Like streaks of lightning splitting the sky with raucous peals of thunder close on its heels, starbright golden armor flashes through the air and clashes to the blood-soaked, corpse-littered earth. The fiery gaze of the son of Telamon snaps to the horrific sight, and for a moment, he does not comprehend it. He does not recognize the once golden-red hair escaping the terrifying helm. Hair that is darkening by the moment with the wet crimson of blood. He does not recognize the once rage-bright eyes that seize upon him. How could he when these eyes are now desperate and pleading? This unknown man’s mouth moves, bloodstained lips shaping his name — Ajax — with horrifying familiarity. 

Valiantly, the broken man attempts to push himself upright, hand curling around the haft of a broken spear. Then he is… gone. Once bright eyes dimming as the black of death closes upon him. Still and silent as the battle around them — yet Ajax’s arm is moving; his bronze tipped spear is piercing the throat of a Trojan warrior as men are rushing forward to strip the god-crafted armor from the corpse. Ecstatic cheers are echoing over the clash of bronze; he himself is calling for aid in protecting this corpse, to deny the ravenous Trojans their prize, though he hears none of it. 

The great bulwark of the Achaeans crosses the distance in three long strides. The towering shield crashes into the carrion warrior alighting upon the corpse to pick it clean. Ajax stands astride the corpse, bronze spear flashing forward, and the would-be vulture shrieks with pain. He bends to seize the corpse himself, to drag it into friendly lines away from this wall of death, and Ajax becomes as still as the glorious, godlike Achilles. 

For it is Achilles, his beloved cousin, lying broken at his feet.

After watching a Tiktok video, I wrote this, and then decided to post it here.

For Day 11 of the FUCK MY JOB, I QUIT coining event: A term related to something you find important, either personally or generally.

Creation is something I personally find important, worldbuilder may have been better for this day so I just made a term that would go with it, being lorewriters (lore for stories, d&d, etc)

I'm starting to think, that Capitano won't be released at all, and that him sitting on the throne in Ochkanatlan is permanent. Like, just think of it:

1) at the end of 5.3, when talking to Ronova, he said, that death is what he wanted all along.

2) He merged his soul with the Lord of the night, as well as giving her his immortality as an endless lifeforce, to fix the Natlan's ley-lines.

3) This dialogue:

Mavuika: Lord of the Night, is The Captain still with us?

Yohualtecuhtin, Lord of the Night: There is no need to pursue traces of him. For those cursed with immortality, release from the mortal coil is the greatest form of peace.

4) The description of Capitano's throne on the map has phrase: "here forever to remain..."

So, unless devs and lorewriters have any ideas on how to get Capitano out of it, i don't think he'll be playable.

mmm I see you are watching the show at the same time as I 😼👉👈 I've been dying to talk about Bumblebee! he's my favorite in the show so far. now:

1. that is a very good question. I'm stunned it didn't happen sooner. perhaps ES!Cybertronians only need to refuel every several days, maybe even last longer than that during wartime. Which would be rarer in lorewriting, but not unheard of. I guess Bumblebee was just waiting to deal with that when it came time to refuel himself and the Terrans hit empty tanks sooner than it came.

2. I agree that Wheeljack was the most likely to ask first about how the Terrans sustained themselves, but it looks like he was so obsessed with finding an Arachnimech specimen he didn't take the effort to divert from his task long enough to. Which to me is logical, because I get like that sometimes too, getting so focused on completing a task it becomes like tunnel vision to me.

3. I could have sworn I read in a post about Earthspark that (probably from an episode neither of us has reached yet, if it's true) Optimus and possibly the other G.H.O.S.T 'bots are sharing the energon G.H.O.S.T gives them with Bee.

4. At first I thought this was way out of character for, well, [insert ANY Cybertronian character here] to say. But now I think this was done to show the audience how insanely out-of-touch with *themselves* this never-ending war had made the Cybertronians. Lacking empathy for the enemy AND their more or less child. Really shows that both sides are wrong, in their own way. Now I could write a whole other post about that, but I'll keep it in the wraps for now.

Okay but this raises the question of

1) How did no one, especially Bumblebee, bring up the subject of food/fueling and making sure the Terrans actually had access to energon?

2) You'd think Bumblebee would notice first from sheer amount of time around them, and that Wheeljack out of everyone would have quizzed Twitch on what she used as fuel when they met??

3) where is Bumblebee getting his energon from?? Does he have a converter and just plugging into the Moto's electricity or a nearby power line, or is he sourcing pure energon from somewhere? We know he has emergency infusions on hand, but where's he getting his actual main source??

4) Why is Bumblebee making jokes about poor starving Soundwave blowing up a cassette from energon starvation, is this something the autobots find funny in casual conversation???

His face had been fuller in Sparta, she decides, in that period of time after he and his brother became accustomed to her old home and before they began making plans on how to retake Mycenae.

Aizawa/Oboro first date prompt please!

