I have posted many times of my days of being overweight🤰🏻and unhappy. ⁣ ⁣ But I think it’s time to stop 🛑 calling them ⁣ “𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 & 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬”. Because we are not a before and after...we are evolution!⁣ ⁣ We grow everyday, learning new things and our mind + bodies change. Change and evolve. ⁣ ⁣ For me, these photos remind me of how far I’ve come. An overweight momma who only felt confident when she was drunk AF. It amazes me that I didn’t pick up a habit. Well I guess I did...working out and eating cleaner. ⁣ ⁣ These photos are both of me from different stages in my life. One from 2014 and the other of my now. It reminds me that we are always growing. About me

Hallo und Merhaba[1] aus den wilden 8020 Ecken von Graz. In meinem Blog möchte ich mit euch Eindrücke der multikulturellen Art teilen. Ich bin das, was  - ohne ins Politische abdriften zu wollen – diverse Parteien wohl als „richtige Österreicherin“ bezeichnen würden. Das heißt, dass ich sowie meine Familie viele Generationen zurückgehend nie in einem anderen Land als Österreich lebte. Das ist für viele GrazerInnen aber anders. Ich frage mich, wie das wohl so ist, wenn man eine andere Heimat oder mehrere „Heimaten“ im Herzen trägt. Mein Blog ist als bunter, humorvoller und wilder Trip durch all das Türkische und Kurdische in Graz zu verstehen. „Warum gerade die Türken und Kurden?“ fragt ihr euch wahrscheinlich. Nun ja, weil aufgrund verschiedenster Begebenheiten ein wichtiger Teil meines Freundeskreises aus faszinierenden Leuten mit türkisch/kurdischem Hintergrund besteht, und ich deshalb über einige Insider Infos verfüge ;).  Hier möchte ich mit euch all die kuriosen, lustigen und interessanten Aspekte teilen, die sich aus der Begegnung zweier Kulturen ergeben. Wenn man ein bisschen genauer hinsieht (und nachfragt), kann man so manchen fun fact und viel Nützliches entdecken. Gemeinsam werden wir herausfinden, warum zum Beispiel die türkische Sprache hauptsächlich aus „ö“ und „ü“ zu bestehen scheint. Genauso werden wir die Frage klären, wo es den tatsächlich besten Döner in Graz gibt (und warum es eigentlich „Döner“ heißt).

Am spannendsten wird’s aber doch beim Thema „kulturelle Eigenheiten“ werden, und da sind wir schon bei einem ganz wichtigen Punkt angelangt: mein Blog ist als wohltuende, informative und lustige Abwechslung zum ganzen politischen Diskurs bezüglich Integration/Migration etc. zu verstehen. Ich habe nun echt nicht vor, irgendjemandem meine politischen Ansichten auf’s Auge zu drücken. Denn am meisten sieht man, wenn man unvoreingenommen hinschaut. Aus Erfahrung weiß ich, dass es für meine Freunde genauso interessant ist, was ich alles interessant finde – da man zum Eigenen hin ja immer ein bisschen betriebsblind ist. Daher ist die Fragebox im Sinne von „Wie ist das eigentlich bei euch?“ für alle offen.

I live a happy life, I know I do and I would like to ask if you do too?

I am okay with what I ultimately can’t do, because there is so much I can do. I understand and to be honest it is upsetting that i’ll never experience these things I cannot do in my one life time. However, I know that God has his own plan for me in his world. I do not know specifically what is planned for me but I hope it is something great. I want to inspire people in a mentally challenged world in whatever shape or form; I want to provide happiness across different platforms of life.

Mumsie always told me to think forward, fail forward and most importantly success comes from moving forward. I have the upmost belief that every up and down in my life enables me to take one step forward.

I have always from young age loved myself, loved the boy I saw in the mirror everyday because without that boy who looked back at, there would be no success. You all need more love, not from others, but from ourselves.

Success has made me happy, I would like to ask if you are happy too?

How do you live in purity in an impure world?

However long this list is you need to understand that the purity in this world outweighs it all.

Nature, Love, Relationships, Seasons, Breathing, The power of religion, Family, Health, Sport, Music, Birthdays, Christmas, Technology, Happiness and many more that you could add onto this list.

Accessible......

I believe that we live in a world that leaves us open to everything and everyone.

It leaves us open to the good and evil that commonly crosses every path we take.

The digital age has created psychological prisons that are consistently shrinking around us. However, we have the power to determine the impact of this digital prison. The only tool you need to survive and thrive is your mind.

Refreshing........

Change is inevitable, but personal growth is a choice. Got to keep yourself fresh in this world otherwise you will conform to a normalised pattern.

You are never where you want to be, but you need to put the work in to get better.

Grow into the version of a human you dreamed of being when you were a kid. Be yourself, not the human that everyone wants you to be. Only you know what type of human you want to be so do not stray away from the evolution of your life.

Healthy......

We live in a health conscious society that is the sole driver for self-worth and acceptance amongst familiar people or strangers.

I am addicted to my physical, social and mental well being. I love sport, health and exercise which is why I am a Physical Education teacher.

I have always believed that if you have a healthy body, you’ll have a healthy mind. We do not stop exercising because we grow old, we grow old because we stop exercising.
