#like chiyo is also insecure and wants to be liked but she’s so much more normal about it than teruhashi

i think the thing that is interesting to me about teruhashi is how she not only doesnt hate the attention she gets, not only enjoys the attention she gets, but actively and punishingly chases it. While also simultaneously hating it.
She cant get any peace or quiet, she can’t express her real personality, yet she pushes herself to know everything about everyone so she doesnt have any flaws whatsoever, she can’t just be the sweet pretty girl, she has to effectively make it so everyone she meets forms a one sided relationship with her because it feels like she cares about them. not only that, She initially is totally friendless, because “girls are intimidated by perfection and anyway i dont have time” or something (i don’t remember what she actually says but it was along those lines)
in the beginning she isn’t standing up to anyone, even creepy guys who clearly dont have her best interests, who internally she hates. The only time she gets close is her brother because he not only disrespected her but publicly embarrassed her in front of someone she cared about.
Initially it seems like the only person who sees her as a human is saiki, to everyone else she’s practically an idol, or even a fictional character. Which is insane because she’s NOT. She’s a 16/17 year old girl in highschool.
And despite all of this, she pursues it. She needs everyone to admire her more than they admire anyone. She is willing to put herself through eating actual trash to achieve this. She lives her life like an idea rather than a real person, like she’s a writer except the character she’s writing is herself.
Someone please send her ass to therapy

ok putting my saiki k pony ideas here, mostly so i can maybe draw them someday, but also i put so much thought into these ideas and i want everyone to see them
tried to do EVERY character
kusuo- alicorn, no cutie mark
hides his wings under clothes and pretends he doesnt have them, would rather hide his horn but cant and just pretends he doesnt have much magic instead
why does he not have a cutie mark, you may ask?? because he hasnt accepted his quirks+powers as a part of himself.. his special talent is probably helping people but he thinks he only does that because the magic he has makes him basically obligated (its not true ur just a good person!!)
nobody really calls him out on constantly wearing clothes with so much coverage because they think hes just insecure about being a blank flank so late in life (kinda true, but it defeats the point if everyone KNOWS..)
will he ever get his cutie mark?? um.. i dont know.. maybe ?? definitely not in his high school years
chiyo- unicorn, baking cutie mark but idk what specifically, maybe a heart shaped chocolate like the one she made for kaido
specialty magic for tracking, she was a late bloomer with her cutie mark because she discovered her tracking talent really young and thought that had to do with her special talent for a longgg time
shun- pegasus, black feathers cutie mark
underdeveloped wings (like scootaloo obvi)
convinced hes just a late bloomer but hes almost an adult and still cant fly (never will but he doesnt know that)
gets these cool wing extensions that allow him to glide but still not fly
tells people his cutie mark is his "jet black wings" but its actually writing quills
riki- earth pony, heart shaped ramen bowl cutie mark ?? idfk what his special talent is i just think he has a lotta love in him..
HUGE stallion.. HUGE..
aren- a kirin..
has a huge scar where a cutie mark would be on a pony in the shape of an exclamation point
used to let his anger free when he was a delinquent and when he transferred, he was pretty self deprecating about his control of himself but he actually has a crazy amount of self control..
chisato- pegasus, hammer cutie mark maybe ?
almost made her an earth pony cuz of the brute strength thing but i like this better
got her cutie mark REALLY late because she was absolutely convinced her special talent had to do with food, and when she got it while doing a job she was like "WORKING IS MY SPECIAL TALENT??" but it wasnt about the job, shes just really strong, hardworking, and adaptable
kokomi- zebra, golden heart cutie mark
couldnt decide if she was a crystal pony or a zebra, decided on zebra
her mark LITERALLY seems to glow golden light, it doesnt actually but.. it really seems that way
ik her being a zebra may not sound like it makes sense because zecora got a bunch of NEGATIVE attention, but HEAR me out okok.. this pony au would be in a modern setting with more diversity and people would focus less on her being a zebra and more on her being beautiful and having such a unique pattern..
zecora is the only zebra we see in mlp so theres no reason to think other zebras couldnt have blue hair, esp in the era of saikis mind control (idk how that would tie into this universe cuz ponies already have crazy colors but shhh) so her hair is prob blue with dark and light stripey highlights
mikoto- griffon
ik she might make more sense as a unicorn but her fortune telling strikes me as more of an.. outside magic ?? like.. she was born with the ability, but its not a physical magical power, its like pinkies pinkie sense!!
so yea i like her as a griffon, its unique and i like the idea of her feathers having a unique pattern around her eyes thats akin to gyaru makeup (see: gilda but make it gyaru esque)
and yes she can still be colorful, we see colorful griffons in the late seasons of mlp
metori- a crystal pony, diamond ring cutie mark
tells people thats his cutie mark because its expensive and hes rich as hell but his special talent is actually MAKING jewelry..
i like the idea of him lying about his special talent so i had to think of something that he could say its cuz hes rich.. i kinda wanted his talent to be baking for some reason but i couldnt think of how that would work
reita- earth pony, cutie mark is like a cartoon-like ghost surrounded by a scary purple and black aura
was gonna make his mark something more meaningful but i think its funny if people see it and are immediately scared of him but literally all it means is like he SPEAKS to ghosts, like in the most normal way possible
and same thing as miko, he doesnt need to be a unicorn cuz his powers are different from unicorn magic..
touma- unicorn, magnifying glass over a thought bubble cutie mark
the mark is hard to explain but tell me u get me when i say its because hes got stupidly good detective skills and can tell what people are thinking
jokes around and manages to convince people he has crazy magic and his cutie mark actually means he can read minds but he actually isnt very good at unicorn magic at all
kineshi- is a changeling..
why ?? because he just is!! doesnt it make sense for him to be a creature that feeds off of making other people feel happiness and love ? it totally makes sense
honorable mentions 😛
saikis parents are both earth ponies, and i have no idea what their cutie marks would be but heres some silly ideas: kurumi has a cradle cutie mark (meant to be a mama😋) and kuniharu has a boot and he tells people that it's symbolism for like hard work but people know hes lying and think it means hes a boot licker METAPHORICALLY, which is almost right but.. it means literally
kusuke is an earth pony and his telepathy canceler is probably shaped like a unicorn horn in this universe hehe, and his cutie mark is maybe like a microscope or something ? hes just a mad scientist idk
btw chono in this au would def be like trixie lulamoon if u know what im saying.. he would be a unicorn but his special talent is STAGE magic and his horn doesnt do anything☠️
satou prob has that little hourglass cutie mark thats really common in background characters for animation purposes, idk what his special talent is but that would be really funny

Hi. Love your stuff.
A lot of people, even some SNS shippers, say that since SNS could realistically could not have been canon, NaruSaku would have been the right pairing. But just the thought of NaruSaku disgusts me. I think NaruHina is a particularly awful pairing as well. Hinata is the blandest, snoozeworthy and a weak character with a boring arc. But I am fairly repulsed by the character of Sakura. Personally and objectively, I don't respect or like her character. Objectively, she is toxic, manipulative, selfish, abusive and insecure. People who call her a feminist are highly misguided or in denial. The thought of pairing her with my lovely sunshine boy is just repulsive.
I don't care if NaruSaku made sense in terms of development, even though I don't think so about the latter. Naruto never gave a reason as to why he liked her, never for a moment did I feel that he was serious about her. He crushed on her initially but then it turned into friendship. There wasn't a single moment in the entire show where I perceived anything mutually romantic between them. So I won't call it romantic development.
Frankly, I don't think any character in Naruto deserves the indignity to be paired with her, except for Danzo. Also, I hate Kishi for making me dislike a female character this much.
Thoughts?
Thanks anon ❤️❤️
I really can't believe, how the series had been reduced to pairings and shit. I support SNS for their unrivalled bond. That's it.
Do I need them to hold hands and kiss? No.
Just them working together, changing this world would be more than enough. You see Sasuke would love to walk along with Naruto eternally hearing all his banters and nonsense, and still would not get bored. That's the dynamic between them.
People who call her a feminist are highly misguided or in denial
Haha ;-) You should definitely stay away from such people, anon. A girl who has no valid reason to love a boy except for his good looks, constantly wanting to get in his pants at any given chance... even when that boy was hurting inside for entirely different reasons, even at the expense of war, wanting to impress that boy by putting everyone’s life at risk......is not a feminist. They are insensitive bishes. Even if someone claims it’s a realistic character, I don’t want such character in my life. Dot.
SNS could realistically could not have been canon, NaruSaku would have been the right pairing.
If you don't get one (SNS), replacing it with another one is something purely vile and shitty. In this case NaruSaku. I have seen many SNS supporting NaruSaku too. I must agree it's not trashy as SS or NH.
But Naruto never placed her in the high pedestal as he placed Sasuke.
Proof??
Bare with my lengthy answer.
[Kishimoto became a liar when he retorted to pairings and stuff, so I won’t believe any of his words. I analyze based on what I consumed]
Naruto liked/had crush on Sakura in part 1. No denying that. But he moved on after she hugged Sasuke who woke up from the Tsukuyomi dream. Definitely moved on after she begged him to retrieve Sasuke.
After the timeskip, what I saw was a pure camaraderie of friendship. Or at least from Naruto’s side. From Sakura’s side, I think Kishi wanted to push Naruto and Sakura as the lead pair. So he gave them many moments, like
Making her foolishly approach Naruto in his 4 tailed Kyuubi state.
Made her cry when she heard from Granny Chiyo that ‘Bijuu extracted from Jinchuriki will die’.
Making her say ‘I can only do small things for Naruto’.
Making her preparing Food Pills when Naruto was developing Rasen Shuriken. [[Anime only though]]
Made her pray for Naruto when Konoha was reduced to a desert by Pain. And hugged him before everyone including Hinata LOL.
Made her give lip to lip CPR in an attempt to keep Naruto alive.
All these are from Sakura’s side. Naruto was usually playing around with her by asking dates as a fun. It was never serious, tbh.
But my opinion on Sakura never changed ever since she made that ‘insensitive’ comment about orphan life. And shamelessly confessed to Sasuke when he left the village saying ‘I would feel lonely as you, when you lost your family and clan’. For me, I can’t tolerate these insensitiveness, selfishness and an absolute female version of an asshole. She clearly has no self-respect even when Sasuke rejected, insulted, humiliated, left her to die, tried to murder her many times.
Am sure the viewers also felt the same at that time and he wants to satiate those viewers opinion. You cannot pair your lead character with the most hated character in the fandom. So he made Sakura to fake confess to Naruto and made her even more detestable. I think it was on purpose. So any hopes left for NaruSaku was thrown into drain then and there. They should have moved on.
After that Naruto left Sakura and never met until the War arc. Yes, he saved her from the lava pit, but that’s just another team camaraderie where he saved Kakashi too. That comment about Sakura being his Girlfriend to Minato was an absolute show-off before his dad. Nothing else.
Now let’s see Naruto’s perspective.
That boy, even at the end of part 1 when leaving Konoha, he told himself he will save Sasuke. He trained for those 3 years just to bring him back and to defeat Akatsuki.
He admired her medical abilities and the way she cared him when he got injured after using Rasen Shuriken. Asked out for a date jokingly and got rebuffed. That’s all. He didn’t make any efforts to gain her love like he did in part 1.
And he openly told her that ‘The promise I made to you doesn’t even matters. I want to personally save Sasuke’. This is another attempt to remind us, viewers, that Naruto clearly places Sasuke over Sakura.
Naruto’s ultimate way of placing Sasuke above her is the Kage Summit arc.
Before that, I want you to go back to Pain arc. At a point, when Naruto lost everyone he ever loved, like Jiraiya, Kakashi and his Village reduced to dust, he was still able to forgive Nagato, not knowing that he was going to resurrect everyone back. Even if Naruto would have lost his Kakashi Sensei, he would have bear the hatred and forgive Nagato. Fortunately everyone came back from their death.
