I had vacation and tooth surgery and thus a lot of time to be lazy! <3 A chunk of it I spent listening to the narrations of some creepypasta series. Though, honestly, I'm not sure they can be called that? They're more episodic paranormal stories. Yes, there's monsters running around and dangerous, maybe scary stuff going on, but they're also incredibly wholesome and soo sweet and very queer! So if you're into that, go look for the stories written by @02321 on r/nosleep and Youtube! My Name's Skyler, I'm a Freelance P.I. narrated by Baron Landred (the title on r/nosleep is I Work as a P.I and a Government Agent approached me to help with a case) and I Deliver Mail to Cryptids narrated by Animas. (And also a bunch of stories more set in the same universe of the Silver King.)

Now back to our regular books! We have 4 princes, 2 kings and 1 queen this month!

Banshee Blues (Nina Blazon): I'm in the editing process of my latest novel, which I'm writing in German, so I felt I should read a German, non-translated book for once. This was the only one in my pile but it is from my favourite German author, so all was well. I have a lot to thank her for. The first novel read from her was Der Dunkle Kuss der Sterne (The Stars' Dark Kiss) and that was the first time I liked first-person viewpoint! Her next book had split POV and different tenses and I had to admit it was done well. Banshee Blues was not quite up to par with her previous works but it went a few new directions than usual which was nice as well. It tried very hard to lead you astray with what's going on and who is evil and who isn't. And while I liked how things turned out between the two leads it would have been monumental to have them stay platonic.

The Fallen King's Penitent Soldier (Tales of the High Court 5) (Megan Derr): Sigh, it's been a ride. I had a good time with the whole series. I love the worldbuilding, really. But it is alright to end it here, while it's still good, you know. In a way, these five stories are all built very similar: Being kidnapped by bad guys, running from the bad guys or running after the bad guys for the first half and afterwards waiting to let other people sort it out. There's probably a limited amount of iterations you can go through while still be interesting. But for these five volumes it was fun! As for book 5 by itself, I think it's a good thing it comes so late in the series. Because it really takes its time. There's a lot introspection going on for the two protagonists which is okay because they go through a lot but it's also very long and sometimes not much else happens. I liked the two of them, I liked how religion was handled, I liked how it went full circle back to Allen's story. I liked the series. Good times. :)

Prince & Knight (Daniel Haack & Stevie Lewis): I wanted this for the pretty pictures. But apparently the universe didn't want me to? I ordered this last year already, but the package went on an odyssee through several cities without ever arriving at my home. I ordered it again this year and … the same thing happened?! 8D The odyssee was shorter this time, mind you, but … why again?! I tried a third time and ordered it for pick up at a local bookstore and that finally worked. Geez! It's a children's picture book so the story is as basic as it goes. Is it goo for children? I wouldn't know. The dragon doesn't die and it's very sweet and very pretty.

In all seinen Farben (Boy Queen) (George Lester): I had some exhausting weeks at work and thought I could use something inspirational. Something about finding your own way and shine. Which happens in this book but there's also a lot of drama going on and I was not prepared for the rock-bottom-hit in the beginning. xD I mean, it was written in the blurb but I've owned the book for a year why should I reread the blurb … I know nothing about drag or make-up or anything in that direction (I did watch like 15 minutes of the drag show at Comic Con Stuttgart last year but that hardly counts), so it was charming and interesting to read about.

We Could Be so Good (Cat Sebastian): I have to apologise to everyone on the waitlist for this at my library because I could have read it faster but … once I realised what sort of direction the 70% drama might take I had a tough time reading on. They were so happy and it was nice and I just did not want to suffer! I did assume, since the book goes out of its way to address how all queer books published during the mid of the last century would have to end badly (and the protagonist outright refusing to read them therefore), it would probably take a turn for a happy ending. That was the only hope that kept me going. If I had known any of the author's other work I maybe wouldn't have worried so much, because it's written in her bio already that she'll only write happy endings?! Well … So for anyone else fearing the drama of a book set in 1959: No queer person was harmed in this book! (Nothing major anyway.) I like the book, though! Enjoyed reading it. Nick and Andy are both sweet. But that fear did something to me, took me a while to recover. :'D

Prince & Assasssin (Perilous Courts 1) (Tavia Lark): I needed something simple for my fragile heart and it seems gay fantasy is my comfort read now in the same way my mom reads stuff named like "The Little Bakery at XYZ Street". And what should I tell you, yeah, there're men who are tenderly and not so tenderly intimate with each other, yeah yeah, but there's also giant talking cats! Giant talking cats! Also, I really like the author's writing style. It's so smooth! I started reading and didn't want to put it down anymore because it read so smoothly! The book itself was so much better than I had expected (which was basically nothing). It won't blow you off your feet but it's pretty enjoyable and surprisingly wholesome. Also the worldbuilding felt just right. I'm looking forward to reading the next volumes soon!

King of Immortal Tithe (Darkmourn 2) (Ben Alderson): Did I buy the expensive hardcover just because I like the illustration more than the one of the paperback? Why hello, that's me. So this is the second fae book I read this year. It's apparently a universal truth now that fae men are the most beautiful and well endowed beings on earth and beyond. Not that I mind, you do you, but why does fae anatomy work the same as humans' actually? Anyway, this is a stand-alone in a series of stories all set within the same universe. I like that concept. Hunting for pieces of lore is fun. Arlo is a feisty character so following him was enjoyable. The switch from enemy to lovers was kinda sudden like … I can see why but personally it still felt sudden. Also Faenir calling Arlo constantly Darling was not my taste but you know, if it's just that, I can overlook it. The twist at the end had me barking out evil laughter (which means approval). I did hold back reading the final chapter until I read the first volume as not to spoil any more! (While they are stand-alones the previous story is referenced in this one.)

