lilly greeted her, and the older Luthor's heart almost dropped when she heard the voice of her granddaughter.

"Hey princess, did you catch a cold?" Lena asked when she noticed her daughter's condition.

"No, someone diffused lead in the atmosphere," you replied, and the youngest Luthor coughed against your chest. "Hey, it's okay, Princess," you ran your hand through her hair. "Mommy is here; she'll find a way to help you." you whispered loudly against her temple.

Lena covered her mouth with her hands. It couldn't be real. Her baby girl shouldn't be affected by the lead, she's human too. Lillian noticed and decided to speak, "We have something that could help her." She informed you.

You didn't have to think too long about it, you understood they couldn't save both of you. "Hey princess, do you want to show the gift uncle Mike gave you to your granny?" You asked softly, and she nodded before getting up and walking to her bedroom. You started to walk to the kitchen and made eye contact with your wife. She got the hint and followed you.

"I'm sorry," she barely said between sobs.

"Hey, darling... *cough*... it's okay. You'll help Lilly, and I'm sure you'll find a solution for me after that." You kissed her forehead gently.

"I was not talking about this," she admitted. You didn't say anything; you just studied her eyes.

"It was you?" You asked her, and she nodded. She was crying harder, and you locked her between your arms. She could hear your heartbeats, but they were so ecstatic she couldn't feel safe, "I know why you did that." You whispered, and you ran a hand through her hair, "I'm not angry or anything, Lena. Just promise me you'll do anything to heal Lilly." She gently drew back and locked her gaze on yours.You only saw sadness and fear in her eyes, and it was killing you.

"I promise. But we have to do something for you." She replied, and you smiled softly.

"It's okay, my queen; I'm sure Superman and Supergirl won't mind if I stay in the fortress for a while." You tried to reassure her, or you. You didn't really know, but you can't let her feel bad for something she couldn't control. "I'm okay, Lena, I promise."

Jessy came in the kitchen, and you looked at her. "Lilly is feeling better now." She informed you, and Lena was relieved. You wanted to rush to your baby girl and take her in your arms, but you fell to the ground.

When you awoke, you were in the fortress. You could feel the lead in your lungs, but the pain slowly went away. You looked around and noticed a floating robot."Good morning, Mrs. Y/l/n-Luthor, I'm Kelex," he said.

"Oh, nice to meet you, Kelex." You looked around. "We are in the fortress, right?" you asked.

"That's right. Supergirl brought you here after you collapsed in your sister's apartment," he explained.

"Oh," was all you could say."Do you know where the others are?" you asked.

"They were back in National City. But you can't see them right now." he said, and you looked confused. "The atmosphere is not totally free of lead. You must stay here, safe," he explained.

"Do you know until when?" you asked, a little saddened by the revelation.

"We don't know, but don't worry, I'll let Mrs. Luthor and Kara know you're awake. They could come to see you during your time here." he said, and you nodded.

"Okay, it'll be fun. At least, I hope," you muttered.

I like writing platonic/familial fics a lot more than writing romantic fics (especially with the Arrowverse)

Keep in mind, as much as I absolutely love Dansen, I’m a Sanvers fan (I don’t like the term “shipper”) through and through, so I’ll probably throw that into Supergirl fics any and every time the opportunity presents itself.

What I won’t write:

Most AUs. I’m not really a fan of them and some of them are kinda hard for me to understand. I’ll probably make some exceptions from time to time, but please send me an ask about it before you put it in a request.

Stalking.

For mental health reasons, EDs and body type-specific readers/characters.

In-depth suicide. Topics related to or involving suicide to any extent may appear in some fics, but I’d rather not get requests for it.

I try keeping my fics as inclusive as possible, so I won’t write race/ethnicity-specific reader.

Male!reader

I tend to default to fem!reader but I’m trying to get into the habit of writing gender-neutral!reader, so please be specific about which one you want!

“Estranged Soldier” Nia Nal imagine

Being a civilian again felt odd to say the least. It felt weird to walk down the street without the worry of being shot or ambushed on your mind. The only person that made things feel normal was your girlfriend of a year, Nia. The two of you met in a bar while you were stationed at a base near National City and had been together ever since.

