Build-a-Colonel
Surveying the area. A common pastime of many KorTac employees. Checking out an environment before a big raid.
The EuroCity Mall, Austria, a favourite rendezvous for kids and adults alike.
You walked next to the Colonel, not in your military gear but in your civilian clothes, scouting out the vicinity. He was going to be the battering ram, the first through the main doors, and you, you were going to be crawling through the vents, making your way to the hidden mass weapon store, the only one on the team small enough to do it.
Other KorTac soldiers were swarming the place as you two walked, mapping out their own routs whilst inconspicuously perusing the shelves.
The illegal weapons trade that had been going on for months was soon to come to an end.
"Ooo, I didn't know they had a Build-a-Bear here!" You say to König with a smile, holding onto his large arm, looking like the lovely married couple you were... pretending to be.
You can't say you didn't like it. To be quite honest you were loving pretending to date the Colonel... even if it was only going to be for a few hours and König, he didn't hate it.
He looking down at his adorable not wife as she pulled him towards the store, looking at the latest collaboration they had on display in the windows.
He sighed, smiling lightly, he could get used to this, having a pretty woman on his arm, laughing at his jokes, looking at him as though he mattered... just looking at him to be honest.
"I always wanted to go to here as a kid." He said with a chuckle.
You look up at him, big doe eyes gleaming. It was getting more and more difficult for him to tell if this was an act or not... curse his inexperience with women.
"Did you ever get to go?" You ask, tilting your head to the side.
He shook his head.
"My mother sent out invitations for my birthday party, but no-one wanted to come. I didn't have many friends growing up, I've always been this... big. Too scary for ze other kids."
He tilted his head attempting to look indifferent and brush it off.
You literally thought you were about to cry.
"When's your birthday?"
He thought for a moment.
"...7 months away."
"Well..." you think for a moment, searching for an excuse, "well, it's going to be today, okay?"
He looks at you with slight confusion but doesn't fight back as you pull him into the store.
A few heads turn at the sheer size of him, but you pay it no mind, you are on a mission... and not the one you came in for.
"Choose your bear!" You say with a smile looking up at your not Husband.
"Schatz... it's okay really, I am too old for bears, I-"
"I said, choose your bear!" You repeated like a television announcer, showcasing the bears.
"Ooo, this one's so soft and he looks just like you." You say picking up a fluffy blonde one.
He rolled his eyes playfully at your determination, picking up a bear.
"And zis one looks like you." He said with a slight smile holding another fluffy bundle of fabric.
"We can make each other!" You said, beginning to smile broadly.
He didn't fight you, enjoying your excitement as you got one of the employees to help with hearts and stuffing.
He was a bit reluctant to do the dance and kiss the heart but he didn't mind so much after you gave the little stuffed heart a kiss first. Talking about how the bears need both parent's love.
His favourite part was picking out the clothes, chuckling as you tried to recreate his military look. He was actually very good at picking out your style, it seemed he had paid attention to your weekend attire around base.
When it came time to pay you put your card on the scanner and he was not pleased.
"You can't pay for your own birthday!" You say in protest.
"But it's not even my birthday!"
"It is today!" You say in rebuttal.
He couldn't stay mad at you, that sweet little smile. No-one had ever done something this spontaneous, this thoughtful, this selfless for him before... he wished you really were his wife.
A soft smile remained on your face throughout the rest of your walk around the mall. A smile that he couldn't help but steal glances at periodically, thank goodness for his height or he might have been caught.
Upon getting back to the base you each went to your own rooms to get changed.
Later in the evening you wanted to have a bear reveal.
König had just gotten back from dinner in the canteen, he was walking about his room, going about his evening tasks when he heard a soft knock on the door.
There stood you, box in hand, wanting to come in. You looked so precious in your little pyjamas, he feared he was becoming obsessed.
"I present to you, drum roll please, Colonel Junior!" You announce holding the bear up to him.
You were both sat in front of each other, cross legged on his bed. You were cross legged, he was trying to the best of his abilities.
A beat of silence passed, you thought he was just in awe of the bear... potentially.
"That is not me." He says, completely stone cold, deadpan.
Your face falls for a second. Did he not like going to Build-a-Bear with you? You felt your bottom lip tremble a little. Was it all just an act for the undercover surveying? How could you have been so stupid... You really thought the Colonel wanted to become your friend?
"He does not have a mask!" König finishes.
"Come on, I have some supplies in my office."
As he began to get up off the bed, the mattress squeaking under his weight you just remained seated. Then you snapped back to reality, quickly manoeuvring to follow him as a wave of relief washed over you, so he really did love Colonel bear.
The two of you spend the evening bleaching a mini mask made of an old t-shirt for the bear, getting the tear stain design just perfect.
You laugh about having dual custody of your children and König played along too.
Since the bears were made, the two of you brought them over to each other's barracks every evening. No matter how difficult training was that day, it was your little escape, smiling with each other as you watched a movie, had a tea party, played dress-up and more.
It was becoming increasingly obvious that these little play dates were not for the sake of the children, but an excuse to hang out with each other.
Only when the two of you sat on the Colonel's bed, bears in your laps, watching a movie, did he finally lean over and kiss you as the credits rolled by.
He had been waiting all movie to do so, finally, building up the courage by the end.
The kiss is long, but not rough, just calm, pleasant. Eventually the two of you pull away, gazing into each other's eyes.
"Not in front of the children." You say giggling a little, breaking eye contact and covering your bear's eyes with your hand.
He chuckled lightly but not for long as you leaned in this time, your lips meeting his once more.
He had finally gotten his dream come true... and he wasn't thinking of the Build-a-Bear.

Sniper x Reader, "Quick Trip"
a sniper x reader smutfic! tw for afab anatomy, the implications of the word 'sheila'. enjoy!
August. One of the hottest months of the year, not to mention it was the hottest day in New Mexico yet. A ceasefire had been called until further notice, the temperature being down right deadly. There was no shade for miles, within the border of the Badlands.
Which just so happened to be where you lived. Your residence, currently, was Teufort's RED base. You had been on base for a couple of years now, you got along with everyone well enough; Some more than others.
Which leads you to the current situation.
You see, Sniper was about to leave on a joint-contract with Scout; Somewhere not nearly as blazing hot. And he was going to be gone for almost two weeks. Clearly, this didn't bode well with you as you stood, with crossed arms, in front of him. You had been begging him all day to let you tag along, but he refused, insistently.
"Mundy, this isn't fair! The AC in the base is broken, you gotta—!"
"I said no, sheila," he cut you off, his tone stern. Of course, you didn't take well to being talked over, especially by your boyfriend. You furrowed your brow, opening your mouth to speak, when you were interrupted, yet again.
"Sick! Ya coming with us?" Ah, Scout. His Boston accent never failed to amuse you, especially with the mischievous glint in his eyes whenever he spoke. He smiled wide, hopeful that you could maybe make the car ride a little less dull. Sniper usually wasn't one for small talk, you were lucky if you could even get a head nod out of him.
"No." "Yes!"
You and Sniper said in unison, he shot you a nasty side eye from behind his aviators. You never understood how Sniper was able to take the heat so easily. He was still wearing his full uniform, boots and all. You had half a mind not to strip naked with how unbearable the temperature was. However, still somewhat sane, decided against that and listened to your better judgement for once.
"Aw, c'mon, Snipes, let 'em tag along! At least they talk," Scout tried to reason, taking your side. Sniper sighed dramatically, grumbling something you couldn't quite understand. He crossed his arms over his chest, looking down at you.
"You're both insufferable. Get in." Your eyes lit up immediately. You had gotten your way, per usual. You clambered into the vehicle, sitting directly in the middle between the other two mercenaries. The black leather seats had definitely seen their fair share of wear and tear, various holes burned from dropped cigarettes, some exposed, yellow foam from the peeling material... But Sniper loved his van. In between your legs was the comically long stick-shift. The handle was slightly chipped away and the design faded from being used so often. Sniper refused to drive anything but manual, because it's 'the right way' he said. With a loud sigh, Sniper had pulled himself in on the driver's side, buckling his seat belt in one swift motion. He clicked the key forward in the ignition, the camper sputtering to life. It was definitely old and in desperate need of repair. The bushman reached forward for the gearshift, his rough hands accidentally brushing the top of your knee as he put the car into 1st gear. Normally, gestures such as this didn't get to you. But, something felt off about it this time.
The first 10 minutes of the car ride turned out to be a bust. Sniper was too focused on the road and Scout was knocked out, cold. The only sound was the distant crackling of the radio and the soft snores from your teammate. You had one exciting moment when Sniper went to shift to 3rd, his hand grazing your leg yet again. You shot him a quick glance, unsure if it was on purpose on not. Sniper wasn't one to tease. You leaned forward with a sigh, slightly turning the dial on the radio to the right. It was set on a classic rock station currently playing a song by Men At Work. You didn't know much about the band, besides the fact Sniper really liked them.
"I love this song." Sniper's gruff voice had come out slightly whispery. You squirmed a little in your seat. Did he always have this affect on you? His Aussie accent had rang through you ears. It was such a simple string of words, but coupled with the fleeting touches, it was... different. About an hour and a half into the car ride, Sniper made the executive decision to stop at a gas station a couple miles up the road. With Scout still asleep, Sniper pulled up to the pump, slamming the breaks to scare the sleeping Bostonion awake. With an abrupt 'oof', Scout was up and ready to fight immediately.
"What—! What is it?! What happened, are we dead??" He yelped, looking around frantically. Scout paused, huffing when he saw that you were all just in park. "You guys are freakin' assholes, I'm gonna go take a leak."
With the 3 of you filing out of Sniper's front seat, you watched as Scout stretched and walked towards the gas station itself. Behind you, Sniper had already unscrewed the gas cap, removing the nozzle and forcing it into the tank. With a simple 'click', diesel fluid immediately began pouring out. Sniper stared at it for a second before abruptly pulling on the handle of the side door of the van, exposing the inside to you. Confused, you looked up at him.
"I told ya I didn't want you coming on this trip, roo." His tone was dark, almost sadistic. Your brows pinned up, a bit of fear beginning to creep through your system. Sniper never took a tone with you. He turned to you, his eyes hidden behind his yellow-tinted aviators. You swallowed thickly, afraid of what was next. "Come here."
You obeyed, stepping closer to him timidly. Immediately, you were manhandled, almost thrown into the back of his camper van. You stared in surprise, yelping as he slammed the door closed behind the both of you. You didn't have time to react before he was on you, his mouth meeting yours. The kiss wasn't pretty or experienced as his teeth clacked against yours, his lips bruising and hungry. He must've been pent up, watching you flaunt yourself around in that low-cut tanktop and those too-short shorts. Just as fast as he had started, he had pulled away. The marksman looked you up and down, as if you were nothing but prey.
"This is the entire reason I didnt want'cha to come, darl'. Just can't keep my bloody hands off ya."
A flash of red was all you saw before you were flipped onto your stomach, Sniper using his long limbs to entangle your arms behind your back. He had you like a wrangled animal, trapped and helpless. He grunted quietly, cursing under his breath as he kept you pinned with one arm. He used his one free hand and made quick work of your bottoms, sliding them, along with your underwear, down to rest just below your ass. You jolted at the feeling of his caloused hand immediately delving into your folds, as if to relax you. A low whimper left your throat, the feeling of his long, thick fingers tracing themselves inside of you, curling to hit the right spot.
You didn't have much time, however, and Sniper knew this. He retracted his fingers, sucking whatever juices was on them off. The clinking of a belt, along with shuffling fabric excited you further. Although you couldn't look back, you could feel him start to guide his long length towards your aching hole. He slid into you, slowly. Sniper wasn't thick per se, but he was definitely long. The head of his cock practically kissed your insides in all the right places. With how wet you were, you didn't need much time to accommodate his size. Snapping his hips into your ass, you could feel every drag of his cock, every pulse and vein. His pace started off bruising, the hand keeping you pinned down began leaving crescent-shaped indents from his fingernails.
There was something primal about this. The heat had burned extra hot that day, and so did your lover, it seemed. He reached his free hand under you, beginning to rub sloppy circles on your clit. Shortly after, you eyes had screwed shut, a line of drool beginning to leak from your mouth. The campervan had rocked slightly with each thrust, your pants and pleas falling upon deaf ears as Sniper used your body. It wasn't long until you tried to warn him, maybe a little too late.
"Mick, I—!" Before you could continue, you had came, your own moan cutting you off. Sniper had a sick, twisted smile, letting go of your arms to focus fully on grabbing your hips. He had started slamming your overstimulated, quivering cunt back into him. It sent shocks through your body, the pleasure quickly turning to pain as it became too much
"Fuck, I love ya, roo. I'm gonna fill ya right up, make ya mine." His thrusts grew erratic, almost sloppy, as a string of curses and praise left his lips as he hilted himself fully inside of you. You heard a small groan, followed by some deep breaths as Sniper came inside of you. With a groan, he pulled out, his cock growing softer by the second. He yanked his pants up, buckling his belt back with extreme ease and skill. There was no time for aftercare. He helped you slide your clothes back up, your trembling thighs sending delight through him. He picked his slouch hat up from off the ground, dusting it off. He held a crooked smile as he placed it atop your head, the hat much too big for you. He had finished pumping gas, screwing the cap back on before leaning against the front of his Chevy.
"Where's Scout?"
"I paid him $20 to piss off somewhere for like half an hour. He'll be back soon, love."

