Starting off the school year with a schedule... I’ll erase the pencil and color in my real schedule with different colored pencils later- just wanted to show you all what it looked like!

 I thought I’d “start” my day at 6 am instead of midnight bc that makes more sense with my sleep schedules (I’m never asleep before the neat day “begins”)

first off: hellooo!! i’m eleanor, and my friend introduced me to the studyblr community a few months back (thank you rachel) so i’ve been lurking hooked onto it ever since. the studyblr community inspired me to do my best in school and stay productive overall, which is something i’d really love to contribute to and encourage others to do.

 - i’m fourteen years old and from the u.s.

- i’ll be a high-school freshman in the upcoming school year (2017-18)

Hello, guys.

You may have noticed through personal posts of mod Jack that they’ve been going through a pretty tough time. They really appreciate your support, but they’ve decided that it would be best for their mental health if they removed themselves as a mod, at least temporarily. (A decision that I respect and support, because someone’s mental and physical health should always take priority over social media.)

I have been a mod for a few weeks now, but we never got around to making a proper introduction post for me.

I am mod L, although I’m currently the only mod this blog has, so maybe the term ‘mod’ isn’t really accurate.

I am 15 years old and in a special kind of boarding school in Belgium that allows me to graduate from high school at age 16. I am very proud of being able to do this, but it does mean that I spend a lot of time studying and working in general. I may not be very active.

I am autistic, hearing impaired and I suffer from insomnia, ptsd and depression, all diagnosed by proffesionals. This also factors into my inactivity on my blog. I’m also a lesbian. Don’t know why that would be relevant, but just putting it out there.

Voltron is not a special interest to me, but I do really love it. My current special interests are: The X-files, The Raven Cycle, psychology and horror as a genre. I also love reading (Stephen King, non-fiction about psychology and psychological thrillers) and music (Nothing But Thieves, Beach House, San Cisco, Vivaldi, My Chemical Romance, etc…)

Another Studyblr intro

    General info: 

I’m Dianne, I’m 15, and i go to a fairly high performing school. I generally have a t o n of homework, so thats. Really healthy. I love writing, I cook to relax, I read books to cry (looking at you, ACOWAR). 

Some Disclaimers: This is a studyblr, yes. But. I don’t have pretty handwriting. My notes aren’t the best. I’m not absolutely perfect at everything. I don’t have 6 million nice pens. I don’t even have 10 nice pens. I have one set of mildliners and one pilot g2. I generally write with one of those cheap Bic crystal pens. I can’t write in cursive or do brush lettering. I can’t draw.  I probably won’t fit the studyblr aesthetic. And that’s okay.

But you know what?  That’s not what being productive and studying are about. It’s not about the aesthetic. It isn’t about how many pens you have, or how trendy you are in the community.  It’s about working and doing things that work for you, and about making the effort and being productive and doing something, if nothing else.  So I’m here for those people. The ones who might feel bad about not being “perfect” note takers, the ones who have messy, inconsistent handwriting like me.