Even though you had been together for a year, most of your relationship occurred through texts, short calls, and emails. That’s why you almost always met her at CatCo for lunch. You were just about to approach the main doors when Nia walked out.

“Right on time.” You mused as Nia threw her arms around your neck.

“I’m always on time.” Nia whispered before kissing your cheek and then pulling away.

“So, where do you want to eat today? I heard that new Greek place is good.”

“Somewhere close. I have a meeting right at one with my bosses.”

“So Noonans?”

“You know me so well.”

Nia held your hand and started to drag you towards the restaurant. After a short walk you reached Noonan’s and sat down in the usual booth. After ordering, Nia started informing you on her newest article. Just as she started to talk about Ben Lockwood’s arrest, her gaze left you and started to follow someone. You looked over your shoulder to see two women sitting down at a table on the other side of the room.

“Do you know them?”

“Yeah! That’s my boss, Kara, and her sister.”

“The Boss Kara you always talk about?”

“Yes! Come on, I’ll introduce you.”

Nia excitedly jumped up and lead you over to the women. As you got closer, they both looked oddly familiar.

“Nia hey!” The blonde woman excitedly waved.

“Hey Kara! Hey Alex!”

Hearing those names together made a lump in your throat form. As you looked at the women, a few steps behind Nia, your heart started to beat faster when you pieced together who they were.

“This is y/n, the one I’ve been dating and not the one from tech support.” Nia grabbed your hand and tugged you closer. The women looked at you with a look of disbelief.

“Y/n?!” Your sisters asked in unison, looking as shocked as you.

“Kara...Alex. It’s nice to see you again.”

“Wait, you guys know each other?” Nia asked, looking at each of you with confusion in her eyes.

“They’re my sisters.” You mumbled while looking anywhere but the table.

“What? But you’re last name is different than theirs and-.”

“We have different dads.” Alex interjected as she stood up, her eyes locked on you.

“Does mom know you’re back?”

“No...I was planning on telling her this weekend.”

Alex scoffed and rolled her eyes.

“Typical y/n. Running away from confrontation.”

“I’m not running away from anything, Alex. Last time I checked that was your job.”

“Enough! I am not going to let you two argue about this in the middle of a restaurant!” Kara jumped up and stepped inbetween you and Alex.

“You should talk to mom. She’ll be happy to know you’re alive.”

Without another word, Alex brushed past Kara and walked out of Noonan’s. Kara nervously bit her lip and looked at you.

“I better go find her. I’m uh...I’m glad you’re back.” Your younger sister flung her arms around you for a quick hug. Before you could do anything, Kara let go and faced Nia.

“See you back at the office, Nia!”

And with that, it was just Nia and you. You opened your mouth to speak but nothing came out. Nia places her hand on your shoulder and gave you a confused look.

“What just happened?”

“I saw my sisters for the first time in five years and it didn’t go well.” You sighed as while pinching the bridge of your nose.

"What happened between you guys? I’ve never seen Alex that angry before.”

“It’s a long story but basically, I didn’t agree with their fathers line of work and left the house when I turned eighteen. I never looked back.”

“Y/n-“

“I’m sorry, Nia, but I need to be alone right now. I’ll text you later.”

You kissed your girlfriend’s cheek before quickly exiting Noonan’s. You didn’t know where to go all you knew was that you needed to be far away from anyone for a while.

It was game night at kara's place when she had to go deal with a fire.

"When is kara coming back." Alex whine. "I Need my partner." "I'm sure she'll be back soon. "You say. Just then you're Phone buzzed, Nia looked at the caller ID and laugh. "You still call dad 'daddy'?" She said whilst taking a sip of her drink.

You pick up the phone whilst smirking and looking her dead in the eyes

After that all kara could hear from her side of the phone was commotion.

"Then why are you calling her 'daddy'. And why did you guys bet on top or... bottom." you looked at nia who was completely red from embarrassment " Wait you guys never-" "don't you dare finish that sentence." she said. you held up your hands in a defensive manner whilst laughing

Walking into the restaurant, accompanied by your boyfriend, you scanned the room for the familiar, blonde reporter. Finding the table she was sitting at, you and the heroine exchanged smiles before ushering Clark over to where she sat.