Lord of Eternal Night (Darkmourn 1) (Ben Alderson): "He was so tall and his hands were so large and his length was so great and so thick my fingers couldn't touch reaching around it. He was not just a man, he was a god!" I laughed. That's not a literal quote, but a good summary. Yeah. I laughed. And while praising one guy he was also dissing his former lover, the baker's son, for not being as large. Not the poor lad's fault, no need to get mean! Should have known at that point already who was the true evil mastermind. :'P. But in all fairness, there is a little more going on in the story. And well, these books know very well what kind of fantasy they're catering. There's a short guy, a little crafty and feisty, not too weak, and the very tall, very beautiful guy who everyone says is evil, but turns out he isn't so evil, he just has a tragic past, he also falls very hard for the protagonist and oops, maybe he does have some capacity for evil. I did like how the story subverted who's good and who's bad like three times. Otherwise, it's not really complex. But I'm kinda into the ending.

Alpha of Mortal Flesh (Darkmourn 3) (Ben Alderson): The third installment in the series, they've been getting more elaborate with each volume. So instead of the 2 and 3 half characters we had in the first one, there's actually a whole cast in here with motivations and backstories. That was nice. The writing style, however, is still as … trying as hard as in the beginning. It's not bad, mind you, I commend it for trying to use the full range of the English language, but there's a lot of words, making everything longer than needed, and sometimes their choice is really weird. Example: "My tongue broke free. It slithered from the confines of my mouth." But it's just a normal human tongue licking something eagerly yet still very normally! And, they're indie books, yeah, but I do wish all three books would have gone through another round of editing. The unnecessary repetitions and errors made me suffer a little. And while I got a little bored and impatient at the end I do like the story and what it's trying to do. Just that it was trying too hard in some aspects of the writing and not hard enough in others.

That's it for July! Apparently, August will be library month again. My TBR bookshelf disapproves but duh. Let's go and have fun. :P

The end :)

When the sun awaked him, Peter wasn't around. Tony went to his room to change his clothes. Peter bedroom's door slammed behind him. He turned around. Nobody was there. He walked to his room. His hands were shaking. Something wasn't normal. He dressed up quickly and joined Strange and Wong. They had breakfast.

"Have you seen Peter ?

- He allowed us to take food and went upstairs. He said he was still sleepy. Why ?

- Is isn't in his room or mine."

Clouds fulfilled the sky. The house dove into darkness. A cold wind entered the kitchen. It brought the awful smell.

"This isn't good. We must find him, right now, ordered Dr Strange. Wong, check the cave. I'll go upstairs with Mr Stark."

They ran, opened all the doors. Peter were nowhere to be find.

"Peter ?! Peter ?! Tony yelled.

- Is there another floor ?

- Maybe the attic."

They went to his room and unhooked the attic's door on the roof. A ladder fell on the ground.

"Only a little dust. It was used recently."

Tony climbed the ladder. Peter was just standing here, in the middle of the room. Tony ran to him.

"Peter ! Why didn't you answer ? What the hell ?"

The young man didn't answer. Strange joined him.

"You may want to take a step back Mr Stark...

- Peter ! It's Tony ! Answer ! Say something! Are you hurt?"

Tony shook him. Peter's eyes were grey. They fixed him. Tony retreated.

"Peter ...?"

Peter jumped on him, his hands tightening his throat. Tony fell on the ground. He pushed him, but Peter was stronger.

"Please... Peter... Stop..."

Strange caught Peter and threw him away.

"Holy shit, Tony shouted massing his throat. What is wrong with him?

- He's possessed."

Wong joined them in hurry. Peter was on all four, looking at them with anger. He opened his mouth. A loud scream came out. He jumped on them again. Wong and Strange flattened him on the ground.

"Find something to cinch him!"

Tony found an old metallic chained and jailed him into it. The three of them made sure he wasn't able to escape.

"What do we do now ? Asked Tony.

- I will try to contact him."

Strange began incantations.

"Show us your real form."

Peter shouted again. A black matter came out to him. It was monstrous. It screamed to them and disappeared.

"Ok. This demon is a Guilty. He uses guilt to possess persons.

- How do we bring it out of Peter's body ?

- We can't. Peter must find the way.

- So we just watch?!"

Something knocked on the wall. Stronger and stronger.

"We must do something !

- I agree. Are you familiar with astral projection?

- Of course not, you crazy ass !

- Well it's the time to open your mind. I'll send you right in the kid's mind.

- And what do I do then ?

- You persuade him he is innocent."

Tony opened his mouth but Strange yelled in his unknowned language and he passed out.

When he opened his eyes, he was out of the house. A storm raged on it. He ran to the front door. It was closed. He destroyed it with his foot.

"Peter ?!"

Everything in the house was upside down. People were walking in it. Men, women, doing usual daily activities. A young woman crossed the body of an old man. She just went through him.

Tony breathed. He calmed down. Now wasn't the time to freak out. He walked slowly between the human forms. They seemed to notice him but not each other.

He went upstairs. The stairs disappeared as he walked in it.

"What the fuck..."

When he reached to Peter's door, he saw another room. It was a child room, filled with toys. A very young Peter was holding hands with a couple. He really looked like the man.

"Hello Mr Stark."

Peter's kid voice was soft, but his face distorted in a giant smile. The same smile was on the parent's visage. The floated to Tony. He closed the door and went to his room.