That arc clearly shows us... One thing.... Naruto can able to tolerate losing everything he hold dear but still able to walk in a straight path without getting into the cycle of revenge. Nagato saw this before his eyes. That’s why he can believe in Naruto.
But thought of losing someone killing Sasuke???
He openly said to Raikage that Kumo and Konoha don’t need to go to war over Sasuke. Objectively, I felt, ‘Dude!!!!, You can tolerate losing Kakashi, Jiraiya and Konoha and still able to forgive Nagato.... But for Sasuke you want to go for a war with Kumo??? Did you learn anything from the Pain arc?’ LOL.
Not only that. He can still forgive Obito who killed his mother. Geez!!!
The interesting part is where Naruto saved Sakura from Sasuke.
He even said, ‘Sasuke, I heard the truth about Itachi from Tobi. Whatever you have been doing until now.......... It’s all understandable’..... ROFFFFLLLLL.
Meaning, ‘Sasuke.... I know the truth about Itachi.... You tried to kill Sakura..... It’s understandable and alright”....
It’s the most funniest thing Naruto ever said. Even Kakashi and Sakura were speechless and shocked after he said that.
Why?
Because Naruto can tolerate losing Kakashi and Sakura.... Of course, he will be in immense pain if they were killed. But will he die for them?? Nope.
If you truly love someone more than yourself, he cannot tolerate losing them. For Naruto, that person is Sasuke. Which is why he openly declared to Sasuke ‘I will bear the burdens of your hate and die with you’.
Tell me, which person would be alright with their beloved person was about to be killed by someone???
If Naruto truly loved Sakura, he should have punched Sasuke to pulp. Did he do that??? Nope.
So NaruSaku is just a bait to show how strong is SNS.
So NaruSaku was an experiment to Kishimoto. He tried....failed and moved on to Himata or Pinata or whoever that’s even more detestable for me.
I think NaruHina is a particularly awful pairing as well. Hinata is the blandest, snoozeworthy and a weak character with a boring arc.
My hate for this Himata shit stems from her admiration for “Naruto-Kun’s’ big and warm hands over the dead body of her cousin Neji. Which vile person would do this???? Until then, I never even had an ounce of interest in her. But in that moment, I placed her above Sakura in terms of my hate.
And not only that, how come a series started with Naruto, who was facing abandonment issues in Episode 1, ended him being abandoning his best friend Sasuke??
I am speaking from non-SNS perspective here. Why was Sasuke not at the wedding??
It would be fine for me if they had shown that somehow Naruto married Hinata. I would accept it as an arranged marriage for which I don’t mind. But sending Konoha’s jonin for finding Marriage gift and shit..... what the fuck I am watching??? Sasuke is wandering somewhere alone and yet, here Naruto is playing house with Hinata. Well done Kishimoto!!!.. Naruto became the biggest scumbag.
Alright leave Sasuke, What about Amegakure/Rain village???  Nagato, Yahiko, Konan all died because of Konoha’s indirect involvement in their lives. And yet Nagato revived entire Konoha for you. Konan died dreaming that one day you will change Amegakure. She almost killed Obito for you. Those trio who was used by this shinobi world passed on their dreams on to you. Did Naruto even bothered to visit Amegakure to bring a change???? Nope. He wants to marry Himata that constitutes 10 episodes of trash. Thanks Kishimoto, You made Naruto a Liar and an insensitive dog as well.
I would have gladly watched those last 10 episodes of how Naruto brings about change to a small village like Amegakure than this marriage shit. That’s how much I hate Sakura and Hinata, anon.
If Naruto was not paired up with anyone and was made to become a Jonin who had a team under his wing and changed the world along with Sasuke, how better it sounds?? Instead we got to shipping wars and a Naruto, who abandoned his own words. Not cool at all, anon.
Personally, I ship people (not necessarily romantic or sexual) by the way they place each other above everyone. Prioritizing matters from both sides. I never found that in SS, NH or NaruSaku.
In short, How can anyone ship an experimental and failed ship like NaruSaku, and a ship (NH) that made our main character into a scumbag?? The people who support NH, SS, NaruSaku are the ones who don’t give a single shit about the story and focused on only romance just like Sakura and Hinata. They don’t even have to support SNS.
You asked my thoughts, I wrote a whole story. OOPS!!!

Heya I am Back with another ask because I really Like your KH ocs. 😁
Given I have now made the Antagonists in my Story, who of them would your OC likely want to Fight the most?
Tumblr media
Mikana
Primary adversary : Frey, mâle (Hammer-Sand power)
Mikana would dislike everyone of the Nightbringers but more specifically Frey. She would absolutely hate the man. Maybe she would have projected her own insecurity onto him to some extend. (Since Mikana worked with and used darkness for so long, she fears that one day she will lose herself to it. )
Fighting wise a match between Mikana and Frey would be super interesting I think.Frey struck me as a more physical fighter (I don't know if it's the case sorry if it's not dhdhg). Mikana being weak physically but magically gifted someone like Frey with a heavy weapon would put her in a tight spot. She might eventually think of a good strategy and manage to take him down with illusion and magic tho.
Sika
Primary adversary : Bunko, non-binary (Flute-Sound power)
Sika would make it her goal to defeat the Nightbringers with Taiyo, Tsuki and Kumo. They are exactly the type of person Sika dislike. Before knowing their affiliation with Nightbringers she would be protective of Bunko at first. However soon enough she would hate them the most for deceiving her.
A battle between Sika and Bunko would be a massacre. Not for Bunko but for Sika. My poor girl would be oblirated. Sika always acts accordingly to her feelings. This can be a strength but against an opponent like Bunko... It would be a huge disavantage. Since Bunko understands human emotion the most, I can see them making her enrage which would make predictable. Which is very bad in a battle ! Sika is very bad at magic and specialized in close combat. When facing Bunko it would also be very bad sibcr they have sound magic.
All in all, Sika would either need help to defeat Bunko or a lot of training.
Bunny
Primary adversary : Chiyo, female (Fan-Poison)
Bunny has a strong moral compass. The Nightbringers action would make her very mad. Since she considers Taiyo, Tsuki and Kumo somewhat like her kid, she would fight with them 100%. She would dislike Chiyo the most just because she struck her as irresponsible. For Bunny, Chiyo doesn't take the situation seriously and think it's a game I'm not saying that's what Chiyo is doing but that would likely be what Bunny think
When it comes down to fighting, Bunny would be at an advantage. Chiyo poison power would be quite useless when Bunny can us Esura. However I think the fight would still be something to witness. Bunny takes the safety of those she love really seriously and she wouldn't let Chiyo or the Nightbringers be. Bunny can even be quite scary when the people she hold close to her are in danger.
Anis
Primary adversary : Etsu, female (Gloves - Gravity powers)
I think Anis would dislike aller the membre of the nightbringers equally. The reason why him and Etsu would clash would most likely because Anis love to tease her. He can't take her and that would enraged Etsu I think.
In a 1 on 1 fight Anis would be at a desavantage. The use of her gravity power would annoy him very much since he is more efficient in close combat. I can see him be helplessly dragged around by her powers and yelling in rage. It would be quite funny to them fight for sure. I don't know who would win. However I can kinda see a rivalry of sort between them that would make Anis appreciate their drawn out fights.
Pêche
Primary adversary : Gan gan, non-binary (nun chuck staff - Necromancy powers)
Pêche isn't one to hate or love anything but the nightbringers would annoy her greatly. Dreaming is one of the few thing she have a liking toward. She would less hate Gan gan than find them intriguing. Kinda like a challenge to beat than an enemy.
Pêche as a high mastery of fighting techniques and have a bunch of experience in real combat so they are a difficult opponent. They might even be the most powerful character I have. Pêche is like a wild tiger when they fight. They are ruthless. Gan gan necromancy may throw them for a loop at first but soon enough they will adapt accordingly. I think the fight would be quite interesting between them. Pêche might even be surprised by Gan gan's fighting ability at some point. However it is likely Pêche would win. 20 years or so of combat experience is nothing to scoff at after all.
Sorry for THE LONG TIME it took to respond lmao Life as been getting in the way and I was stuck on some answers for a while. Anyways I hope you will like my answers ! If I didn't quite understood some of your character personalities or powers, tell me !
Also English isn't my native language so if I put things weirdly, do mistakes or misgender I'M SINCERELY SORRY I'm not doing it purposely

How To Date a Boy, 101 (Part 1)
1331 words
Also on Ao3
Rating: G
Series: Tokimeki Memorial: Girls Side 2nd Kiss
Pairing: Daisy (OC) x Saeki Teru
Summary: Mizuki has caught feelings for Saeki Teru. But how can she tell if he feels the same way? Guess there's only one way to find out: by taking the advice of your best friend and reading the best lifestyle magazine in Habataki.
Author’s Note: Yes... I have come back from the dead to write some TMGS fics! With GS4 coming out and replaying GS2, the creative juices have been a-flowing. Other than the many cute boys in the game, I have a soft spot for female friendships and always wished you could talk about your crush and do silly friend things in GS2 (I'm glad that it feels more like that in GS3), so I figured it was a great way to open the story. I wanted to capture how Mizuki is really just an insecure teenage girl, with very little experience in love. So while there isn't any Saeki in this chapter, I hope you can still appreciate the build-up!
I hope you look forward to the next chapter!
------------------------
Chapter 1: Love Mode
“You know if you studied consistently rather than the day before the exam, your grades would be much higher. Just because we’re second years doesn’t mean you should be slacking! You’ll gain bad habits.” Chiyomi chided as Mizuki took a small box of Pocky off the shelves of the convenience store and placed it in their basket. A perfect snack for all-night study sessions.
“Ugh, I know. It’s just between work and cheerleading, it doesn’t give me a whole lot of time to hit the books on my own,” Mizuki then put on her sweetest, most pleading smile. “Besides, it’s way more fun to study with an amazing friend like you, Chiyo-chan. Your notes are so concise and perfect, unlike mine.”
Chiyomi pursed her lips and looked. It would take a lot more than that to stop the lilac-haired girl from scolding Mizuki.
“Well, studying should be the most important thing in your life right now! As our teachers say, as it is our job as students is to get good grades. You shouldn’t let other things get in the way.”
Mizuki let out a sigh as they both continued down the aisles. She shouldn’t have expected anything less from the school council member.
“You should maybe consider cutting hours at your job? You said you work at a café, correct?”
Ba-bump. Mizuki could feel her cheeks flush as he picked up a hot can of coffee and stared at it with an unusual amount of intention. A great way to stay awake, but her palette for it has changed since working at Sangosho. Having properly brewed coffee by someone who was passionate about it…
“I’d… rather not.” She let out a sigh before putting it back.
She wasn’t sure if it was the pink in her cheeks or her cryptic answer that gave it away (not as though she was doing a job at hiding either), but Chiyomi suddenly started to stutter.
“Mizuki-chan!” Chiyomi finally blurted out, leaning in closely to Mizuki’s face, as though she needed to confirm what she had just seen. “You like someone, don’t you!?”
“No! I mean… not exactly!” Her eyes darted around as though she were looking for the answer inside the convenience store. Maybe it was the bluntness of the statement that threw the brunette off.
“... It’s complicated!”
“…It’s not Hikami-kun, is it?” Chiyomi stared at her intently, her eyes looking both suspicious, but also worried when she posed the question.
“What? No, of course not. I wouldn’t do that to you.” If Mizuki was bad at hiding her thoughts about boys, Chiyomi was ten times more obvious about her own. She was well aware of why her friend always invited her out all those times to the amusement park, and it wasn’t for the view from the top of the Ferris Wheel. In all honesty, Mizuki thought Chiyomi and Hikami looked cute together. They clearly shared similar interests and got along swimmingly. She couldn’t say the same for herself and her crush.
