Chuuya is an alcoholic who drinks his problems away

It helps that he's a lightweight so it doesn't take much for him to forget about... everything

And he'd never let you go down that route, no way, not on his watch

He'd try to convince you to seek professional help he'd pay all your sessions anything you need

If youd rather not he'll try to convince you here and there but not push it

Instead he moniters you and makes sure you eat little by little from a snack to a meal to 3 square meals a day and he'd celebrate every milestone

And let's be honest you'll probably never have the chance to try and vomit the food up on his watch

I'm sorry but ranpo will not understand

I don't think he'll ever fully understand

But he knows it's hurting you, not eating

And it becomes all the more real when he walks in on you hunched over the toilet seat as the contents of the ada's group linch falls out your mouth

The bitter acid of it makes you shiver

He starts to get you to eat under the guise of making you try his new favourite snack (that happens to change every week)

A little bit more than what you'd eat to get you through the day but not enough that you could throw it up so easily

He lets you climb into his lap and cry which is unusual considering you were the one to always baby him

So silly very silly guy

Immediately goes to Fyodor for help

He makes your food into cute little animals and stuff like you're a kid just to make you feel better

Does little shows while you eat you forget you're eating

And boom the plate is empty how'd that happen?

In the beginning he'd sneak a few spoons of like porridge or something of the sorts into your mouth every hour

He's a very touchy guy as well so he's always cuddling you and telling you how much he loves you

It's honestly very sweet and it's not often you see a sincere Nikolai telling you how much he loves you while the two of you are laying on the couch, movie long forgotten

He'll gasp if you say you skipped a meal and then hop into the kitchen to make something (I'm sorry he's just dramatic like that no guilt tripping at all)

It wasn’t unusual to find James wandering around your shared apartment, listening to music.

He was an early riser, always out of bed before you and the first thing he would do would connect his phone to the speaker for his morning shower. The speaker would follow him into the kitchen where he would make you both breakfast. His drive to work would be filled with whatever playlist he had been loving at the moment, just like his drive back. He had little set playlists to hype him up when he would go to the gym or go out for runs.

He would always make small, mini playlists for you, sending the link from the other room and waiting a solid five minutes before he ran into the room you were in and asked what you thought. He would always get giddy when he found a new song he thought you would like, or when he knew one of his favourite artists was in town and he could persuade you to join him at the concert. 

Your boyfriend had many love languages, but music was undoubtedly one of them and you adored it. 

You had been lucky enough to cop a short shift in the morning, meaning the rest of your Sunday was available to enjoy how you pleased. It was one of the rare days where you woke up before James, pressing a kiss to his forehead before you left the house and headed out to work. 

It was nearing noon by the time you arrived home, the jingle of the keys usually enough to catch your boyfriend’s attention and having him run towards you like an excited golden retriever as he muttered how much he missed you between kisses. 

Except, it didn’t happen this time.

You would have been alarmed if you didn’t hear the undeniable sound of music blasting from one of the other rooms—you were assuming it was the kitchen where he would be cooking you both a sort of late breakfast. So, you shrugged off your shoes and hung up your jacket before you made your way towards the kitchen, a smile on your face to see what James was listening to this morning. 

You hadn’t even clocked the familiar tune until you were standing in the doorway of the kitchen, taking in the scene in front of you.

James was dressed only in a pair of sweatpants that rested low on his hips, leaving his toned chest and thick arms on display. His hair was still a little messy like he hadn’t styled it yet, stray curls falling in front of his lenses. He had a spatula in his hand with what you assumed were some fried eggs he was making in the pan on the stove, the sight of two plates with avocado toast plated on them made you grin a little. 

But the thing that really made your heart swell was the song your boyfriend was singing along to.

It didn’t take long for James to notice you standing by the door and your chest tightened at the way a grin spread across his face, the stove turned off and the spatula abandoned as he reached his hand out towards you as he pulled you further into the kitchen.

“Our song is the slamming screen door, sneaking out late, tapping on your window,” he sang and you could only snort at the thick southern accent he put on as he sang. “When we’re on the phone and you talk real slow, cause it’s late and your mama don’t know!”