It wasn't his anymore. There was clothes everywhere, a desk and a computer. The ladder was anyway in the middle of the room. Peter was sitting on the bed. He looked exactly like the day of their first meeting, except he didn't have eyes. There was only two black holes. Blood flew on his cheeks. In front of him, a man was smiling. Tony recognised uncle Ben from pictures.

The black holes fixed Tony. The blood covered Peter's teeth while he smiled. They didn't move.

Tony entered slowly the room. He grabbed the ladder and reached to the attic.

"The last one... He whispered."

Peter was sitting where they cinched him. May was sitting behind him, playing with his hair. Ben and the parents arrived. This time, Peter smile was normal.

"Meet my family Tony. I am happy here. With them."

Tony swallowed.

"They are not real Peter. Come with me. We must leave this place.

- I can not Tony. I'm right where I belong.

- No... Come with me ...

- Where ?!"

Peter stood up.

"In a place where I am the reason my relatives died ?"

The fake Parker family whispered.

"Why did you do it to us... We loved you... You did it...

- Don't listen to them. They are not your family ! You didn't kill anybody !

- How could you know ?!

- Your parents died in a plane crash !

- To come home because I wanted to see them !

- You didn't caused the crash ! It is only bad luck ! Your aunt had cancer ! You can't think this is your fault !

- She would have take a better care of herself he she didn't have to look over me !"

Peter became bigger and bigger. A black shadow surrounded him.

"And your uncle...

- I met the guy ! I met the guy who shot him a few minutes before ! I could have stop him !

- Why did you do that to us ? We loved you, we loved you.

- This is madness you couldn't know!

- So tell me why Tony ?! Why should I go back in a world were everyone who loves me die ?

- It's not true ! You haven't done anything wrong ! You are a good person ! Bad things happened to you and this is crap but you didn't cause their death !"

Shadow Peter groaned while the other shapes were still whispering.

"I know you wouldn't harm anyone ! Especially not someone who loves you !

- And how could you know Tony?"

The voice was loud and creepy. Tony took a step closer to it.

"The same way I can tell that you are not Peter. Because I love you."

The wood cracked on Tony's left. He saw kid Peter looking at him with huge brown eyes.

"Do you ?"

His voice was soft and trembling. Tony kneeled before him.

"I do. I love you.

- Like daddy does ?

- Not exactly."

The kid grew up. It was an adolescent. He still had his eyes. And no blood on his face.

"Like uncle Ben? Or aunt May ?

- No. Not really.

- Not as strong as they did ?

- Not... Not the same way."

Peter was twenty again. Tony noticed shadow Peter was regressing. He put his hand on twenty years old Peter's chest.

"Listen to me. You didn't kill anyone."

Peter looked at the shadows.

"I killed them..."

The fake family talked louder.

"Why did you do it to us ? We loved...

- Enough, Tony stopped them."

He smiled at his Peter and faced the monsters.

"You killed us Peter ! You...

- I said enough ! You all shut the fuck up. You're not even ghosts."

They whisted. Shadow Peter stepped back. Tony looked at the real Peter again.

"I'm in love with you for a few years now. You didn't hurt me. I didn't die. I won't until a long time. And even if I die prematurely, it wouldn't be your fault. You aren't guilty Peter. Stop blaming yourself for what happened to others."

Peter was crying.

" I could have... Save them...

- How ? Tell me how ? You were a kid wanting to see his parents. You couldn't change it. This is normal. You're uncle was in the wrong place at the wrong moment. How could you know ? You didn't invent cancer treatment at twenty years old. How could you be blamed for it ?

- I...

- It's time Peter."

The world was collapsing around them. The shadows were small and agitated. There was not more ground or floor. The house was in pieces, turning slowly around them.

"What time is it Mr Stark ?

- Time to forgive yourself."

Everything disappeared. Tony fell for entire minutes until he touch something. He straightened. Wong was looking at him. Strange had Peter in his arms.

"What happened ?

- The demon came out of his body. Steven aspired him in a bottle. He looks over the kid now."

Tony joined Strange. Peter was pale.

"He is... He isn't...

- He is alive. Asleep. You should carry him to bed. I have something to do with this demon."

He pointed the bottle shaking on the floor. Tony didn't care anymore. He lifted Peter's body to his own room. He lay next to him on the bed.

He inhaled and exhaled deeply to calm his heartbeat. His fingers were laced with Peter's. He didn't know how much time he looked at the roof before hearing Peter mumbled.

"You're awake, he asked slowly.

- Yeah...

- How do you feel ?

- Relieved."

Peter put his head on Tony's chest.

"I'm so sorry Mr Stark...

- Everything is alright Sweetheart.

- I... This thing was in me...

- Yeah. From the beginning. But now, it won't hurt you anymore. Even if it does, we'll destroy it.

- Holy shit Mr Stark... What exactly happened ?

- What do you remember?

- The attic. I went there. I saw the shadows. Then you came. It's blurry. I remember sadness, joy. Relief. My body guests so bad...

- We chained you."

Peter headed up.

"You what ?

- The spirit was in your body, and you attacked me. So we chained you."

Peter laughed out and loud. Tony joined him.

"Mr Stark ?

- Yes Peter ?

- Let's promess we won't go in vacation before a long time.

- I swear."

They enjoyed eachother's heat and were just happy.

"I... I remember something else.

- What is it ?

- What you said... You said you lov...

- Hush. We will have this conversation when you'll be twenty-one.

- But ..."

Tony rolled over to top Peter. Peter blushed. Tony cuddled his cheeks. His lips approached the young man below him.