Chiyomi seemed relieved by that answer, yet still not entirely satisfied it seemed as she still stared intently. Mizuki wasn’t entirely sure how she could answer… for if the entire truth came out, it could cause quite the scandal at school. Saeki Teru going out with a girl that wasn’t one of his fans…
Ugh! What was she even saying!?
Did she like Saeki?
Sure, she had to admit, ever since that time at the fireworks festival, she did feel… different about him. The coffee prince was still a pain in her side, but she also wanted to be around him a lot more. She used to ask him to hang out without a second thought, but that’s because they were friends, like Chiyomi, Shouta, or Tatsuko. Now, anytime she called him to go out, she could feel her heartbeat a million times a second, terrified he might say no. Yes, she and Saeki were friends.
But would it be so bad if they could be something more? He was handsome and charismatic… even kind in his own way. Sure, he teased her, but she could also count dozens of times that he’s helped her out, whether it was teaching her about the different types of coffee beans, or protecting her from random men when they went out together. She could see why he had his own fan club. And when he smiled…
Oh boy. She did like him, didn’t she?
“It’s a guy that I work with at the café,” Mizuki finally answered. Not a lie, but just omitting a few key points. Who knew if there was one of Saeki’s groupies in here. “But I don’t even really know if he really feels the same way! He’s kind of hard to read at times and I’d hate to ruin what we have.” Though she liked to believe that he was fairly honest and upfront with her, it wasn’t unlike him to put on a façade in front of others.
“Hmmm… I do understand this issue,” Chiyomi crossed her arms and nodded, showing concern.
If Mizuki just had a way to figure out if Saeki in a way that didn’t make these weird between them, then maybe it wouldn’t be so scary.
The two girls then found themselves upon the magazine stands. Among the various manga and gravure magazines were of course several lifestyle magazines aimed at young women. Well, when in doubt, consult the experts, right?
Mizuki picked up one with a pure white cover, featuring very professional and very beautiful working women on the front cover. Real Woman Magazine: Two Sure Fire Ways to Find Out If Someone Likes You Pg. 36!
She quickly flipped to the page and scanned the page with her dark-brown eyes.
Tip 1: Ask them if they like you.
Tip 2: Tell them how you feel about them.
Being direct and honest is the most important thing in establishing a good relationship and-
“What kind of garbage advice is this?” Mizuki huffed, tossing it back on the rack. Honest? Direct?
No. Absolutely not. She would rather choose a life of solitude than be the first one to admit her feelings. What if he said no? What if he laughed in her face? No! Mizuki didn’t admit her romantic feelings, she did like any good teenager would: buried them underneath a mountain of snide, sarcastic comments, and hoped that the other person was smart enough to pick up on that! Was that really so hard to understand? Stupid lifestyle magazines.
“Oh, here’s one!” Chiyomi motioned for the brunette to come closer to her. “Look at this special love edition of Habataki Watcher! What to wear and 9 other ways to get your crush to notice and confess to you on page 22!”
Mizuki gasped. Unfortunately, the magazine was bound, meaning they couldn’t open it up in the store, but it wasn’t that much more expensive. She had to know. Habataki Watcher had yet to steer her wrong yet. Himeko’s columns were always spot on. Like they were written specifically for her, but maybe that was just a coincidence.
“Ah, but… this is totally not studying material! Sorry to sidetrack us,”
“Mizuki-chan.” Chiyomi placed the magazine in their basket and then clasped her hands around Mizuki’s. “This is studying. Studying for love!”
“Chiyo-chan…!!!” she could feel her eyes start to tear up. That was truly the cheesiest thing she had ever heard in her life, but seeing Chiyomi was supporting her, how could she not feel touched?
The two then raced to the cashier and quickly paid for their things. Mizuki suddenly felt a boost of confidence. She had the perfect magazine and the support of her friend. Maybe this was all that she needed to help her after all this time. A smirk appeared on her face as the doors of the convenience store automatically opened.
Saeki Teru, you’d better watch out, because Mizuki Shirogawa is about to capture your heart!

Lucky Charms {Eijirou Kirishima}
Tumblr media
A/N: So I got this idea earlier this morning for the holiday and wrote it instead of finishing the piece I originally wanted to put out this weekend. I hope you all enjoy because Kirishima as a dad has me weak!
Tumblr media
When he was younger, Kirishima was a night owl through and through. Waking up in the morning to attend classes at UA had been a struggle especially before the dorm system was put in place. An earlier time on the train meant an earlier alarm but on campus he had an explosive best friend to quite literally drag him out of bed.
Now two children, a full-time job as a pro hero, a shared agency, and ten years of marriage later, his body took whatever sleep it could get and refused to let him sleep past seven am. Which was fine because it allowed him to get done what he needed before the rest of his family awoke.
It was definitely fine on Mother’s Day because it gave him the time to wake up his two children in preparation for the holiday. Since they had inherited his late-night tendencies and reluctance for mornings, it was often a challenge.
“Chiyo, its time to get up,” he said softly, nudging his daughter’s shoulder lightly. “We’ve got Mother’s Day to celebrate.”
The teenager grumbled, her comforter pulled tight around her curled up form and scrunching up her already rumpled black braid, every minute of her thirteen years evident in the reluctance.
“Don’t make me send your brother in,” he threatened playfully.
“Dad!” she groaned, blinking up at him with her mother’s eyes. Brows furrowed, she rubbed her pajama sleeve across her face before sitting up. “Why can’t we wait another hour?”
He laughed as he walked towards her bedroom door. “We wake mom up with breakfast, she doesn’t come looking for it. You act like you haven’t done this a dozen times before.”
Ignoring her huffs he told her to meet him in the kitchen as he made his way across the hall to his son’s room. Walking into the smaller room, he chuckled at the sight in front of him.
Kazuma was lying on his stomach, his arms and legs star-fished out in all directions. One foot peeked out from beneath his blankets, the blue sock half off and the elastic clinging desperately to his toes. The closer he got, he could also hear the tiny snores escaping his parted lips.
“Wake up, little Riot, its Mother’s Day,” he laughed, grabbing his foot and shaking it.
The boy snuffled and rolled over slightly, blinking up at his father sleepily.
He grinned. “C’mon, we gotta meet your sister in the kitchen to get started!”
“Oh, okay,” he mumbled as he tossed his comforter aside. Just like his sister, his dark hair stuck up in all directions, though the shorter length made him look more like a black-haired version of his favorite uncle.
The Kirishima boys made their way down to the kitchen where Chiyo was waiting for them on one of the breakfast stools, her thumbs flying across her phone’s screen. Her braid had been taken out and her hair laid in wild waves against her shoulders.
“Alright,” Kirishima started as Kazuma took the seat next to his sister, “I’m gonna start on your mom’s breakfast and you two can go get your gifts from the closet, make sure everything’s ready.”
Chiyo set her phone down and gestured back towards their living area. “I grabbed our gifts and everything looks good. We both signed the card last night. The flower and card from you are with the gifts on the kotatsu.”
“Thanks baby girl,” he smiled. “Then let me get her breakfast ready and we can get this show on the road!”
Kazuma giggled. “Dad, you’re just making cereal!”
“Yeah, but that’s Mother’s Day breakfast!” he replied as he pulled a bowl down from the cupboard. He declined to add that breakfast also included coffee, but that wasn’t always the case. “Chiyo, can you grab the milk please?”
She nodded, moving towards the fridge. “He’s right, though, dad. We don’t do much for Mother’s Day breakfast. The Bakubabies were telling us that Uncle Katsuki wakes up super early and makes a big American breakfast for Auntie, then wakes them up to help carry it and give gifts.”
He grabbed the milk from her, dousing the poured cereal as he chuckled lightly to himself. Bakugo should never have made such a big deal about the little nickname for his children.
“Its just sort of tradition,” he said easily, pouring the coffee into a large Red Riot mug from his first official merch line.
“How did it start?” Kazuma asked curiously, kicking his legs absently.
Kirishima paused as he finished putting the coffee and cereal onto the serving tray. He often thought about the first Mother’s Day they had celebrated after Chiyo was born, especially when the holiday approached, but he didn’t think he’d ever really discussed it with his children.
“Well, your mom and I had been dating in high school and after graduation we moved in together. I was just starting out as a hero, doing sidekick work at Fatgum’s agency with Suneater, and your mom had taken a position at Ryukyu’s agency for management. Chiyo was born about a year after we graduated, and even though we both worked fulltime up until then and even after, money was tight,” he admitted.
He didn’t find it shameful that they had struggled when they were just starting out or that having a baby young had been difficult, but he often worried that his children’s confidence in him would wane if he showed too much of the hardship. Old insecurities always died hard.
“The very first Mother’s Day we celebrated, I… I couldn’t afford much,” he murmured. “I got her a card and a pink carnation, but when I went to make her breakfast I realized we didn’t have anything to make a special meal. All we had was an unopened box of Lucky Charms so I went with it; either I brought it to her in bed or she would walk out to the kitchen to get it, you know? If nothing else I could save her a trip down the hallway.”
Glancing up at them, he saw the eagerness to listen to their parents’ beginnings, no trace of pity in either of their gazes. He briefly marveled at how beautiful their eyes were, thankful that they got their mother’s eyes and his dark hair to become perfect little combinations of them both.
“She didn’t mind the cereal and cried when she opened the card,” he continued, smiling at the memory. “She told me that it was the best first Mother’s Day she could imagine, and that she couldn’t wait until Chiyo was older to help carry in the tray of cereal. So that’s just how it’s happened every year since. Even when I became a hero with Fatgum and when your Uncle Katsuki and I started our agency, she told me I should only ever get her a card and maybe flowers, but no gifts. When you two got older it was easier to get gifts because I could just say they were from you, though.”
They all laughed, the tension that the air had held since he began his story gone.
Chiyo bumped Kazuma’s shoulder with her own. “That’s the kind of husband you better be.”
He puffed out his chest and knocked his little fists together in his father’s signature move. “It’s the manliest way to be a husband!”
Kirishima smiled widely, pride filling him at how truly amazing his kids were. He was blessed in every way possible with his family and he wouldn’t trade them for anything.
“C’mon, kiddos, let’s go surprise your mom,” he said, and they ran to the kotatsu to grab their gifts to her, Kazuma handing him the single flower and dusty pink card he had chosen for his wife.
The trio made their way upstairs, presents held in the children’s grasp and him balancing the tray in one hand and his own presents in the other. He was sure his wife was already awake from their laughter in the kitchen, but tradition said they had to wake her up with breakfast in bed.
“Happy Mother’s Day!” they shouted as they entered the bedroom, Chiyo and Kazuma jumping onto the bed with her to give hugs and kisses.
She looked up at him with a beaming smile as he set the food on her bedside table, mouthing “thank you” as she hugged the children close.
Kirishima nodded, his own smile wide, as his eyes drifted to the three frames on the wall behind her. The bottom two displayed each of their children’s pictures from when they were born, the frames a soft purple color with their names engraved under their respective photo. Above them hung a dusty pink frame that read My First Mother’s Day, an open card and a single, dried pink carnation inside.
The carnation represented endurance, and he knew what the writing in the card said by heart, the words he had written so many years ago still true.
“I grew up with two mothers, and I used to think that taught me what motherhood was all about and, in a way, it did. I’m forever thankful to the women who raised me but when it comes to motherhood I look to you as my source for what it truly is. Growing up I didn’t see them struggle but persevere through the hard times. I never came home to see them swaying a sleeping baby in a sling across their chest while they prepared dinner, a laptop on the counter with a business meeting half over where they presented end of the quarter data. They supported my dreams of being a hero, but not by staying home with a newborn daughter while I took extra hours to grow my name and try to earn just a little more than enough money. I love you endlessly for the sacrifices you’ve made for our little family and the way you mother Chiyo. I can’t imagine anyone else by my side during the good times and the difficult ones, and I say difficult because with you they’re never bad. You’re an amazing mother and I can’t wait to see you teach Chiyo even more as time goes on. I love you so much.