How to stay with you
Reiner Braun x male reader
Set during the attack on Marley. You joined the others as they venture to Marley to retrieve Eren but that isn't your goal. Instead your goal is to find Reiner after he left 5 years ago. Nobody knows of this goal so you must act accordingly and not mess up. This could be the last time you get to see the man you once loved....
Hope you all enjoy! :)
Tumblr media
The air was cold. It felt like small blades were brushing past your cheek. You sat on top of a roof, rifle in your right hand. Your mission was to fire at any guards who may pose a threat. You and the others conducted this plan when Eren had sent a letter informing the squad of his situation. That's what landed you here. Except you're not here for the same reason as the others. Everyone else that came here is here for one thing. That thing being Eren. Instead you're here for someone else. For Reiner.
You and Reiner were close back then. During your time in training you and him formed a bond. A bond that evolved into something more. You and him grew closer. That was until that dreaded day. Him and Bertholdt confessed to being the Armored and Colossal titans. You never saw him after that day. The last time you had a glimpse was during the recapture of Wall Maria. After that he was just a distant memory. You swore to yourself that you would find him again. He left you a letter after the confession. He wrote of his feelings and how he wished he could undo it all just to stay with you. That was the driving factor for you joining the others today.
You scouted the area. Looking for any sign of Reiner. Taking this position was a smart choice . You're away from what is to come but also able to clearly see everyone. You turned back to look at the stage. There was some event. Not like you cared. You were too far from it to even make out a word being said.
“Hey, L/N” You turned back to face whoever called you. “Stay focused on the mission.” He ordered. You nodded as you went to get back in position. Suddenly there was commotion. A light flashed behind you and the ground shook. *What was that?* you thought to yourself.
“Eren” Was all you heard from your comrades. You gasped. If Eren’s there then Reiner must be close. You hung your rifle over your shoulder as you prepped your ODM gear.
“Hey, wait!” Someone else called out. You weren't meant to leave your area but if there was a chance then you had to act on it. This could be the only chance of seeing Reiner again.
You landed on a roof by the commotion. There was already so much destruction. It looked like the fight had been going on for a while. You saw Eren holding some crystal. It looked like a shell. Like what Annie used to protect herself. Was that another titan? You shake the thought out of your head. No point in worrying about what it is. You didn't care. You surveyed the area. Looking for any sign of Reiner. Something caught your attention. An armoured casing. It was away from the fight so you assumed it was made for protection. It looked similar to the armoured titans armour. It was him.
Your eyes widened. You prepped your ODM gear again as you made your way to it. Avoiding getting caught up in the confrontation happening beside you. You failed the landing. Too anxious for what's about to come. You quickly picked yourself up and ran to the structure. “Reiner!” You shouted. The hole to enter looked tight but you could fit. You squeezed through, and fell to the ground of the structure. Your head raised examining the figure in front of you. It's him.
“Oh god, Reiner” You scrambled towards him. Your hands resting on his shoulders. He looked like shit. He looked thinner and his hair looked unkept. “Hey man, It's me Y/N” You began to shake his shoulders, trying to wake him. Was he dead? No. There's no way. His chest is moving. He's alive. “You gotta wake up. Outside is a mess.” Reiners eyes began to move slightly. He opened them slowly. He couldn't tell if he was dreaming. Were you really there right now? You felt a smile grow onto your face.
Before saying another word, your attention was taking off of Reiner as you heard shouting. “REINER!” It sounded like a girl. “GALLIARD IS ABOUT TO BE EATEN. HELP US REINER!!” She sounded desperate. This seemed to capture Reiner’s attention too. He must know her.
“Go” You turned to face him. He still looked like shit but his eyes showed something. Something that resembled fear.
“Huh?” You looked at him. Go where? You were confused.
“Get out of here, Y/N.” You furrowed your brows. “Please” He sounded empty. His voice felt like it lost its charm. Instead of having its once confident essence, it now carried a feeling of desperation. You complied. Reiner watched as you left the structure. He waited a few seconds, hoping it was enough for you to get out of the way.
You landed up on the roof. Landing beside Jean, Connie and Sasha. “Y/N?” Sasha looked at you. “You're not meant to be over here.” Before you could come up with a reason you all felt a gust of air and witnessed a yellow flash. You turned to see Reiner. He was in his Armoured titan form. It looked different. You gripped the grapples of your odm gear. He had less armour. He didn't transform to fight. If he did then he would have more protection. Suddenly it hit you. This fucker wants to die. You grit your teeth. In no way will you let that happen. You didn't come out here just to watch him kill himself.
You looked at your friends. Their faces showed fear and shock. They weren't expecting Reiner to be here. You turn back to see Eren about to swing at Reiner. Your eyes widened. Why isn't Reiner trying to protect himself? Instead you notice his hand reaching for the titan in Eren’s grasp. You assumed that was who the girl that screamed was referring to. That was why he transformed. To save whoever was in that titan. You pulled your blades out from their resting place before attaching two grapples to Eren. “Y/N! What are you doing?” Jean shouts out at you, reaching his hand out to try and stop you.
You shouted out as you sliced through Eren’s arm before his hit could land on Reiner. Time felt like it stood still. You just deemed yourself a Traitor to everyone. You went against the mission. Eren’s roar echoed throughout the city. His arm fell to the ground. You landed on the roof opposite of where you jumped from. The people on the other side began to move. Were they moving towards you or to begin an attack on Reiner? Shit. You begin to run, grappling to a building close to you and moving behind Eren. You pulled yourself up mid air. “REINER!” you shouted. You watched as his head raised to look at you. Even in titan form he looked empty. “FIGHT!” You roared out. This seemed to motivate Reiner.
Reiner reached forward, grabbing at the limbless jaw titan that rested in Eren’s hand. He pulled at it, causing Eren to stumble and release his grip. He pushed at Eren. Reiner gripped onto the titan as hard as he could. He threw the limbless titan away from the action. To safety. Eren had already eaten the War Hammer titan, he wasn't getting another. The two titans began to brawl.
You zipped around the battlefield. Trying to avoid contact with anyone. You had to find an opening to get Reiner out of here. You were taking out of your thoughts when someone crashed into you. They tackled you to the ground, and forced your arms behind your back. You shouted out. “Get off me!” You grunted as they applied more pressure. You turned to face who it was. Jean? He seemed distressed.
“What are you doing Y/N? Why help the enemy?” He looked hurt from your actions. You took in a shaky breath as the pain of your position started to kick in.
“Let me go!” You didn't have time for simple conversations anymore. You hoisted your body up, fighting the weight of his body on yours. This caused his grasp on you to loosen . You pulled your arm away as you spun around, swinging your fist at his face. Jean fell to your side, his hands covering his nose. You felt guilty. He didn't deserve to get hit like that. You cared for Jean, but you weren't letting anyone get in your way. Not when your goal is so close.
You quickly regain your footing and grapple towards Reiner. You hang from the back of his neck, in front of his nape. “Reiner it's me again. I'm gonna need you to get rid of the armour on your nape so I can pull you out.” You get swung to the side as Reiner takes a hit. You felt the security of your grapple diminish. You couldn't stay up here for much longer. Either the grapple fails or someone comes and takes you out. “Reiner please, I'm begging. I know how you feel. How you wish to die but this isn't that moment. I didn't risk my life out here to just let you die so easily.” Your words hurt Reiners heart. Why did you still care about him? He felt his eyes water as the armour on his nape crumbled off. Your eyes focused on the man emerging from the titan. His hair flowed as steam came out from the nape. How could someone look so majestic when they are so close to death?
You took action quickly. Any second wasted could lead to both of your demise. You watched as he came out from his titan. His arms and legs are still attached to it. You pulled out your blade. “This may hurt” You warned him before slicing at the flesh connecting the two. Surprisingly you didn't hit him. His limbs remained intact. “Hold on” You said as you turned and prepared to boost away. His arms wrapped around your waist. You felt your breath hitch. It finally hit you that Reiner is right here. Now all you need to do is run. Your grapple attached to a building in front of you.  His grip tightened around you. Was he scared? “Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you.” You pulled yourself away from the titan. Just in time as Eren swung at it, knocking it down.
You heard Levi’s voice. “Sasha!” His voice cut through the air like a knife through bread. You could tell he was angry. Their mission wasn't to capture Reiner so why is he this worked up. Is he mad about your betrayal? You didn't care. You weren't staying to find out.
Levi landed beside Sasha. Her eyes were locked onto you. “Sasha, shoot him.” Levi pointed towards you. Sasha slowly turned towards him.
“What-” She was shocked by the request. She couldn't shoot a friend. Even if you did betray them. Levi’s glare was strong. She was sure he didn't want to do this but it had to be done. She nodded reluctantly as she aimed her rifle to face you. You were moving fast, she wasn't sure if she could land the shot. Honestly, she prayed that she couldn't.
The sound of a gunshot rang through the battlefield. It shocked both you and Reiner. You looked behind you to see Sasha lowering her weapon. Did she try to shoot you? Why didn't it hit? She rarely misses a shot.
“Whoops. I missed” She said as she hung the rifle over her shoulder. Levi lowered his head. She missed on purpose and he knew that. He kinda wished she was going to miss. You didn't deserve death. Nothing you did was wrong. All you did was save the man you cared for.
You sighed as you landed. You made it far enough for it to be safe. You watched as the airships began to leave, along with your friends. You felt weird. Did you start to regret your actions? What you did finally hit you. You turned to look at Reiner sitting behind you. He was curled up. His arms rested on his knees. His hands over his eyes as his chest heaved. He was crying.
“Why.” He took a deep breath. “Why did you help me?” He lifted his head, his eyes locking in with yours. “After all I've done in the past. Why put in the effort to save me?” You had a shocked expression on your face. Did he really think down on himself like this? That he didn't deserve to be saved after everything he's done?
“Remember during the battle of Trost when my gear broke? I thought I was done for. That was until you came. It was the first time you saved me, and you continued to do so many times after. I know that you've killed many people in your life and honestly you deserve to face the punishment for that.” You inhaled slowly. Both of your eyes never left each other's. “But now wasn't that time. We made a promise that we would protect each other. When you left it hurt like hell. I loved you Reiner. Living without you was so lonely. Nobody understood me like you did. That's why I saved you.” You stood up as you looked down at him. He began to cry even harder. You slowly made your way towards him. You knelt down and wrapped your arms around him. Reiner leaned into your embrace. “I didn't mean for the destruction of your city. It seemed like a nice place but this was the only way to get to you.” You admitted. He held onto your harder. He missed how you held him.
“I missed you” Was all Reiner could get out. He never felt this emotional for someone before. You pulled away from the hug, cupping his face in your hands.
“Me too” You smiled before leaning in. Your lips met his. It was a kiss that was long due. One that you missed. Those five years without each other felt like an eternity. Finally, fate has brought you two back together and you weren't going to let it take him. Not again.

