hello furby people of the hellsite,

I plan on making my own long furby in a couple months time, and I’m looking for general tips and tricks as well as some specific advice

so hopefully I will be getting this kit to use in my crafting. I’ve found some great tutorials on yt that include “vegan” faceplates like it, but I was wondering with the eye chips, do you paint on the back of the eye chips or on the sockets on the faceplate where they go? I really hate the way it looks when the outer surface of the eyes are painted, as I personally think it looks really messy and I don’t think I could pull it off with my painting skills. also, I do not have a hot glue gun, craft paint (though I do have regular acrylic paint - genuinely not sure if they are the same thing or not) or a craft knife - do you think these are supplies that I 100% need, or are there alternate options?