"It must stay secret for now. Do you understand?"

Peter nodded weakly.

"I'll say it again to you in a few months. You will answer then."

He nodded again.

"For now..."

Tony licked his lips. His tongue touched Peter's lips. The boy moaned.

"We'll have to settled with that..."

He joined their lips. Peter was nearly begging for his tongue to meet his. Tony kissed him deeply, with his full heart. Peter grabbed his shirt. He didn't know how he would be content with this only kiss.

Big post coming!

Hello, guys! It's about a time since the last time I showed up and interacted around here. With my most sincere feelings, I'm sorry for this! My absence is justified: We had a stupid Marketing action in my company that overloaded my inbox with card orders to analyze. It took me more than a month to get rid of the accumulation! And this whole time was devoured working in and out my working time, sometimes in weekends, day offs. Everything I could do to get it done and get my supervisor out of my neck. In the meantime, we finally got my daughter's diagnosis, which threw me on a search for the proper treatment for her condition and substitution for the professionals who suddenly stopped accepting her health plan. In a matter of 2 weeks, she lost her whole team of professionals! They all dropped the plan from the neurologist to the occupational therapist due to the new law and the prices paid for the appointments. We're still searching for professionals to take care of her, but things are getting a little lighter now that work is stable and my vacation time is around the corner.

Should I place a "keep reading bar" here?? haha, joke.

So, I'm starting to reorganize my life. And one of the things I want back is my writing skills - that went down the river of worriers flooding my mind these days. I want to get back on track with producing new pieces every week for you guys. However, my hyper-focus has changed a little. I still love Vikings. Always will! But the series is over in a while, which contributed to my mind's block on writing for it. I have a LOT of unmade requests to produce - and I intend to post them all! - but I also started following different projects, as you had the chance to see in my last posts here. Paranormal Order is the principal of them - Although being a Brazillian Project with my favorite streamers, the T Team has been working hard to translate and subtitle everything in English for you guys. And I'm an active part of this team, making my best efforts every week, ten minutes at a time, to bring this project to you guys. There are my originals, maybe some new series (Stranger Things is rocking, isn't it?), and different themes I may start writing for.

So, if you like my work and want to see something you didn't see me writing for, drop your suggestions! I may be coming back around for some new posts soon! And if you're here since the beginning, THANK YOU!! For every drop of support, every day by my side and your comprehension of my troubled real life. I think you know me better than the vast majority of the people I interact with at this point, save for a select few. I’m not sure if that speaks as much to the fact that I like hanging out with you as it does to the fact that I don’t have many friends. My spooky reputation tends to scare people off, but I’m not exactly crying in my cornflakes over it.

I wouldn’t want you to turn into a Gremlin on me, so refreshments will be provided. Wear something you can move in, definitely not a dress or heels (it pains me to say this). Can I pick you up at 5:00?

Also that I like Radiohead and am not beneath asking a woman out while she’s trying to do her job. I’ll offer you a bonus fact, or more accurately a confession: I didn’t really need to come down to Quantico last week when we had coffee. I just wanted to get coffee with you. Don’t tell my boss.

Now you have to tell me something about yourself. It’s only fair.

If there were any good places to spot UFOs around here, I’d take you in a heartbeat. If you’re ever up for a road trip out west, let me know. Washington State is a hotbed of UFO activity. Plus they have really good coffee.

Something about me...I like to read a lot. I think I’d say Jane Eyre is my favorite book of all time (not that you asked). I’m also addicted to bubble baths. Actually, reading Jane Eyre IN a bubble bath is pretty much my idea of heaven (ideally with a glass of wine).

I’ve been to Seattle once. Too much rain, though it was very green and pretty. Isn’t that where Bigfoot lives?

Only 4 elements can enter the multiverse: Slime (The Lich & Jevin), Redstone (Tango or Mumbo?), Ice (Stress), and Dirt (Grian, much to his dismay). Only the elementals can see the book. Grian's the protagonist with his sidekick Scar. He originally started collecting the belts because they were shiny but eventually decided to read the book and find out what they were for when Scar said he didn't see it. Doc, False, and Iskall are major obstacles because they don't believe the book exists.</p>

Xisuma - Making barriers, teleporting, and transforming into different mobs. Scar - Making mutant plants & boosting other hermits' attack & health. (-@datsaltyperson.)

-Demon AU :: Something enters the overworld and turns into a supernatural style-demon through Dimentional Distortion. Who gets posessed first, who goes crazy, and who actually kills it? Honestly I think that, if anything, Tango would know how to gank it, for obvious reasons. (-@fireflower-dusk.)

-High Street AU :: Everyone owns a different shop on the same street or some run a shop together (-@violets-arepurple.)