Long way ahead (Postwar!Levi Ackerman x Reader)
Word count: 3 160
Disclaimer: english is not my first language, I apologize in advance for any mistakes
Summary: After years of fear, pain, and fighting, you and Levi finally have the family both of you always dreamed about.
This story can be read on its own or as a part of my little post-war series: Learn to live again
Tumblr media
Long way ahead
The day was beautiful, and the weather almost too perfect. The sky was clear and the sun was shining down on you. On all the Scouts, who once again found themselves outside the Walls in Titan territory. It was supposed to be a so-called training mission.
Everybody was meant to survive and come back home.
It was all going so well. Just until it wasn't. Just until the Female Titan showed up and brought death and destruction with her. In one moment, you were all trying to protect Eren. Petra was right next to you and Eld right in front of you. Oluo and Gunther to your left and behind you. And in the middle, between all of you, was Eren.
You all changed the formation multiple times, just like you were taught. Everybody was as aware of their surroundings as possible. Nobody wanted to die.
Despite that, they were all gone in a blink of an eye. Your squadmates were brutally murdered right before your eyes. Just seconds before the Female Titan threw you against the tree as well.
You didn't even have time to scream out. When your body collided with the tree trunk, pain took your ability to speak and breathe. It felt as if all of your bones broke at the same moment. Shooting out at least one of the hooks of your ODM gear was impossible. You were barely conscious after you hit the tree.
You didn't even notice your body falling. Only when you hit the ground and the air was knocked out of your lungs once again. You didn't even know how, but one of your blades, which was in your hands just seconds ago, went into your left thigh. Hot blood was spilling out of your wound, turning your white pants dark red.
You've never felt pain like that before. Never in your life. Every fiber of your being felt like on fire. Breathing was unbelievably hard. Even the shaking of the ground beneath you, as the Female Titan continued running made you feel immense pain.
What happened to Eren?
Where was he?
You and the others were supposed to protect him. He was humanity's chance to defeat the Titans.
Eren had to survive at any cost.
Eren...
A simple blink was all it took for the scenery around you to change. Suddenly, you weren't in the forest anymore. When you looked up, you saw the sky once again. And Levi with Hange. They were kneeling beside you, both of them looking at you with so much worry in their eyes. Levi... his features were unrecognizable under all the fear. His face was completely pale, his lips pressed into a thin line.
You've never seen him this scared. Never before. And probably never after.
„Don't you dare!“ he hissed through gritted teeth, his hand gently stroking strands of hair away from your face. „I don't want to be alone again,“ Levi whispered, making sure nobody heard him. Except Hange, who was trying to slow down the bleeding from the wound on your thigh.
„Sorry...“ you got out, almost choking on the blood you suddenly needed to spit out from your mouth. Levi swiftly turned you on your side to help, making you cry out in pain so loud even your own ears hurt.
Levi leaned closer to you, rubbing your back while you were coughing and spitting out blood onto the ground in front of you. „I'm taking you back home and when you'll be able to walk again, we're getting married,“ he whispered, not caring if Hange heard what he said.
You were barely able to stay conscious and make out what he was saying. Keeping your eyes open was too tiring, too painful. Everything hurt so much, even the feeling of the wind on your cheeks. Despite that, you found Levi's hand and gave him a small nod.
When Hange moved a little, their body shielding you from the rest of the Scouts, Levi bent down even closer and pressed his lips to your temple. You smiled at him ever so slightly, feeling your eyes closing against your will.
His beautiful face was the last thing you saw. His silky black hair and stormy blue-grey eyes. The way he was looking at you as if he was trying to engrave the picture of your face into his brain.
After your eyes opened again, you were back inside the Walls. Lying on a wagon right next to Eren. Your hand was shaking when you reached out towards him. But before you could touch his shoulder, Eren looked in your direction with eyes full of tears. You didn't understand why he was crying but you were simply too weak to ask.
And just like that, he was gone when you blinked. You woke up somewhere else once again – on the skeletal back of the Founding Titan, that was headed straight at Fort Salta. Many different variations of the Nine Titans were all around you. Your comrades were fighting against them.
Just when you heard someone call your name in the distance, a familiar crying noise stole your attention. You weren't in pain anymore, but standing up and actually walking was somehow still not possible. All you could do was look around and search for where the crying was coming from.
It sounded like... like a baby.
„Y/N!“ someone called your name once again. However, all you were able to care about, was the baby. Where was it? And why? Why did somebody bring a baby to a place like this? „Y/N!“
You looked over your shoulder once again, finally finding the crying little human. A black-haired baby in a pastel yellow blanket with sunflowers was in the arms of a blonde girl. She couldn't be much older than ten or eleven. Around her stood a bunch of Titans you've never seen in your life. Three different versions of the War Hammer, one Jaw Titan, and something that was supposed to represent the Beast Titan.
The baby in her arms was... yours.
When you wanted to say something, talk to the girl... to Ymir... you couldn't get a word out. You couldn't scream when she started walking away, taking your daughter with her and commanding the Titans to finish you off.
You couldn't draw your blades, because you suddenly didn't have them. Nor your ODM gear. All you could do was scream after Ymir even if no sound came out of your mouth. You screamed and screamed until your lungs felt like on fire and until the Titans got to you.
At that moment, you finally woke up. Gasping for air, you sat up and looked around yourself, almost immediately hearing the soft cries of a newborn baby. In the dim light of your bedroom, Levi was sitting on his side of the bed, looking at you with concern written all over his face.
„I tried waking you up but...“ he shook his head, looking down at the little black-haired baby wrapped in a pastel yellow blanket with sunflowers. „Wanna talk about it?“
„No... no, better not,“ you got out, trying to slow down your breathing. Your whole body was trembling from the still to realistic nightmare, as you moved closer to Levi and looked at your daughter. „She's hungry again?“
„Probably. I changed her diaper and tried rocking her back to sleep but it seems like she needs you,“ Levi said, his expression softening immediately as his lips pressed a loving kiss to the baby's forehead.
„Okay, fine. I'll feed her, you can go back to sleep.“
He shook his head, waiting for you to make yourself more comfortable. Only then did he carefully hand you the tiny, not even two-week-old newborn baby. Such an ordinary thing helped you calm down completely and return to reality. The weight and warmth of your baby in your arms and against your chest.
She was here – safe and alive. With you and Levi, her parents.
No Titans.
No Founder Ymir.
Nothing and nobody from your previous life, only you three.
„I'll stay up with the two of you,“ Levi said and kissed your forehead as well.
So while you nursed the baby, Levi kept you company. Even if he only sat there in silence, listening to the soft whispers addressed to your daughter in a hushed and sweet voice. Upon seeing her and Levi, all remains of the nightmare disappeared.
Nothing was real... not anymore.
Titans were gone and you survived.
When Levi's squad died because of Annie, you did not. You became the only survivor of that encounter, even if you made it out alive by a whisker. But you did. It took months until you recovered but... you did.
And now nothing from those times was real anymore. All of those memories were just... well, just memories. Nothing more and nothing less. They happened, they shaped you into the person you were today, but that was it. They no longer had the right to control your life.
„I can't even remember the last time I had such a horrible nightmare,“ you said after a long moment of silence when your daughter was finally fed and seemed satisfied once again. Resting in your arms, she kept looking up at you with her stormy blue-grey eyes. So similar to Levi's. „I don't know why it happened now, what could have triggered it.“
„Don't think that's important,“ Levi said, leaning closer to you. He very gently took the baby's hand, caressing her little fingers.
„She's the only thing that matters now.“
„Exactly,“ he agreed, looking at her with so much love and adoration. She was barely two weeks old but had her father wrapped around her finger.
Levi would do anything for his precious daughter, that was more than certain from the very first moment he saw her. All of his doubts about him not being a good enough father were pushed aside when he held her in his arms for the very first time. You were still in pain and just so exhausted from birth itself, but you remembered that moment very clearly. He was so spooked out, not sure how to hold a couple of minutes old baby. He was scared of unintentionally hurting her somehow. But at the same moment, his eyes were full of pure love and tears. And he didn't even try to hide them. It didn't matter that the hospital staff or you would see him shed a couple of tears. All that mattered in that moment, was the baby in his arms.
His baby.
The baby both of you waited so long for.
She was finally here and she was even more perfect than you dared to dream during your pregnancy.
Looking back, giving birth was the hardest thing you've ever done. From all the things you had to go through since you were born in the Underground, bringing your daughter into the world was the most incredible, but also the most painful and brutal thing that you've experienced.
Despite that... all the difficult days throughout your pregnancy and birth, she was more than worth it.
Seeing Levi become a father was for sure the most beautiful thing you could have experienced. Once Humanity's Strongest was all soft and loving towards the tiny little human he and you created. You knew he had a soft spot for kids, it was very obvious from his actions throughout the years.
But finally seeing him with his own child was something completely different. Hearing him talk to her, seeing him hold her for hours every day... It was so obvious that he never wanted to put her down. He was close to her at all times, always watching out if she needed anything. Even the softest little cry from her made Levi come over and check if everything was okay.
He was totally in love with her.
„It doesn't seem she wants to sleep,“ Levi said, while you leaned against him to rest your aching body a little. You were still slowly recovering and getting used to being a mother. And every day it was getting better and better, easier and more natural.
„Staring at her parents in the middle of the night is probably much more fun. Am I right, darling?“ you asked the baby, smiling at her lovingly.
„Just when I finally learned how to sleep through the night, somebody had to ruin it,“ Levi smirked, furrowing his brows at the baby accusingly. You chuckled quietly and kissed the top of her head, which was full of silky black hair. The Ackerman genes truly were strong. „I'll have to open the tea shop next week again.“
„Yeah, you should. I'm sure people will understand why we closed down for a little while but...“ you shrugged, giving your husband an innocent little smile.
For the past few weeks, there was a piece of paper taped to the door of your tea shop. It was the easiest way how to inform your customers, that you'll be back shortly. This time with a brand new little helper.
Since Levi wanted to help you as much as possible, he decided to close the tea shop shortly before you gave birth. The last few days were probably the hardest ones, so Levi decided to stay close and watch over you. It was nice, you welcomed his presence and the overall calmness of those days before your lives changed forever. You really got the chance to soak up all the last bits of your marriage while it was still just the two of you.
During your entire pregnancy, he tried to be by your side as much as possible, to ensure that you were doing okay. He never said it out loud, but he was terrified that something might happen to you or the baby. He was scared of losing the family he wanted for so many years.
The birth was long, chaotic, painful, and messy. It didn't go the way you hoped it would. Despite that, Levi never left your side. Not even for a single second. He held your hand, helped you breathe through every contraction, and kept reminding you how amazingly you were doing. He kept your mind busy, far away from fear or anxiety, and replaced them with nothing but pure love.
„When are we going to tell the others that we had a baby?“ you asked, watching your daughter trying to grab onto Levi's finger. It was obvious that she wasn't sleepy at all and all of you were due for a long night.
Falco, Gabi, Yelena, and Onyankopon were the only ones, who knew about your daughter. Only because they lived closest to you. Armin and Connie last came for a visit when you were five months pregnant. Because you were still barely showing, it was easy to hide your belly under certain pieces of clothing. Since then, you haven't seen any of your friends and only kept in touch by writing letters.
Keeping your pregnancy private gave you and Levi a strange feeling of peace, you truly wouldn't trade for anything.
„We'll let them know soon enough,“ Levi said, resting his head against yours.
„I know we don't have anywhere to hurry, but I'd like them to finally meet each other. In a way, they're like family to us, too.“
„They are,“ he agreed almost immediately.
After a little talk, you both agreed that you'd invite all of them for a visit in a week or two. For now, staying in your own little happy bubble was all you wanted and needed. You both knew, that your baby won't be this small ever again. So soaking up every single moment was very important.
„I love this. All of this,“ Levi whispered in a calm relaxed tone, kissing your temple while he took the baby from your arms. He very carefully snuggled her against his chest, stroking her back.
„Does being a father feel like you thought it would?“
„It's even better if I'm being honest,“ he smirked, smoothing the baby's hair down on the back of her head. „But sometimes I still don't get how we got here.“
„What do you mean?“
„You were barely seventeen when Furlan brought you home for the first time.“
„When he begged you not to kick me out,“ you teased him, laughing quietly at the old memory of your life in the Underground.
To your surprise, Levi chuckled himself, also thinking about how your very first meeting went. How you knelt in front of him because your injured ankle hurt so badly you weren't able to stand. Blood was dripping from your nose and your knuckles were all busted open from your sad little attempt to beat up the men who were hurting you. When you and Levi first met, you were a complete mess and if it wasn't for him and Furlan, you wouldn't last much longer. But they took you in and made you a part of their gang.
Many months later Isabel joined the three of you. At that moment you felt like your new family was finally complete.
And the rest... the rest is history. A collection of happy, sad, and painful memories.
„We've come such a long way since those days,“ Levi said, both of you watching your baby peacefully resting against Levi's chest. It didn't seem like she was missing something in that moment. The presence of her parents gave her the most important things – safety and love.
„And now we have an even longer one ahead of us,“ you added, leaning closer and finding Levi's lips in a sweet long kiss. It didn't matter how many times in your life you've kissed him. Every single time your lips touched, it felt like the purest magic. Even after so many years, you were head over heels for him. „And we'll walk down that road together.“
„Together,“ Levi agreed, his lips lingering close to yours for a moment before he kissed you again. Slowly and with so much love, it almost took your breath away. He never was a many of many words, because his actions always spoke louder.
„I'm glad we had to wait so long for her. At least she now gets to grow up in a much safer world than we did. She'll never know the pain and fear we had to go through.“
Levi opened his mouth to say something but eventually didn't. Instead, he closed his eyes and rested his head against yours. The baby in his arms made a few sweet noises when you rubbed her back and kissed the top of her head.
After Levi started humming a familiar melody quietly, her eyes slowly started to close. And yours as well.
Everything was okay.
Everything was finally as you always wished it would be.
Just you, Levi, and the purest outcome of your love, safely living in love and harmony.

TF2 Medic x M!Reader || Unreliable Nurse
[Hurt/Comfort] [Understanding Medic] [Period Accurate Homophobia/Xenophobia towards Gays/Germans] [Coworkers to Ambiguous] [GORE WARNING]
You were a mercenary. You were hired to kill people day in and out for the gratification of your superiors and you were not allowed to stop until the day your contract ended. Every morning should have been the same- wake up, gear up, shoot up.
So why the hell were you holding your Heavy's torso open with spreaders while your Medic bug around in his organs?! You were supposed to end lives, not mangle them back to life!
"Medic, why am I even here?" You grunt in disgust as Heavy's organs squish against your bare palm. They are disgustingly alive. Should intestines move like that on their own?!
"Well someone has to hold the ribcage open, and my hands are rather busy at the moment!" Medic responded cheerfully. He was right though; both of his hands were what you could only describe as groping Heavy's lungs and heart with a sadistically pleasures look in his eyes.
"Eugh, you look like you're getting off to this." You growled as Medic finally seemed satisfied with his curiosities. The lungs he had installed in Heavy were significantly bugger than your head- would the torso even close up?
"Nonsense, I am a professional- er, mostly." Medic chuckled to himself. He waved your hold away as he healed Heavy back up to his usual hulking self. Well, at least someone seemed happy about the surgery that wasn't an absolute psycho.
You had no idea why you helped Medic clean up after the surgery, you could have left at any time, yet you didn't. Maybe it was because you held a burning question on the tip of your tongue that begged to esca-
"Do you actually get off to like, gore and stuff?"
Shit.
Medic perked up, a quizzical look on his face as he flushed the blood into the storage bags. "Do I really give off that vibe?" He sounded rather genuine in his question too. Fuck, you felt like the world's biggest asshole.
"I mean, Scout seems to think so- plus uh, you do this thing with your face that kinda well-" you stumbled over your words as you swept up the bone fragments into the dustpan at your feet. Bending over, you finally finished your sentence. "I dunno, it just looks like you're some kinda sadist."
Medic shook his head as he placed the bloodbags into the fridge. His eyes flickered over where the Spy head used to be before the enemy Scout stole it back. He was a rather funny conversationalist.
"No, not a sadist in the regard. You all are perfectly safe from me!" Medic attempted to joke. You nodded and gave him a small laugh of acknowledgement.
"Well, I suppose I should tell Scout the good news. He's been spouting about how you've been trying to inject him with homosexual serum to see if you can turn him." You informed him. You and the team knew that Scout was spouting bullshit, but your curiosity to Medics reaction was what pulled you to tell him.
Medic slammed a fist down onto his vivisection table, his expression rather grimly stern.
"I've had it with that ungrateful little brat." He muttered. He looked to you, but when you nodded in understanding, he started to vent. "He's always getting himself into shit, then begging me to fix him back up!" Medic threw his hands up, mocking Scout's voice. "always 'Oh medic, heal me!' 'Oh medic! I broke my arm again!'" Medic growled as he slicked his hair back and sighed. "All while calling me a goddamn nazi when I prioritize Heavy!"
You let Medic rant. Clearly this had been on his mind and weighing on him, if the nervous pacing and dramatic gesturing was anything to go by. Yeah, you had heard Scout make a few jabs about the SS and war camps to Medic, but you never really had gotten involved before- it wasn't your business anyway and Medic could handle himself- so you thought.
"I'm not a fucking nazi! I was sixteen and drafted as a Medic!"
You interrupted Medoc with a hand on his shoulder. He turned to look at you, shocked and clearly hurt in his brow.
"Yeah, I'll bust him up for that. Didn't know it was that bad, if I knew I woulda stepped in." You apologized- at least, this was your version of an apology. Medic took a calming inhale before he tried to return you a weak smile.
"I try not to let the words of the youth get to me too much. Hell, do you think he was alive for the war?" Medic laughed weakly.
"Isn't he about 25? Probably was born just on the outskirts of it." You mused. You were a few years older than Scout was, but Medic outmatched you with the streaks of grey in his hair. He shook his head softly with a muttering of "Ah, the blissful ignorance of the young."
"Well, if it's any consolation, I don't think you're a nazi nor do I think you're some weird psychosexual freak trying to turn us all into homos." You promise with a playful punch to Medic’s shoulder. "Besides, you can't turn what's already there, yeah?"
"You're-"
"Mhm, don't go telling anyone though, I could lose a job if that info came out."
You thought it was only for that you were open to Medic, since he was gracious enough to be honest with you.
"I thought I was the only one!" Ah, there was that excitedly happy chirp you were scaredly fond of.
Maybe being an impromptu nurse wasn't so bad after all.

