what constitutes being a monster in spn is so deeply interesting bc so much of the show is used to argue that monstrosity is not about what you are but what you do. And that you can always be a better person, your monstrous traits aren’t necessarily actually monstrous.

but as the show goes on we learn that this is only true if dean deems you human. So sams monstrous traits must be buried deep and thrown out in order for him to be good. Sams monstrous friends are inherently evil bc dean says so. Deans monstrous friends are fine though, of course.

I’m just eternally wishing for a version of this show where sams abilities are so deeply ingrained in him that he can’t ever get rid of them. And he’s allowed to be a hero regardless. Give me a season 5 where sams eyes randomly go yellow. Or he has to deal with demon traps or he needs to control his emotions bc anger from him can be literally explosive, but regardless of all of this he still shows dean more compassion than dean ever leant to him in season 4. And regardless of all this he still beats the devil.

i noticed before that michael has a tiny dimple in the right corner of his mouth when he smiles. if you look closely you can see its shadow here. it’s a flash, blink and you’ll miss it moment but i can’t unsee it

so while he’s upset and devastated, there is the tiniest inkling of a smile almost as if his subconsciousness is jumping for joy over the kiss and realization that crowley loves him!

the very next thing he does is touch his lips in a way acknowledging this powerful wave of conflicting emotions…

Some additional fun aspects of the blood curse of binding that Chetney showed off last night:

Both standard and amplified uses of the blood curse take away the target's reactions (which can be useful for helping teammates get out of trouble).

When amplified, there's no size limit on the target being bound, and the effect will last up to a minute (with the target making further saving throws).

The curse specifically reduces the target's speed to 0. The players handbook states "If a flying creature is knocked prone, has its speed reduced to 0, or is otherwise deprived of the ability to move, the creature falls, unless it has the ability to hover or it is being held aloft by magic, such as by the fly spell."

This means that, technically, if Chetney could get within 30 feet and there was a failed save, he could make a flying dragon fall out of the sky.

something really funny to me about my mom really thinking i wanted to become a therapist because i'm taking psychology & have like 2-3 psych books

i would genuinely be The Worst therapist i simply wouldn't be able to care about any of my patients . i would believe i am better than my patients . it would be a circus .

#cluster b #npd #bpd #i just have a special interest in psychiatry. sociology mostly. i'm Only in this class for the sociology #even then i disagree with a lot of things in psychiatry #have been dealing with mental health systems since i was 9 and all it has done is make me absolutely despise it all #i get the feeling she thinks i'm a “i'm so inspired by the treatment i've recieved that i'm gonna pursue this career path!!” on the contrary #i feel like if i became a therapist it'd be a moral failing on my end because of how much i've hated this system #if i became a therapist i would hate every minute of it for numerous different reasons #it's saying a lot to say ive never once considered becoming a therapist when i consider everything else from animation to archaeology #also when i say i have “low empathy” i don't mean “oh i can feel empathy in multiple situations it's just a very minor amount” i mean #that it's rare for me to have empathy. i cannot even reliably experience empathy with my ep or fp and when i do it's usually very minor #i'd be better suited as a brain surgeon before being in charge of somebody's mental health 💀💀💀

it’s easier to f@st at night for me

a year ago i used to sleep in until 4 pm sometimes earlier and i all i would eat was something i baked the night before n dinner

and i lost a lot of weight n my body never looked better it was such a good time

but then i had to fix my schedule cause although sleeping in helps me lose weight it made my depression horrible

and now im sleeping in again

so i have to pick n choose

do i want to fix my schedule so i don’t kms or do i worsen my sleeping schedule to lose weight

it’s a tough choice ig (i’m gonna worsen my sleeping schedule)
