Cody is the type of guy to adopt an old, scraggly looking cat. He isn't going to, but then he hears someone in his building is moving, and they can't keep their cat, so either someone takes it or they get rid of it. And Cody reluctantly gets pressured into taking it.

And at first they're roommates, sometimes he talks to it like it's a person. "Ripley, where is my phone? C'mon old girl, you saw me with it."

But then the cat gets used to him, and suddenly, he sits at night watching TV with this cat sitting on the arm of the chair next to him. "You see that? Unrealistic. You'd have to stick the knife deeper for it to bleed that much." "Meow."

But then, one random night, he's had a bad day. He's frustrated and annoyed at everyone and everything. He's sitting with his feet up on the table in front of him, and he's scowling. Then these little paws start stepping across his abdomen, and he stares down at the cat in bewilderment as it curls up on his abdomen and falls asleep. He gives her a little scratch behind the ear, and she purrs rather loudly.

After that, it becomes a nightly tradition.

Eventually, she gets out of his apartment and finds her way to a kind stranger and befriends him. When this kind stranger brings her back, Cody and this kind, friendly, and rather handsome stranger start getting along. A couple of months later, Obi-Wan wakes up in Cody's bed to see Ripley, the little old lady, sitting on his chest staring him down.

Got a kofi to draw what I want so I decided to do a comic! I always really loved this scene from Nona the Ninth for some reason (I love Wake) and so here’s an interpretation of it. I challenged myself to only take the same time on it as I would a single page kofi (tho I still went over a bit) so it’s more painterly than usual, but it was a cool thing to try and do :>

I love this recurring theme that wherever Crosshair goes, he is doomed to connect emotionally to someone and make friends even though he hates everyone. He is gonna be surrounded by people who love him and you bet your ass he is going to complain about it.

As someone who is genderfae (microlabel under genderfluid), I have a lot of different experiences with gender.

I just wish someone told me sooner that it won't go like "today I'm a girl" "today I'm an enby" but more like ,,, "today I am a swamp witch" "today I am a feminine victorian vampire boy" "today I am a forest goblin collecting people's stares about my gender expression like shiny rocks on the ground" "today I'm an androgynous pirate lady"

Like,,, sure, are those real genders? I don't fucking now. If a cisgender person asked me what I identify as that day, would I answer like that? No, definitely not.

But to my genderqueer, trans and genderfluid friends; do you get me? I can't be alone with this, right?

Aziraphale and blasphemy

You know what I find hilarious? When Aziraphale and Crowley see God talking to Job we have this little exchange:

Aziraphale: "Oh, my God." Crowley (not yet seeing what is happening): "Blasphemy, angel? That's not like... you.". Aziraphale (pointing out literal God): "No look! Oh... My God!"

From this conversation we can conclude that both Aziraphale and Crowley consider it blasphemy to "use the Lord's name in vain" (the 3rd commandment).

Well, but you know when Aziraphale does it again? And this time for real? That's right! Paris ⬇️

Which leads us to Aziraphale's perfectly sensible list of reasons to break God's commandments:

Doing the right thing (which includes debating complicated moral questions to justify the decision and then still beating himself up about it afterwards)

Crowley in that outfit