Hey there! Love your stuff! I was just reading some of your work for our favorite Scotsman and I was wondering if you would be so kind as to feed me more.
Picture this, Soap and Reader have been a thing since like forever. On the “Alone” mission or something, reader goes on a rampage to find her sweet sweet Johnny.
A Still Beating Heart
Pairing: Johnny ‘Soap’ MacTavish x Reader
Genre: Hurt/Comfort
"Like hell I was leaving you." Clicking her tongue, she shifts her focus on his wound that's bleeding through the hasty patchwork. "Not letting you bleed out now."
"You gonna kiss it better, hen?" A poor attempt at a joke.
"I'll kiss you all you want once we're safe."
A/N: This turned out way longer than I expected-
Masterlist

Rain obscures her vision as she runs, the image of Johnny hitting the ground after being shot playing over and over again in a dreadful loop.
He got away. He's gotten away. He's alright.
She chants it in her head over and over whilst navigating the winding streets of Las Almas.
"Watch it." Ghost barks yanking her to the side roughly when she almost crashes head-first into a crumbling brick wall. "Get your head on straight, Sergeant." Muted anger coats his words as he spits them out.
She grits her teeth in response, taking a second to survey her surroundings. They've stopped in an alleyway a good chunk of the way into the town. There's no doubt that Graves would be on their heels, they couldn't afford to stop for long.
Leaving two deadly soldiers who are witnesses wouldn't be a risk he'd take.
Three. She reminds herself with a fierce determination. Three soldiers.
How dare he. How fucking dare Graves turn around and betray them like he hadn't been their brother in arms for the last few weeks. The fact that he'd turned on them without remorse, shot her boyfriend without batting an eye was unforgivable.
Rage, hot and fierce scalds the blood running through her veins. Her mind is a storm of conflict, a desperate chant of Johnny's name on repeat. Between the anger, there's the blinding worry that accompanies it. It had all happened so fast she didn't get a chance to see where exactly he got shot, just that he'd fallen with a pained grunt, then Ghost was shouting at him to go.
Part of her rages Ghost him as well, for the way he'd roughly stopped her from lunging into the open to get to Johnny. It's not justified. Ghost had done his job as Lieutenant, had gotten them both and Johnny out of there in time.
Just barely in time.
While Ghost ventures farther into the alley, she clicks on her radio, switching through different channels. "Transmitting in the blind, does anyone copy?" She says into the device, frustrated when there's no answer, she flicks through the channels again and-
A raspy cough, a weak, familiar Scottish drawl.
She switches to it immediately, bringing the radio up to her mouth. "Johnny? I read you." The relief is palpable in her voice, a creature that settles with its claws still out. "What's your location?" She holds her tongue and her questions upon hearing heavy, raspy breaths from the other side. "Johnny?"
"Aye. 'S good to hear your voice." He manages. "I'm in...at the corner of a street. Edge of the town somewhere." There's a grunt from the other end, the rustling of gear and clothing as he sits up. "Is Ghost there?"
"Affirm." Her eyes snap to the man as he talks through his own radio. "There's a Church north side of the city. We'll recon there." His scouting must have resulted in something, then. It's a good plan, she'll admit. A structure with a solid vantage point gated off and less likely to be surrounded with its many exit points. Smart.
"Copy." Johnny's short response makes her frown.
"Can you make it?" She presses him. The short beat of silence has her heart sinking.
"'Course I can." He laughs but it's hollow. "Don't worry your pretty head about it. You'll see me in no time."
"Get moving, Soap." Ghost shuts down the conversation tightly, peering into one of the cracked open doors that lead into what looks like a clothing store. "Stay on my six," He tells her. "It's a straight path there, but we don't have a count on-"
"I'm going fetch him." Ghost exhales slowly, not turning around. "You and I both know he's lost an unknown amount of blood. I'm not risking losing him to that motherfucker." She snarls.
"You don't have his location."
"I'll scour the outskirts until I find him. You provide overwatch from the church. I will find him."
The fire in her eyes, the tight-strung posture...Ghost has little doubt that she would. They meet eyes, but she doesn't back down for a second, daring him to order her otherwise.
Finally after what seems like ages, he jerks his head behind him in silent, begrudging approval. "Thirty minutes, Sergeant."
"I'll only need ten."
                                  · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Tucked behind the counter of a grocery store, Soap clenches his jaw as footsteps pass through the window above him. This entire situation was a shit show.
The sting of betrayal was almost as painful as the insistent throbbing on his shoulder. He's already sure the bullet is lodged in there from the quick once-over he gave himself. Admittedly, it had taken him longer than he expected to get his bearings. Judging by the puddle of blood he woke up in, he'd already lost a good amount of blood before he'd roughly packed the still gushing wound.
Guerrilla warfare was bloody and made something vile crawl through Soap's veins. Every time he ties together rope and metal to pry open a door, or fashions a bomb out of a mousetrap, he can't help but think of the bodies he'd encountered on his path to the church. Children, women, men...nobody was spared by those fuckers.
It was vile, a kind of justice he didn't enlist to take part in. The very thing he's sworn to protect people against...
Soap is snapped out of his thoughts by Ghost's voice. They'd had some back and forth whilst they were moving, and Soap knows it's partly to keep him alert and present. Underneath Ghost's rough words, there was always a twinge of worry lacing his tone only someone familiar with the exact lilt of his mannerisms would pick up.
Once the footsteps recede, Soap groans quietly, pushing himself up to his feet with help from the wall. His legs protest, his arms ache and a deep exhaustion infects his mind, begs him to sit down for a few minutes and let go.
In an attempt to shake off the thoughts, he takes a deep breath and reaches for his radio to hear the one voice that always makes him snap to attention.
Soap's been thanking whoever was up there that she'd ended up safe with Ghost. It didn't ease his worry but it soothed it into something more bearable. She wasn't incapable by any means, but even the strongest person benefitted by someone equally capable by their side.
God, he hopes he reaches the church before he collapses.
Swaying suddenly, Soap curses under his breath and reaches to grab the counter to steady himself. In his haste, his arm crashes against a vase, sending it crashing to the ground.
The noise is accompanied by the yells of Shadows outside the store. Soap barely has time to curse himself out and make a lunge for the stairs before the soldier from before peers into the store, rifle at the ready.
Gunfire rains down on him, grazing his arm when he presses himself behind a brick pillar for cover.
Fuck. Fuck.
Sweat beads down his back as he struggles to keep himself upright, shaky fingers patting down his pocket for the knife he'd yanked out of a soldier's head an hour ago...has it been an hour? He doesn't know anymore.
Cautious steps approach him, his heart pounding against his chest as adrenaline pushes itself through his system.
It was strike now or get struck down. The element of surprise was the only advantage he had. His shoulder aches like a bitch but he sucks it up and tightens his grip around his knife.
It all happens at the same time.
Soap lunges out of his hiding spot, weapon raised as much as the fuzz around his vision will let him.
And he watches as someone else tackles the Shadow to the ground.
Soap stops in his tracks, tensing at the vicious way she slits the man's throat. Familiar hair, a body he's mapped out with his hands and mouth over and over again.
Her gaze snaps up to meet his, a shock down his spine.
"For someone so loud, you're good at staying hidden." She huffs, wiping the blood off of her cheek.
No. No, she couldn't be here. She was supposed to be with Ghost, not roaming the streets crawling with Shadows for...
For him.
The thought warms him from the inside out despite the situation. Who the hell is he kidding? He would have done the exact same thing for her.
The moment her hands touch his arms, all the energy seems to snap out of him. Johnny's knees give out, her hands barely catching him to lower him gently to the ground.
"Shit, Johnny?" Panic laces her voice. A hand slick with blood cups his cheek, slaps it gently to prompt his eyes to flutter open. "You gotta stay awake, okay baby? Come on." She doesn't relent until he listens, a hazy gaze focused on her.
"Ya shouldn't be here." He rasps out.
"Like hell I was leaving you." Clicking her tongue, she shifts her focus on his wound, bleeding through the hasty patchwork. "Not letting you bleed out now."
"You gonna kiss it better, hen?" A poor attempt at a joke.
"I'll kiss you all you want once we're safe." Hooking his uninjured arm over her shoulder, she helps her stand. Her heart clenches at the pained groan he tries to muffle. It's good that she had the sense to come back for him.
She doesn't want to think what might have happened if she'd been a second too late.
"That a promise?"
"A threat." She corrects as they stumble towards the backdoor. The weak snort she gets in response is more than enough to loosen the knot in her chest an inch.
Soap's laugh dies in his throat when they hit the streets.
"Jesus fucking Christ." He mumbles, looking around at the roads bathed in crimson.
Bodies and bodies of Shadows lay scattered around almost every alleyway they hobble through. Peeks through to the main roads show the same results. Black masked figures slumped over, limbs twisted and odd angles, necks slit open brutally.
"Had some fun getting to me, did ya?"
There's no response from her but a shrug.
There's no sorrow or remorse for what she had to do to get to him. A mantra of his name playing through her head, the desperation of getting to him and the rage of the situation mixed together had made each swipe of her knife, each broken bone easy.
She's painted the town red.
Johnny. She needed to get to Johnny and whoever was standing in her way had met their demise by viscous hands and an unforgiving sentence.
"I'm surprised you made it that far on your own." Keeping him talking was important. "Graves will face hell for what he's done." They duck into a street, the church in plain view.
"It's a bleedin' a war crime." Soap says. "Makes me want to commit a few of my own." His voice dips down to a growl. She shares the same sentiment.
"Amen." She mumbles back, peering out into the courtyard in front of them. A couple of figures patrol the area, breaking off of each other to peer behind parked vehicles and doors to different shops.
"Four hostiles in our path." A grimace. She gently lowers him down against the stone wall. "Stay here while I clear our path... not that you can go anywhere, actually."
Soap seems displeased about her going off on her own, but he knows that he's more of a liability than an advantage in a situation where stealth is valued. "Take 'em quietly."
"Copy." Her bloody knife spins in her hand. "Be right back, baby." Pressing a kiss to his temple, she slips out of the alley.
Johnny breathes out a shaky sigh, and lets his head hit the stone behind him. Itchy and restless from being able to do nothing, he loathes feeling so...useless. He's confident in her, how could anyone not be? But that doesn't quell the need to shield her from everything he can spare her from.
She was fiery and bright, everything he'd always wanted. She came into his life as a force to be reckoned with, butting heads with him and throwing insults back at his face as easily as he uttered them to her.
Love had hit him hard.
Stuck in his head, his eyes flutter shut against his wishes as he thinks. Just for moment, he tells himself. Just until she gets back.
Just a second of rest wouldn't hurt, right?
Somewhere in the depth of his mind, he knows that letting himself fall unconscious was the worst possible case in this scenario, but he couldn't have stopped himself if he tried. The blood loss makes him tired and lethargic and before long he's fallen into the inky depth of sleep.
                                  · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
It had all gone to shit.
Three of the four guards she'd taken down quickly. It had been almost easy how fast and quiet they went down, gurgling on their own blood as her knife slid across the chinks in their armour, the skin of their necks.
The third guard had been a little too trigger-happy, though. A twitch of his finger while he was choking had set his gun going off with a bang, a bullet embedded into one of the cars nearby.
It had been enough to alert every goddamn person in the vicinity.
She's glad she left Johnny behind, at least his position wasn't compromised.
Just as the street started filling up, her radio had crackled to life, Ghost barking that the church had been compromised and overrun, ordering them to meet him at the end of the street to secure a vehicle.
She was already there, all she had to do was keep her position and stop the Shadows from flanking her until Ghost got there.
"Copy." She mutters into the radio, setting up the rifle she'd swiped from one of the corpses over the hood of the cars she's ducked behind. "Eyes on a possible vehicle." She relays over comms upon setting sight on a blue truck close to her, relatively unscratched. Firing off round after round, the soldiers drop like flies. The armoured ones are a little tougher to deal with, and need a more precise aim but she manages somehow.
She curses under her breath as more of the pour from the stores and alleys into the streets.
Just a little longer. Ghost was almost here, then they could secure a vehicle, grab Johnny and get the fuck out of here.
Wrecking carnage in his path, Ghost emerges from behind a barrier after what seems like an hour, and together the both of them climb into the truck she informed him of. "Stop by the far alley and I'll haul Soap inside so we can get the hell out of here." She grunts, firing off shots from the back of the truck as Ghost starts the ignition.
She gets an affirmative and they're on their way, ducking at the sound of gunfire and barked orders following them.
She jumps out of the truck and runs into the alley where she left him. "Time to go Johnny, come-..." She halts in her tracks, into a dead stop at the scene in front of her.
Blood splatters the wall behind his shoulder, the wound aggravated and bleeding through the improvised bandaging in rivers of red down his arm. He's...he's pale, shallow gasps of breaths that are barely there making his chest move in movements too small to be healthy.
Ghost yells at her to make it quick, and it's her Lieutenant's voice that brings her crashing back to reality. Swallowing back her panic, she hoists Johnny up and drags him into the back of the truck, yelling at Ghost to move as she lays him down as still as possible.
Bullets ping off of the metal, but all she can focus on is pressing her hands to Soap's wound. She leans in close to feel him puffing out short gasps of air.
Still breathing, she tells herself as Ghost makes a sharp turn. He's alive, he's breathing, he's here, he's not dead. Alive, alive, still alive.
With hands shaky, she pulls out a proper roll of gauze from her vest, the emergency first aid pouch she carries is worth its weight in gold.
"Don't you fucking die on me, baby." She whispers, voice cracking. "It's not allowed." She wipes the worst of the wound with disinfectant before packing the hole with fresh gauze.
There was so much blood pooling beneath him in that alley...and how much had he lost before that?
He needed a medic, and fast. She wouldn't lose him. Not him.
Not her Johnny.
Not the person that could coax a smile out of her even if she was in the foulest of moods. Not Johnny, who always seemed to know what she needed, what made her feel better. Not the love of her life who she'd seen a life out of the military with.
Please, not him.
Time flies by and soon, Ghost pulls over in front of a safehouse. When he exits the driver's seat and comes round the back to asses the situation, his heart sinks as he finds her curled up over Soap, lips pressed to his forehead as she whispers to him, her hand carding through his dirty hair as if he might wake up to feel it.
"Let's get him inside." He says, tone oddly sombre. If he notices how wet her eyes are, he doesn't comment on it, merely helps her carry him in silence.                                   · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Rudy had been a godsend. His safe house had been packed with supplies much more useful to Soap. He'd taken one look at Soap, at her wrecked and frantic state, and taken over. Ordering her and Ghost to start studying the maps to the facility they planned to break into, he started his own inspection of Soap.
She can't focus.
The maps mean nothing to her. The lines, the marks, the circles. It was meaningless gibberish to her when her boyfriend was-
"He'll pull through." She blinks back into the present at Ghost's gruff voice, head snapping up to meet his gaze.
"He better." A shaky inhale.
                                  · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
When Rudy comes back to inform them that Soap is stable, her legs nearly buckle under her with a wave of relief. She pushes past him immediately to seek her boyfriend out, and finds him laying on one of the old cots pushed to the corner.
She takes a seat on the floor next to him, resting her head against the mattress. "You're an asshole." She mumbles after a second. "Scared the shit out of me, you know that?"
He probably can't hear her, but it doesn't stop her frayed nerves from talking. Her hand finds his and she squeezes it gently trying to bring some of her warmth into his cold skin. Sighing, she presses his hand to her forehead, shifting her grip so her fingers rested on his pulse.
Each steady beat loosens the knot in her chest, reassures her that he is alive.
Would he wake up soon? Would he wake up at all? The latter thought is quickly chased away, because there was no choice. Johnny had to wake up, he had to.
A world without him simply wasn't one worth having.
                                  · · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Her back aches.
Forehead pressed into the mattress right by his waist, it's the first thing she registers as she's roused from where she'd dozed off. Blinking sluggishly, she groans as she feels a hand carding through her hair.
Just the right pressure, the feeling so familiar and warm and soothing-
Her eyes widen and she snaps up straight to meet a pair of tired but amused blue eyes studying her. Johnny's sitting up right in front of her, looking down at her in that soft way he always did.
"Rise and shine." He rasps out, and she almost sobs at the sound. Pushing herself to her feet, she wraps her arms around him the best she can without injuring him. "Easy." He winces at being jostled but holds her just as tight.
"Thought you were gone." She chokes out, trembling. "I thought-"
"I'm right here, bonnie." He whispers into her hair. "Right with ya. Gonna take more than that to do me in, right?"
She laughs wetly into his shoulder, as he runs a hand up and down her back as if she was the one who needed comforting.
Pulling herself together was a more difficult task than clearing the streets of Las Almas. Every time she thinks she's calmed down, she remembers how still and cold Johnny had been and she spirals all over again.
He clicks his tongue and manoeuvres them gently so he's laying down with her on his chest, careful to avoid his good arm. Her head is pressed against the centre of his chest, the sound of his steady heartbeat a balm against the rising and falling cycle of panic and grief she's stuck in.
Alive, alive, alive. Still alive.
Once her breathing evens out into something relatively stable, she tries to speak again. "Don't scare me like that again."
He hums. "I'll do better next time." A tired smile grows on his face as she pinches his side.
Alive.
He was still alive.