-Cat AU :: Either they're were always cats, or Hels turned everyone, including himself, into a cat, and they have to survive and overcome challenges in the Season 7 world. An example of a challenge would be Cub's a Sand Cat(the cats that always look like kittens no matter how old they are and live in deserts), and everyone's not sure if he can actually swim, so they have to find a way for him to get around without involving water. -How about a secret AU.. Every hermit has their big secrets and when Grian joined. He doesn't really know anything about those secrets even till season 7. Not many hermits talked to him in S6 anyway.. Mumbo was the closest to him so they would have regular chats For Iskall is mostly business related things Grian wants to know why so he set out on a quest to force the others to at least talk to him so he wouldn't be lonely. MARVEL PHASE 4 MOVIES I WANT TO SEE! Excluding Black Panther, we still have four movies left of Phase 3, but that won't stop people like myself hoping and speculating Marvel's next moves! The obvious films we'll see are the sequels to the characters that haven't achieved their trilogies yet - Ant-Man/The Wasp and the Guardians seem to be the next ones to do so (with James Gunn currently writing GOTG Vol.3, and Ant-Man co-star, Michael Peña kiiinda confirming a third antsized outing). Stark, Cap and Thor have all had their runs it seems, hence why there doesn't seem to be any word on their future films beyond Avengers 4. The Marvel formula seems to be: Each hero gets their own trilogy, then after that, they simply feature in other people's movies as well as the ensemble Avengers flicks. We don't know their fates just yet, but if not all of them simply die, you can expect them to take more of a backseat in the MCU, to help shift focus towards the "newcomers", which, at this point, are Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Spidey and Captain Marvel. So what I'm going to talk about here is not just what sequels we'll see... because that's easy. I'm going to talk about what I want to see happen in them, using my knowledge, as well as sheer hopes and fantasies! (NOTE: I won't discuss possible Black Panther sequel storylines right now seeing as though not everyone has seen it yet! Though a sequel is more than likely). Spider-Man 2: With a 2020 release date already confirmed, this movie has surpassed the hypothetical stage! The question is, what's it all about? Well, thankfully, Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige spoke briefly about it, saying that the movie would start straight after the events of Avengers 4. Not knowing the outcome of that film makes it quite tricky to figure out, but knowing that the whole cosmic infinity crusade is Spidey's first Avengers outing, Peter Parker's sequel will most likely focus around settling back down to 'reality'. Imagine fighting numerous space battles during the summer and then having to go back to school?! What a nightmare! We see Mack Gargan (Scorpion) teased on multiple occasions during the first movie, so we'll most likely see him return more prominently, though I don't think he'll be the main villain. Tom Holland has expressd his interest in Kraven the Hunter, saying that he's one of his favourite Spidey villains... and I'd have to agree. The odd character (and his motives) may be difficult to translate onto the big screen, but if you can bring a sentient tree and a talking raccoon to life, then anything is possible. It's also said that another hero will feature in "Spidey 2", much like how Iron-Man was a supporting role for him the first time around. This is where I talk about who I'd like to see Spider-Man buddy up with: Drax! How stupid and impractical would that be? Imagine Peter hiding this brute of an alien inside of his tiny room and sneaking him around the apartment away from Aunt May. Peter is a clever kid, so having to put up with Drax's literal and blunt way of thinking/processing would make for some great, counter-productive action. Besides, in the first Guardians movie, Drax says to Quill regarding Earth, "Sounds like a place I would like to visit". The idiotic brawler will more than likely have his wish come true during Infinity War, which makes it possible that he could stay behind sneakily, or (even funnier) he gets left behind by accident as the Milano flies back into space once Avengers 4 ends. It's a long shot I guess, but if I worked for Marvel, I'd totally pitch this! Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3: James Gunn has stated that the third movie will be the wrap-up for most of the current Guardians of the Galaxy, which makes me think that some will either die or retire, whilst newcomers come forth to 'replace' them. By the looks of things, the Sovereign will play a larger role, seeing as though Ayesha is responsible for creating Adam Warlock. I think Adam will actually be the villain for most of the film, simply following orders from Ayesha whilst figuring out who he is and if his destructive purpose is set in stone. I think we'll also see the classic Guardians (led by Stallone) team up with the Starlord and friends... maybe even mixing, matching and splitting one another up into different teams throughout the film. Another cool idea I thought about what bringing Iron-Man into it. His intrigue of dangers that lie beyond the stars, and his impulsive desire to keep fighting crime after trying to call it quits numerous times may play into his choice to take a vacation to deep space. Once the Guardians come into the fold during Infinity War, the Avengers' world suddenly becomes much bigger than before, as they're no longer bound to their home planet. Iron-Man has actually joined the Guardians team in the comics, whilst sporting a pretty cool space suit. I feel like this could be possible... depending on whether or not Stark dies however. There is also a fear of overusing Iron-Man too, seeing as though he's featured in the most movies in the MCU. Ant-Man/The Wasp 2 (Ant-Man 3): This is confusing - so will this be Ant-Man and The Wasp 2 or will it be Ant-Man 3? Is Ant-Man and The Wasp even considered Ant-Man 2? Eh, the main thing is, it'll be Scott's third flick. The second mini adventure is looking good, judging from the teaser trailer, and I can't wait to see the villain Ghost in action. They're definitely returning to the Quantum Realm in hopes of rescuing Janet Van Dyne. Whether or not they're fully sucessful is yet to be seen, but we can still try and figure out Scott and Hope's future. The only thing I can think of that can be the catalyst for a third 'save the world in a small-scale manner' movie is something to do with the Quantum Realm. In the comics, there are creatures that inhabit these sub-atomic worlds. If our heroes unintentionally find them and/or awaken them, it could mean disaster for our world. Another idea I have is something to do with nanobots: extremely tiny machines that can complete tasks that would be impossible for a pair of human hands. Most nanobot inventors have good intentions, but what's stopping a supervillain from forcing humans to inhale a swarm of deadly micro machines? I would absolutely LOVE a homage to the 1966 film, Fantastic Voyage, where a submarine crew shrink down and journey into a scientist's body to mend his damaged brain. How cool would a whole battle scene look inside of someone's body?! Imagine them fighting their way from one end of the body to the other, as the human's