tried time blocking in my bujo last night, made a mistake, did not have white-out on me (or the will to re-write everything), so resorted to google calendar. it's a packed day today. idk if i can do it all. we shall see. i am tired. note to self to be in bed by 10 if i wanna wake up at 8. not 11 bc i don't fall asleep right away. update: OMG YOU GUYS!!! I FINALLY ALMOST MADE IT TO THE END OF 8H OF STUDYING - I TOOK THE BREAKS AND EVERYTHING 🙌🏻🥳🙌🏻🥳🙌🏻 it would've been really cool to finish the 30 mins left but i'm pooped and sleeping now >> half-focusing and half-understanding. also i don't think i can survive studying 8h a day every day...i would burn out very quickly.

rly wish male athletes would stop treating their wives and children as props for the sole benefit of their own well-being and sports career. like idk how to phrase this well but in that six nations show the sheer number of guys crediting their wives and kids for making them behave better/ have a more holistic view on life, “my children love me no matter how bad I play” like. smth abt banking on the unconditional love of children while you’re being an absent father bc of your job is crazy 😭😭😭

#tbf j should take male athletes out of this and just say lots of men … bc it’s so prominent #like even before my parents divorced my dad was like this 🤣 maybe that’s why the approach annoys me #like allll these guys leaving their wives at home to look after the kids most of the time #and only talk abt their families as a device to use to destress or WHATEVER #idk I’m probs reading too much into it but the fact that literally every guy interviewed who had a partner or kids said that like #idk maybe example of poor mens mental health if were being generous and an insular upbringing with only sport as the focus #but that interview of Owen not even knowing where his kids were 😭😭 while his dad (equally involved with the match that week as a coach) was #traipsing the kids around his opposing teams training ground? 😭#clearly a product of an approach which is like ‘no kids on game weekends’#like if the poor kids were gonna be on a training ground anyway that weekend 😭😭#oh and LITERALLY treating the kids as props when parading them around before and after matches idk man #the kids I knew who’s dads played pro rugby didn’t much enjoy being scared their dad could get permanent brain damage every week #the second they were old enough they mostly stopped going to watch matches ..

#everytime i open this app it looks completely different #anyways heres a lil update rant tired blabbering tags post cause why nottttt #so my health is shit and i have about 300 test to get done and i honestly am so stressed out over this that i cant even function #and u know whats funny about it all is i originally went to the doc to maybe get diagnosed with adhd and i was which duh but thennnn #the funniest thing happened #took the meds and i was actually feeling a lot better and more productive! who knew thats an option but then my dic was like #we should do an ekg just to make sure youre good to take these #so obviously my hr was super high which let to more tests and more experts and haha i cant do this anymore its exhausting #so i cant take my adhd meds and i have an appointment every other day for the next month #oh and btw when i was feeling better for like a week or two i started dating again cause why not! do not have enough going on atm #met this guy been on a few dates but its nothing really i guess right cause i cant get myself to kiss him even tho i want to #cause im so scared of intimacy and so scared of being vulnerable so he's probably gonna ditch soon cause why wouldn't he and #what am i doing trying to date when i have these issues #i just want something good yknow im so tired and i just need like a good cuddle #im gonna be visiting my brother in January after 3 years of not seeing him and the kids but thats obviously stressing me out too #cause covid and planes and big sad but idk we'll see if it wont get cancelled like my last trip did #good rant ty tumblr for not shutting down yet #personal #update i have an autoimmune disease and 300 more tests to do and pills to take #fun to be me