Bodyguard From Another World
Tumblr media
(A crack fic crossover between Silmarillion / Attack on Titan. Hope you like it)
Requested by @springfountain
Congrats on finishing your series anima! Great work on both of them👍So some crack idea for you:
A titan reader gets transported to Middle-Earth and has their right hand cut off during a fight. They look at Mae, a smug smirk on their face, and regenrate their hand saying "Imma make you real jealous now."
It would be lovely if you could write crack headcanon based on this for all Sons of Fëanor like you did with Raiden's handmaid.
Warnings: bad jokes, falling into a hole, reader being slightly lazy, losing limbs, (Maybe poor writing? It's a crack fic, who cares) growing back limbs, and more bad jokes.
-------------------------------------------
- You are not entirely sure how you got where you are now.
- You remember it being some kind of scouting mission outside the walls. You and your team were safely chilling on a tree, taking a break, and then you found an interesting hole at the bottom of the tree.
- You went to check it out since there were no Titans nearby, and then your team began to joke about rabbit holes and other worlds they read about in storybooks.
- You were right in front of the hole, looking down and trying to see if you could see the bottom. Then, one of your teammates thought it would be a fun idea to smack you in the back, causing you to lose balance and fall into the hole. You were not quick enough to catch yourself in time, so you slipped in and fell into the bottomless hole screaming.
- It happened so fast. You were blinded by the darkness and the ground beneath you was so slippery that you couldn’t catch onto anything to stop your violent sliding. Then, you saw light at the bottom and before you knew it, you were thrown out of the hole.
- You violently rolled out of the hole. Thanks to your gear, you didn’t roll far and landed on your back. Groaning painfully on the ground, your back ached from the bruises and the dirt that covered the whole backside of your uniform.
- When you recovered and sat up. You heard your teammate's shouts coming from the hole, but then to your fright and confusion, the tree suddenly started moving. It moved and twisted itself around, closing the hole and trapping you in the world you were now.
- Luckily, the world you got trapped into was not so bad. There were no Titans, which was a huge plus. The only creatures you needed to worry about were orcs and some other type of creatures that tried to kill you, but honestly, you would take them any day than see another titan.
- You found work in a guild that took bodyguard work and legal bounty jobs. It helped you get a place to live and get comfortable with your new life.
- You sparsely used the 3DM gear since this world didn’t have a concept of using gas as a fuel. So, you had to count on your other skills to make yourself useful and earn good money in your job.
- Even though you missed some of your friends. You didn't mind staying in this world. No Titans, no trauma. Even though orcs were just as troublesome and violent as titans, you preferred to fight someone of your own size than over ten-foot-tall monsters.
- One day, your guild received a commission from the Noldor elves. Apparently, they needed more manpower to ensure the safety of a party that was to travel to another kingdom for a meeting. It had been a rough time for everyone, so it was understandable. You were picked into the group as you were one of the best fighters, and then you all were set to meet the elves for the time of the job.
- You didn’t pay attention when your group leader spoke with the tall red-haired elf, but when things were settled, you started your journey. You did take a chance to glance at all of them and figured they were the so-called sons of Feanor.
- You would have preferred to go as quietly as possible but you then managed to catch up a conversation with a few of them. Apparently, you were quite short compared to others which caught their attention. You didn’t take kindly to that remark, but since they were taller than most in your group, you began to understand Captain Levi’s troubles, since he was the shortest man in the scout regiment.
- The elf named Maglor was pleasant to talk to. You learned many interesting things about elves from him and you shared a few stories of your adventures with him.
- The elf named Celegorm sometimes butted in, judging your size and experiences. They were just some jabs, and you were okay with him most of the time.
- You didn’t converse with Curufin much. But you did notice that he seemed shorter than most of his brothers, and when he sent you a jab, you kinda of teased his height which then earned glares from him.
- You mostly respectfully kept your distance from Caranthir. It’s not that you were afraid of him or his rumored temper. There was just nothing that could have sparked a discussion, and you both were fine with that.
- Surprisingly, you got quite well along with the twins. They heard your tease toward Curufin, and now you had been talking with them most of the journey. What was even better was that they seemed to share your sense of humor.
- You were quite laid back and nonserious. Your group leader often scolded you for slacking, and that seemed to have made a poor impression on the oldest of the brothers, Maedhros.
- He even joined in the scolding and asked you to take things more seriously.
- You knew how to be serious when needed, but when there were no immediate dangers, you saw no reason to be serious.
- Maedhros then remarked that your lack of preparations during jobs will end up bringing you great harm and blah, blah, blaa.
- Little did they know that you did not need to worry about injuries and such since you had regenerative abilities.
- You were actually a titanshifter. You just managed to keep it hidden from your friends and the scout regiment and avoid receiving serious injuries that could have given you away.
- Your guild knew about your abilities since you had ended up in a situation where you lost a leg and grew it back to save someone.
- They were quite accepting, to your relief, and you might have confessed to them about your other abilities. They were curious but respectful since there was no need for you to shift into your titan form.
- That was one of the reasons why you preferred to live in this world. You do not want to imagine the mess you would create if the scout regiment knew about your secret.
- You continued sending jabs at Maedhros when he continued scolding you and then came a day when a large group of orcs attacked you.
- It was a sudden ambush, even though, you all succeeded in fending off the attack. You protected the tall red-haired elf from a sneak attack and lost half of your right arm in the process.
- The pain was nothing you had not experienced before, but it did send Maedhros in panic when he saw your bleeding arm.
- But then you grinned at him.
- “I’m about to make you real jealous right now,” you said.
- He looked at you confused until you used your ability to regrow your arm.
- Let’s just say, the look on his face was priceless.
- Your group leader was quick to explain that you had such an ability, then forced you to apologize for making it a spectacle.
- You apologized, and then you earned more reactions from his brothers.
Maedhros
- He would still be quite frightened and perhaps a little traumatized to see your once cut-off hand now grow back.
- He was quite relieved that the leader of your group explained your ability and that it was normal for you to grow back your limbs.
- Your group leader seemed pissed off for the remark you made and made you apologize for the show, which Maedhros gradually accepted.
- Let’s just say, Maedhros did not underestimate you again and left you on your own things even if you still slacked off.
Maglor
- He would be shocked, but then curious about your ability.
- He would inquire a lot about it and question if you had more than one time ended up losing a limb during your adventures.
- You were happy to explain it to him and that you could heal your wounds.
- He might have gotten new song ideas about you, and couldn’t wait to get started with them once he got home.
Celegorm
- He would most likely be surprised and then impressed by your ability.
- He would ask what other things you could grow back and probably found your remark toward Maedhros funny.
Curufin
- Shocked and will most likely try to make sense of your ability and why would a human possess such an ability.
- Will not confront you about, and will most likely stay away from you. He’s hella weary of you now.
- Does not enjoy when Celegorm makes strange scenarios and questions about it.
Caranthir
- Definitely, the one who will most likely be the most weirded out by your ability.
- You two do not talk, but now he will most likely look your way and try to see if you could do other weird things.
- He will most likely start doubting if you are even a human.
- He is weary of you but does respect how you defended Maedhros.
Ambarussa
- Not too weirded out by your ability since they have probably seen stranger things.
- Will ask questions and be amazed by other things you could do.
- Would probably laugh if you asked Maedhros if he needed a hand with your severed arm.
- You are pretty unhinged with your sense of humor.

I was a Tiktok with a ICP song and a female Buggy cosplay and Because I wrote the twins post I couldn't fucking help it- I got a different idea involving twins.
IM SORRY
In this the twins are girls named Dee Dee and Lee Lee and aged up to 19... You'll see why-
I'm so sorry- again
Hell Comes in Pairs.
Tumblr media
"Where are those damn scouts!- Does it take this long to gather intell on a new pirate ship!" Buggy yelled as he stared out at the mountain of papers infront of him. Mihawk and Crocodile ignoring is existence it seemed as Buggy continued to bitch.
It wasn't long till the two scouts rushed into the room. They looked a bit flustered and quite happily as they held the folder in their hands.
"Reporting the Intel we got on the Newest Pirates, One of them for sure are no threat" Mihawk raised a brow at hearing the confidence.
"Oh?" He hummed, sipping his wine. The young man nodded with a grin "Let's say they are less then pirates and more-" He was cut off by his calmer friend.
"They are more physically interested in terms of pirate life then others. Paired with their drug and alcohol trade" He stated calmly, Crocodile face scrunched in disgust.
"So you're telling me you ended up fucking a bunch of people instead of collecting real information?" Crocodile said with a irritated voice. Buggy getting up as his own temper gor the best of him, stretching his head over to the two and yelling.
"Your job was to collect information not get your dick wet!"
The young pirate stared at Buggy, his face turning into stone as he stared at the Cross Guild Leader. Before gears started to turn in his head and his face went as pale as paper. Buggy pulling back a bit confused by the young man's reaction, before practically jumping in his skin when the Pkrate screamed a horrible yell of realization and began to wipe his mouth rapidly practically sobbing.
"NOO!! GOD FUCK NO!" He screamed, Turning away from the Cross Guild leaders in total shock. The second pirate looking at his peer in confusion till the screaming one grabbed the folder from his hands and opened it, holding it up in the air for the young man to see. Before the second pirates eyes got wide as it sunk in what his peer saw.
"PFFF!- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! NO FUCKING WAY!!" The man yelled laughing as he ended up falling to the ground. Buggy face burning with anger as he thought they were making fun of his nose, Mihawk standing up from his chair and walking to the anguished amd laughing pirates and snatching the folder from the hand of the laughing pirate and looked.
....
Mihawk stayed staring at the folder, her head slowly looking up to Buggy. Staring at the male who looked ready to bust before covering his mouth with his hand.
".....You two are dismissed" He told the two young pirates who as quickly as they could got out of the office.
"YOURE GOING TO LET THEM GET AWAY FOR MAKING FUN OF MY DAMN NOSE!?"
"They weren't laughing at your nose-" Mihawk mused, Crocodile now standing and walking to Mihawk to see what he saw. Crocodile only catching a glance at the contents of the folder before closing his eyes and taking a deep drag of his cigar.
"Defiently not your nose-" He mused, Buggy marching over and snatching the folder finally in a fit of rage before looking inside. At the sight he didn't know if he wanted to scream, cry or jump into the sea. His stomach twisting up in ways he didn't know possible and he could feel his lunch wanting to come up.
There looking back at him was two girls- Doing far too suggestive poses for photos. Pirate hats on both of them, and in rather skimpy pirate outfits made of bright colors. But what stood out the most was the bright blue hair in pink tails, watercolor eyes lined in black makeue and that smile just like his own and painted red like his signature clown make- it was like he was looking into a sick twisted mirror.
He could see the notes attached to their photos- the keywords reaching him was 'Two Captians of the Hokus Pokus Dee and Bee, 19 and a Green zone- People can board and party on the ship as long as rules are followed" and "Like a sailing brothel or drug den-" Buggy staggered at seeing the words and closed the folder not wanting to see further.
"Captians Dee Dee and Lee Lee, the 'Friendly' Pirates" Mihawks said calmly, havibg saw the names listed in the file.
"Well, it looks like your legacy has been secured in some way Buggy-" Crocodile said first with a deep chuckle, ignoring the damn evil glare Buggy shot him. Buggy feeling a few spark of rage filling his chest as he crumbled the folder in his hands. Mihawk seeing this very rare and serious look to Buggy.
"I'm setting sail-" He said through clenched teeth, Tossing the ruined folder onto the table before marching out and slamming the door behind him. He marched down the halls as he felt nothing but pure rage fill him, Seeing the two pirates in the courtyard and detached his hand. Grabbing the one who had screamed by the neck and dragging him towards him.
"Where did they sail-" Buggy hissed, Holding the young man by his neck with a harsh grip.
"E-East Blue- Just past the 8th branch!" The young man squealed, Buggy nodding and with a sickening crunch crushed his windpipe dropping the man to a crumbled mess on the floor. Beginning his March once more to his ship and setting sail.