organs and bodily functions become obstacles. I'd also love a homage to the classic Japanese Godzilla movies with Giant-Man VS some huge monster, crashing into tall skyscrapers and essentially causing a big mess. Doctor Strange 2: Scott Derrickson has expressed his interest in the villain Nightmare. The name tells you everything you need to know really. Okay, hear me out on this: Think back to the first Ghostbusters movie when there's a huge rise in paranormal activity and there's just ghosts and ghouls flying around causing havoc. I think it'd be cool if a similar thing happened. Imagine a rupture between the alternate dimensions (similar to Thor the Dark World when the Convergence bled the 9 realms together momentarily). Big cities are suddenly full of unexplainable creatures and entities from vast and diverse dimensions that no one knew existed. Now, that sounds like a 'Nightmare' to me. It would be a twist on the villain's usual intentions, but it would make for some pretty rad calamities. Another villain we should expect to see is Mordo - returning to fulfil the duties he feels are right. According to him, there are "Too many sorcerers," and we saw that he had learnt to extract the magical energy from people. Has he learnt to do this himself? Or has he learnt it from someone? If so, this could be another villain; Brother Voodoo. It could unlock a new range of sorcery in the form of Voodoo, where powers are able to be taken away and redistributed. Both the Nightmare and Voodoo premises are exciting to me, but there is one thing that will unfold for certain: Strange's journey to becoming Sorcerer Supreme. Though I don't think we'll see it happen until the third movie, the second film will definitely highlight the dangers and hardwork that come with becoming such an unparallelled force of mystic might. For all I care, call the second movie 'Doctor Strange: Realm of Nightmares', or 'Doctor Strange: Voodoo Rising', then simply call the third one 'Doctor Strange: Sorcerer Supreme'. Also... how amazing would it be if Loki teamed up with him?! It would be in no way a harmonious experience, but that's why it'd be so good! We kind of got a taste of it during Ragnarok, and I doubt I'm the only one who wants to see these two magic wielders join forces in a disfunctional way. Strange could learn from the mischief and tricks, and Loki could learn from the discipline and sense of duty. Loki was taught on Asgard, and Strange has learnt on Earth by reading countless books. Their experinces are incredibly different, so their diversity would work wonders. Plus, just the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston would be fighting side by side is enough reason for Marvel to say yes! Captain Marvel 2: Perhaps a little early to try and figure out the premise to the sequel, but hey-ho, what else am I gonna do at 3am in the morning? Sleep?! I don't think so. From what we know (and what we can tell), Captain Marvel's first movie is set in the 90's with a Nick Fury that has perfect eyesight. This indicates that she will be tied to SHIELD in some way once she aquires her powers. The thing we have to figure out is where she's been all this time if it's set in the 90's, and why she's suddenly brought into the fold for Avengers 4 after being seemingly dormant (and essentially nonexistent). Chances are, the aftermath of her first movie leaves her trapped in space, caught in the middle of the Skrull/Kree war. Both aliens races are too big to shrug off and disregard so easily, so I imagine that both aliens will continue to play a role in Captain Marvel 2. More importantly however, I think the sequel will mostly focus on Carol not only returning to Earth (after Avengers 4), but making herself properly known to the world. Will the world accept this incredibly powerful, god-like hero? Will she even feel like she still belongs on Earth, or if she's even wanted there for that matter? We could also see the whole Secret Invasion begin to take effect in the MCU, which could possibly roll over into Avengers 5 and be the plot of that film. The shapeshifting Skrulls would cause mayhem and disarray from the inside, and hinder friendships between the heroes. No one would know who to trust! A Bucky Movie (Cap 4): I know I said all that about the 'trilogy rule', but if someone other than Steve Rogers became Captain America, it would be more of a fresh start rather than a fourth Cap film. There's been a few moments (including deleted scenes) that elude to Bucky picking up the shield eventually... and if Cap happens to die during his fight with Thanos then it would be the ideal time for Bucky to become more than just the guy with the metal arm. Falcon is a possible candidate as well, but between Bucky and Sam, I feel like Sebastian's character would benefit from evolving more. Without the shield, Falcon can still fly and has reconnaissance skills. For Bucky, he is nothing more than a skilled fighter and soldier (sorry Tumblr fan girls), but give him a star spangled suit and a shield, and it gives the character a whole new dimension - the Sergeant would be promoted to Captain! So if this is the case, the dawn of a new era can begin. The movie could focus on Bucky mourning the loss of Steve, and whether he could ever live up to what he was able to achieve. Would the world accept and idolise someone who was previously a Hydra assassin? It could be a great redemption story, as he eradicates any remaining demons whilst also proving himself not only as a hero, but as a worthy and rightful replacement for Steve. A Bucky and Black Widow enspionage/team-up movie with this premise would be pretty cool too. Namor the Submariner: Now then, we finally get to a debut character for Phase 4! Though Namor was one of the first ever Marvel heroes, we've never seen him brought to the big screen. Now would be the perfect time, as there's this little thing currently going on called the MCU... perhaps you've heard of it. The ocean covers 70% of our planet, and we know more about space than we do about our deep waters - that's crazy! Forget movies for a moment, there could actually be an Atlantis for all we know because we haven't even managed to fully explore our oceans yet. This could also be a plausible reasoning for Namor and the whole of Atlantis to suddenly 'pop up' within the MCU. It is such an integral place, and much like Wakanda, it is somewhat segregated from the rest of the world, making it feel like it may as well be alone. Namor could bring something new to the MCU... after all, Marvel Studios always seem to try new/different things all the time to keep the franchise fresh and progressive. Portrayed as a stern and often arrogant sea dweller, he could maybe serve as a villain during his first appearance (before joining the Avengers). I think the only issue when it comes to water-related heroes, their presence and required contribution is potentially unnecessary. Not only would Namor be a difficult character to bring to life, but I feel like it would be challenging to make him feel relevant and integral... but if Marvel Studios are up to the challenge then I'd implore it. Right, there you have it... my fantasy Phase 4! Come back in a couple years time when I do the same for Phase 5! Do you like the sound of my ideas and theories? Or do you think they're terrible?    **WARNING- this book is very graphic and disturbing, and I do not recommend it being read by anyone underage or easily triggered by any form of abuse.