It was raining the day Oboro had asked him out. He’d been holding an umbrella over a box of abandoned kittens when Oboro had come up behind him with an umbrella of his own. It was sky blue, like his hair. He’d looked up at the other, the only sound around them being the small mewls of the kittens and the soft beat of the rain against their umbrellas.

“Go out with me.”

It was so sudden that Shota had needed to do a double take before simply replying; “Sure.”

He’d never seen Oboro smile so bright as he did that day. Of course Hizashi was ecstatic, hopping up and down repeatedly as he asked for details in school the next day. Oboro had told him to let him do all the planning and to just be ready this upcoming Saturday for their first date.

He’d sighed as Hizashi’s patience seemed to completely diminish causing the boy to all but tackle him for answers. He explained what happened, but his mind still drifted off to what he’d need to prepare. Just what exactly was etiquette for someone’s first date. Finishing off the school day, Aizawa headed home to his one bedroom apartment, his parents having long since abandoned him to live on his own, but they at least sent him an allowance every few months.

He began with what he wanted to wear, looking through his closet in hopes of finding something suitable for his first date. Upon finding nothing but his UA uniform and a few cat sweaters, he decided a trip to a local clothing store would be needed. Next he checked his hair, did he need to style it? How dressed up did he need to be?

Deciding he was getting nowhere with his lack of knowledge, Shota turns to the internet to solve his problem.

“Do I need to style my hair?”

“What topics would be good to bring up on your first date?”

Hizashi ended up being his savior as his previous online search led him nowhere. The excitable blonde rushed him around Musutafu mall, grabbing whatever he could force onto Shota before finally stopping at a small cafe for some coffee.

“Is all of this really necessary?” Shota spoke, fidgeting with his now styled hair.

“Of course, you need to look your absolute best to woo him. Who knows, he might even ask you out again the moment he sees you.” Hizashi replied, laughing to himself as he did.

“You’re ridiculous.”

Soon Saturday was upon him and his nerves had ended up keeping him awake all night. He’d been told to meet Oboro at their normal crossroad where they met to head to school together. He’d picked out a plain black t-shirt along with a long gray jacket that went down to his knees. His hair had been half way tied up, leaving only a few strands left to shadow his face.

With one final glance into his bathroom mirror, he decided he was prepared enough and set off.

Walking up to their meeting spot, Shota could already see a fidgeting Oboro messing with his fingers. His hair was the same as always with those clunky goggles pushing up his bangs. He wore a brown jacket over a navy blue shirt with black pants.

“Beautiful.”

A blush rose to Oboro’s face, matching his own as he realized he’d said that out loud. Not wanting to make the situation any more awkward, Shota coughed a little before asking where they’d be going. Seeing the Oboro’s eyes light up like starlight, Shota knew he was in for a day full of surprises. And surprised he was as Oboro dragged him around Musutafu. Their first stop had been a small hole in the wall bookstore that held his favorite author's new book, which he’d thought had already been sold out. Next was a hero exhibit on his favorite underground hero Smoke-Eater. He’d been wanting to go see it for a while now but hadn’t had the time due to all of their training at UA.

Next came a small lunch at his favorite ramen shop followed by their final stop at his favorite cat cafe.

The day had been perfect but from the beginning Shota had had a knot in his stomach, a feeling he couldn’t help but focus on as Oboro returned with their coffees in hand. Sipping his coffee, Shota finally gained the courage to ask the question he’d been replaying in his head all week. “Why do you like me? Don’t get me wrong, today was perfect. But you’re also kind, you look after others in your own way and that makes me want to work harder to be a hero just like you.” Oboro responded, shattering Shota’s view of himself so completely that all he could now was gape.

“I’m glad to have met you Aizawa Shota, and if you’ll have me, I’d very much like to be your boyfriend.”

Gold eyes met red and for a moment, Shota felt like he could do anything, if only Shirakumo Oboro was by his side.

“So, did Nemuri get to you too?” Oboro asked, walking him back to his apartment at the blue haired boy’s insistence.

“Huh? No, but Hizashi helped me prepare for today. Told me I needed to look my best so we just spent a day at the mall picking out an outfit and getting my hair done.” He responded, feeling more relaxed as the knot in his stomach had disappeared.

“Wha? Lucky, Nemuri was like a wild animal, she spent this past week drilling me on what to wear, how to act and what to say.” Oboro replied, a small whine in his tone as he lamented on his past hell week with Nemuri.

Laughing quietly, Shota thought; there’s nowhere he’d rather be, than by Oboro’s side. And he hoped they’d stay together forever.

ReWriting LO: Hades/Minthe Relationship and Break Up

TDLR: The Slap that lead to Hades/Minthe’s Break Up is just there to further paint Minthe in a Negative Light. Minthe before this was able to be somewhat Sympathetic but with the Slap it’s a very clear Moment to cut off any Sympathy for her. You can have the same steps with doing that by properly setting up issues like Persephone in their Relationship. Minthe has been established as Toxic and a little Verbally Abusive but never Physically Abusive, so the Slap is OOC and UnNeeded.