cozy
It had been for warmth.
After being rained on, some of their gear getting soaked after two of them had slipped on mud, the team was properly tired. They just managed to set up a single large tent before all of them started stripping away wet clothes for dry ones and hunkered down for the night. Second-in-Command was the first to lie down, falling asleep pretty quickly. Leader left the tent briefly to scout the area, leaving the others to start getting comfortable. The tent had been cold and the lack of enough dry blankets had the team snuggling up to each other. Youngest politely rejected it, finding it weird to hug his teammates, most of which were higher ranked than him. Leader was too tired to argue when he got back, passing Youngest his own blanket.
"Take this then. If you change your mind, just try to slip between us,"
Youngest watched the captain get right into the middle of the sleeping pile, the others adjusting around him to make space. Oldest grumbled at needing to move just as he was getting warm, Leader's much cooler body from being out stealing away the newly-generated heat between them. A soft apology from a shivering Leader had him humming in defeat. Eventually, Second-in-Command had her forehead pressed against Leader's shoulder and an arm around his waist while Medic had decided to tuck his smaller body completely against his captain's chest, Leader's arm around him as well. Even the burly Oldest, battle hardened and scar-riddled far more than his younger teammates was huddled close, awkwardly curled around the other three with Leader's head tucked under his chin, a large hand behind the younger man's head to keep it there. It looked so comfortable.
Youngest felt a pang of misplaced loneliness as he glanced at the rest of the team, soft snoring coming from them. He must have given up trying to show he was 'strong' in his sleep because he found himself incredibly cozy when he woke up, still dark outside.
Although Medic's hair was in his face and Second-in-Command was practically drooling on his shoulder, Youngest didn't feel like moving, until he realized that he was actually sleeping on top of Leader. He must have squirmed too much in fear of suffocating his captain because he heard the man huff before and arm snaked around him to keep him in place.
"Move, and I'll shoot you up the arse," Leader said, his tone being too sleepy to actually be threatening. Maybe cuddling wasn't so bad after all.
(A little something warm and self-indulgent for the cold weather, inspired by military tactical cuddling)

Hey! I saw an earlier post you had about the boys in the grocery store and it got me wondering about how they would react to hunting. I’m a hunter, have been all my life. I hunt deer, boars, ducks, coyotes, turkeys, quails, pheasants, wild Burmese pythons, and I fish locally too (strictly a vermin exterminator and food hunter, I find sports hunting to be distasteful and I strictly use a bow and arrow, no traps or guns as I take issues with those too). I can picture the absolute horror of the TFP or Lost Light bots seeing their/a human skinning and processing an animal that they just hunted for food, they see the modern convinces that are grocery stores so it’s easy to forget where human food actually comes from 😂
Weirdly enough, IDW/MTMTE does have Cybertronian edibles like cesium salami and rust sticks.
But then again, there's a big percentage of the crew members who were produced by the war, so there's a great chance that they didn't get a crash course on things that were deemed "unnecessary," like Cybertronian cuisine and fauna to forage and hunt.
TFP Cybertronians, on the other hand, have Questions.
Get ready to pull up diagrams, manuals, videos, and live demonstrations via YouTube or your own hands because they got the curiosity of two-year-old with the capacity to keep you in their palm for no escape.
Ratchet absolutely hates it. It's too messy and squishy and completely unalike the organized and relatively clean method of converting crystals to fuel. Horrified over the mysteries of hotdogs and how everything can and will kill humans without specific preparations to negate the toxins. Ratchet is boggled over spice challenges and how the hell humanity hadn't died in its infancy over culinary explorations. Someone told him to look up Hákarl.
He takes great displeasure when the kids sass him over Cybertronians eating their own blood. Different. Absolutely different. He clucks over the base kitchen and is not above making things disappear. He argues with June and Agent Fowler over the groceries and fast food bags. Ratchet's crunchy.
Bulkhead actually enjoys fishing. He's more catch and release rather than for keeping and gutting. He likes soaking up the heat of the sun, the sound of running water, birdsong, and insects buzzing, the gear setup and picking out the right lure and bait. It's a different kind of downtime, but it's nice. All he's missing is engex, but he's able to throw a line farther out than anyone else and has the capability to detect motion far greater than an average human. He still wants an engex cube.
Arcee has mixed feelings. She enjoys hunting. Patience, tracking, stealth, and the sense of accomplishment with a clean catch. She likes less the process of handling carcasses, but really hates waste anything that could have been useful. Meat, leather, tools, jewelry, and raw ingredients that could be sold or traded. Arcee just doesn't like sharing something with Airachnid's methods.
Bumblebee's a scout. People expected him to like foraging or the wilds. He prefers domesticated stock. In particular, beekeeping. To him, it represents a more equivalent partnership: he provides accessible resources and safe quarters and the bees yield honey, comb, and wax in return. If the hive don't like him or the area, then they can leave elsewhere.
Optimus is deeply fascinated by how Earth's biodiversity is so immense and how ecosystems are so diverse and complex, yet so fragile. He quietly wishes for Alpha Trion's presence because Optimus is seeing familiar similarities of Cybertronian long gone biomes: wetlands, woodlands, and reefs. The Sea of Rust once was a massive ocean of mineral-laden Energon. It has long since disappeared by the consensus of heavy, unregulated industrialization, but if Earth has the water cycle, ocean currents and belts, and complex system of thermoregulation that replenishes itself, then Cybertron had to have something similar at one point, no?

hiii!! could i maybe request 7 (yearning) for hange obv with fluff 🫶🫶 im a slut for fluffy friends to lovers or strangers to lovers :))
A Shared Yearning | H.Z.
Tumblr media
Pairing: Hange Zoë x female reader Summary: Hange found Y/N after being lost during the expedition, leading them to share their feelings. Word count: 1.5k A/N: i think they're really cute on this one, aghh! thanks for the request anon :D
Hange warned her that the latest expedition had to follow the new strategy Erwin had come up with. He was stricter this time around as it seems. Y/N was assigned to be on the rear of the group and being in that position has an advantage. She had more time to look around, the oncoming threats dulling down by the time it reached her.
This opportunity allowed her to spot an abnormal titan a few feet away from the group. It wasn't attacking unlike the others despite its proximity but its interesting quality doesn't end there. It has something attached to its body. Y/N would describe them as solid, indefinite substances that seem to grow under the surface of the titan's skin. It possessed an unusual appearance, one that couldn't just be shrugged off as hardened dirt.
When she found that the threat within their group had diminished, she began to withdraw, mindful of not being noticed.
For a few minutes, she followed the titan with as much silence as she could before launching an attack that would kill it. Once she did, she ripped a few samples of the strange material from its body, carefully wrapping it in cloth. She gained a few scratches and a wound but the material in her possession seems like something Hange would be interested in studying.
By this point, her horse had run away during the capture so with the remaining gas in her ODM gear, she leaped and stayed in a thick tree that would conceal her well from the other titans roaming around.
Night time fell and Y/N stared at the material for a few minutes before eventually falling asleep safely in the comfort of the thick tree.
However, at the crack of dawn, she was awakened by heavy footsteps and the clopping hooves of horses.
With a shoot from an ODM gear, the branches and leaves of the tree shook. At once, she saw Hange approaching her under the foliage.
"There you are..." Hange whispered as they reached out to take her out of the tree. Was their tone of voice desperation? Relief to see her again?
Y/N took the hand they were offering and muttered with a chuckle, "Thought you'll never come."
Hange pulled her towards their horse and wrapped her safely around the back before riding into the darkness of the morning as if chasing it towards the horizon.
"You'll haunt me a thousand lives over if I didn't come for you," Hange chuckled. "What a sweet friend you are."
Y/N only smiled from the back and shook her head in amusement, "How did you even find me?"
“I know you like weird trees. I went for the oddly-shaped tree. And there you were. Funny, huh?” Hange responded shortly, hiding the fact that they went through all the possible places she could've been during the night.
As they both got down from the horse, Y/N realized how much Hange's eyes had darkened overnight. They seemed so tired, so worried... but a smile broke on their lips when their eyes met hers.
"Let's get inside," Hange only said before getting inside the hidden hiding spot, waiting for her to follow.
Y/N noticed that Hange only ate very little that morning, either distracting themself with the report or saying they had to check on the other scouts.
She could recognize the determination in their eyes in a heartbeat. Y/N often teases them about it after all. But now, Hange just seems to avoid something altogether, like a feeling brewing inside them.
Y/N snapped out of her thoughts when Hange went to check up on her. They noticed the injury on her body and began tending on it. The tension was thick in the air as they both continued the usual friendly banter between them.
"Oh, before I forgot," Y/N beamed, fishing something out of their uniform pocket. It was a sample of the strange material from earlier. She placed it on the table for Hange to see. "I found it attached to a titan. I thought you might like to experiment with it."
Hange looked at the material closely before touching it and tapping the material on the table.
"Did you get stuck out there because of this?" Hange questioned.
"Well, sort of..."
Hange shook their head lightly, they sounded like they would scold you but the small smile on their lips betrayed them. "I can't believe you endangered yourself for a humongous titan scab. You know your mother would gut me alive if I brought you home injured like this, right?"
"Oh come on, she loves you better than me," I joked, rolling my eyes at them. "That's so out of character for you, though. Don't you remember the last time we almost became titan food because you were chasing a titan with a weird hair color?"
Hange laughed at the memory and defended themself, "Oh, shut up. That was five years ago."
"Well, what changed now?"
"Some things, I guess," Hange murmured as they continued tending to her wounds. Only silence followed as Hange attempted to cut their conversation short.
"You know... we've never had an awkward silence since forever," Y/N spoke.
Hange tried to remain silent before muttering, "Well, I guess we just had the first."
"That's stupid, I don't want that," she told them, chasing their gaze. "Why won't you even look at me?"
Hange muttered a silent tch, not out of annoyance but frustration. As if they want to get away or have the ground eat them. Their cheeks reddened noticeably, something Y/N only sees when they're finding something new about titans. However, it looks different this time around.
"I..." Hange began. "I can't pretend like my heart doesn't want to rip itself apart whenever you're around."
Hange spoke again, their words unwelcomed and unwanted by their lips, wishing that they had never spoken in the first place and kept the awkward silence.
But that's not the Hange she knew and loved, right?
“There I said it. I was losing my mind... Whenever I look at you, my chest does this weird little spasms. I thought I was having heart problems so I even went to the doctor. It's embarrassing. And when I can't find you last night, I was scared shitless. I... I would've hated myself if I let my selfish yearning overtake me. If I never got to tell you how I truly felt," Hange rambled on, a hand clutching around their shirt. Every word seemed like it was taking a breath out of them.
Y/N looked at them, the trace of Hange's worry evident on the dark circles under their eyes. It was such a huge contrast to their loving eyes that always looked alive.
"We've gone so far, half of my life I was already with you... I don't want to risk ruining what we have," they mumbled, with longing and regretful eyes, a trepidation about this moment ramming into their heart.
Y/N could not speak, her heart beating louder than her words. She tried to mask it with light-hearted humor despite her heart urging her to let all she felt go. "You didn't want to give it a shot...? Oh, come on, where's the risk-taking little devil within you?"
"I won't risk something like that, dumbass," they muttered with a chuckle, their hand still covering half of their face, their brown sparkling eyes looking away as their next words became serious. "Not when it's you."
"You big idiot..." Y/N crouched down to their seat and pulled them in a hug. It was tender and loving and the first time she would acknowledge all their hugs to be. "I... I've always wanted to tell you that... I..."
Y/N gulped her heart leaping in her throat, she buried her face further on their shoulder. The tell-tale touch from Hange's hands remained hovering on her back.
"... I love you," Y/N put emphasis on the way they said those words before continuing. "And it's weird when you kept stealing glances from me like an idiot when you could've just confessed earlier. Can't you see that it's always been you?"
Y/N let her words rush, the intensity within her shooting all over the places that it almost shook her.
Hange gave a slight laugh before asking, "And you're not shitting me?"
"No, I'm not, idiot," Y/N insisted with a small grin on her face.
Her mind looked back at what it was like before. Always subtly keeping an eye on each other, worrying the other sick when one is gone, they've always been a pair that couldn't be separated. You wouldn't see the one without the other. The depth of their love translates into understated forms of affection. Thinking back, they were circling each other, finding a way to let each other know what they felt with their efforts multiplied.
"We're weird, aren't we?" Y/N breathed a laugh.
"Yeah, but that's a bonus since no one could tolerate us except each other," Hange responded as their hands finally found their way to her back without trembling. The hug they shared remained warm and tender, giving a whole new meaning both of them understood.
"I'm holding you like this from now on, don't think you can escape me," Hange laughed before pulling them closer until their body intertwined with hers.
"Bold of you to assume I'll let you go," Y/N replied, a soft relieved smile creeping on her cheeks.
The afternoon sky was rather rosy, the clouds letting enough rays of sun to bathe the lovers in faint pink and orange.