The Butterfly Garden is written in changing POVs of FBI agent Victor Hanoverian and an 18 year old female victim known as 'Maya'.

When I say that the POV changes, boy does it CHANGE- there are no actual 'chapters', only page breaks. It flows back and forth seamlessly from the interrogation room after the discovery of the 'Garden' and Maya's flashbacks of her time before and during her kidnapping.

The 'Garden' is a place where the kidnapped victims of the Gardener are held- essentially a greenhouse with rooms. As the girls are taken in, the Gardener tattoos each of their backs with intricate butterfly wings.

I was up until 3am trying to finish this book, because it reads in such a way that I HAD to know what was coming next. I'd recommend for anyone that likes reading books with (extremely) darker themes, and who can stomach some really twisted sh*t.

   **I'm going with slight spoilers because I suck at writing reviews

Let me just start with this: if you've read The 5th Wave, chances are you're already aware of the COMPLETELY ANNOYING point of view changes. Personal opinion, of course, but seriously?? It was so frustrating to me trying to read this simply because when I felt that I'd finally built up to a point where some new plot info was about to be divulged- IT STARTS OVER IN A WHOLE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS POINT OF VIEW.

That aside, I did enjoy this book. I read The 5th Wave last year (it was 1 out of 2 that I read the entire year), and I had The Infinite Sea sitting in my closet collecting dust since around winter of last year.

I love that this book focuses more on Cassie being with the group, however I found that Cassie was slightly more nausea inducing than in the last book. Not inherently bad, but I felt that Cassie and Evan's relationship was maybe a little too...prioritized? Considering it's literally supposed to be an alien apocalypse (side note: the movie casting of Evan was a big no for me, just not what I had in mind). I also have to note that the pace of The Infinite Sea is different from The 5th Wave. More violence and revelations seem to happen back to back in this one when compared to the first book.

I'd recommend (obviously) to anyone that enjoyed The 5th Wave as well as anyone partial to dystopian settings.

Angelfall by Susan Ee (Penryn & the End of Days #1)

Where do I even start with this one?? Angelfall is one of those books that I thought would be a nice concept in synopsis but poorly executed in reality. I was SO WRONG.

It isn't a new concept that Angels are darker and meaner in spirit than what people assume from biblical stories- I can't think of any titles, but there are several movies and books portraying them as such. While the Angels in Angellfall are as far from guardian angels as you can get, they're also at times sarcastic bundles of fluff (ok that might be stretching things a bit, sue me if you like pocket lint).

Exhibit A: Raffe. While it's apparent from the beginning that the general census of Angels is that they're evil, murderous creatures (seriously, who kidnaps a disabled child from a wheel chair?), Raffe shows that they don't all share the same opinion of humans. As Penryn and Raffe interact on their way to save Penryn's sister from the evil, kidnapping Angels, you can observe the humor and care Raffe shows (albeit in a backhanded way at times) that helps to prove that point.

I'd recommend to pretty much anyone. It's a relatively short read and absolute oddness of some of the characters paired with humor helps break up the serious bits.

I chose not to use so many good ones simply because I feel that the humor of them would be diluted if read before reading the book.

The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran

This books follows Nefertari, the niece of the heretic queen Nefertiti. From a young age Nefertari has to face the ridicule and hate that comes with being the last living relative of a queen that turned away from the ancient Egyptian deities for the monotheistic views of her husband. She grows up with the kindness of only her nurse and two friends, Asha and Ramesses (Ramesses II, the crown prince and future Pharaoh of Egypt). Nefertari leaves for a period of 12 months after Ramesses comes of age and marries his first wife, both with sadness and a determination to better herself.

The detail that the author put into writing this book is obvious, and I feel that it must mean extensive research or an intense love of history. The way that she describes the day to day interactions of the people and the items and customs of the society is mind blowing. The attention to detail is absolutely lovely and paints what I feel is the perfect backdrop and visual of the time period.

I'd recommend for anyone that enjoys detailed writing and historical fiction.

Note: while there aren't any 'scenes' necessarily, there are blatant allusions to sexual themes.

The last night of my holidays

5 awesome rest days. Finally, I got to rest for almost a whole week. I've been waiting for this to have a long vacation for the past 3 months. To have fun and have time for myself to rest.

On the night of 10th, I went out with my sister to have shisha just near home. We stayed until 12mn just talking, drinking coffee and having shisha. Actually, It became our thing if we want to chill outside. Then we asked for bill, I gave cash as payment and wait for change. After the waiter return the change, I noticed that my payment is still there inside plus the change. I totally forgot the waiter's face but I asked someone from them and tell them about the issue. The waiter keep on saying thank you to us for being honest.

