Winter Cabin (Chapter 1)

You and Loki decide to spend some time away from the city to a quiet, cozy cabin in the middle of nowhere.

It felt so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, especially with your boyfriend, Loki. You were feeling a bit overwhelmed by the crowded stores, the calls and visits from Family, and attending a big Christmas party Tony had thrown. Loki had suggested that you spent a couple of weeks in a cabin together, where you could be alone and away from it all. Loki pulled up to a beautiful log cabin with a gravel circle driveway. You looked up in awe at the sturdy wooden structure, it had a porch with two rocking chairs, an emerald green door decorated with a wreath made of real pine needles and decorated with pinecones, holly berries, and a big red bow.

"Loki, it's beautiful!" You exclaim, sounding like a child on Christmas morning.

Loki chuckled at your reaction. "Wait until you see the inside, darling." He parked the Jaguar and you two exit the vehicle to grab your luggage and the large cooler full of food and drinks that you both packed. Loki handled both of your suitcases, while you dragged the rolling cooler to the front door. He reached into the pocket of his dark blue jeans and pulled out a little gold key with a big, rubber green tag with the number 61 on it. He unlocked the front door and allowed you to go in first. You couldn't believe your eyes when you saw the inside; a fully furnished cabin with a flat-screen TV, a fireplace, a fully functional kitchen, and even a fresh cut Christmas tree in the corner, fully decorated with ornaments, lights, tinsel, and a star on top.

"Oh my God, Loki..."

"Wait until you see the bedroom." Loki smiled, shutting the door behind him. "It's got a King-sized bed, a flat-screen as well, and it even has an en-suite bathroom."

"No way!" You looked back at Loki, who smirked and beckoned you to the back where the bedroom is. Sure enough, as soon as he turned on the light, you were immediately greeted by a large bed, made from logs and topped with plaid blankets and fluffy pillows, as well as a few decorative pillows, two of which were completely plaid, and the center was cream-colored with a plaid silhouette of a bear. You immediately climbed into the bed to test it out, and you let out an "Oh my God..." as you realized that it was memory foam. Loki chuckled at your reaction. "Only the best for my favorite Mortal."

You sit up on the bed and looked at him. "Loki, this is too nice..."

"Nah, it's just right for these two weeks." Loki then beckoned you to the en-suite bathroom, to which you obliged, getting off the bed and looking in. There was a beautiful in ground bathtub with massage jets and a removable shower head, and the tub itself was big enough for two people to bathe in. "Ooh Loki, you thought of everything~" you purred. Loki smiled and replied. "It's one of their Honeymoon cabins, made specially for couples." You looked up at him and smirked. It all made sense, especially how private the cabin was, nothing but pine trees and nature surrounded the place...

You and Loki unloaded the cooler and placed everything in the refrigerator before hanging your clothes in the closet of the bedroom. This was going to be a good couple of weeks, just the two of you in this beautiful solitude.

Seven Sentence Sunday

It’s been a melancholy week from a fic writing perspective, struggling to let go of my emotional support AU, but I’ve started a couple of WIPs now and I’m beginning to feel more excited about moving on.

Yet again, I have a random comment on The Automat server to thank for an idea for an ongoing multichapter: self-contained episodic fluff, rather than a plotted story. Began writing the first chapter this morning… thank you @lokimobius!

“Please stay,” Loki rasped, and Mobius’ hands came up to cover his face.

Taking a moment for composure, he turned slowly, and after a deep, shuddering breath, peeked up from his fingers, those blue eyes he’d so terribly missed growing noticeably wet.

“Where do you want me?” he whispered, and Loki could see he was still helplessly fighting the impulse to approach him.

A part of Loki desired nothing more. He’d waited far too long to see his friends again, and of course Mobius in particular. The rather vocal corner of his psyche insisted that it could think of nothing better than to feel those comforting arms around him… for only the second time in his now excessively long life.

He couldn’t even recall what the first time had felt like.

Haaaiii !! This is kinda random but I saw your notez on my post and I would looove to know what your littles AU is about !! ^^

OH! Hi lovely, I was not expecting this tonight!

I was literally just sitting in a cafe waiting for my plans to start and was just scrolling through random tags on ao3 when I found Redlands Sweetheart and Honey series (which is absolutely amazing) and it just reminded me that I have a weird amount of knowledge on agere through both experiences with people in old fandoms (idk dude I guess I was like a remote caregiver or like an online mother figure but I just had a shit ton of moots who said they were either regressors or systems with littles) and the fact that I’m a huge psychology nerd and have researched it.

So as I do with everything, I made a shit post which caught the attention of my moot @everythingwasnormalhere and we just started rambling and making an AU of our own.