Eijirou”

Sakura started out as a commoner without a bloodline, bullied, insecure, living in her best friend's shadow, so she declares a rivalry with the person who had defended her from bullying all those years because she was inspired by her and wanted to work to surpass her. in the beginning, she could barely hone any jutsu, but slowly, she discovers she has an affinity for chakra control, mastering the tree climbing exercise in one go, before either Sasuke or Naruto, even though it's supposed to be super hard for even master shinobi to learn)(and tree climbing is the only thing Kakashi ever teaches her), she manages to see through genjutsu in the first exam, thinks of naruto's safety over and over again, cheers him on and believes in him all throughout the chuunin exams, and when Naruto and Sasuke end up injured and Rock Lee as well in the forest of death, she fights tooth and nail to protect them until help arrives with next to no jutsu or special bloodline to work with, cutting her hair to show she's not obsessed with her appearances anymore(despite that she used to be horribly bullied for her large forehead), and then in her fight with ino she breaks her mind transfer with Naruto's encouragement, and manages to face ino as an equal rather than in her shadow, skip to after the chunnin exam(she also hates to see Lee, Sasuke and Naruto pushing themselves so much and cares about each of them as her friends.) during the ordeal with Sasuke, she's once again feeling inferior(throughout the series she's actually lowkey jealous of Naruto's and Sasuke's progress), so after seeing Naruto injured and recognizing her weakness for the umpteenth time, she goes to Tsunade to become her apprentice right after seeing naruto hurt, because she wants to be able to support both of her teammates instead of leaving everything up to Naruto to take care of. Long story short, She becomes a medical ninja, saves numerous lives, masters byakugou, surpasses Tsunade, and even becomes the strongest Kunoichi in the world, according to Kishimoto's databooks. Yeah, Kishimoto sidelined her for two characters that he decided to make demigods last minute, and so the comparisons are completely unfair, but Sakura had numerous people support her growth(Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Tsunade, Kakashi, Chiyo, and numerous others, even enemies were impressed by her) and went from a fragile trembling girl to a sannin level fierce and secure young lady despite starting from absolute scratch within only 5 years.
Tsunade was of the senju clan, Sakura was of no clan, which is why her feats are so amazing for what her arc is worth. And in the manga this is much more apparent where her development and growth is pretty much constant rather than up and down like it is in the anime.

There was something special about looking over the balcony at night. The business of the main road had long died out, leaving just the occasional zoom of a passing car. The sun's blinding light would be hidden away for hours to come. The songs of nocturnal insects filling the ears of those around. There was something.. Special about it all, something serene.
The cat, laying idly at Kei's feet, had found solace in her silence as she did in his. His soft purring vibrating the tips of her toes. The two siblings weren't fond of TV, especially this late at night. So the usual ruckus of the day was no longer present, allowing the ragdoll to sleep soundly if he so choose.
The freedom to choose.. What a liberty, right? To allow oneself decide their own fate, both good and bad. It could be a simple decision, like what color socks you wanted to wear that day or did you want to call your mother or your father, knowing both would be on the end of either of your choices. But, as we intricate creatures continue to walk the long road we call life, we are expected, and sometimes forced, to make some harsh decisions. Ones that are sure to affect you in the long run, if not your entire life. And as Ms. Kei Sato stood there, eyes gazing away into the nightly abyss, she wondered if she chose right. Out of the handful of choices she was given, did she choose the best one for everyone?
Sighing, she looked down, a hand rubbing at her temple in attempts of easing the oncoming headache that was sure to ruin her night and morning. Curses were uttered, and her eyes glanced around dully at the surroundings beneath her. The cat.. Her toes.. The sleeved shirt she wore. When finally, her eyes landed on the glistening ring that hung from her neck.
...
...
...
"... Is the-there something wrong with it?" Hisai asked, taken aback by the way she stared at the gift. It was a golden ring, striped down the center by a lighter shade of gold. The name 'Jeong-joo' was inscribed on the inside, meaning that, yet again, it was a piece of fan merch from the TV show he loved so much. Taehyun, a starry-eyed coworker of Jeong-joo's, had given it to her as one of his many attempts to win her affection. It was an awkward gesture for the both of them, realizing how idiotic it was to give a girl a gift that expensive. It was one of the defining moments of their platonic relationship, one that especially stuck out to the tactician, seeing that he related so heavily to him.
"N-no... I-"
It was too late to reassure. He turned the box to him, worry in his eyes as he buried his face into the case, examining every last detail of the ring. And while it looked stupid in every definition of the word, it did manage to achieve his true goal: to elicit a smile from his troubled girlfriend. He noticed something was off from the get-go. Her usual smile was faded and it looked like his ramblings went through one ear and out the other. She was thinking about something important, he guessed, and while he didn't want to bother her with questions, he was supposed to be there whenever she was upset, like now.
"I- um.. I noticed you're kind of.. Out of it..? I-I guess I-..." He mentally cursed at how his stuttering voice betrayed him. "Are you okay?"
"Hisai.. What do you like about me?"
What did he like about her? What kind of question was that? There was plenty to like about her! Both as a friend and as- .. You know.. A girlfriend..! Where is this all coming from, he wondered. The bothered look on her face was one he hadn't seen before. She was serious about it, so he should as well.
"W-Well..." He stammered, a flower of red starting to blossom on his cheeks. "You're really pretty.. A-and nice... You actually listen to me instead of- you know. Ignoring me like everyone else... And I really like that- um.. That you also give everyone a chance.. Instead of shunning people away because of dumb rumors, you try to befriend them.. And stuff.." The more he spoke, the more confident he sounded in his words. Hisai wasn't good at complimenting someone like this, not like he had experience in it anyway. His mind nearly went blank at the question! Thankfully, though, he managed to pull together a nice coherent answer.
"What if.." Blink and he'd miss the flicker of sadness in her eyes. Her arms folded, as she tried to find a way to voice her insecurities without actually saying them. "What if I was different?"
"Different? Like you had a secret identity?"
"Yes and-... Yes and no.. I'm still myself." She bit her lip, teeth grinding so hard on the delicate piece of flesh that she was on the brink of tearing through. She wanted to say it. She wanted to just pull at her hair and tell him all the things that tore her apart at night. But she couldn't, the fear of rejection and sullying every last moment she had with him and their friends looming over her.
"But a different kind of 'me'.."
"I-I'm confused.. But-! But!.. I.. I'll give 'that kind of you' a chance.. Like you did to me.. Because, in the end, you're still Isa. .. Right?"
His answer was far from understandable. And he couldn't tell if what he said did anything to improve her mood or ease her stress. But the smile he gave her read as if he solved all of her problems. Like he was going to be the sunshine on her rainy day.
Isabella fought back the tears pricking her reddening eyes. He was far too sweet for his or her own good. Just gives her another reason to cherish him more. She pulled him in close, an arm around his shoulders and another to hug his head against her chest, her fingers running through his blonde hair. Isabella was sure he could feel her heart beat against his temple, but she couldn't care any less. Let him hear it.
"Thank you, Sai." She managed to whisper without choking on her tears. They'd have to work on this giving nature of his. She could easily buy him back just as many gifts but it felt as if he was trying to buy her affection. But really-
"And don't worry... I love the ring."
He didn't have to.
...
...
Hisai.. The sky was empty that night, not a single star was to be seen from the comforts of the balcony. No one was there to listen to her pleads, not even the spirits above. Can I still be given another chance..?
She had completely separated herself from the one who once was. From head to toe, from the mannerisms to the deepening of her voice, she was Kei Sato, amateur gardener, Armani family caretaker. She enjoyed long walks along the dock and the smell of a Monday brew. She watched La Ruota Della Fortuna with her mother and played cards with the pretentious prick she called a father. She made herself at home in a future she was satisfied with living. But..
"Are you sure about this one, Kid? You know you can't go back after this?"
"Kei! ... You're in our group chat now. So text us when you can, okay?..."
"...You know we would have been there for you if you told us! I could have sworn you were the one that said that we should protect each other..!"
"Addie.. What do I do..?"
"Talking to the cat is a new low, don't you think?"
Of course, she tsked. The sly bastard had snuck up on her while she was deep in thought, only to flash a chesire grin when he caught her thinking out loud.
"You look terrible."
"You are terrible.." She didn't have the energy to make a witty comeback. Seeing him next to her sapped any and all tolerance within seconds. Einosuke shifted his position, joining her to face the small area around them, his head tilted up towards the stars.
"How does it feel? The creeping sense of doubt and regret."
Her words left her the moment she tried to open her mouth. She tried to scowl but her face kept twisting back to her usual bitter look. The corners of her lips twitched and her hands reached up to wipe away bubbling tears. But the more she swiped at, the more tears that fell to the point where she had given up on delaying the inevitable. The last straw was the hand placed on her back, rubbing awkward circles as a means to comfort her.
"Miss Kei!" Kei turned to the painfully cheerful voice, her hands gripping tightly onto the suitcase she dragged behind her. The airport was packed with people yet the occultist had managed to pick her out from the crowd. The moment the clack of her shoes ceased, Chiyo held up a hand, her chest heaving as she took a moment to catch her breath. How did she fucking run in heels?
"He- Here, my dear!" Chiyo held up her phone, decorated with all types of gothic imagery and a photo of her and her beloved mothers. She displayed the chatting app she and her classmates used. With a few taps, Kei's number was slotted amongst the already long list of members in the group.
"You're in our group chat now. So text us when you can, okay?"
"Thanks.. Um.. Kageyama-san but-"
"Please." The occult took Kei's free hand into hers, the serious look in her eyes stopping her in her tracks. "Your aura.. You are harboring a lot of bottled up emotions that I'm sure you don't want to say."
She squeezed the ravenette's hand. "If you ever need someone to talk to, dearest. You know you can absolutely talk to us! If not them, then definitely me. Because I know how it feels.."
Kei was.. Stunned. What did she-. She couldn't have possibly known that-. The lump in her throat was unrelenting and so was the grip Chiyo was on her.
"I... I'm gonna miss my flight.." Kei slipped from her grasp, backing away as she shook off the thought. Chiyo was always the weird one, she reminded herself.
"Bye.." She muttered, rushing off to, hopefully, disappear into the crowd.
"Remember to text us!!" The occultist yelled, not at all bothered by the bitter looks she was receiving. She waved both of her hands with a smile, sending her off with her final goodbyes. "We're here for you, darling! Because that's what friends are for!"
"I hate it.."