“Kara!” you exclaimed, opening your arms in a hug.

Wrapping her arms around you, she similarly greeted, “It’s so great to see you! It feels like it’s been forever.”

The female kryptonian hugged Clark before sitting down at the table, opposite you and Clark.

“I’m glad that we finally made it out to dinner,” Clark commented, “The only time we ever get to see each other lately is at the DEO.”

Kara agreed, “Yeah, and I don’t think I ever want to visit you both at your apartment ever again.”

You shot her an apologetic smile at the event she was referencing. Kara had found out about you and Clark’s relationship when she unexpectedly came to visit Clark. But unfortunately upon her arrival, she happened to overhear you and her cousin engaging in… not very family friendly, activities in the bedroom.

Ever since then, she has been ecstatic about your relationship, but hesitant about coming over.

You’re sure that you all will eventually get over it. But for now, you’ll check for any surprise visitors before leaving your bedroom while disrobed.

Awkwardly adjusting his glasses, Clark cleared his throat before changing the subject, “Well, it’s great that we’re all together now. We actually have something we wanted to tell you… I think you’ll be excited to hear it.”

Kara glanced between the two of you both, analyzing your giddy expression and Clark’s nervous one. A smile spread across her face before she gasped, “Ohhh Clark, you finally asked her! I can’t believe I wasn’t there. Let me see the rin-”

You gave Kara a puzzled look when she grabbed your left hand to examine it. Before she could finish her sentence, Clark interrupted her, “Kara! It’s not that.”

Kara’s eyes widened at her mishap before gently placing your hand down. “Oh.”

You raised an eyebrow before continuing, “Yeah, it’s not… whatever you thought. But I’m pregnant!”

You paused before furrowing your eyebrows. “Wait… what did you think we were going to tell you?”

Ignoring the last part of your words, Kara gaped before her lips morphed into a grin. “Oh my Rao! That’s amazing! I’m so happy for you both!”

“We’re really excited. You’re actually the first to know,” Clark told her.

You nodded. “Yeah. Oliver, Thea, and everyone else on Earth-1 don’t even know we’re together yet.”

Kara frowned. “Oh, guys. You have to tell them. They’ll be crushed if you start this whole new life without them knowing.”

“I know, I know,” you assured, “But, you know how Oliver is. I just want to figure out a way to tell him where he doesn’t completely flip out.”

Kara nodded understandingly before raising her glass of water. “Well, I’m sure you’ll figure that part out eventually. But for now, a toast. To super-baby!”

You and Clark similarly raised your glasses of water before repeating with a chuckle, “To super-baby!”

Kara quietly clapped her hands together in satisfaction before picking up a menu. “Great! Now, appetizers. With your new baby on the way you might be able to eat as much as Clark and I.”

Clark chuckled, “I’m sure with the baby being part kryptonian, they’ll need as much food as we do.”

You patted your stomach, “Well, I’m very excited if that means I can eat double my weight in food without gaining a pound. Except for baby weight of course.”

And with that, you all ordered triple your combined weight in food and gobbled it all down, much to the concern of your server.

Now with you having told one of you and Clark’s family members, you were less worried about telling the other two. Sure, Oliver and Thea would be surprised by all you were hiding, but they couldn’t stay mad forever. Plus, who could stay mad when in nine months, the world would have, super-baby.

“Guess what just happened?” Jamie says, as soon as you pick up the phone. You hum so she can go on. “The adoption papers went through! I have a new sister!”

“Wow, really?” You smile excited. Kelly had been fostering a young girl with superpowers for a while now, but the adoption hasn’t been formalized until now. Jamie has met her already, but since you have superpowers and Esme can mimic them, Kelly thought it was best for you two to meet once the adoption officially went through. “So I can finally meet her?”

“Yeah! I talked to mami and she talked to my moms-and-well, long story short, they’re going to spend Christmas with us, so Esme can have a really big family Christmas.”

“That’s so great! So you’re all coming?”