Moving from Minthe to Hades. Hades has always been shown in a slight Victim Light but in Previous Episodes 1 and 33, he has no problem arguing with her. He is Angry, Brash and Argumentative only in Sexual Situations, Episode 8 that he gets Submissive. So, for him to be so scared of her is somewhat unusual. Hades also had Feelings for Persephone throughout the whole Relationship and it’s never Framed as a Bad Thing. 

This Break Up should have been about a Mutual Toxic Relationship but turns into an Abuser (Minthe) and Victim (Hades) Relationship instead.

Ok, so here is my First ReWrite, Minthe/Hades Break Up Rewrite:

First let me lay out my Problems with the Break Up and By Extension their Relationship.

1. The Slap Minthe gave Hades. 

Not for the Slap itself but because the Framing is obviously showing Minthe is a Bad Person. Which I don’t feel was needed. In LO, Minthe was already shown as Toxic there was no need to make her Physically Abusive. It is honestly OOC for Minthe.

2. Personally, I feel Hades was left off the Hook way too easily. 

The fact that he have Feelings for Persephone back in Episode 47, where they first enter the Relationship mind you, isn’t brought up. Only the fact that Hades was Feelings. I would have like if Hades agreeing to the Relationship with Minthe while not Loving her was a Bad Move and don’t like that it wasn’t Addressed.

3. That Drinking Incident with Thetis is really UnNecessary.

Kinda tying in with “1.” but, yeah, the Incident to Spur this ReWrite wasn’t the Slap but Thetis. Thetis is a Toxic Friend but even I feel that this Drinking Incident is,,, a little OOC? I don’t know, doesn’t really feel right for her. 

So, with my Problems laid out time to ReWrite.

Episodes being ReWrote: Episodes 71 (The would be Dinner of Hades/Minthe), 73 (The Drinking Incident), 76 (The Slap), and some Light ReTouches to Episodes 104, and 105 (Hades/Minthe Break Up).

First, just to be clear, everything in the Series Before and After is the same. Only the Previously Stated Episodes changed. Episode 71 (Where Hades was stood up by Minthe because of Thetis) and 73 (The one where Thetis keeps ordering Alcoholic Drinks for Minthe causing her to miss her Dinner with Hades)

Episode 71, Hades/Mine Dinner

The Night is going well, Hades is cooking while Minthe helps out by setting the table. They are making conversation, taking about work, themselves, and the Future. Then Dinner starts and things change. Minthe brings up Persephone much to Hades surprise. She brings up How much time they were spending together and How it us causing her trouble at work in reference to Episode 59 (Minthe had to keep rescheduling a Meeting because Hades and Persephone were busy hanging out after the Tour) Hades brushes it off saying how the two are just Friends. Minthe continues to push the Persephone topic bringing up the InternShip start date. Hades says it was direct orders from Hera. They go back and forth. Minthe gets upset and says she is gonna go stay with Thetis for the Night. Hades tries to convince her otherwise but Minthe still leaves.

Episode 73, Thetis and Minthe’s Night Out

The plan stays to what it was originally. Minthe and Thetis get After Work Drinks and Minthe leaves with Hades picking her up. While at the Bar, they do indeed catch up and Thetis is still a Toxic Friend, like in the Original Episode she still brings up all the Persephone points. How none of TGOEM Members actually follow the Chastity Vow (expect for Artemis). How the Olympus/UnderWorld InternShip doesn't start for a few Months. And How much time Hades/Persephone spend together. Minthe pretends to shrug it all off but now has Seeds of Doubt in her mind. Just as Hades comes and keeps her up for their Dinner.

(Episode 74's beginning could be the same but because the Dinner happened it's just that Minthe really really over slept. I don't know Thetis turned her phone alarm off? Not really important.)

Episode 76, Hades/Minthe Confrontation

Minthe is still in a Bad Mood, from her date and now, going into work late. Everything mostly the same with Minthe’s Surface and SubConscious Thoughts just adjusted to fit the New ReWrited Episode 71 and 73. Instead of the Thoughts Focusing on her missing Dinner they are more Focused on how she should have just kept her mouth shut about Persephone. So, when the confrontation happens at the Fates Building in the Hallway Minthe DOESN'T slap Hades. She and Hades have a conversation which devolves into another argument about Persephone. Minthe Verbally Berates Hades and still compares him to Kronos and Hecate stops her.

Episodes 104, and 105, Hades/Minthe Break Up

Mostly the same, but Hades is given just as much Fault as Minthe was. All the stuff on Minthe stay the same, just change the Slapping References to her Verbal Berating. Now Hades, he get a bit more work.When Hades states “As much as you can love someone you’ve known for two weeks...” Minthe calls him out. She asks, Why. If he was in love with Persephone, Why did you get into a Relationship with her? This is all to Balance out the Toxicity of their Relationship. Putting Equal blame on both Parties. Hades, will say to not bring Persephone into the Conversation and then you can play the Rest of the Episode the same.