So yeah! For the most part it’s a light hearted agere AU where we write the crew the crew to participate in agere in some way, shape or form. There’s really no straightforward plot at the moment. I am primarily focused on oneshots at the moment but obviously if one of us has an idea for a multichapter then it will be added to the collection! Since we’re pretty much plotless at the moment, I’m totally down to stockpiling requests for the kids. They just might take a while to get to (and might be edited a bit, depends on how much the req goes against boundaries, y’know?)

I’m currently working on two oneshots that I would like to post at some point. I’m actually shocked at how skittish I am to be posting them. Normally my uploads are on the darker side so something like this should be a cakewalk lmfaoo.

Our bad for littles auing all over your art! Loki talked about giving Craig an IKEA Alien very early into us developing the au and it was very funny to see him drawn with one.

MCU (Stucky). I haven't posted a Bloom poly fic with Loki in forever, but that'll change one day 😙

4. do you respond to comments? why or why not?

Even with weeks of procrastination, yes! It takes me an hour if not longer to get through a handful or two of comments lol I love to ramble.

5. have you ever had a fic stolen?

UGH. Yeah, I have. It was 2020 and I was still new to writing in the fandom. and one day I was curious to google my username and... lo and behold someone on Wattpad copy/pasted my entire 54k Doctor Bucky fic. They also reposted a ton of other people's work, but thankfully Wattpad stepped in and everything down. I confronted this person too and they acted dumb like they didn't know it was mine 🙄 I even went to the lengths of messaging a few commenters who thought the reposter was me (the author) and one insulted me claiming "AO3 is too hard to use." Idiots!!

6. have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not yet! Unless you count a few Bloom fics that spiraled out of control lolol.

7. what’s your all-time favourite ship?

One has a metal arm, the other has a giant shield. WHO COULD THAT BE??

8. what are your writing strengths?

Scenery descriptions? Humor, crack. Smut, I've definitely improved since five-ish years ago. Transforming a short oneshot into a long multichapter fic, if you want to include that LOL.

9. what are your writing weaknesses?

ENDING A STORY. They end like falling off a cliff sometimes, I swear, or it feels like it to me. Also: plot planning. I'm attempting to wrangle my next longfic in, and while I do have a good amount brainstormed, I still feel like I'll be winging it lol. Which isn't shocking or anything since I'm really a planster.

There is a fanfic in particular that I´m looking for. It was a really good one and I can´t find it anymore :(

I remember it was about Loki being the CEO of a company owned by him, Odin, Thor, and Hela. They have mansions and live on earth. In fact, it is an AU where they are humans.

Loki hires a new assistant and later in the story, he falls in love with her. I Remember he is a lawyer, and that he is allergic to strawberries.

The assistant has to travel with him each time he has a meeting.

An Accumulation of My Fics

Hello! I enjoy writing fanfiction. I write on ao3 (and wattpad, but I dont particularly like wattpad). The links listed will be to ao3, but they are all on my wattpad as well, so you can find them there if you prefer that. Following is an accumulation of the fics I have written, with a short, overly-simplified description. This should also be a live document, so I'll hopefully update it when I write something new.

(note: it will be seperated into a oneshot section and multichapter section, each with a short description)

My fics are typically (if not always) Loki-centric. I enjoy reading angst, hurt/no comfort, and hurt/comfort fics, so that is what I typically write. Sometimes I'll do some fluff, but no smut. Specific elements I like to incorporate include mental illness/eating disorders, self-harm, suicidalness, and gender dysphoria. Loki in my fics is queer, including genderfluid. Even in fics I write Loki to present as masc, he is still genderfluid. I do not write thorki/any other proshipping. Lastly, I write my fics on the orginal, "sacred timeline" Loki, not the TVA variant from the Loki TV series. Those are two different characters.

Convalescence- After the events of Endgame, Thor finds Loki's body and maneages to bring his younger sibling back. The two continue their reconciliation, heal from their past traumas, and Thor learns about some rather gruesome elements of Loki's past.

Reassignment- During Loki's assignment to aqquire the Tesseract and take control of Midgard, he gets a message from the Black Order to withdraw for an urgent reassignment. The Avenger were present for this message, however, and there can be no witnesses.

A Bargain for a Son & A Stone- In his quest to acquire all six infinity stones, Thanos uses Loki (who should be dead) as a bargaining chip to get the Aether from Asgard.