You let out a giggle as he twirled you around in a circle, letting you get far enough before he could tug you back in and grip your hips as you practically fell into his embrace.

“Our song is the way you laugh, first date, man, I didn’t kiss her and I should have,” he continued, his eyes never leaving yours as he sang, enjoying the way you smiled up at him. “And when I got home, before I said amen, asking God if he could play it again.”

You snorted as the boy continued to prance around the kitchen with you, the breakfast forgotten as James pulled you close once the song had ended and dipped his head down to press his lips against yours. 

“Morning, baby,” he murmured in between kisses, the smile on his face never once faltering. “How was work?”

“Good,” you grinned back at him, leaning back enough to lift a hand to push back his curls. “I really enjoyed coming back to that little performance though.”

“I missed you this morning so I put on your playlist,” he said with a shrug of his shoulders, like it was the most casual thing in the world and didn’t make your heart swoon. “Not to brag but I think I may be a bigger swiftie than you.”

You snorted. “Sure, baby, sure.”

“I’m not lying, babe, I am,” he said and puffed his chest out a little. “Fine then, what’s her best album?” 

“Folklore,” you answered without any hesitation. 

“Wrong, it’s 1989,” he grinned, giving you ass a soft slap before he turned back to finish the breakfast he was cooking.

i pack up my computer at the end of class as all the other guys file out the room, smiling at simon quickly as he leaves because he helped me out with one of the bugs i had in my code, i slip my headphone on and i walk down the steps to the exit and i peep my professor texting on his phone with a slight smile and i can’t help but wonder who’s making him smile like that, i quickly go in my camera roll and look for the room number of my next class and i softly frown when i realize i don’t know where that it, i look up at prof and i softly pad to him and i don’t say anything and just wait for him to notice i’m there—

i watch him seemingly sense my presence and look up slowly, i slightly squirm cs i feel as if he’s touching me and i feel my face heat up even tho it doesn’t show..

“u-um i was wondering if you knew when E3345 is?”

‘i step forward a bit and show him my phone, and i get hint of his sent, slightly musky and woody and i bite my lip”

‘he licks his lips slightly and he nods and replies with a soft raspy voice”

‘yea, mr scott.. great teacher, he’s in the building behind us on the second floor.. nd go around the trees yea? wouldn’t want you getting lost’

“he says that with the slightest smirk and the most intense stare i’ve ever seen, his dead eyes having an aura of mischief behind them, his stature radiating intimidation and masculinity and it weighs down on me in the best way possible, it makes my belly flutter and my head spin—

he would probably start by taking you to your favorite coffee shop, getting you a little birthday breakfast treat with your coffee, and it would probably be the one time he doesn't criticize your drink order (he definitely thinks plain black coffee is real coffee) or comment on how much espresso you added to it (i'm on that pedro pascal shit myself, & I know the only time frankie wouldn't give me shit about it is my birthday bc he's legally required to be extra nice that day)

as far as the evening, I see it going two ways: frankie either makes a reservation at your favorite restaurant and invites your closest friends and family to keep it intimate, or he surprises you with a special dinner he cooked himself (your favorite meal) along with a homemade birthday cake (it might not be the prettiest, but it would be delicious) because we know frankie can throw down in the kitchen

if you went out for dinner, he would insist on giving you your gifts & card at home because they're special and sentimental and he's shy when it comes to things like that, and he likes it better when those moments just consist of the two of you

if you had dinner at home, he would roll his eyes when you begged him to sing you happy birthday, but he would oblige because he can't tell you no

i feel like leon would be the cleanliest person ever, but also would randomly do something so gross and try and be like "it's not even that big of a deal" like he'd be the type of guy to have a haircare routine and have an immaculate house, he would always smell like nice cologne/aftershave. but then, he'd like forget his toothbrush and like use yours and you'd be like wtf?? and he'd be like 'we've kissed before so what's the problem w this?' m what a very delicious chapter four that was! also crazy to think that you're already halfway through the season so congrats!! also congrats on ur semester ending, that's awesome :D!