Inu X Boku Secret Service (Anime Review)-{First Review}
Ok. Here is my first real attempt at a real detailed (somewhat) anime review. I may make youtube versions of these reviews, if they work out well. Please keep this in mind: I am dyslexic, and as such, my grammar and punctuation are far from stellar. But, I do try my best. Please have patients with me. Review: This anime is from 2012- For Anime: I focus on the art (but not animation or the animation studio), music & sound, characters and story. For Manga: I focus on the mangaka (sometimes), art, characters and story. Review for InuxBoku SS (Anime): My opinion on the opening: “I like it. A lot. It shows the connection between the characters without spoiling much of anything. It tells a story of its own. Indicating that the characters were reincarnated over and over again and are still connected through all of that. Instead of a red string of fate- a red airplane is used to connect the two main characters. In my opinion, a lot of thought went into it. They use numerous camera angles, and several art styles in their animation. They also use light and shadow in thoughtful ways. As for the song: It took me some time to get use to it. I didn’t start liking the opening much until the anime was almost over. On the second watch through: I still liked it a great deal. The lyrics (you would have to look up the translation- as I don’t feel like posting them here) to the song (called “Nirvana” by MUCC) match both: The feel of the anime, and the relationship between the characters (especially the 2 leads).” Characters (I will just mention the main cast): Ririchiyo Shirakiin: She is my favorite of all the characters. Mainly, this is because she is similar to me. Like Ririchiyo, I can be difficult: my shyness, depression and just plain awkwardness causes this. This causes issues between myself and others. That aside- about her characteristics: She is the main character. Without getting TOO into the issues that would be spoilers: She is 15 at the start of the story. Soushi Miketsukami is her secret service agent that she had assigned into her when she moved into Maison de Ayakashi (Ayakashi Kan or Ayakashi Hall)- which she moved to, in order to be alone. That did NOT work in her favor. Ayakashi Kan is an apartment complex where half-blooded youkai reside. They work to protect each other from full-blooded demons. This girl is in CONSTANT distress about not being able to properly communicate with those around her. She always second guesses her actions and words; several times and can sometimes become quite a basket-case when worrying about something she has said or done after the fact. This is MOSTLY due to the fact that she was severely abused by those around her, while she was a child. When she arrives at Ayakashi Kan she meets Renshou (another part youkai, like herself - whom she had known as a child) who is a few years older than she is. After that, Chiyo met his secret service agent: Nobara. Then she met and befriended (awkwardly) Karuta. A girl who was about her age, who was also a SS agent at the housing complex. Chiyo later met and befriended others. Though, she was only able to befriend them because they were pushy or stubborn and would not take: “leave me alone” for an answer. Left to her own devices, she would have likely lived alone for the rest of her life. She is the first (and only) character in Japanese anime and manga to be classified as a tsunshun instead of tsundere because she gets depressed (shun) instead of becoming loving/affectionate (dere) after behaving initially (tsun) cold (and sometimes even hostile) way. Soushi Miketsukami: At first, my main impressions of him were: He’s an annoying doormat. It’s likely that I thought of him like that because my personality is SO similar to the heroine’s and…. That’s what she seemed to have thought of him. Though; It took much longer for me to start liking him, than it did for her. And she liked him far more than I did, at the end of the anime: lucky for him. He is descended from the 9 tailed fox demon, like Chiyo and the others at Ayakashi Kan, he is an atavism (a throw back) to his demon ancestor. Because of that. He shares the soul, personality (though his ancestor was likely NOT a doormat) and the appearance of that ancestor. He is one of the most powerful human born demons at Ayakashi Kan. Aside from being a doormat- he is generally polite, gentle, a bit perverted and somewhat manipulative. He has a soft spot for women, Chiyo especially. Extremely subservient: he blindly follows her orders (sometimes begging for an order or abuse of some sort, much to her horrified dismay) like the loyal dog that everyone wants to kick. He puts Chiyo’s life above his own. He has a sad past- like Chiyo he was abused by his family- though in a different way. Soushi was more neglected than battered, as she was. He has dual-colored eyes (Heterochromia iridium). One being blue, the other being gold. Renshou Sorinozuka: He is my second favorite. Renshou is a boy of about 17-18. Very good-looking and lazy (though he prefers laid-back). He is considerably darker skinned than the others. And has a “tattoo”-like birthmark running from just under his left eyebrow, to his jaw and down his throat. He also has a related birthmark on his left bicep. He is part Ittan-Momen youkai (a cloth monster). His secret service agent is Nobara, a yuki-onna…. But, she hates men. Of any sort. Which is unfortunate, because he appears to have some feelings for her. He treats Chiyo (Ririchiyo) like a little sister. Considering that they knew each other as children, and he is only a few years older than she is, that is understandable. Her SS Agent: Soushi Miketsukami calls him: “Big-Brother”. Nobara Yukinokouji: She is Renshou’s SS Agent at Ayakashi Kan. Nobara is a Yuki-Onna (A snow Woman). She greatly dislikes men. And has a…. Extreme fondness for the females in Ayakashi Kan. She does not seem to be in love with any of them. Just interested in their…. Assets: She loves fashion and girls. She wears glasses, and has white/blonde hair that falls to her shoulder blades. In her free time she likes to see adult magazines with beautiful women, and she shares and discusses those with Sorinozuka: That’s one thing that interests the both of them. She often does exhibit a very focused and straightforward demeanor (despite what I previously stated), although she will also occasionally participate in some of the group’s silly antics from time to time. Banri Watanuki: He is the same age as Ririchiyo and Karuta. Banri is a Tanuki atavism youkai and his personality is somewhat like Ririchiyo’s in the fact that: he often says the opposite of what he really means. He is most often impulsive and very outspoken. Watanuki labels himself a “delinquent”- Though he is really anything but. He is a childhood friend of: Karuta, Soushi, Natsume and Kagerou. Although, for the last 2 he was more like a play thing, than a “friend”. He hates Soushi and considers him his “rival” because the fox called him “Cute” in their youth. Watanuki never forgave Miketsukami for that. The Tanuki is in love with Karuta, and is easily (understandable) frightened by Kageru. Karuta Roromiya: She is the same age as Watanuki and Ririchiyou: 15. Karuta is the SS Agent for Kagerou- however he is rarely in Ayakashi Kan. So, she is often left to her own devices. She is ever hungry and curious. Soft spoken as well. Even though she seems spaced out, she is quite clever and well knowing about important things. She is the atavism for a Gashadokuro (starving skeleton) who passed its blood down the line in her family. As such, she can take on the form of a massive skeleton and can do quite a lot of damage when she needs to. Zange Natsume: Natsume, just like the others, is a half youkai. He is a Hyakume (100-eyed demon). He is the SS Agent for Watanuki and likes to tease him and play tricks on the Tanuki. Natsume has an overly cheerful personality and knows more than he lets on, most of the time. He wears a headband with bunny ears. Natsume is particularity fond of Soushi- Calling him: “Sou-Tan” in an affectionate manner. He has reddish hair and wears a bandage over part of his face to hide extra eyes. In his youkai form, he has eyes all over his arms and an eye in each palm of his hand. Kagerou Shoukiin: He is Karuta’s partner and the former master of Soushi. He is also Ririchiyo’s fiancé. She has no feelings for him, and he does not seem interested in pushing the issue. The man can often be bossy, blunt, arrogant, eccentric and narcissistic. He usually addresses the other members as “pigs”, “animals”, “human toilets” or “bitches”. A total sadist who goes on and on about S&M….. He can be QUITE annoying to all (Other characters and the viewer). Note: I won't go into the ships (canon or otherwise)- because that would be getting into spoiler territory. If I do youtube reviews, I MAY try to go a bit into spoiler territory. But, I'm not promising anything. As for the story itself: The anime is mainly there to draw your attention to the manga. The mangaka: Cocoa Fujiwara died a year after she finished the manga for this series. She died from complications with an illness. So, the manga IS finished. However, the anime is NOT. The 12 episode anime covers about 9.5 of the chapters. The first 18 chapters of the manga are actually the prologue- so the anime does not really get into the story much at all. I liked the anime, and I am reading the manga, however, I am personally finding the manga a bit boring. So, I am slow at reading it. What the anime DOES do: it introduced the main cast and side characters, and show us some of their personalities. It’s a fun watch. There really are no major conflicts, though because it only covered half of the prologue. Ririchiyo and Soushi are the focus, and how their relationship grows, is as well. They have to overcome their insecurities together. If you watch the anime, it may leave you feeling satisfied with that, or it may leave you wanting to read the manga. wanting to read the manga. Though, it did not compel me much to read the manga, I was curious. Others may see it differently. The manga was in a shounen demographic (shounen, shoujo, josei, seinen- none of them are genres. I find it really annoying when they are used as such. They were labels (changed into genres in the west) for the demographic that they were marketed to) magazine- so it is considered a shounen. Though, it feels more like a shoujo when you read the manga or watch the anime. The ending: Each episode features a different “character song”- most of them bored me. I really liked the one from episode 7: “Taiyou to Tsuki” by Renshou’s CV: Yoshimasa Hosoya & Nobara’s CV: Youko Hikasa. Otherwise, they weren’t really all that interesting visually or musically to me. Often part of the episode continues after the ending song/credits. So, you shouldn’t just stop the episode and go onto the next one, if you are bored by the ED. Just skip past it.

It’s a fine, nearly spring day when Kiba first lays his eyes on what has to be the finest boy he’s ever seen.
The dogs are running low on food and Kiba’s been sent to fix that. It’s a good long walk usually canceled out by a car he’s no longer allowed to use. At least til his momma forgives him. He spots Naruto’s bright yellow hair as he enters the store and resists the urge to tackle him. Naruto’s not alone and Kiba has some kinda home training. “Que pasa pendejo?!” He yells across 3 aisles. Home training never included an inside voice. The group turns around and Kiba recognizes the redhead; Gaara, knows how to party, always brings coke but exclusively for Naruto. The tall blonde with the large space puffs that are out of this world he doesn’t recognize but she fits the description of the girl Shika’s so hung up about. Kiba thinks he understand, her legs do go on forever. He doesn’t focus on her for long because last boy, dressed in all black from his beanie, to his fingerless gloves, to his combat boots has his attention in a vice grip. If the outfit wasn’t enough the boy has on dark purple lipstick he’s matched to his eyeshadow. Kiba dubs him “sexy goth” and needs his name immediately. The sudden wave of dehydration makes him trip over his own feet. He doesn’t fall, thank god, his reflexes are usually on point. He smoothly gathers himself making his way over to Naruto. “Gonna scare all the customers with that racket, dog breath.” Naruto says with a smile slinging his arm around Kiba’s neck in a not so gentle hug. “I’m sure Lee wouldn’t mind.” Kiba replies when Naruto releases him. “Who do we have here?” “Well you know Gaara. This his brother and sister.” Naru says pointing to each respectively. “Temari,” the blonde says waving with the bag of chips in her hand. “Kankuro.” Sexy goth says, and offers his hand to Kiba. Kiba takes it with a lopsided grin. “Kiba. My mom owns the kennel, good friend of Naruto’s. Single.” Kankuro raises his brows, impressed. If Kiba takes too long to let go of his hand he doesn’t say. “You didn’t tell me your Suna friends were fine as hell.” Kiba says to Naruto in Spanish. “You never asked.” Naruto says. — Later when everyone gathers at the Namikaze house his friends shake their heads at him. “You ever met a bitch named shame?” Shika asks. He’s propped up against Naruto’s bed nursing a can of beer. “We’re not on speaking terms right now.” Kiba shrugs from the beanbag in the corner. “I cannot believe that worked.” Chouji says. “What can I say? I am a gentleman.” “If you’re a gentleman I’m fucking lawyer.” Naruto says from the edge of his bed. They all crack up and Ms. Kushina yells that they better laughing over that homework. — The next time he sees Kankuro it’s two days later and he’s working his shift at the kennel. He’s mostly waiting for lunch time. The dogs are clean and in their cages waiting to be adopted. Hana’s in the back serving them lunch when Kankuro stomps in donned in another all black outfit. Same boots, same fingerless gloves, but a black hoodie and baggy black jeans. Kiba notes he painted his nails the same purple as his eyeshadow and lipstick. Favorite color. Noted. “Welcome to Inuzuka Kennel,” he drawls and gives that same lopsided grin. “What can we do you for? A dog? A friend? Both?” He’s never been one for subtlety. Kankuro pretends to consider this. “I guess bit of both.” Kankuro matches Kiba’s grin and leans over the counter. Well then. The tension is strong and pulled taught. “I’m heading out for lunch Kiba you want anything?” Hana yells on her way out. Kiba doesn’t break eye contact with Kankuro and answers, “two pork shoulder sandwiches from Akimichis.”  He hears his sister confirm and the door shuts. “Why don’t you step back here and we can see about that?” — Hana comes back in exactly half an hour, ever punctual. Kiba is has his chair tipped back and his feet in the desk which his mom hates and Kankuro sitting on the desk which Hana frowns at. She hands Kiba the bag with the food and he hands Kankuro the other sandwich. “Aight, get back to work before Mom makes you scrub this whole place down.” Hana says. Kankuro takes that as his cue to go. “I think I might come back another time.” “Oh did you see one you liked?” Hana asks. Both boys smile. “Sure did.” — “I hope ya momma busts ya ass for fucking on the clock.” Chouji says throwing a couch cushion at him. “Speaking from experience?” Kiba says catching it easily and sticking his tongue out. He doesn’t tell them Hana slapped him upside the head twice but was merciful enough not to tell his momma. — “You sure you not moving too fast?” Naruto asks one afternoon in detention. Its almost summer. Almost vacation. He wears his mesh shirt to school because it’s just that hot and thinks the detention is worth it. Iruka sensei lets them do whatever for the hour as long as they don’t make too much noise or leave the room. Shika’s there for snoring in trig, Ino for skipping gym, Naruto got into another fight, and Sakura, apparently cussed out the history teacher. “Maybe,” Kiba says. They’ve only been on two dates at this point and yes Kiba is counting that time at work. He hogs the phone every other day just to talk to Kankuro. He never thought of himself as someone who could manage a long distance relationship but here he is. Except- “We’re technically not exclusive yet.” He confesses. Ino practically shouts, “Why the fuck not?” Iruka looks up from his newspaper and gives her a look that says, “Really?” Kiba shrugs and that only makes her more mad. “What’s the hold up? You like him, he likes you, you both are only seeing each other so what’s the problem?” She says waving her perfectly manicured nails around. (The elephant in the room blares but neither her or Sakura hear it) “There ain’t no problem. It’s just never come up.” Kiba doesn’t usually feel insecure but right now he’s uneasy. It’s too soon to say he’s in love, but he’s never had a relationship like this. “You should probably get on that quick then,” Sakura says. “It’s different when you can’t see them everyday.” Kiba doesn’t like the implication at all. His stomach sinks a bit and Iruka sensei dismisses them for the day. — Kiba doesn’t really ask for much for his birthday. He appreciates a good party even when it’s a few days late and loves being surrounded by friends and family. Even when certain friends abandon him for their new boytoys. Fucking typical. “Are you pouting, birthday boy?” Kiba looks up to see Kankuro and to say his face lights up is an understatement. “You came!” He all but tackles him and almost knocks the both them into Shinos table. Kiba can’t see his glare behind his shades but knows it’s there. He doesn’t care. “You’re surprised? Why wouldn’t I?” “Well,” Kiba starts. God since when does he get nervous? “We never really talked about being official or anything-“ “We haven’t? I’ve been telling everyone my boyfriend lives in Konoha.” At this Kiba laughs wholeheartedly. “That answers that.” “Sorry for not being explicitly clear, Scotty.” He presses himself impossibly closer and kisses him longer than ever necessary. “I also came bearing gifts.” “You mean you weren’t my present?” “Well yeah. Consider it my apology for not being able to stay.” Kankuro hands Kiba a tiny bag and smiles. “Only the best for the birthday boy.” “Holy shit I love you.” —
In a month or so momma Inuzuka will let Kiba take his permit test and Kiba will be allowed to borrow the car again. The first thing he plans to do is book it to Suna and spend a week in Kankuro’s bed. It’s just not fair he doesn’t get to go to Suna when Kankuro gets the privilege of travel from being a mayor’s son. Speaking of mayors sons-
“Ya boys are here to spring you.” His mom says as he’s finishing up a mornings worth of dog grooming. Naruto has the bright idea to take Shika to Suna to get him laid. Kiba doubts it will happen but now he owes Naruto big time and wonders if he should ask if he can read minds.