Memoir of a Fallen God- A short retelling of the events of Thor 2011 (mainly Loki's suicide attempt at the end) from Loki's point of view, in a memoir style

Woke Up On The Wrong Side of the… Body?- body swap AU in which Clint and Loki switch bodies, yikes

Revelations of The Sun- Loki, Dr. Strange, and Wanda Maximoff are all stuck in a magic-inhibiting desert. However, the hot sun and Loki's Jotünn body don't mix well, and Stephen & Wanda find out some things about him he did not want them knowing

Masks & Cuts- you walk in on Loki cutting, which is not how either of you saw your afternoon going

Palace Mornings- you and (fem)Loki spend a lazy morning together, but she feels she doesn't deserve you

Genderfluid Loki & The Avengers (Uploading Test)- a fic I made so I could figure out uploading to sites. No plot, really, out of character, etc etc, but that's because that wasn't the point of it. But if you want to read it, though, its on the Avengers learning that Loki is genderfluid while they all live together.

WIP Wednesday

Thanks for the tag! @lokimobius This is a small snippet from a multichapter AU I'm co-writing with @mythical-magik and @kusakichan15. I can't give too many details about it, but suffice to say it is turning out to be a LOT bigger of a project than we first anticipated 😅 So enjoy this little bit from a scene we wrote recently! I promise it won't be TOO long before the fic actually starts coming out 😋

Ravonna is packing up her satchel, as Loki enters the office. “Mr Laufeyson.” She greets. Dismissing the two hunters that escorted the variant with the wave of her hand. Loki looks around, noticing how it's just himself, the judge and another hunter standing beside her, a hand resting on his time stick. “I've got a lead on a case, and you'll be helping Mobius by coming along.” He looks at her sceptically. “Me?” he points to himself, quizzically. “Yes, you.” She pauses. “Intel gathering.” She elbarates only a little, gesturing to the hunter beside her and then to the variant. “Put on the collar." “I beg your pardon?" his eyes go wide, looking down at the collar being held out to him. Ravonna sighs and rolls her eyes crossing her arms across her chest, her patience already running thin. “Do you want to help Mobius or not?" She snaps, and Loki glares at her. "…Of course I do!” He grumbles back, not appreciating her questioning his loyalties. "Then put on the collar and follow me." He snatches the collar out of the hunter's hand, rolling his eyes and moving his hair out the way as he fits it around his neck. It whirs to life, and he catches how Ravonna is watching him. “Happy?” His tone is laced with sarcasm, arms outstretched and she nods, opening a timedoor. “We’re going from here - what about a team?” He glances around at the three of them, half expecting more hunters to step out of the shadows, but seeing no one. “Intel gathering.” She repeats like it's obvious. He narrows his eyes. Intel gathering. The timedoor opens, and she's waiting for him to step up beside her, the hunter stepping up behind him and nudging him forwards. “I can walk, thank you very much! You don't have to-” “Move.” The hunter is holding up the non lethal end of the timestick, ready to nudge him through the timedoor but Loki doesn’t give them a chance. He steps in line with Ravonna and through to the other side.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you’d expected?  Somehow I topped my word count from last year by 10k, which I was not expecting. That said, this year was right about average.

What’s your own favorite story of the year?  God this is a hard question this year because I wrote a lot of fics I really really love. For one single fic I'll go with Nova, Baby, because I love the story and I've got a lot of lovely feelings about it.

Did you complete your writing goals from last year?  The Goal: I want to complete a few large multichapter fics, which will probably mean my one-shot production goes down. I completed one long mulitchap, and then a few mid-length (~20k) multichaps. I think I wrote more of those than I have any other year. Surprisingly, my one-shot production wasn't super significantly decreased.

Do you have any writing goals for the New Year? Ok, I gotta come up with something. My goal is to have a similar mix of fics as least year, and also to write my first collaboration with @cricketnationrise, which will be a long multichap.

Did you take any writing risks this year? Wrote on a topic outside my wheelhouse (therapy 😬) and also posted a fic in a fandom where there weren't a lot of fics in similar genres (action/spies). Now that's no longer true, but at the time it was really freaking nerve-wracking.

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Every fic I write in a fandom that's not RWRB? 😅 It's hard to complain too much, especially considering what happened to my numbers this year.

Most fun story to write: All the Old Showstoppers, Will You Brie Mine?, You're the Perfect Gift for Me. Silly RWRB boys being silly, basically.

Biggest disappointment: Again, I feel like it's hard to complain when I have a fic that's closing in on 4k kudos. The goalposts keep moving, don't they, though? I still live in fear of pouring my heart into a multichap and having what will count as "lukewarm" reception, when before this year I didn't have a single fic above 1k kudos.

Biggest surprise: Most definitely Please Don't Let Me Be So Understood. Like I figured it would do pretty well (I hoped, since I put so much into it), but holy shit?? I still can't really believe it's on page 2 of the tag by kudos? And honestly also Always Where I Need To Be, this little one-shot about David stealing glasses.
