[This is after Lock tried to explain to the flipside Steven how their split soul worked (no offense meant to that mod, of course!)]

[I am skipping the chorus because it is just ‘la’ and ‘everyone is dumb’]

There must be something in the corn flakes

[Straightforward. Key being freaked out by Eldi making them food. The sudden switch up spooked them]

Making it hard for us to think straight

[The two of them yapping mutually gives them headaches! They hear what the other hears, usually. Literally makes it hard for them to think straight.]

I just wanna go from here

[Key when the vote for them to leave Virginia! They wanted to leave. So badly. But the anons didn’t let them /nm]

Close my eyes and disappear

[Key during their little ‘existential crisis’ arc. They did NOT wanna be there.]

I just wanna be the comic relief

[Self explanatory. They don’t want to be taken seriously, as they don’t take themselves seriously.]

Making jokes, not taking any responsibilities

[Mostly just the first half. They wanna make jokes with their family without fear. For the second half? They do the opposite. They tend to take TOO MUCH responsibility.]

It's waking up inside of the dream

[Much like me, Key has horrible vertigo, and typically after their vertigo settles, they have a really REALLY rough time discerning what’s real and what’s not. Derealization, irrc]

Don't know what to believe

[Less of what to believe, more of who to believe! They typically can hardly tell when Steven is lying or not, which sucks!]

The rest of the song is just repeating previous lyrics. Odd song choice? Yeah. Do I care? No. It fits in my eyes.
