I find it so funny (and it sometimes makes me jealous) how I spend whole days in a lab, constantly sit at the computer writing lab reports, reading research papers, making presentations etc. while all of my friends study design and all they do at school is play, scribble and play again.

(don't get me wrong tho, good for them, I'm happy they're enjoying it)

I had sushi yesterday with my partner and got my favourite mentaiko sauce on the cooked items. 🍙 (My stomach cannot handle raw food sadly so no sashimi :c) Afterwhich, I went to listen to a research seminar and attended my lab session to check on my cells. There are growing pretty well I would say! 😄

My supervisor was really nice and has taught me a lot on how to handle the cells properly. I had to write up a manual for all the stuff he taught me for record purposes as well. But I do find it rather necessary as we are mainly conversing in our mother tongue, which I don't normally use when I am talking to anyone in the lab. So I am pretty glad there was this system in place to ensure I am understanding the information correctly! I didn't really do much after my lab ended when I got home as I am extremely exhausted and was supposed to have an early morning the next day but...

I slept past my alarm. By an hour. I had to rush to wash up and do my hair in 30 minutes without eating any food, except lozenges for my throat/cough. I managed to make it to my lecture hall kinda in time... I was late by 5 minutes but the professor was still doing the course introduction. So thank goodness for that. 🫣 Honestly glad to not be missing this class as I loved this module to bits. Second image was taken in my lecture hall. Since I was late, I felt bad to sit at the back, so I sat near the front of the professor. 🫥

After my lecture, I met with my partner again for lunch and headed to my school area for a short session to write up my lab manual and some key observations for my project so future me won't be dumb enough to do the steps incorrectly and risk re-culturing all the cells again. I will be heading to the lab again tomorrow after my lectures to do more lab training. 🦠 I am honestly kinda surprised that mammalian cells are quite easy to work with. (for now. This is my current impression. I feel like I might take these words back some time in future.) Hoping for tomorrow's session to be smoothsailing! ❤️💙

P.S. my old laptop died so I got a new laptop! Praying it will survive long! My old laptop lasted me 5 years before it died of multi-organ failure (AKA wifi card died, USB port all failed, keyboard malfunctioning, hinge for screen wobbly, trackpad having issues registering, audio port failure, and more... yep, I call it multi-organ failure 🥲)

In these days, I’m knackered because I’ve been studying late to finish the lab report, and the chilly, overcast weather outside doesn’t help my mood.

I like autumn, but not when I’m already low on energy! 🥵

Two days left (well more like 1 and a half) but anyways not long left till the deadline of the assignment. I just finished the results section and also did the conclusion and future studies paragraph!!! The results took me a day and a half to analyse. Thank god for @decepticon-reg for helping me use the stats test on the data. God bless them!

I've done some small explanations for each graph i used and made sure the legends were actually images just in case my lecturer includes them into the word count and marks me down even though it shouldn't be a part of it [life hacks :) ]

Tomorrow will be dedicated to the intro and discussion (intro first because I need all the literature before writing up my discussion. Have no idea what my hypothesis will but I can just wing it hopefully. Wish me luck <3

DONKEY WONKEY 5/23

Bad Hypothesis: If I send my ex this public domain photo of a donkey [Appendix A] with the text “donkey wonkey”, he will take my light-hearted message as a personal slight, fall into a deep ponderation of our time together, and ultimately regret our separation.

Chaotic Method:

1. Get into a 4-year committed relationship.

2. Love each other deeply but decide to amicably split.

3. Grieve.

4. Notice you’re somewhat weirder than them and were the whole time.

4. Feel a hint of wanting their attention while simultaneously enjoying being single and thinking “we’re all friends here”.

5. Locate a public domain picture of a donkey. But don’t look up ass. Have some class.

6. Send it to the ex through text message.

7. Follow up later if there is no response.

Chaotic Results: No response. Later, somewhat forgetting my goal here, I sent them a funny video. They replied to that. We proceeded to have a full conversation. ‘Perfect,’ I think, ‘they will mention the donkey soon’. No such time came. During the text conversation I asked whether they had any feelings about my donkey meme. I clarified that it’s for science and refreshed them on the facts: It was a picture of a donkey and I said: Donkey wonkey. They replied "Oh I remember it all right. Wish I could forget…". After telling them about my project and thanking them for participating in our research (because I’m ethical), they simply hit me with "Lmao bro..".

Bad Limitations: I should’ve just left donkey wonkey be, leave donkey wonkey free.

Chaotic Future Research: Perhaps a pelican welican would be better. Or maybe chose better ex?

Bad Conclusion: We are still broken up. It’s okay though. Donkey wonkey fulfills me. And a lover who can’t appreciate that is no good to me.

Chaotic Recommendations: Try this at home* if your ex has a sense of humour. Otherwise, don’t be that guy pal you’re not that guy pal we’re all donkey wonkeys.

*Home being the broken home of the life you created together. Now you must return to your own lives. Having gained a lot and only losing what could’ve been.

Additionally, introducing a weapon or any lethal substance in his room will be seen as an attempt to harm 00 and will be punished by death.

If 00 were to kill anybody, the death will be covered as an accident under life threatening circumstances. Any personnel attempting to use 01 as a weapon will be harshly punished.

The assumption of 00’s mutism has been proven false.

He is able of communication but certain conditions must be met before he can start a proper talk. As of now, only one person from the staff was able to talk to him and the criteria needed to communicate have yet to be discovered.

00 may be related to 01. The veracity of that information is to be determined.

Unlike 01, 00 has always been hostile and wary of mankind ever since the beginning and lashes out easily when an individual he deems as a threat approaches him or 01. As aggressive as he is, he has not yet killed anyone who didn’t deserve it. He seems to hold back against humans, many seem to think it is thanks to 01’s influence that none of the staff, save for the instigator of the accident, was killed.

00’s intelligence is one that the world has not yet seen. Out of all creatures protected by the Celestial Conservation Division, 00 may be the smartest one of the bunch.

His soul is shaped after a black apple, characteristic of corrupts. He is the counterpart of 01.

He mostly stays in his passive form but turns without hesitation when danger arises. When this happens, his right eye is covered by a goop veil that behaves like acid while the left one changes from a violet color to a cold turquoise color. Tendrils also appear from his back, it is plausible that we have not yet seen his full potential as we know that corrupts can create up to four tendrils when he was only seen with two of them.

He can sense when the other is in danger or in pain, which makes him go berserk when 01’s pain reaches a certain level. Whether the 01 can do this as well or not is still to be determined.

He has always been protective of 01 but that protectiveness only amplified after the accident.

How corrupts are produced is still unknown.

It’s the first time that his negativity stat has reached 100%. Due to the nature of his power, his shield’s stats are lower than the others but he is able to compensate that with the perfect control he has over his power.

With stats like those, it is no wonder that Doctor Hate was unrecognisable when we retrieved what was left of his corpse.

However, I did note the presence of misplaced laughter during the examination. It doesn’t quite point to a problem per se but vigilance is still strongly advised.

00 will be taken to the medical wing as fast as possible for consultation.

As expected, 00 has excelled in every subject but has failed the emotional control test. Every request I’ve submitted for 00 to bypass the Emotional Response Test, the Physical Control Under Pressure Test and the Emotional Control Test have been denied.

I do really think it would be better for 00’s well-being to stop being administered these tests. Now if only you would try to consider the consequences these sort of tests have on them instead of only caring about your own needs, that would be a great beginning.
