Sleepover

It was late at night when you woke up. You looked around the room, trying to remember where you were. This isn't your room. You frown as you glance around the room, finally realizing that you were in the playroom. You and Spencer had had a little "sleepover" of sorts, and had stayed up late watching movies in the playroom. While your sleepy, half-awake brain tries to process this, a train can be heard in the distance. Being tired, it seemed even louder than it should to you. You whimper softly and start to cry, feeling yourself regress even further than you already were. You're whimpers were loud enough to wake up Spencer.

"Y/N? Sibby, okay," he asks worriedly, wrappin, his arms around you.

You shake your head, tears falling and you babble softly. "No, don't cry! No cry! It's okay!" Spencer gets up and grabs a pacifier, putting it in your mouth before hugging you tightly again. "What happen? What wrong?"

You look at him and think for a moment. You babble softly around your pacifier and tap your ears.

Spencer frowns, "It just a noise. Mommy say the noises can't hurt us," he pauses, thinking, "Want me get Mommy for you?"

You shake your head slightly, letting your brother hug you and comfort you.

The two of you sit in silence for a couple of minutes. Then, another train horn can be heard. You quickly cover your ears, whimpering again.

"Train too loud?" he asks.

You nod and start to babble again as you whimper.

Spencer tilts his head slightly, trying to think of something to calm you down. His eyes light up and he runs out of the room.

He comes back a couple of minutes later carrying a big blanket from the couch in both hands. He wraps it around both of you and cuddles you. It doesn't take long for the both of you to fall asleep again. However, it doesn't last long. JJ had woken up hearing the door to the playroom opening. When nearly an hour had passed and it hadn't closed, JJ got a little bit concerned.

She quietly gets up and goes into the playroom. She uses her phone as a flashlight, shining it around the room to make sure nothing was amiss. She smiles when she sees the two of you cuddled up under the blanket and quietly takes a picture. JJ goes over to where you and Spencer are sleeping on the floor and gently shakes the two of you awake. "Hey, Spence, Y/N, wake up for Mommy please."

You both slowly wake up, making soft noises. You reach out to JJ for a hug. She sits on the floor in front of you two and pulls you onto her lap.

"Mommy? Why you in here? Not morning yet." Spencer mumbles.

"I know, Kiddo. I heard one of you come out and never heard the door close, so I wanted to make sure you two were okay.

Spencer laughs softly, "Oops. Forgot to close the door. Sorry, Mommy."

"it's okay, Kiddo. But, are you two okay," she asks, wanting to make sure.

You nod and nuzzle into JJ's shoulder. You feel a lot calmer than earlier already and just want to go back to sleep.

"Sibby got scared 'cause of a train! But I helped them and I think they okay now."

"That's good. Good job helping your little sibling, Kiddo. Go back to sleep, okay?"

Spencer nods, "Night night, Mommy. Love you!"

"I love you, too, Kiddo." JJ kisses Spencer on top of his head before setting you back down next to him. "You, too, Baby, go back to sleep." You kiss her on the cheek with your paci still in your mouth. JJ laughs, and kisses you on top of the head as well. "I love you too Baby, now sleep, okay?"

• he looks after you, keeps you safe, gives you healthy, appropriate rules to follow

• he shows you how to mediate and calm yourself when you're anxious

• he's not quite strict, just firm and protective.

• obi-wan is your big brother caregiver

• he likes to start up mischief with you, get you to say bad words, and pulling harmless pranks on qui-gon and the other padawans

• when the council calls in qui-gon for a talk, he knows for a fact that it's about something you and obi wan pulled.

• qui-gon likes that you help obi-wan remember that he's still young too. the jedi council always talk about being logical, grown, responsible, and to act like you're an all knowing ethereal being. qui-gon disagrees and knows how important it is to just be young.

• so even though your antics with obi wan can get a tad annoying, qui-gon really appreciates it

• your big brother obi wan likes to use the force to fly you around or tickle you. he'll also withhold snacks sometimes by flying it high up where you can't reach. he lets you have the snacks after a couple seconds however ajxhs he just likes messing around

• he also likes helping you through nightmares. often you'd find yourself in his bed needing a cuddle and he gives that to you while half awake

• you and obi wan often play games on the holo tech