Kankuro’s tracing the scars on Kiba’s arms. They don’t hurt anymore but it’s still an ugly reminder. Kiba had called it “a present from Konoha’s finest,” always defaulting to jokes to keep the mood light.
Kankuro had given Kiba a brief tour of his room; from the various posters of metal and punk bands hung haphazardly to the small woodworking projects he’s accumulated over the years.
(This tour obviously ends with Kiba’s tongue down Kankuro’s throat. While Kiba enjoys hearing his boyfriend enthuse about his projects, that’s not really what his friends drove through a windstorm for)
“D’ya think Shika’s has any luck with Temari?” Kiba says comfortably snuggled up to Kankuro’s side.
“Nope. Which is sad because they’d probably be good together.”
“What’s the holdup?”
“It’s not him. It’s her and the fact that she’s currently into Hinata.”
“Shit, she is hard to compete with.”
“Just hope she doesn’t crush his heart into tiny pieces. That would make things awkward for us wouldn’t it?”
“Meh. Inconvenient more like.”
“Oh yeah I have something for you.” Kankuro suddenly remembers and Kiba pouts when he gets out of the bed.
“Why are you always the one getting me stuff.”
“I just like spoiling you.” He reaches into a drawer on his desk and Kiba hopes he’s not blushing too hard. “Plus, you did come all the way out here and it’s not like Suna weather is nice to you city folk.”
“Said the goth in the desert.”
“I’m committed to my art.” He holds up a chain with a single charm on it. Kankuro continues before Kiba can ask.
“My granny Chiyo gave this charm bracelet a long time ago. Don’t usually wear it because I’m afraid of losing it.”
“And this charm?” Kiba asks placing his hands under it.
“Is my favorite.” It’s a skull, painted a metallic purple with two black gem for eyes. “You gonna turn around so I can put it on you or just stare?”
Kiba’s never been one for jewelry but there’s no way he’s ever taking it off.
+
“So this is famous novio.” Tsume says as Kankuro steps out the car.
“Miss Inuzuka-“
“Please call me Tsume. I don’t know what my son has told you but I’m not that old. Is this for me?” She says pointing to the present in Kankuro’s hands.
“That it is. Kiba said you were also a fan of this brand. Thought you would appreciate it.”
“Oh boy you didn’t have to butter me up I already liked you.”
“It’s no problem Miss Tsume.”
“Come on in Hana just made dinner.”
Kankuro slips into the house and Tsume catches Kiba by the back of his collar. “You didn’t defile my car did you?” She asks him in Spanish.
“Who do you take me for?” Kiba asks, scandalized.
She hooks an arm around his neck and rubs her fist against his head. “I take your for my son.”
Kiba groans but he can’t argue. Lying to his momma is useless anyway. The inevitable punishment is worth it.

In Defense of Haruno Sakura:
Refuting Anti-Sakura Arguments
Ok. So these anti-Sakura arguments literally make me laugh. Read the manga! Guys seriously, this character is literally so misunderstood due to the anime studio’s disgusting misinterpretation and bias against her. I will be refuting the following using canon source material (ie the manga, databooks and hiden novels. The anime, I do not care for, it is mostly filler containing ooc moments so no, I won’t even be discussing anime only content)
More under the cut!
Usefulness
I don’t understand why we’re still arguing this. It’s like the anti’s ignore all her feats because they know their fave can’t even compare. Well here are her feats
Gathered intel on Sasuke and Kabuto (Akatsuki spy)
Defeated Sasori with Chiyo
Healed your faves including, but not limited to Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, Kankuro, Chiyo, everyone in the Shinobi Alliance
Not just healed, but kept Naruto alive long enough for him to get to Minato
Gathered intel on Obito’s Kamui, White Zetsu’s technique
Motivated the whole shinobi alliance
Summoned, Katsuyu, the slug summon, a feat only shown by her and Tsunade
Dimension hopped with Obito, using her byakugou chakra to get Sasuke back
Punched Kaguya, the rabbit goddess and progenitor of Chakra on Earth and broke the horn off her head, allowing Naruto and Sasuke to seal her
Opened a children’s mental health clinic, establishing the shinobi world mental health system
Also, Sakura is a medic-nin. Are we forgetting the amount of lives that she saved? Are we forgetting that medics had a guideline they were meant to follow issued by Tsunade?
First clause (第一項, Daiikkō): “No medic ninja shall ever stop medical treatment until the lives of their party members have come to an end.” (「医療忍者は決して隊員の命尽きるまで治療を諦めてはならない」, “Iryō ninja wa kesshite taiin no inochi tsukeru made chiryō o akiramete wa naranai.”)
Second clause (第二項, Dainikō): “No medic ninja shall ever stand on the front lines.” (「医療忍者は決して最前線に立ってはならない」, “Iryō ninja wa kesshite saizensen ni tatte wa naranai.”)
Third clause (第三項, Daisankō): “No medic ninja shall ever die until they are the last of their platoon.” (「医療忍者は決して小隊の中で最後まで死んではならない」, “Iryō ninja wa kesshite shōtai no naka de saigo made shinde wa naranai.”)
Fourth clause (第四項, Daiyonkō): “Only those medic ninja who have mastered the Strength of a Hundred Technique of the ninja art Creation Rebirth are permitted to discard the above-mentioned laws.” (「忍法創造再生の百豪の術を極めし医療忍者のみ 上記の掟を破棄できる」, “Ninpō Sōzō Saisei no Byakugō no Jutsu o kiwameshi iryō ninja nomi, jōki no okite o haki dekiru.”)
It’s literally stated in the second clause that medic ninja were not supposed to be on the frontlines in battle, they could only disregard the system if they mastered the Strength of a Hundred Technique. It wasn’t until the war that Sakura unlocked the yin seal.
Compared to the other kunoichi in the Naruto series, Sakura has achieved so much more than the kunoichi in her generation, surpassing her own master in her teens.
“Sakura hasn’t shown anything different from her master? Hinata developed her own jutsu.” Well, put it this way. Sakura is a 17 year old in the middle of war, is she really going to be spending time developing new techniques or will she use techniques her master taught her, that she knows she can master and will work in combat. Also, when has Hinata’s lion fist ever done any serious damage? She defeated one juubi fodder? So have all the rookies in her gen. Sakura’s fist may not be anything new but it does work (multiple juubi fodder and Kaguya’s horn say hi), and in combat you have to be able to utilise your skill-set fully rather than have techniques that cannot be optimised.
“Sakura doesn’t have a tragic backstory/She’s too plain to be in the main cast.” Not everyone in this series needs a tragic backstory. Her lack of tragic backstory was evened out by her lack of skill in the beginning of the series.
Sakura was meant to be the girl who didn’t have a tragic backstory, didn’t come from a highly revered clan, or have any special circumstances. Her character is meant to show that just because you are ordinary, does not mean you can’t become extraordinary. She defied the odds and rose up to become a significant kunoichi. Sakura’s character was always about development throughout the story, she was meant to be someone who you watched grow despite her disadvantages.
 “Sakura is selfish”
When has this ever been shown in the manga? Sakura’s motivations throughout the manga are never shown to be selfish. She has always been shown with good intentions.
“Sakura broke her friendship off with Ino for Sasuke” No. If you read the manga and have basic comprehension skills, Sakura broke off her friendship with Ino in order to step out of Ino’s shadow and become her own person. Ino literally degraded her own friend by calling her a bud after she revealed her insecurities. Sakura breaking off her friendship with Ino sparked a rivalry to become the better kunoichi which Ino agreed was a good idea. Sakura putting her forehead protector in the ribbon’s spot should tell you that.
Her confession to Naruto? Her trying to kill Sasuke? Do not forget that the entire Rookie 9 guilt-tripped her. They straight up ganged up on her, Shikamaru told her that a war may start in Sasuke’s name. Add on top of that, Sai, told her, to her face that she was hurting Naruto with her promise. Her wanting to kill Sasuke herself was to prevent Kakashi from killing his own beloved student. So excuse her for trying to prevent conflict as quick as possible. Although her actions weren’t the greatest, her intention was to prevent Naruto from getting hurt, and to prevent the war from happening because of Sasuke.
Her hugging Naruto in front of Hinata even though she knew she loved him? Sakura doesn’t owe Hinata anything. Let’s keep in mind that the two have barely interacted and that Naruto and Sakura have been through thick and thin together at this point in Part II. Her close friend just saved the village whose inhabitants include their friends, her mentor, her parents, her colleagues so it’s easy to see why she was thankful. Also, she called him rash before she hugged him, meaning that he had worried her and she was relieved he was okay from his fight. Why should she feel sorry for a platonic hug she gave to her close friend in front of someone she barely even interacted with.
