I think the reason I get saddened by people taking a while to respond or not responding at all is because of all the loss I have witnessed and suffered with in my life, but is heightened slightly by the pansexuality, but moreso by my need of love and affection from the years without it, the years where it should of only been that way instead of years and abuse, but I would not change it, now understand it.

When you walk in these shoes and those still breathing, those who care or are supposed to be your friends, will only reminisce in the loss, and regret the lack of communication when life was still of existence, something I have certainly been guilty of, but it takes two to tango, and though you try it is not thought of the other side, for they have not been through what you have.

Death comes to us all, and everyone will have witnessed it. This is not a text of sympathy looking, this is simply a message of understanding.

For when you witness so much, it seems inevitable that you want to hold onto those people you care about who still fill their lungs with air.

Only for them to not appreciate the life still in you, for them to not see the importance of connecting with those whose souls are still inside the body that is pure.

And until such loss has been repeated in their timeline of life, they will never appreciate the company they could keep in theirs.

The company of those who deeply care about your well-being and you being in their life.

And because of that, because of the different directions envisaged in both minds, one can walk away, whilst they other wallows, but at least now I understand it, why I feel this way.

You'll miss me when I'm gone, you should of missed me whilst I'm alive.

You can only try so many times to maintain relationships and friendships with those who can't take 10 seconds out of their day to see how you are, to arrange something, to do something fun and see the value of life and your importance to them. They are unlike you and I, at this moment in time.

And this is the stone cold truth, those who don't value it leave, and those who do value it get burned.

That care and affection will always be there, but you can add resentment and disappointment to the list.

A dying addiction

It has been a year since my significant other passed on. It was an overdose that tragically took her life. Not a day went by throughout the whole year that I didn't think of her. On the anniversary of her death I wasn't all that sad. I choose to look at it as a blessing. I could have very well of been the one who lost their life but I wasn't. I was given the ability to live and learn. That's what I have chosen to do. I love and miss her dearly but I have come to peace with the fact that it was her time. I also let my addiction go with her.