“We’re all going!” She squeaks in excitement. “Holy shit, I just realized my family is huge!”

“Between three moms, two sisters and a nephew? Yeah, it’s huge!” You can’t help the little sting you feel in your heart when you think about your family. Just you, Kara and Lena. Of course you love your family more than anything, but you can’t help but think it would be really fun to have a sibling as well. “Ok, well, I gotta go buy a little girl’s gift now. Thanks for the warning! See you later tonight.”

“Oh shit! Me too! See you later!”

You walk down the stairs to the familiar sound of laughter and nice smell of fresh baked cookies filling the air. It seems that National City finally got the memo that it’s Christmas time and it’s slightly colder. Just a little, nothing you and Kara can really feel, and you only notice it when you see Lena wearing a loose cardigan, looking even smaller in it.

“Hey, there she is! Our little elf.” Kara smiles when she notices your elf pajamas, and she opens her arms, excitedly. “Wanna decorate cookies with moms?”

“Sure.” You walk in her embrace, and she tights the hug while kissing your temple. “You guys probably already heard the news.”

“Yeah. Kelly and Esme are coming tonight. We’re making extra cookies now.” She finally lets you go, and you take the hot cookie tray from Lena’s hand.

“It’s hot! It’s hot!” She warns, scared you might get hurt.

“I got it, mom.” You smile, placing it on top of the counter. “See? Can’t get burned.”

“Right. I keep forgetting I live with superheroes.” Lena smiles and hugs you too. You’re taller than her now, so you kiss the top of her head. “Good morning, babygirl.”

“Good morning, mom. You look very pretty today.” Lena’s cheeks instantly blush with the compliment.

“See! I told you!” You hear Kara’s voice in the back.

“She wasn’t lying.” You let go of Lena and kiss her forehead. “Let me decorate the cookies. We all know I’m the best at it.”

“You wish.” Kara complains softly, earning a laugh from both you and Lena.

You three sit back on the dinner table, trying to decorate the cookies better than the other while Kara hums Christmas songs absent-mindedly.

“Did you guys already buy Esme gifts?” You ask, raising your head to both of them, and Lena agrees with her head.

“Your momma went a little crazy at the kid’s store. That girl will open gifts until next Christmas.”

To that Kara sticks her tongue out. “Well, you paid for them. I’d say it’s both of us fault.”

Lena shrugs with a smile on her face, and you breathe deep.

“I wish I had a sister.” It’s out of your mouth before you notice.

Lena raises her head up to you, brows quirking down in confusion. She heard you and definitely took you seriously. Kara, on the other hand, strokes your back lightly and gives you a smile.

“Oh please, you only say that now. I bet you would hate to share us with someone else.”

You smile thinking about it. You do love having your moms all to yourself. “Yeah. I would hate for you to be calling some other kid your heart.”

“See.” She kisses your forehead. “You and you alone are my entire heart.”

Lena clears her throat raising her eyebrows when you two look at her.

“You are our heart, mom.” You throw your arms around her, and she smiles.

“Well, that’s more like it.”

The rest of the day is spent organizing the house for the guests. Lena made you clean your room so thoroughly you are suspecting she is going to serve dinner on your bed.

Your godmother is the first one to arrive. She came earlier to help Lena with dinner while Kara flies to Midvale and picks up your grandmother. The rest of the Danvers get a while later and you and Jamie run to your room to exchange gifts.

Christmas time is a time for several traditions. And Rao, you love those traditions. There’s the top of the tree star tradition, where the youngest member of the family places the star on top of the tree just before the dinner. And by the youngest member you mean you. For sixteen years now, it’s been your job to put the star on top.

Then there’s the usual gift exchange between you and Jamie. You two started this one because you couldn’t wait until the next morning to open the gifts. So you’d choose one to give it to her, and she’d choose one for you and you would have something to play with during the night.

Then there is the turkey carving. It’s not really a tradition but you love seeing everyone trying to carve the turkey and giving up until Kara does it. You would hate it if someone else didn’t try it first.

And you can’t forget about your grandmother’s famous chocolate pecan pie. She usually brings three. Two for everyone in the family and another one just for you and Kara. Well, mainly Kara. She becomes almost feral when you try to eat more than her.