i loooooove the casual intimacy of stug this episode, all the actions of them just knowing that their place was by the other's side is soooo beautiful and omg bug actively thinking of how she loves steve in her head!!!! beautiful!!! and steve truly becoming a part of the henderson family with bug and dustin standing by him the way they would for each other when steve craves family the most ooooooo m don't do that to my heart!!!!! watching steve and bug grow closer and closer and more and more confident in each other and sure of each of their place in each other's lives is very sweet. the line of steve and bug feeling stable and sure whiile they are fighting is such a nice break from other parts of their lives where the disagreement IS the relationship, or it certainly feels defining of the relationship in that moment, instead of a natural course that just happens with two people. i also like the fairly reasonable side you give to both steve and bug. Bug's worries about her friends and family are entirely reasonable obviously, but omg i've been in steve's shoes countless times and i would drink mercury straight outta the bottle if it meant someone would tell me i'm doing the right thing. and i think that's a testament to your skill. it's difficult to create an argument where both sides have valid points and reasons to stand their grounds but remain respectful throughout.

dustin and bug are cute as always, very cute sibling moments! i loved seeing erica, she's a real treasure, and the sinclair siblings are low key my fave kids in the series <3 also i love that bug carries a knife because honestly at that point, why wouldn't you?

okay i really wanted to talk about this nancy and bug thing which is simply fascinating to me, particularly the difference in steve and nancy's reaction? firstly, i once again supporting val in jon being weirdo loser boy! what jon did was soooo lame!!!! WHY is he going to vent to the girl he left for nancy about his relationship problems WITH NANCY like miss girl that is not the move.......even if that girl is weirdly chill about it (which i think is fun remnant of being once boundary-less with each other which does need to change for both of them). also i would make sure there is an underwater volcano wherever val pushes him off the boat so that he is forced to become molten lava and crushed into sediment with the very boulder that was bound to him. and he does deserve that because he also hurt nancy! truly nothing more real than bug actively feeling like she's made the wrong dialogue choice in a social interaction. i felt very bad for her, it is NOT a good position to be stuck in between a couple, least of all, with THIS history. also nancy immediately getting upset at jon, frankly i really get it that is a fair thing to be mad at, especially with her well established insecurity about bug and jon's history with each other, and i think the thing that makes it hurt is that jon kind of knows it?? and still does it???? especially with nancy's context of having a fight and then not talking to her about it and then fighting in the morning.......if i were nancy's freind i'd be cheering for her to break up. and bug immediately trying to explain herself and ALSO explain jon os such a oooo tough mood to feel while nancy just feels like its a defence of jon is sooooo oooooo like yeah that is definitely a situation that johnathan has created!!! i also think its very interesting to how steve responds, very securely and calmly, and i think it speaks to not only how sure he feels about her, but also how differently jon postions in steve's life than bug does in nancy's? like i can't help but think of the terrible "she's everything i'm not" thought that nancy has had for a bit, compared to steve who yeah, is feeling low, but has never really compared himself to jon on such an intrinsic level, other than thinking bug deserves better than jon (she does!). very fun set up here and i can't wait to see how you develop it, i am soooo looking forward to the torture scene and possible revelations!!!

i will say that steves insecurities will shine through more in season 4. season 3 kinda sets up everyone for the next season. while steve will never necessarily be jealous of jon, there will be some tensions in regards to the mans fear of abandonment lmao. as for nancy and bug and jon: its such a mess. jon went to bug because hes exhausted and worried and knows that bug understands what he does and DOESNT say. its only something they have together due to their history. for nance: jon loves her and they have their own form of communication for their stubbornness and need to be right, but ultimately this makes them clash as well. nancy is upset BECAUSE she’s recognizing that bug has jons softer understanding while she has his harder understanding (if that makes sense). hes always weak around bug and strong around nancy and she just wants him to be soft with her too (and he wants nancy to be soft as well, show vulnerability)

theyre basically just a giant “pls be vulnerable” mess that shoves bug in between em. poor girl.

i will also point out that bug went to jon for steve advice as well. yeah they have their history together but they didnt just use each other as a crutch for free therapy sessions. she used jon to vent to as well because he will always be there for her and help her and want whats best, regardless of how they ended. im not defending jon 100%, but in that moment he wasnt thinking “i’ll vent to bug because shes always been weak for me” it was “im confused and scared and overwhelmed and need to talk to my best friend” :(