 “Sakura gets too emotional”
So we’re gonna hate on a character for expressing genuine human emotions. They may be strong 2D characters who can kick anyone in this world’s ass any day, these characters are meant to be representations of actual human beings. To me, Sakura being emotional makes her relatable. Her emotion in each situation is understandable. Let’s also not forget that throughout most of Part II, her and Naruto were under immense pain and stress from Sasuke’s defection and actions. Also, many other Naruto characters such as Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Shikamaru and Hinata have cried on the battlefield. Are we hating on those characters too for crying?
 “Sakura is abusive”
What the heck. Seriously. Her punching Naruto? It only happened like what? Two times. Her punching him in the anime is part of filler, therefore non-canon. The times in the manga, he literally said something stupid. Most friends tend to playfully hit each other. And this is a manga series, anything that happens in real life, is exaggerated upon. Honestly though, have you ever considered that if Naruto felt as if he were being abused he would’ve said/done something about it ages ago? He literally has no problem calling her out. They’re friends. Let’s also not forget that Naruto has been punched by other females including his own mother.
 “Sakura is a fangirl”
Ok. But this was when she was twelve years old. Everyone in her class was a fangirl. One of them was even a stalker. So I don’t see how this argument is a valid one when literally every single girl introduced in the beginning of the series had fangirl tendencies.
Also, Sakura grew out of her “fangirl phase” in the Chunin Exams/Forest of Death arc, where she was willing to allow her team to get eliminated so that Naruto could retake the exams because she believed in his dream of becoming hokage. She also called Sasuke out for being a coward for not doing anything while Naruto had risked his life.
“Sakura guilt-tripped Sasuke into a relationship”
It’s been stated in the manga by Kakashi twice that Sakura’s love for Sasuke was pure and she didn’t even need him to reciprocate her feelings. She only wanted to save him from the darkness and for the real Sasuke to come back. Also, this is Sasuke we are talking about. It would be out of character for him to be guilt-tripped much less a relationship/marriage with someone he doesn’t love. Sasuke literally calls her his wife and states that Sarada is a child born out of their love.
 “Sakura is a bad parent”
Sakura was a single mother for majority of Sarada’s life. She was balancing being a mother while also working so she can financially support her daughter. Parenting skills are often reflected on the child, and so far Sarada has been shown to be kind, polite, ambitious and mature. Things that would have to be taught by the parent. Compared to majority of those in her generation, it is clear that Sarada has been well raised by her mother as the others have been shown to be bratty, lazy or rude. In flashbacks during Gaiden, we saw a loving and affectionate Sakura as a mother, nurturing Sarada and looking after her while sick, while keeping a joyful atmosphere in their home.
“Sakura covered up Karin/Taka.” Given that Sasuke left for his mission early, they either did not get the chance to take a family photo at the time, or, they are all with Sasuke. Sakura obviously wanted to show her daughter her father and so she had to make do with the photo from the Bingo book. Sakura probably covered up Taka as seeing them may lead Sarada to questioning her about Sasuke’s past, something that should be told by Sasuke, not Sakura.
“Sakura is a doormat”
This, to me is hilarious. Where? Sakura has been known to not take anyone’s crap. Whether it be from Naruto, Sai or Sasuke. “Sasuke you say, when has she ever-”
As previously stated during the Chunin Exams arc, she literally called Sasuke a coward for freezing up, and refusing to fight, while Naruto had taken the enemy head on, risking his life. In Chapter 699, while healing the boys, Sakura gets Sasuke to be quiet so she can concentrate as well as, contrary to what anti’s believe, got him to specify his apology.
 “Sakura is flat-chested/ugly”
Now this, is ridiculous. Are we reading the same manga? Sakura is meant to embody feminine qualities as her namesake is the cherry blossom which in Chinese culture is meant to represent female dominance and power. As well as this, Sakura has been called beautiful by multiple male characters throughout the series.
Also, first of all, Sakura is not flat-chested. She has repeatedly been shown to have curves in multiple drawings by Kishimoto, her being flat-chested is something the anime studio made up and cannot let go of.
Second, what does a flat chest have anything to do with a character’s beauty? On the other side of the spectrum, for comparison’s sake, we have Hinata. She has a chest, but canonically she is not beautiful. Kishimoto has stated in the databooks that Hinata is meant to be “frumpy-looking” or plain in every sense. So obviously in the Naruto world, chest size does not correlate with beauty.
 Conclusion
So as you can see, many anti-Sakura arguments are heavily flawed and can be voided just by doing some research. Please guys, be like your faves who have good eyes or glasses (not too much though, don’t want you guys going to jail)

ROASTING A BNHA OC - Nakajimi Aiko
HI YES WE AREN’T DEAD.
We were patiently waiting all this time! You know why? Because the second season of BNHA is out, and since - it seems - we mostly do BNHA on here, then why not wait until some new ocs would come out.
And who are we presenting to you today?
Tumblr media
suukiishie-create’s character, Nakajimi Aiko. This is gonna be one hell of a ride.
Mod Cloud -
Okaaaaaay I'm all fired up !! Yep, this time I'm opening the clash, let's go, shall we ?
Biographical Information
Japanese Name: 中島愛子 Rōmaji Name: Nakajima Aiko Alias: Chīsana Kyojin ( 小さな巨人/ The Little Giant )
> The Little Giant, well that's cute as fuck but I'm sure there's much more names to choose, it's kinda common. ( Just think about the one in Haikyuu, or the soccer team in Inazuma Eleven, for instance... )
Personal Description
Birthday: January 20th Age: 15 Gender: Female Hair Color: Pale Orange
> In all honesty, I was sure she was blonde. Pale Orange is a great color but well... Where's the orange in her hair ? Just say "blonde" and we'll stop here.
Eye Color: Dark Brown Blood Type: A+
Quirk: Size Manipulation / Healing
> HOLY MOTHER FUCKING SHIT. You’re joking, aren’t you ? Really ? But WHY does BnHA OCs NEEDS to have TWO FUCKING Quirks for Arceus' sake ??? I mean, look, size manipulation is already a really nice power but why does she needs to get something else — healing to be precise — to look more badass and shit ? I'm sure healing Quirks are kinda uncommon and it's really — sorry but I can't tell what I think otherwise — stupid to give a power like that without real reason. ( In fact there is below, but for me, it's awful shit. )
Status Status: Alive Occupation: Student Department: Department of Heroes Class: 1 – A Affiliation: Yuuei
Classical shit. :)
Family: Nakajima Hiro (father – Transformation Quirk); Nakajima Kaguya (mother – Quirkless); Shūzenji Chiyo (maternal grandmother – Healing Quirk – Alias: Recovery Girl)
> I'm fucking dying. Recovery Girl, really ? If your OC is Chiyo's grand-child, she should have the same quirk as her, no ? It's fucking logical, I don't even understand why does Recovery Girl is in her bloodline when Aiko has a size manipulation Quirk. The pro hero is just an excuse for « allowing » her to get healing powers. B U L L S H I T.
Love Interest: Bakugou Katsuki
> Like 90% of female OCs (including me) I'm not even surprised. ( Roast asked me to guess with whom that OC was in love. I should have done a bet with them, I won lmao. ) [ Mod Roast: I can confirm and thank god we didn’t LMAO ]
Personality Multiple; Sarcastic; Loud Mouth; Perverted; Sweet; Loyal; Temperamental; Confident
> What is this shit ? Sweet and Perverted aren't AT ALL in the same register, it's awkward for fuck's sake. And I don't get it, « Multiple » ? Does she have some issues as regards her behavior ? Not like bipolarity or whatever but something in that case ? I hope it's written below.
When you first meet her, she comes off as overly dramatic, usually spewing profanity and loves calling hot guys “daddy” out loud.
> Ahem. I'll say nothing about the daddy kink but it's really awkward when we saw her appearance. She looks like a pre-teen, for Aizawa's sake ! [ Mod Roast: And also she’s 15. Everyone there is 15 or 16. Please. DON’T call children ‘daddy’ or ‘mommy’. PLEASE. ]
She has a tendency to fall in love too quickly, and is very protective and jealous over her love interests.
> I like this part, I admit it. (Not because my baby is jealous as fuck over her boyfriend because she feels too insecure, no no)
Her size manipulation is tied into her emotions, so it is very common for her to shrink and grow randomly throughout the day.
> Well, that's nice to know but why is that iin her personality description ? You can explain that her Quirk is linked to her emotions or something like that, but I think it's not useful to say in that way she is changing her size whenever she feels anger or happiness, I don't know. Maybe you can develop the idea and change the way you have explain that part. That'll be better and more interesting.
She may be over the top and crazy, but she has an amazing heart and is the best friend anyone could ask for, going completely out of her way for loved ones. Basically if you can get past the initial judgement she is bae. (This description was not written by me)
> It's not bad at all, but I think «judgment» is a bit too much. She is a selective person ? You don't explain it, so I don't fully understand your OC's personality. Oh well, that's maybe because this description isn't even a description. For instance, mine are LITTERALLY a novel. Ask Roast if I'm lying, they always read my shit when I'm finishing my OCs' datas. [ Mod Roast: YOU COULD MAKE A FUCKING BIBLE WITH ONE OF HER DESCRIPTIONS. Mod Cloud is a MONSTER. ]
What. It's your OC and you haven't wrote it by yourself ? I don't judge it because you may have faith in your friend's ability in writing — and that's nice of you — but you haven't put something else in the paragraph ? You just copy-pasted it and that's done ? I really feel stupid to be honest ‘cause I'm roasting your OC but you didn’t even wrote the whole thing and I'm doing a critic about your friend's work. Your OC is even worse than I thought, because you didn’t even take the time to use your friend's work to develop better your OC.
History Before joining U.A., she had a relatively normal childhood, considering her mother is Quirkless.
> What's the problem with the fact that her mother is Quirkless ?
Her father has worked with her since she was a young child to try to teach her how to control her size manipulation. Her father is a huge pervert, which really helped shape her personality.
> That's nice her father has an influence in her character, even if it's not in the best way lmao. [ Mod Roast: It’s also pretty disgusting that she was influenced in that way, yuk. Like that’s her father, for fuck’s sake. Don’t talk about boobs and daddy kinks with your fucking father. HE SHOULD ACTUALLY DO THE OPPOSITE, LIKE, THAT’S ALSO A FATHER’S JOB. ]
She has never met her maternal grandparents, after hearing about her grandfathers death she decided to seek out her grandmother, wanting to build a relationship with her, though she only knows her real name, not her alias, only knowing she works at U.A, which is why she chose this school.
> I almost laughed, it looks like a stalker's story. That's almost ridiculous, that's the only reason she enteed Yuuei ? Don't you know that phones and Internet and rendez-vous exists ? That's pretty awkward.
Her mother ran away as a child because she was Quirkless and felt like she was letting her mother down though it wasn’t something she could control.
> Just what the fuck is this thing ? Recovery Girl isn't the kind of person who thinks that way, I'm almost sure. Plus that's useless, you put those words here and that's it. That's  not even a story, that's too short. Work on it for Bakugou's short sake, I feel ashamed like crazy. [ NMod Roast: Recovery Girl being someone who works in the medical department, it’s very unlikely she would be mean with quirkless people. Just saying. It’s like saying that a doctor would discriminate a patient because they have an handicap. ]
And yeah, that’s- that’s it, there’s nothing else to day, I’m done.
Mode Roast -
Oh boy of boy, with what shoudl I begin. Well with the beginning of course ahaha, hm sorry. I lied we’re going to begin with the quirk.
Quirk and Abilities Body Size Transformation (Bodi Saizu Henkan / ボディサイズ変換 ): The ability to resize your body at any time, making one-self extremely small or large at will. Healing ( Hīringu / ヒーリング ): The ability to heal others by touching them with the palm of the hand. Healing is limited and only works in small spurts. --hand me down power from an relative. Strength Proportioning (Kyōdo Puro Po /  強度プロポ): Her strength is proportionate to whatever size her body is, i.e. she will not have super human strength if she is shrunken down to the size of a flea.
