This is a Turmeric and Herb Tuna Salad Dip I whipped up to go with Almond and Toasted Sesame Seed Crackers that I also made. It is all keto friendly and packed with protein and healthy fats.
I haven’t been posting much lately because it’s been a lot of taco bowls, eggs, and bunless burgers. Today I decided to make some egg salad and caraway seed “cheese-it” type crackers. The dough is made from a blend of cheddar and jack cheese, almond flour and salt. I didn’t measure but if I had to guess it was around a cup of shredded cheese and 1/3 cup of almond flour. I also added around 1/2 Tbs of caraway seeds and sea salt. Between parchment paper I rolled the hough our thin then cut into squares poked a few holes in them, sprinkled with sea salt and baked at 335°F until golden. Let them cool completely. They’re crispy and delicious. Leave out the caraway for plain or add any other herbs & spices. So good. Pulled jerk pork roast on a #Sisketo loaf bun (#ketoyeastbread ) with avocado, homemade gravy and mustard. Side kale and spinach salad with #Renees dressing and nutritional yeast (B vitamins for stress) and a few pumpkin seeds and kalamata olives for fat and sodium. Onto the evening with trying a new tailspin drink (not as good as the blackberry flavor imo). Doug made amazing spicy sweet wings with brown #Swerve and spices galore. I tried a new cracker idea with 3 flavors: sesame, plain and chia. I would release the recipe today but I want to play around with it a bit more. I found the Chia ones were very crunchy and thin From absorbing the water so I want to play around without a bit more and make them cheesier and crunch here and spicier. I’m a big fan of using nutritional yeast for a cheese flavor and antistress vitamins. Last night was a really good night for Doug and I as a couple. We had a really great time together and are ready to brave the stores today for normal supplies, no panic shopping here. Lovely! Lovely! Lovely! I like them so much. Flaky & crisp. The crunch is fantastic, yet easy on your teeth! I ate mine dipped in white QUESO! You can pump up the flavours by adding a little bit of cayenne, smoked paprika, or cumin. Adjust it to your liking.
After you roll it out sprinkle over with some sesame or sea salt – that’s really yum too!

I had one of my most delicious cracker batches ever yesterday! So crispy and flavorful. Also had an amazing dinner. I had a kinda-type of Greek salad with toasted walnuts and asparagus added in. My daughter and son wanted a veggie platter that my daughter cut up herself and chicken bites with keto-dorito seasoning (I’ll post recipe soon). Lunch was grilled cheese with spinach and avocado. Went on my first bike ride in years with my dad and my kids and it was super fun.