“JAMIE!” Alex yells from downstairs the second Jamie was giving you your gift. “Your mami and Esme are here!”

“Oh! I gotta go!” Jamie throws your gift at your face and thank Rao you have superspeed or it would’ve hit your eye.

“Ow.” You complain, nonetheless. There’s no point in opening a gift when both of you aren’t together, so you make your way downstairs as well.

Kelly is kneeled by the door, slowly introducing Esme to everyone so it doesn’t get overwhelming. You keep smiling wide while she goes around doing introductions. Esme is adorable.

“Your powers are very cool, Kara!” She says excitedly and you smile at the compliment. Sure it wasn’t directed at you, but you do have the same powers.

“And that is my friend Lena.” Kelly points at your mom, who immediately lowers her face to look at Esme.

“You’re very pretty.” Esme says to your mom, and you can see Lena making heart eyes at her.

“Hey, that’s my line!” You complain in the back, hoping no one can hear you, but Sam throws her arms around your neck and pulls you closer.

“Are you seriously jealous of a 5-year-old?” She whispers in your ear.

“No,” You scoff. “Why would I be?”

“Thank you. So are you.” Lena says and you feel the sting of jealousy Sam’s being accusing you of. And you only realize that because you feel like pushing Esme to the side and standing in front of Lena like, ‘but I’m prettier, right?’. Which is stupid. She is five. But hey! Lena is your mom.

“Yeah, ok.” Sam’s thumb goes to the middle of your eyebrows, and she eases up the place. “Crinkle. You’re far too young for that.”

You roll your eyes and move closer to Lena, holding her hand. “Hi Esme, welcome to the family.”

“You have the same powers Kara has.” She points out and you agree with your head.

“That’s ‘cause she is my daughter.” Kara smiles widely, patting your shoulder.

Everyone moves to the living room, except for Lena and Sam who are busy still finishing up dinner. You follow them into the kitchen, still holding Lena’s hand.

“Baby, you can go to the living room. I’ll call if I need help, ok?” Lena kisses your forehead, but you don’t move.

“Nah, I’m ok. I’ll stay with you guys.” You smile at her. She agrees with a nod, but Sam raises an eyebrow at you, still too knowing.

“Ok, but um-” Lena raises her hand and yours, still intertwined. “I’ll need my hand to cook.”

“Oh,” You show her your free hand. “Don’t worry. I got you.”

She laughs, kissing your forehead one more time. “Go, weirdo! Go hang out with your cousins.”

Unwillingly, you let go of her hand and make your way to the living room and you’re greeted excitedly when you arrive.

“Hey, there she is! Come here and tell us about your powers.” Alex asks and you move closer, sitting on the couch next to your grandmother. She throws her arms around you with a sweet smile.

“My powers?” You ask, confused. “What about it?”

“When you first got your powers,” Kelly asks you, and you think about the moment. “What was the easiest to control?”

You think about when you got your powers. The week, the day exactly. You remember the feeling. The agonizing, paralyzing feeling.

It wasn’t super hearing, that’s for sure. When your powers came you used to hear everything. It was hard to focus on people in front of you. Every voice was too loud. You’d hear people speaking other languages like they were right next to you. You couldn’t sleep for a week because it was so loud inside your brain.

It sure wasn’t heat vision, as well. It was obviously never intentional, but any mood swing, any little thing that would upset you, would just fire it away. You can’t count how many things were broken or burned down because of it. It wasn’t until Kara gave you your glasses that it stopped. But whenever you were without it, you weren’t really in control.

Flying wasn’t easy. It was a great effort to not just float away. You had to keep looking to the ground to make sure your feet were touching it, because your body felt 10 times lighter.

Don’t even get started on super strength. Everything you touched was smashed into pieces. Every door had the handle bent. Kara had to be constantly replacing things around your house for a couple of months. You didn’t dare to touch anyone, aside from her, for months, until you were sure a single hug wouldn’t break their bones. You almost shattered Lena’s ribs once; you went months scared of even breathing the same air as her.