Armin is basically your guide to leaving the forest. He is what Humanity needs to retain its Humanity.
Armin is hated on so much after S4 for being "useless" and "not living up to Erwin" but people forget, Erwin was so good because he had YEARS of experience. When Erwin died, he was what, 40-ish? At 15-19, Erwin was much the same as any ordinary cadet, you can see in the flashbacks in S3 Part2, a very young Erwin crying with a wounded/dead soldier and trying to fend off a Titan.
Armin is the embodiment of what the survey corps stands for - "Understanding". He is a pacifist and optimist but not naive, he knows that he has to kill when push comes to shove. He doesn't like violence but agrees that it is necessary sometimes. There is nothing wrong with that. He's a very relatable character. Don't forget that Erwin recognised his potential. He literally looked shocked when Armin theorised Reiner to be hiding inside the walls in RTS arc. Armin is the first character in the whole show to internalize his enemies thoughts and actions and try to understand it from their pov. He always tries to talk first and when that doesn't work, he pulls the trigger. You can tell me "his talking doesn't work!" but that doesn't mean you don't try. He's convinced and manipulated people plenty of times. If your only option is always to kill first before anything else, then you're not in your right mind.
A character is not weak simply for wanting peace. Armin doesn't run from his conflicts, he always faces them head on whether he likes it or not. His yearning to choose the method with the least bloodshed is actually admirable - it's easier to just pull the trigger in a world like SnK where people hate you, no? Why go through all the effort of trying to make people understand? He's a very strong character because he stands by his convictions.
It's unfair to burden him with Erwin's legacy at this age. He's also selfless to a fault. While Erwin did care for his soldiers, he never hesitated to use them as bait. Armin lacks that trait - being ruthless. Instead he has shown time and time again that he'd rather sacrifice himself so others can go unharmed. Despite the lack of experience, he still came up with some of the best plans, strategies and deductions in the show, some of them conjured up within seconds, and all that when he was even younger than he is now. Reiner was sweating and shitting his pants when Armin figured out the Female Titan's intentions in under 30 sec. At 15, Armin secured the collosal Titan for the scouts with just 1 casualty - himself. Just a few examples. He lacks Erwin's experience and deals with a severe lack of confidence, but for his age, possesses a lethal brain and outstanding intellect.
One of his most forgotten contributions is during the Scouts vs Kenny's squad. It was his analysis of the anti-personnel ODM gear, and following strategy, that allowed the scouts to exploit the weaknesses of their opponents' weapons. They wouldn't have won those fights with such success otherwise. He's extremely perceptive. Notice that when he fucked with Bert's mind back in S2, it was bec apart from Reiner (who knew from long ago), only he had noticed Bertie boi had a thing for Annie. He pays attention to his surroundings. He picks up on every little detail. He knows where to hit where it hurts. His 'Annie' strategy with Bert in S3P2 fails because he didn't realize Bert was a different person, someone who had stopped Annie from being his weakness. That was a crucial lesson Armin had to learn, but he learned it. He's very good with his words. People don't want him to open his mouth and change their minds (eg, Connie with Falco, Daz & Samuel). He's a genius strategist and war tactician in the making, give him a few years and see what he becomes.
One of my most favourite moments is during the table scene with Eren before getting beaten up, the only psychological attack Eren fired at Armin ("You're only visiting Annie cuz of Bert"), did not sting Armin at all, it only shocked him that Eren would try to bullshit him into that false logic when clearly Armin knew better. So Eren chose to beat him up, but Armin still had the final word. "You're the slave Eren" absolutely got under Eren's skin.
He isn't dumbed down post S4, it's just that the stakes are infinitely higher.
There's a lot of blame on him for "not doing anything in those 4 years despite having a genius brain" etc etc. Armin wasn't commander. They were dealing with a hostile world which they were desperately trying to understand for the first time in a 100-year history of being isolated inside the walls. It is one thing to understand people inside the walls and fuck them up (like Erwin did multiple times) but another entirely to deal with several countries in a world you discovered overnight. Politics and diplomacy is hard af. I doubt Armin would have been able come up with some 20/20 vision plan at that point to end the whole conflict anyway. Pixis didnt. Hange also didn't. Nobody did! The island had other intelligent people too!
Regarding Erwin, the whole point of his death was to show that he was put to rest from his suffering. It is the end of Erwin's story.
I dare say that if Armin had become Erwin 2.0, the haters would have said "Oh, he's just a copy of Erwin, he's not his own person!" So, conclusion: he's not supposed to be Erwin. He's his own person with his own methods and he's 19, leave him alone and please compare people with comparable experience.
Dude also went through a ton of issues as a young kid and has a severe inferiority complex, guilt at being revived instead of Erwin and the constant pressure of living in Erwin's shadow. Add to that his best friend of 19 years disappears, forces him to nuke a port and kill people against his desires, then pushes him away, doesn't explain shit, snaps and goes on a mass murder spree - you have a guy under extreme duress and he's still thinking of the big picture on Paradis, that genocide is wrong even though it's his best friend doing it. He has already subconsciously realised that they cannot stop Eren without joining hands with the same enemies they tried to kill a while ago. So despite having a mental breakdown, he still goes to get Falco back, because as a person, he values humanity and understanding above everything and can't watch another one of his comrades lose his shit and feed a lil kid to a Titan.
I also believe that Armin knew Falco was a decent kid, considering what he was taught in Marley, and choosing to save him was symbolic in that Armin wants to save the one kid who sees through the fucked up hate. In this moment he was the closest he'd ever been to Erwin (since Erwin's death) with that calculated risk, but also very true to being *himself* , very Armin, because he jumped to his death, aka, selfless. Rescuing Falco was a v good call, not only because the kid is a shifter and therefore necessary to form the alliance, but also cuz if you are a manga reader, well, you know why. He slapped sense into Connie, rescued Falco, showed a young Gabi what compassion meant and won her trust , and laid down the foundation for the Alliance before even knowing Hange and Levi were alive. He always sees the bigger picture.
And don't even start with the whole AruAni hate, they had a thing going on right from S1 during training years. If anything, Bert's memories of Marley only reinforced his already existing feelings for Annie and he "understood" her. He didn't forgive her. He "understood" her. See what I'm getting at? AruAni only further supports the fact that children of war are just children in the end, and love can permeate even that imaginary barrier of being on "opposite sides". It's a beautiful ship and I'm fucking glad it's canon. Something to smile about in this depressing show T_T
Kenny's ideology of "everyone being a slave to something" applies to nearly everyone on the show. But not Armin. From his birth, he has only been motivated by one thing - curiosity to see, curiosity to understand, curiosity to experience. There is nothing that ties him down so much that he can't die and give up. He is arguably the most "free" character in the whole of SnK.
Eren sets out to achieve freedom at the cost of freedom itself. But for Armin, freedom is simply the beauty of simple, little things. They are the two sides of the same coin.
I'm not being aggressive in any way, my comment is only to throw some light on Armin's character. I respect everybody's opinions at the end of the day and I'm not engaging in any wars.

Levi and female!reader developing a relationship (Canon Universe)
Tumblr media
Part 1/2
How your foolish idealism land you into the Survey Corp
You were born in a rich merchants family of Stohess. The only girl out of four children, with three protective older brothers and a younger one whom you adored. With all of your cousins being male too, you were spoiled rotten by both your parents and various uncles and aunts.
Your life was carefree, uneventful. You were well loved by your friends, you had various interests.
You loved parties, flirting and going out with boys. Your first boyfriend broke up with you when he started the cadet training, eventually becoming an assigned MP in Stohess. You both left in friendly terms and still meeting each other to chat.
Thanks to him you came to know all the events following the Trost battle. Your interest started to stir.
Then the Female Titan appeared in Stohess.
You lived in an area unffected by the distruction, but the idea of Titans so close to your loved ones disturbed you. And instigated your curiousity even more.
That tiny germ planted in your head by the tales of outsiders, people who can turn into Titans and secrets surrounding the Walls, blossomed after the retaking of Shiganshina and the truth of the world finally unveiled.
While you were reading the newspaper you felt a mixture of rage, exaltation, hope... your lifestyle, all of the sudden, appeared dull and meaningless. You wanted to see these things yourself, wanted to help and free Eldia from the hated Marley.
Whitout telling anyone you fleed one night to enroll in the Cadets Corp, whishing to join the Scouts.
After being shouted in the face by Shadis during the presentation of the recruits...
"Y/S, uh? If I had a penny for all the time I have heard idealistic bullshit like yours, I would be richer than your daddy. What fucking happened?? He didn't buy you the pony you wanted??"
You were summoned in his office the day after just to find Shadis together with your parents, your eldest brother and your former MP's boyfriend. Apparently he snitched on you.
Your parents and brother tried to reason with you, saying it was dangerous, that you were following a blind idealism without caring the consequences.
In the long run they were right on a lot of things. You'll end up thinking about their warnings and concernes often in the years following the Rumbling.
Your ex was equally adamant trying to get you kicked out of the corp.
He said he was worried for you and told Shadis that considering your upbringing you'll have problems recognizing authority and discipline.
You didn't miss the glare Shadis gave him: "I have teached you and countless cadets before you, kid. Are you implying that I can't do my job?"
Your ex boyfriend winced at Shadis threatening tone. In the end you were allowed to stay. They thought you wouldn't last long in this setting and you would come back home soon.
You swore to yourself not to give up.
Military life teached you a lot on discipline, surely it wasn't easy for you to get used to this kind of hardship but your strong will allowed you to graduate with good scores, despite not being in the top 10.
You stood at attention with your fellow recruits, listening to Commander Hanji speech and you were pleased to notice that the majority of your comrades decided to join the Survey Corps.
With other three friends from the cadet's years you were assigned to Varis and it wasn't rare that in some training sessions with the ODM gear Jean Kirschstein, one of the hero of Shiganshina, would tutor you to perfect the movements.
Despite being younger than you of two years you came to deeply respect Jean. Through him you created a friendly bonds with both Connie and Sasha.
Sasha trained you with the rifles and you share with her the things your parents sent you like you did with your bunkmates back in trainings: goods, soaps and other things. There were too much of these, anyways.
She invited you to spend the evenings in her's and Mikasa's room.
Mikasa wasn't as talkative, but she was polite with you and, slowly, she started to warm up to you.
In the mess hall it wasn't uncommon for you and your friends to sit at a table with Connie and laughing to tears over a bowl of soup at some of his stories: especially the ones that involved a livid Shadis punishing him and Sasha for some of their antics.
Floch Forster was another commanding officer you get along with, at least for a little while.
When you were assigned guarding the Marleyan's POW, watching them from your post, Floch passed by and you salute him.
"Everyting's in order?"
"Yes, sir" your eyes narrowed when a prisoner glared in your direction and Floch noticed.
"Don't bother, they are exactly where they deserved to be."
You straighted your shoulders "They'd better remember that, after what they put us through."
Floch nodded, regarding you with a renowed interest "Y/N, right? I'm glad that some people still have some common sense, you are absolutely correct."
It was too long that I had to divide this introduction part in two because I reached the world limit. Why can't I be more succint? T-T next part continue from where I stopped.

Jade, our 57th warframe
Cinematic quest update from the Stalker's point of view!
J is the second to last letter we need to cover the alphabet, we're just missing U Audience member: what about Umbra? Rebb: No, that's Excalibur Umbra. If your arsenal said Umbra Excalibur you might stand a chance in court.
Warframe 1999
Tumblr media
Very much a Warframe update, but a different style of update. New lore, lots of content, a new Warframe chapter. The gorgeous Arthur is our poster boy.
It's not a single player Warframe spinoff, a "Warframe 2" (I confess I was among those theorizing this). Those nipples stay on.
and now, waking up from his nap… it's Ben Starr! "Arthur is a very mysterious character who I am bound by NDA to say… VERY little about!" He's SO cool. and REALLY sexy. He's relatable. He's gonna be a badass, he's got a samurai sword.
Excalibur is a frame. Arthur is a PROTO-FRAME.
Just as an aside, Ben is adorable and hilarious, very fun to watch.
Stuff about Conflict between humanity and the non-human.. "you don't perceive humanity without how it reacts to others."