WE’RE STARTING WELL IT SEEMS. Do I really need to explain why the “strenght proportioning” isn’t a quirk? That shit’s normal. Did you know that a spider’s web is one of the most resistant materials? But why can a person break it easily? Because of our size too baby, boom. If you piut more strigns together, it’ll be more resistant. So sorry to break it to ya but that ain’t a quirk.
Also why the fuck does she needs two quirks. She can already become gigantic and small at will, like, isn’t that enough?! A character doesn’t need to have two or more quirks to be strong, look at the characters in the show! All of them have their unique ways to be strong in their own way, even the characters that aren’t in class A in the first place! And what’s that, a relative gave their powers to her? Don’t you know that only All Might has this kind of quirk with the One For All, as Izuku stated it in one of the episodes, that we never heard about a quirk that could be passed to someone else? Work more.
Other Statistics
-   Hero Status    - Power: 4/5 B Speed: 2/5 D Technique: 3/5 C Intelligence: 5/5 A Cooperativeness: 0/5 F
-   Fight    - Leadership: 5/5 Physical Strength: 4/5 Stamina: 3/5 Observation: 4/5 Agility: 3/5 Mental Strength: 3/5 Willpower: 5/5
Why is her cooperativeness so damn low, what does she wanna prove;; ALSO THIS IS BULLSHIT, SINCE HER LEADERSHIT IS 5/5. A leader also has to know how to cooperate, that is BASIC AS FUCK. And the fact that she seems unable to cooperate also makes me doubt about her super intelligence right there miss.
Trivia - Aiko is no.23 in Class 1-A. - Her name Nakajima Aiko 中島愛子  means Little Love Island ; her nickname is Ai. - She ranked 11th during the Entrance Exam, with 41 rescue points and 7 villain points. - She also ranked 11th for the Quirk Apprehension Test. - She uses mainly her Body Size Transformation Quirk to stay small. - She uses her Healing Quirk a lot in battle even though it drains her physical energy. - She uses her Body Size Transformation Quirk to become large as a last resort.
Yeah so 11 is kinda her lucky number I guess. That means she took Kouda’s place for the quirk apprehention test and someonelse’s place, isn’t that beautiful. Well it’s only natural since she’s in class A, right.
★ Conclusion:
Mod Roast: Bad. Bad. MS. Two quirks. Not developped enough. *sprays water* Go. Away.
Mod Cloud: Is that even an OC? Holy shit...

i know i JUST did this with the pony au but.. been thimking of.. saiki k spidersonas.. head in hands..
let me give u my ideas😋
this is just a brainstorm dont judge if its cringe
chiyo- love bite
pink+orange suit
HEAVY on the mask eyeliner
suit has a cute lil skirt, both cuz its just cute and fun and cuz she was insecure about the way the skintight suit looked
"i stained my mask with lipstick.. why did i do that..." (continues doing it)
eventually she just makes a mask that doesnt cover her mouth and realizes she shouldve just done that in the first place cuz one of her powers is her sharp ass venomous teeth😭(venom only deadly if she bites for a REALLY long time)
also for some reason i think one of her powers would be like an ABSOLUTELY EAR SPLITTING SHRIEK.. not bad enough to make people go deaf, but it seriously disorientates them and makes their ears ring
shun- jet black widow
blue+black (+red accents? maybe yellow to go with his whole thunder thing)
bat wings on his suit.. can he fly?? prob not.. sure can glide though!!
aren- the demon killer ??? (just his gang alias, idk what else to name him)
purple+black (+red accents?) ((matching with shun?🤔)
i feel like his only power would be super strength (but like.. SUPER super strength.. bros crazy strong already so...) and he would have to manually create a suit that gives him more spider-like capabilities.. why did he need to become a spider-person instead of just being a regular superhero?? um cuz its cool and his friends were doing it obviously..
kokomi- heart slinger
blue+white
her suit also has a cute lil skirt, mostly cuz she didnt want annoying guys to be weird about the skintight suit
y'all know miss heed from villainous??? she prob has powers like that but yk.. less evil
i also imagine one of her powers being that shes somewhat indestructible.. like thats exaggerative ofc but it probably takes a LOT for her to bruise or bleed and she can take a lot of pain.. it just feels right to me, fitting for her perfect girl thing..
mikoto- tiger spider
BRIGHT pink+animal print
COVERED in what looks like stickers but is actually just cute little images embroidered on the suit
can obv still see the future like in canon.. cant decide if she has other powers naturally too
i kind of imagine her just updating kusuo on the sidelines or something but that might make her seem like too much of a sidekick and i dont like that so maybe she stays with him and does her predictions right there
maybe shes like aren and just has the one power but has special suit technology.. kusuo prob helps her, which i'll talk about in a second
ALTERNATIVELY she could be like peni parker and have a robo suit (covered in stickers and very decorated..) where she can safely do her predictions while controlling the suit.. she could use both interchangeably or either one idk
BIG social media following.. posts EVERYTHING.. pisses kusuo tf off
kusuo- cyborg spider man / psi bug
the media calls him the first name because its a running bit and hes PISSED about it
was thinking he'd just be plain spiderman but there has to be at least some sort of theme to go with his limiters sticking tf out the mask
despite already being the most powerful, his suit is the most technologically advanced.. hes just seriously really extra, bro prob made big spider legs sticking out the suit even though he can fly and defy gravity already.. he doesnt need them.. but it sure does look cool..
helps the others make advancements in their suits too
he'd prob have different limiters in this au too, like ones that limit in different amounts so he can fight efficiently
fyi he did NOT want to be a spider person cuz ew spiders but after a power reveal to his friends and them all having some weird accident or something and getting these superpowers snd THIS was the gimmick they went with.. he didnt have much of a choice
anywayyyyyyy most of them prob have secret identities and dont wanna be public (for various reasons) but miko would definitely just tell everyone who she is.. kusuo would constantly be having to protect her from stalkers and the like when shes just trying to live her life
kokomi prob tried to be secret at first just to prevent having MORE stalkers and general crazy people surrounding her every day life, but she would def be the first person to be exposed by the public because.. well, the media would be OBSESSED with her but also, shes just really obvious and doesnt realize shes not being subtle at all.. prob has all her long blue hair out of her suit and everything.. eventually she prob decided against having a mask at all (or just having one around her eyes) cuz being pretty and perfect adds to her whole thing
kusuo is pissed at both of them cuz he seriously cant handle hanging out with them in public now.. like if it was bad before, its terrible now
alsooo i was thinking about whether or not all his friends knew each others secret identities from the start or not and i started considering like if they didnt at first, yumehara would have a crush on kaido or the jet black widow and i was thinking theyd team up or something and she'd be like ugh i cant crush on this guy, i have kaido !!! and then i realized, this is just miraculous, i was making yumekai miraculous 😭😭
is kusuke a supervillain? ehhhh, probably nottt, he'd prob be similar to how he is in canon.. jealous and obsessive over his brother but doesnt really care about anything or anyone else enough to really be evil, he prob creates crazy supervillain esque tech that could rival the heroes easily but only uses it in private against kusuo cuz he wants to prove he can beat him.. kusuo comes back from his brothers place absolutely BATTERED and bloody and the others are like "?!?!? did u battle someone and not tell us???" and hes like nah i was just hanging out with my brother
just a thought!! i didnt do everyone but with some of the others, i wasnt sure whether i would want them to be spider people in this au or not, like maybe theyd have some other role ?? would not be opposed to it though if anyone else has ideas for it or if i think of something..

My Opinion on;
Character in general:  Alright, Since Amor runs a multi-muse blog, there are going to be quite a few here! I’ll start out with Shisui. I love Shisui. He is an Uchiha, one of my faves. Hell, all Uchiha are my faves, might as well come out and say it. I love how he foils Itachi but there are still things they agree upon--I like the fact that he is loyal and caring, but still strong enough to kick ass if need be.
Deidara. I loved him from the beginning--just for his hairstyle. And his handmouths. And the fact that he loved explosions--and when I found out his backstory..I came to like him even more. He was the youngest Akatsuki member and I think that counts for a lot--he was level headed and an artist--one to rival Sasori. Though they had differing opinions, he was still respectful and that says a lot about his character.
Sasori. Oh my, one of my favorite Akatsuki members. (Yes, he ranks high there). I liked him since I first saw him--I am quite partial to Suna shinobi and to see a puppetmaster in the Akatsuki sparked my interest in him. I particularly liked his backstory, and enjoyed the way it was brought into his final fight. Though, I think he really could have given both Chiyo and Sakura a run for their money if he really wanted to.
Haruno Sakura. I have to admit I found her so annoying the first part of the series and I’ve actually flip-flopped a few times regarding this. Actually, I really did hate her in the beginning--I didn’t like that she was more focused on boys and looks, dieting than trying to live in the world that she was in. It made me mad because I thought she should be tough. But, I saw that physical strength isn’t everything and she is a lot stronger than she looks. I figured out that though she had no kekkei genkai or bijuu--she was strong without it. And that’s what counts.
Hidan. Is definitely rude and disrespectful--sadistic. I love it all. He makes a great character and I particularly love his use of cursing (it reminds me a little of myself) but he is definitely able to call Kakuzu on his bullshit and I loved that too. He is an interesting character because I think it is ironic that his religion calls on him to kill people. There is a lot about him that I find ironic and that kind of makes me laugh. I think he is rather like Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal--sarcastic and disturbing at the same time. And slightly unbalanced.
How they play them: Amor plays each of his characters differently. And I don’t see many multi-muse blogs that can do this--most of them push their personalities together--and I don’t understand how he keeps them all separate, but he does.
I’m going to start with Shisui first because I’ve interacted with him. I love the fact that he’s so playful, but that dark undercurrent is still there--the tension of knowing what might happen--what will happen if they allow the Uchiha to continue. I really feel like Amor breathes life into Shisui because the diction he uses--though it’s still beautiful, it is very, very informal. There’s definitely a more informal quality to Shisui that fits his laid-back personality.
Deidara. Oh, he is very sarcastic, cocky, arrogant. I love how Amor brings those qualities to the forefront, but then under-shadows it with his insecurities. It’s a jarring juxtaposition that makes me want to read more. You’d think that he would somehow show those insecurities, and the tells are there-and they are subtle. It’s the shift in the syntax that particularly shows Deidara’s, rather than the word choice, as with Shisui.
Sasori. Is definitely impatient--and irritable. I haven’t seen many people that can capture this aspect of his personality, the basic “fuck off” that he seems to exude--and Amor creates this tone through word choice--the words here are definitely more stiff, more formal--the sentences are a little more choppy, as if you are hearing Sasori’s thoughts.
Sakura. Amor captures her anger--but also the caring side she hides beneath it--because for her, to care is to worry, and I tend to see in his writing that her irritable side hides her insecurities and anxieties.
Hidan--oh, boy, do I love his Hidan. Alright, I love the way his Hidan is written, from the beginning to end--this particular muse is written--get this--using foul language throughout the reply, not just within his dialogue. It gives an insight into Hidan’s thoughts that we don’t see much, but I particularly enjoy. That, and the witty one-line thoughts at the end--yes!!
The Mun: Amor is very nice and understanding!!! Really--he’s amazing to talk with ooc, and is an amazing artist--hearing his headcanons regarding Shisui is always nice--really, a breath of fresh air!
Ship their Character with mine: I’m up for it if you are! (If we thread and it goes that way, well, it goes that way~)
Do I:
RP with them: Yes.Want to RP with them:  Yes. Definitely. Always.
What is my;
Overall Opinion: Amor masterfully writes each of his muses and is able to bring out each nuance in their personality. He runs one very, very, very nice blog. The writing is easy to understand, beautiful. Yes, another of my instant follows~
**Note: Mun’s answer are all to be completely honest. Don’t send url if you don’t want brutal honesty