Air. Freeze breath was a nightmare. You would wake up to your bedroom looking like the freaking North Pole. Trying to unfreeze all of your stuff in the morning was tough.

Super speed wasn’t easy as well, at first you thought the world was slowing down. Sure, Lena’s scolds felt less intimidating when she was in slow motion, but everything else was so lazy it was annoying. Time wouldn’t pass, which means you broke more stuff, burned more things, froze more places, made Lena more upset and Kara more worried.

“Ummm,” so you think about what to say. “Invincibility was great. Not breaking bones or being able to die no matter how many stupid things I would do.”

“Ok, any superpower Esme could try and mimic?” Alex asks and you look at your grandmother. She has a soft smile on her face of someone who completely believes in you. You look away.

“I’m really not the best person for it.” You fall farther into the couch, curling yourself to make you look smaller. “I’m just now really in control of my powers and I-I still mess up.”

It’s been a while since you messed up, that’s for sure. Still. Teaching a little kid how to control her powers is really not your area of expertise. It was just last year that you were training with Kara and learning how to use all your power at the same time.

“Maybe it’s best if we ask Kara to help her.” Alex says and Kelly agrees with her head. You clench your jaw not wanting Kara to help Esme with her powers. Another sting of jealousy hitting you hard on the heart. Why should she have to help Esme? Kara is your momma. She is only supposed to help you.

“We can do that after dinner.” Lena says, walking into the living room. “Dinner is ready, shall we go eat?”

“Yeah!” Jamie is the first to stand up, but everyone else follows her right after.

“Wait, wait.” You look at the tree and the lack of star on top. “We have to put the star first.”

“That’s right.” Kara agrees, showing up with the star in hand. “Would you like to do the honors?”

You smile widely, almost saying yes, before Kara puts the star on Esme's hands. “Me?”

“It’s tradition. The youngest member of the family gets to do it.” Kara explains and it dawns you. You are no longer the youngest, cutest, or most powerful kid in the family.

“Let me help you, honey.” Kelly raises Esme until she reaches the top of the tree, and she puts the star on top.

Huh.

So much for traditions.

Everyone makes their way to the kitchen, but you stay stuck in place staring at the bright star on top.

“Hey.” You hear Kara’s voice, and you turn your face to the door. “We’re waiting for you to start eating.”

“You can start without me. I’ll be there in a few.” You smile, clearly trying to push her away, and you turn your face to the tree again.

Kara leaves and your heart drops a little in your chest. Couldn’t she see you obviously didn’t mean it?

“I think it’s a little crooked.” You hear Lena’s voice on your side and feel her hand on yours. “Don’t you?”

“A little.” You agree. Kara makes her way to the tree, taking the star off the top and bringing it back to you.

“Maybe you should put it. You have years and years of practice.” She says handing you the star and you fight the smile off your lips.

“Are you sure? I’m not the youngest member of the family anymore.” You say with the little sting of jealousy showing in your voice.

“You will always be my little one.” She kisses your temple, and Lena gives your hand a squeeze before letting it go so you can move.

You make your way to the tree and put the star perfectly on top. Your moms have the biggest smile looking at you, and you wonder why you were feeling jealous in the first place. You have them all to yourself. No need to share. Ever.

“Merry Christmas, my baby.” Lena says when you come back, and she kisses your hand before holding it again.

“Shall we go have dinner?” Kara asks, holding your other hand. “I can’t wait for dessert.”

“Of course you can’t.” You and Lena say in unison and laugh together.

The rest of the night is a lot easier without the jealousy that was taking over you. It’s a lot easier to enjoy Esme and the fact that your family is ever growing without turning yourself into the Grinch who stole Christmas.

Tolerate it - Part 1

Notes: This is my first reader x character fanfiction, I’m sorry if i have any mistakes. If you have any feedback, comments or requests I would gladly received it. Thank you for reading, I hope you like it, its going to be a multiple chapter series.

Lena Luthor x reader, Kara Danvers x reader, Alex Danvers x reader. Baby Danvers.

Some people dream of their lives as they are growing up and after a few years are able to conquer them. Others dream the same way but are chosen to follow a different path in which some things ended up way different than they expected. 