Bike: the atomicycle
Q&A
Audience member in a (Uniqlo?) metal gear rising revengeance shirt that Rebb recognized and appreciated: when is my man Caliban getting buffed? A: If Pablo were here, he'd say ask me at TennoCon.
Q: any other warframes getting reworks? A: Inaros rework coming with Dante unbound. Loki rework not planned.
Q: What inspired proto-Mag's design? A: Liger did Arthur and Aoi. We had a very specific vision for those two protoframes: Arthur being the "man scout," and Aoi we wanted a nice contrast to Arthur.
Q: Two questions very well worded I didn't get them down in time because I was nodding along. About stat sticks / pseudo-exalteds and trading. A: Stat sticks: we've talked about it but no changes planned. Trading: we've talked about maybe adding riven filters but not much more than that.
Q from guy in Dante DMC trenchcoat: Drifters? Maybe new outfits? A: In Unbound we are bringing one more operator outfit to drifter.
Q: I've been playing Warframe for 10 years, and I'm legendary 4. Any additional benefits for high rank players? A: The social benefits of being a high-rank player are unexplored. In terms of more mechanical aspects… we're thinking more social benefits. congrats on being legendary 4!
Q: When's infested liches? A: Steve is that you
Q In the second metal gear shirt: warframe 1999... dark sector? A: A lot of what Warframe was built on was the scifi part of dark sector that was never meant to be. So it's poetically coming full circle, that 1999 is dark sector inspired. Q: is there a plan for the dark sector remaster? A: 1999 is the dark sector remaster.
Q: Is there going to be fashion protoframes? A: Actually, yes… And that's all I'll say on that.
Q from Leon Kennedy: is squad link coming back? A: RIP scarlet spear. Not coming back in the way you might think, but we're experimenting early days with something you might like. It's in an urn. Geoff: that's pretty dead. Rebb: Someone hasn't played Baldur's gate 3! It's not totally dead, but mostly dead.
Q: Has anyone at DE considered a TTRPG or even a war game? you could blow games workshop completely out of the water. I'd rather give money to you than them any day. A: We're all fans of that kind of content, we'd endorse fan content, but we don't have the time to pursue it. Q: Has anyone considered modular ("kit") frames? A: We have considered it, but it didn't seem shippable. Seemed scope-scary.
Q: Are you, Rebb, personally happy with the way movement works at this very moment? A: Are you asking pre- or post- sticky corners? Q: Post. Also is Soulframe taking from the movement in Warframe? Geoff: Soulfame is very much in the opposite direction of Warframe, movement-wise. Rebb: I always thought it'd be fun to explore wall running in Warframe. But other than that, I love it. I think it's the best movement system in the third person games space. Every other game I play I try and bullet jump and aim glide. Questioner agrees.
Soulframe question I used to catch up on my above notes
Q: If you could go on a date with a warframe, which one?… me, it's Grendel. Ben: what would you do on that date? Questioner: just eat :) Geoff: Excalibur? (Rebb: that's very Raphael-coded of you. Little Baldur's Gate reference for you) Mag: Probably Valkyr. Rebb: why choose? All of them >:) Ben: pick one for me. Rebb: Mirage. Ben: What would I do? Rebb: Circus act. You are the circus.
Q: What was your favourite part of developing 1999, and Ben, what was your favourite part of voicing Arthur? A: Some stuff we haven't announced yet. As with most characters I play, there's something lovable about him despite his rough exterior… rough but he's nice about it. He's gonna do something to you, but he's gonna kiss you afterward. Rebb: I think it's quite sacred to introduce protoframes like this. We're being quite sacred about it (it's not Mag and Excal, it's Aoi and Arthur). Ben: The ways in which you're exploring that dynamic is very cool, and very 90s.
Q: Rebb, what are the things that plague you? A: My plagues are supported by the development team. I'm not alone; whenever I have an ailment, I have someone that to help support me with it. Geoff: I've genuinely never seen someone care so much. He gets teary. \*audience cheers as REBB DESERVES\* Same asker: when is my girl Titania getting buffed? A: Controversial question, she's pretty strong. I could see Tribute receiving some QOL to be easier to use (some Tribute). But those dex pixia, they do kill.
Q in a Warframe sweater with a Warframe backpack!: Which NPC would you be most likely to be besties with? Ben: Fibonacci Rebb: We love you Neil! Ben: If you don't have a cranky fish as a friend, what are you doing. Megan: I love Ordis :) especially little trash can ordis Rebb: you better say Lotus, Geoff >:) Geoff: Lotus. Rebb: Hard not to love Little Duck. We'd be besties for sure, drinking in the back room.
Q: if Teshin can have his head crushed and come back, what about Veso? A: He died a hero, I'm sorry.
Q: When can we get points to Dante his brother? A: ??? audience member yells out "VIRGIL!" Rebb: \*laughs\* maybe the bike is Virgil (This is a devil may cry reference)
Q: clan to clan interaction? Haven't had that since solar rails? A: Ok so in the urn we have squad link.. \*laugh\* We are trying to do more clan events. They work for by the book tasks. There's opportunity there we haven't explored. No leaderboards. I'll try to do more.
Q: I'm curious how you develop characters as a Warframe team. I've noticed a lot of references to mythology. A: it's a library of devs that have passions. The team is just really diverse and loves really cool shit. The amount of inspiration we get to name things thematically, we have touched lore I didn't know existed. When it comes to Warframes, we're still looking at old Keith Thompson drawings… he's built different.
Q: I'm sorry to take you back in the morgue. Void keys. Will there be a return to the old void and endless missions? A: We're not in the morgue here, we're in ICU. Visiting hours are open. I loved the old voidkey system. We did a soft tease with Dagath keys, it had wins and losses… There were user experience problems. But it's not totally dead. The omnia fissures are kind of that vibe. You can bring any relic to an omnia fissure and just haul ass.
Q: Can we get a toggle for Protea's visor? A: The rigging artist working on it talked about it. Maybe. You're right, it would be nice.
Q: Fashion frame question. Have you considered a DE color palette, like, Megan's greatest hits? A: That sounds like a great idea :) We're doing it.
Q: Are we ever going to see new necramechs? A: I hate saying probably not. No new ones in 1999 at least. We're touching up the ones we have before we go to the morgue, and grab a skull, to make a a new one. Sorry
Q holding a Clem plushie: when more Clem??? A: We'll see. Clem holds a special place in our heart. He's not in the morgue, I promise.
Q: I've been coerced into asking a question on behalf of someone who's not here. He's made it clear if I don't get a satisfactory answer I won't see my family again. Are there any plans to look at spawn rates for loot and reactants? A: I'm gonna keep talking until you can get your family out safely, I'm filibustering. There's performance issues, we want to get safe on all platforms. The worst offenders we can probably fix. We can increase reactant drop rates. Loot rates is harder to solve.
Q: if you have Drifter selected, can you use drifter melee? A: We thought it was important to keep drifter melee in duviri, but… why not? We could try. Drifters can't mod though. It's not impossible, but it'd take some time.
Q: Warframe being predominantly PVE, has there been talk of collaboration among clans? A: I implied it with the other question, but a social benefit would be great. I'd love to see you make friends with other clans
Thanks to the DE team for your hard work <3 supporting us for 11 years!
visual assets are either my own stream screenshots or from DE's devstream overview

The thing that gets me about this asshole @66honeybadgers and people like them is the frankly breathtaking and appalling levels of meanness they display, and the total lack of empathy they expose in themselves.
They don't care at all about the circumstances surrounding Levi's criminal activities in "No Regrets". All they care about is that he committed any crime at all. In their minds, that means he should be flatly condemned, regardless of mitigating factors or circumstance and, apparently, it also justifies Erwin's torture of him and his family.
Because that's what they were really saying, at the core of their argument. They were saying that it was okay for Erwin to order Mike to hold Levi's face down in a puddle of sewage, literal shit, for long enough to obstruct his breathing, and to threaten Furlan's and Isabel's lives and to threaten them with torture, all for the crime of theft. That's right. Because Levi had stolen ODM gear and food from some merchants, that, to this freakshow, justifies torture.
Because lets remember, Levi hadn't tried to kill anybody up to that point in the story except when he's actively fighting Erwin, after being attacked by him, which was self-defense, (and afterward there's no actual point in which Levi actively attempts to take anyone's life). So there was no way that Erwin could have known what Levi's actual intentions were, even if he knew he'd accepted the job from Lovof. He had no way of knowing what Levi's commitment to the job was (which was tenuous at best), no way of knowing how far Levi was actually willing to go, no way of knowing if Levi would even accept his offer, which Levi hesitated on doing at all until he looked at Furlan. Killing Erwin wasn't even a requirement of Lovof's offer, but a request if the opportunity arose. So Erwin couldn't have known with any amount of certainty that Levi was planning on killing him. And Levi up to that point had shown no, real desire or commitment toward the idea of killing Erwin anyway. That didn't manifest until after Erwin tortured him and threatened Furlan and Isabel's lives. He only began to hate Erwin after that, and actively thought about killing him. Yes, it still would have been wrong, and we can argue all day about just how committed Levi actually was to the plan, considering he had ample opportunity throughout the story to kill Erwin, including the end when he had nothing left to lose, and just... didn't. But I digress. My point is, there was no justification for Erwin's treatment of Levi and his family in their first encounter. Levi hadn't done anything to any of the scouts, he hadn't targeted them or gone after them. He'd only committed crimes like theft out of desperate circumstances. Because he was poor, disenfranchised and living in extreme poverty, all while having two people he was responsible for taking care of.
All of this without even taking into account that Levi only became involved in the plan to steal the documents and assassinate Erwin because Erwin himself manufactured it and the circumstances leading up to it, literally baiting Levi into accepting Lovof's offer so Erwin could entrap them both and force Levi into recruitment with the most dangerous branch of the military.
But tell me again how Erwin wasn't inhumane in his treatment of Levi, because Levi was a criminal, and all criminals are "bad" and should be flatly condemned and tortured for their crimes, regardless of circumstance.
Get the fuck outta' here.

You Just...Left - Reiner x Reader
TW: Hurt with slight comfort, abandonment issues+getting left behind briefly mentioned, breif mention of reader wanting to die
Context: Reader has abandonment issues due to being ditched by a parent during a titan attack (said parent was never seen again) and gets hurt real bad by Reiner and fully expexts to never see him again. The begin of this is a bit of a flashback before going back to current
-
I was nervous. Reiner and I had become quick friends on the second day of being in the scouts training camp and now with it halfway done he wanted to see me after dinner. Speaking of dinner I had tried to make it last as long as possible but I could feel his gaze bore holes into my back the entire time, it also didn't help that Sasha kept asking if I was going to finish what was on my plate. I slid it to her after a while, I had lost my apatite.
I tried to leave the dinning hall as quietly as possible. It's not that I didn't want to hear what he had to say, in fact I actually really like him. He strong, caring to others, pretty funny when the timing is right, and most of all he has a big heart. I had actually hoped maybe he wanted to talk to confess but the odds are extremely low of that happening....I've learned from the past that getting close only hurts in the end.
I made it maybe seven feet from the dinning hall door before someone grabbed my arm and pulled me into the shadows covering my mouth before I could let out a yelp. This is it I'm done for, someone snuck in and I'm the poor soul who's life they chose to extinguish. "Gosh you're shaking like a leaf it's just me (Y/N)?" the voice of the hands said with a low rumbling chuckle while letting me go. I whirl around to face him and playfully smack him on the chest "Reiner! You scared the shit out of me!" I say with a huge grin appearing briefly of my face before looking up at him expectantly. His short choppy hair highlighted by the moonlight, dark shadows across his face with what seemed to be a hint of blush lurking beneath them. Perhaps getting close wouldn't be so bad?
-
That was the night we confessed our feelings for each other and I had my first kiss. The many days that followed after were some of the best in my entire life...until they weren't.
It was a bit after graduation. What was left of our group were on Wall Rose and I was just ahead of Mikasa when she stopped, I could hear Reiner talking and Bertholdt getting a bit frantic so I turned around to head towards my love only to be stopped by her. The next few things that happened were a blur, Mikasa was gone in a flash attacking Reiner and Bertholdt, they both turned into the Colossal and Armored Titan respectively, and then they grabbed Eren and Ymir and ran.
That was the second most worst day of my life. I had told him about my abandonment issues and yet he still left on his own accord! The hurt and anger in my eyes and wails of his name as he ran into the woods...I hope it haunts him. The days that followed I became reckless on missions caring little for my own safety cause then at least if I died the pain would stop.
I didn't think I'd ever see him again and I was perfectly fine with that but because of Eren and his tendencies of course Reiner would show up again. I could tell even in his titan form he was looking for me as I zipped around on my ODM gear. I should've known it was stupid to attempt to go for the nape but I wanted to make him feel some sort of pain that I felt but before I could reach my destination he grabbed me out of the air and then it all went black.
When I came back to I was in a small room looking up at the ceiling, looking around I noticed Reiner sitting in the furthest corner from where I was with his arms crossed and head bent down. I sat up with a grunt which caused him to lift his head to look at me "(Y/N)..." he says softly, his harsh and depressing looking face softening as his eyes laided themselves on me taking in everything that's changed. He stood up and started to approach me but I scurried back falling off the edge of the bed as tears filled my eyes. Looking up over the edge of the bed I saw the soft look he gave me a few moments before change to one of hurt and worry "Stay away from me! You left me behind just leave again!" I shout as I shakily stand and dash for the door.
His arms wrap around me. They were warm, strong, and inviting but I can't...give in, I can't get close only for him to leave me again. He pulls me close to his broad chest with my own pressed against and tears willingly and angrily fall from my eyes as I sob and pound my fists on his chest. I let loose frustration after frustration along the lines of "You coward!" "How could you leave! You knew my fears!" "Why didn't you take me with you!" "Why did you have to come back you could've made it so easy for me to forget!" and after a while of scream sobs and shouting at him I slowed down. Worn out from my meltdown weakly pounding on his chest before my hands fall limp to my sides feeling his now damp shirt against my cheeks and face, he hadn't said a word the entire time "Please...saying something. Anything, just rip my heart out finally. Deal the final blow Reiner." I mange to croak out.
A pause goes by and still nothing, not a peep, but it felt like something was falling on top of my head so I take a chance to look up. He was silently crying and big tears splashed on my face upon impact as he took one hand from around me and cupped my face as I stared at him in shock. "I wanted so desperately to just sweep you off your feet and take you away with me. I know I'm an asshole for leaving you behind, I was scared and a coward and wanted to make it back home alive." he looks away for a second before continuing "Trust me I wanted so badly to come back for you (Y/N) but due to my situation I wasn't allowed to. Anytime we fought that brat I always looked for you but you were never there until now. I'm sorry for what I've put you through but I'd like to make amends for my past failures?" he finishes. Fresh tears fall from my eyes "Reiner...I-I don't know..." I trail off and after a moment of silence I add on "It'd be hard for me to trust that you just won't leave me again."
"Please give me one more chance to prove myself to you (Y/N)?" he practically begs.
I let out a deep sigh and hesitantly nod with my eyes shut "Okay Reiner." I answer.
"Thank you my precious angel." he says as he cups both my cheeks and pulls me into a long awaited kiss.
