Girl Fatally Hurt in Motor Car Crash
---
Special to The Star
London, Ont., Oct. 19 - Two youths were committed for trial on manslaughter charges in the highway killing of Miss Olive Coonan of Stratford, fatally injured at Silvan, September. They are William John Johnson, 17, West Williams, and Grant Pickard, 23, of St. Mary’s.
Johnson is alleged to have admitted being the hit and run driver who off after his car crashed with that in which Miss Coonan was riding with Pickard at the wheel. Both Pickard and Johnson had been held on charges of criminal negligence.
Johnson’s bail of $3,000 was renewed. Pickard was required to post an additional $2,500.
Danny was born with synesthesia, something he was not diagnosed with until he became a ghost. He was simply not aware that others do not experience reality in the same way that he does.
He had the quality of being able to see sounds and feelings. The first time he found out about it was during her battle with Ember, when he noticed small colored ghosts that were screaming, but when he mentioned it to the ghost she just looked at him in confusion.
The second time was when his parents yelled at Phantom, and he saw a distorted version of his fears in the air before running away.
The third time was when he developed his wail, the vision of the portal over the sound waves was too much and he decided to tell Jazz, who told him about the condition, telling him that she expected it, taking into account that the condition was hereditary and Jack Fenton had a lighter version of it by seeing colored numbers in his equations.
Now, his condition wasn't common, but it wasn't that strange either. However, sometimes he would see things that he wondered if they were private.
That's why after moving to Gotham he couldn't help but want to comfort Red Hood after watching him yelling at Batman. The blurry shadow of an injured boy in colorful clothing kept flashing in his mind.
not me seeing a post being all “uwu traumatized baby :( he didn’t mean to hurt stelmane” about the emperor.
i’m sorry i know mindflayers are inherently fucked up but you are not seriously looking at a character who took a woman, broke her brain, and played house with her body and alluded to their relationship maybe being something more as ~~oh poor thing it was an accident :(
if you’re mean to the emperor, he threatens you with that same fucking fate. you can like a character without trying to interpret a really fucked up horrifying thing done to someone that removed all body autonomy & consent from her as a simple accident. dude was playing with stelmane like a fucking ragdoll holy shit.
“the emperor wants you to be illithid like him bc he’s lonely and knows he can hurt you” right like ascended astarion wants you to become vampire spawn because he loves and cares about you
My boss and I have moved computers out of the way between our desks so we can lean to the side and stare at each other whenever we hear something completely unhinged from the customers at the self-service printing area like:
Hey sans have you seen interstellar? I think you would like it :-)
way ahead of you there, pal. actually, it's one of the few movies that made their way down to the underground. a friend asked me if i wanted to watch it together since she knew it was "my thing". hey, she was right. that being said, i'm, uh... never watching it again.
almost 4am can't stop thinking about the meaning of the idiom 'to have blood on [someone's] hands'—to be responsible for a person's death—combined with the fact that Zach is the one we are specifically shown with Daryl's actual blood on his hands (once for real and once in a dream)... Not Josh who had been holding the sword Daryl fell onto, but Zach who took the sword out.
like it’s VERY very important to not text and drive. and i understand how dangerous it is to do that and to be distracted at all in any way for any amount of time on the road. i know it’s important to learn about these stories and bear witness to them. but i just think. like idk. watching multiple of them every day for 10 days (with a two day break halfway through for the weekend) is realy… like idk. i think after seeing a couple you can get the point. i don’t want to sound dismissive or lackadaisacal and im scared im sounding like that but i just am so freaked out by all of this and witb every new horror they’re showing us it’s scaring me worse.

I won't let this pull me overboard”
Christopher “Kit” Enfield 11th of March 1888 - ??? 1918
Kit has turned into a favourite of mine even though he has been here for a short while. His story is tragic but even with all the angst, he’s so lovable and funny and I just adore his face. He fights so hard for his life and it’s such a shame how Ren gets to him in the end. He doesn’t want to die but he’s not strong enough to fight back. That dying scene haunts me. This video about the main relationships of his life. His love story and bond with Ares, marriage and long friendship with Odessa and the difficult relationship with his brother Melv. Though most of all it’s a video of his own fight.
I’ve wanted to use this song for him for ever since creating his story and now felt like a fitting time to do so. (It’s also fitting in a more literal sense since Kit can’t swim well). As many of you have probably noticed, I haven’t been making videos lately. I’m taking a little break in hopes of finding some passion for it again. This video was made some time ago and I wasn’t completely happy with it after finishing... I’m still not. After making some changes and crying because of the song, I decided that it’s worth posting even if the editing of it is not as lovely as I had hoped for.

Strange Bedfellows: these unprecedented photos show a leafcutter bee sharing its nest with a wolfspider
I stumbled across these photos while I was looking up information on leafcutter bees, and I just thought that this was too cool not to share. Captured by an amateur photographer named Laurence Sanders, the photos were taken in Queensland, Australia several years ago, and they quickly garnered the attention of both entomologists and arachnologists.
The leafcutter bee (Megachile macularis) can be seen fetching freshly-cut leaves, which she uses to line the inner walls of her nest. The wolfspider moves aside as the bee approaches, allowing her to enter the nest, and then she simply watches as the leaf is positioned along the inner wall.
Once the leaf is in position, they seem to inspect the nest together, sitting side-by-side in the entryway; the bee eventually flies off again to gather more leaves, while the wolfspider climbs back into the burrow.
The leafcutter bee seems completely at ease in the presence of the wolfspider, which is normally a voracious predator, and the wolfspider is equally unfazed by the fact that it shares its burrow with an enormous bee.
The photographer encountered this bizarre scene by accident, and he then captured a series of images over the course of about 2 days (these are just a few of the photos that were taken). During that 2-day period, the bee was seen entering the nest with pieces of foliage dozens of times, gradually constructing the walls and brood chambers of its nest, and the spider was clearly occupying the same burrow, but they did not exhibit any signs of aggression toward one another.
The photos have been examined by various entomologists and arachnologists, and those experts seem ubiquitously surprised by the behavior that the images depict. The curator of entomology at Victoria Museum, Dr. Ken Walker, noted that this may be the very first time that this behavior has ever been documented, while Dr. Robert Raven, an arachnid expert at the Queensland Museum, described it as a "bizarre" situation.
This arrangement is completely unheard of, and the images are a fascinating sight to behold.