Begin the younger member of the Danvers had put you always in tough shoes to fill since you were a kid. Kara was 3 years older than you and Alex was 4.

You were only 10 when Kara came into the family but the two of you found similar likings a difference from Alex, warming up easily. After a time the three of you fell like three peas in a pot in your worst and best times for each one of you.

And like all the people all of you had dreams Alex always wanted to be like your Mom and Dad, as she protected her younger siblings. Kara wanted to bring people joy and justice, she wanted to do the right thing.

And you, your dream were complicated, you wanted to stay behind a camera, a guitar, or behind a kitchen, You wanted to be able to bring entertainment and joy to people's faces. Sadly the other difference between your sisters and you were that they conquer their dream and you, on the other hand, didn't.

It’s not that you don't enjoy what you do, or are not happy. You are okay and satisfied with your life at the moment. That is why you are currently at work, making in Kara’s words ‘The best pastries in the world’.

The abundant smell of fresh coffee and sugary bakery, invaded the shop every day. The soft sunlight that came through the window illuminated the place, every morning and afternoon. The soft jazz music in the background creating a relaxing vibe that will go on all day.

You heard the jingle of the doorbell as you decorated with the pastry bag, quickly cleaning your hands. You spoke up as you looked up to see a beautiful green-eyed black-haired woman. “Hi”

The black-haired woman smiled and responded. You were going into a panic, accidentally clinging to the decorating pastry bag making some of it to your face. The texture of the cream begins soft, and unexpected making you gain your posture “Hello there”

“Sorry, good afternoon, Welcome to JJ’s. How can I help you?” You said while smiling as you cleaned your face, the black-haired woman softly smiled as you did so.

The green-eyed said as her eyes ranked over the menu and the refrigerator and back to you before responding.“I'm looking for some pastries for a girls night, what do you recommend?”

“Personally I recommend the tiramisu, the lemon pie, and if you are going all out then the Hershey chocolate cheesecake which is personally my favorite. One of my sisters has a really big appetite and the other is picky so this is my to-go order for sister night” You ramble out as you showed her the options. 

The Luthor woman softly smiles as she spoke while walking back to the register. “Okay then please give me a complete unit of each one, darling”

You stood there, observing her facial features as she played. She was calm and relaxed; it was something you noticed right away. The only makeup she had was a soft lip gloss on her lips. Her eyebrows were relaxed. Her straight hair was in a ponytail. And her eyes were memorizing, her right eye began a soft green with a little of blue and her left eye began a greener brownish. You were sure she was the prettiest girl you have ever seen.

Her face felt familiar to someone who was familiar, there must be a few seconds before you came to reality to realize she caught your glance and returned you the beaming smile you had.

“Okay, okay over and out” You spoke as you walked to get her order ready.

In a moment you remember you never asked for her name, so you had to rush out from the other side of the place to where she was now seated. “I kinda need your name, sorry I forgot”

“Lena” She answered

“Then it's a pleasure Lena” You countered back before heading to the kitchen again to make her order.

Her name, her smile, her eyes were all of you could think so the whole day.

The encounter was simple, just her being a client in the bakery, not anything else. That’s the way you need to treat it because you knew after a few love encounters you weren’t made for love.

It was Friday and you were knocking on your sister’s apartment. It was rare for you to have free time, with two jobs one being a music teacher and the other being a pastry chef.

A difference from your sisters, you didn’t have a boss that would pay you more than the low income, and well to survive in National City you need it to have them both.

“Hey sis, is the invitation still open?” You spoke up when you saw Kara’s face with a beaming smile opening the door. The smell of pizza and beer invaded the apartment. 

“Of course, it is buttercup,” Alex said as she beat Kara while grabbing the beer and the cupcakes.

The blonde just hugged you and spun you around, Alex protested. Even though she did the same.

“You are not going to believe what happens, I was working which thankfully I got out earlier than I thought and I met the prettiest girl I've ever seen in my life, Rao her eyes were green, not a sad green, no, no, a green of nature and trees, yes trees, like kryptonite and her smile, Rao her smile was enough to light up the whole room” You ramble as you grabbed Alex beer walking backward finding your way to the couch without looking at your surroundings.

“Let me guess you chicken out and didn't ask her out?” Alex scoffed, as she rolled her eyes. Making Kara laugh and you to pout.

“Yeah-” Before jumping in your back to the couch you said stopping when you felt your head hitting someone’s lap as Kara and Alex spoke up at the same time getting interrupted by your head hitting the person.

“Butter-“

“Y/N-“

When you looked up to see the memorizing eyes and soft smile you were talking about, you immediately felt to your side, groaning in pain when your head hits the floor.

“Hi” Lena immediately reached out to you, giving you her hand. You looked up to the woman and whispered when both of your glances connected.

“Hello, I didn't catch your name” The Luthor woman smiled teasingly before speaking as she helped get up.

While Kara was stuffing herself with your cupcakes, the older Danvers gasped as she connected the dots. “Holy shit”

After a small scold from Alex, Kara went by your side to check on you. The glance between you and Lena stayed, making Kara smile widely as she took another cupcake.“Oh, you two know each other?”

“You could say so” Lena responded calmly, as she winked and smiled at you before walking to the kitchen to grab more wine, leaving you speechless and completely embarrassed at the couch and Kara with a small frown.

Intro: Hi again, lovelies! This is just a small piece that I wrote out today, hope you enjoy!!

Note: Angst... I’m sorry, blame @x-danvers-x 😉. Also, got the idea from this song from the Frozen 2 soundtrack lol

It happened… The one thing they were determined to keep from happening… You were gone and there was nothing they could do “What happened?” Alex asked as they looked at your broken body, her desperately trying to think of you as the energetic little sibling that you always were and trying to not let this take over her memories of you “They were trying to protect a hostage… Took the blow to the head and back instead” the D.E.O agent said, him having been on your team when it all went down.

It was supposed to be a simple rescue situation, Alex never thought it would’ve costed you your life otherwise she would’ve never let you go “How am I going to tell Kara?” Alex whispered to herself as she leaned over her desk, her having gone straight to her office to be able to break down in silence after she saw your body “Tell Kara what?” Kara asked as she opened the door, Alex mentally cursing her sister and her superhearing before turning and looking at her, trying to stop the sobs that wanted to break through “Alex, what happened?” Kara asked, starting to panic since she hasn’t seen her sister act like this before and quickly going over to her.

“They’re gone” Alex whispered, looking down at her shoes and sniffling some, trying to avoid Kara’s gaze since she felt like this was her fault, she shouldn’t have sent you out on the mission “What? Who?” Kara asked, trying to meet Alex’s eyes and furrowing her brows when Alex refused “Alex, who’s gone?” Kara asked, speaking slightly louder since she wanted to know “Y/N… The mission… They’re gone” Alex cried, finally looking at Kara who looked shocked and shook her head as tears built up in her eyes “No… No” Kara cried, not wanting it to be true and not wanting to believe it before she supersped out of Alex’s office, leaving Alex to crumple to the ground as she broke down.

When Kara made it to medbay, she walked straight to where your body was “Kara, wait you don’t-“ the doctor said, but not able to stop her as she ripped open the curtain that was hiding you from view, her freezing when she saw your broken form, limp and unmoving “No” Kara said softly, rushing over to you and covering her mouth with her hand when she saw the blow you took to the head “Y/N… Sweetheart, no” she cried, reaching out to touch you before she pulled her hand back “I should’ve been there” she said softly.

After a few days, Alex didn’t leave her office the entire time “Alex, it’s not your fault” Kara said, leaning against Alex’s office door and her just as upset with your death but she was trying to push through, standing up when she heard Alex walking towards the door “How are we going to keep going without them?” Alex asked softly after she opened the door, looking at Kara with her tear-streaked face and her eyes red from crying “I don’t know, but the first step is their funeral” Kara said, holding her hand out for Alex who took it and gave it a squeeze “Just take a step, we’ll find the right way to go” she promised, leading Alex towards the exit; the two of them knowing it was going to be a hard and long road, but they were going to keep going… For you.