On 11th, I woke up late since the check in was 3pm. However, I decided to went out by 4pm. We are 7 total and we booked for 4 rooms which is 2 of each rooms are connected. Surprisingly, the booking should only for overnight but my co-workers decided to push 1 more day and it's her treat. So for the first night, we got drunk, I mean I got drunk. It's been a long time since I got drunk coz I haven't been drinking so much for the past few months. I woke up around 4am on bed which I don't know how did I ended up there. I got up and change room, walking in the lobby of the hotel barefoot and going to the other room to sleep. I tried to sleep but my sleep was very shallow. And then we all woke up around 8am to have the free breakfast on GF. I noticed that my legs are hurting and only to found out that I have alot of bruises which I don't know how I got it all. I think, it's because of the beds frames on that room. Anyway, for the whole day, we just sleep and got up around 7pm. We thought we can swim but the pool timing is 7am to 7pm only, so we decided to walk outside and find CHAI TEA and bought cup noodles. After we reached our rooms, we decided to play card game (1, 2, 3 PASS), whoever is the loser, we need to choose from truth or dare but later on became TRUTH only. all the questions are SPG. I can't believe that I'm the youngest but I'm the most experience of them all. Napatanong tuloy ako sa sarili ko, sobrang wild ko ba before? ganun ba ko ka-curious sa lahat? I'm kinda feel disgusting to myself and disappointed. But then, I became their teacher that night. Telling some stuffs that they don't know that they can help them. After the game, we watched 2 consecutive horror movies. It's been a while since I watched horror movies ( Grave encounter & Same above as below). I stopped watching horror movies like paranormal activity type of horror move since I live by myself in an isolated house in ILOILO for work. I think I was 23yrs old that time. Funny part, we booked for 2 rooms, but that night, everyone fit in 1 king size bed and 1 queen bed. No one had the courage to go to the other room. HAHAHA. On 13th morning, we woke up around 9am and took our breakfast then after that we decided to swim. It's been awhile I swim to the pool since the pandemic started. Then we checked out by 1pm and reached home by around past 2pm.

From 13th afternoon til today, 15th, I just rest and watch movies and of course, browsing my tumblr and writing blogs.

Unexpected things happened, She finally found my blog. I know to myself that she will find it soon but I didn't know that she will find it this early. Maybe, I just know her too well that she will stalk me very well and find me here.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this. I'm feeling happy like there are butterflies in my stomach. We have this place again, our place, our own place. I'm happy kasi kahit papano I can reach her, not just her but her mind, her heart and her soul. Actually, It's a very overwhelming feeling.

However, I'm really worried. I don't know if this is right. I worried about her, ayoko na siyang mahirapan pa. If only I can save her from all of these, I will do it. I'm literally crying right now while typing this part. It's been a while since I cried again. Even myself, di ko na din alam yung sagot kung.. away from her or being with her.

We already away from each other kasi nga LDR naman na, pero we already did na wag mag usap but still bakit hindi nagbabago ung pain. Bakit parang mas sumasakit? mas tumutusok sa kaloob looban. minsan may time pa na unbearable ung sakit.

But. If we are together, I don't know if I can be that person na maging reason ng bad relationship sa family niya. Lalo na, I cannot bear to see her hurting because of that.

Hindi ko na alam kung alin ba dyang pain ung worth it maramdaman.

I've been asking these questions to God:

Mali ba mahalin siya?

Kailan pa naging mali ang magmahal?

Bakit kahit ano ung piliin, may kailangan may masaktan?

Bakit kailangan may i-sacrifice at i-give up?

Gusto lang naman namin mahalin ung isa't isa palagi.

We know that this will be hard, but bakit naman sobrang hirap. fucking hard.

Paging Dr. Scully, chp 4

(Note: I’ve decided to title the chapters according to roughly where they fall in season 1)

Paging Dr. Scully 1: Squeeze / 2: Jersey Devil / 3: Shadows

Paging Dr. Scully 4: Ghost in the Machine

It takes less than 30 minutes to wander through the Liberty Bell exhibit hall and eat their cheesesteaks on a park bench.

“Do you want to grab some coffee?”

“I guess that depends,” says Scully.

“Depends on what?” He stretches his legs out and leans back against the bench, wiping the last of the cheesesteak grease off his face with a tissue-thin napkin.

“On whether I’m going to have to keep myself awake for another three hours on my drive back home tonight.”

She’s not sure what she’s asking. She’s not suggesting they shack up in his hotel room, but it’s midnight and she’s dangerously close to nodding off right here on the bench.

“I could keep you awake, drive back with you,” Mulder offers an arm to her as he stands.

“What about your car?”

“It’s a fleet sedan. Left it at the Philly offices.”

“How’d you get here?”

“Taxi,” he shrugs again.

“So you could drive back with me tonight? To D.C.?”

“If you don’t mind swinging by the offices to grab my bag, then, yeah. Sure.”

Scully wipes her hands against her pant legs and smiles up at him. “Okay, but coffee first.”

They find an all-night diner and slide across from one another in a vinyl booth. The coffee tastes like pitch and diesel, but Scully hardly cares. The combination of this sudden bout of spontaneity and the gleam in Mulder’s eye has her buzzing already, and no amount of bitter coffee is going to dampen it.

“So, what was it that possessed you to call me up tonight?” She asks him pointedly as she shakes a pack of sugar in her cup.

“What an interesting choice of phrase, dear doctor,” Mulder teases. “What possessed me indeed? That’s exactly what the victim in my case here thought she was experiencing. Seems everyone around her kept coming to a tragic end. She thought that maybe she was possessed by the restless spirit of her dead boss.” He unspools the story like a ghost tale, pausing dramatically, leaning toward her.

Scully pauses, holding the coffee cup halfway to her mouth, her eyes wide. He’s serious. He’s presenting it as if he’s joking, but she can see he’s serious.

“Was she?” Scully asks him honestly.

Mulder shrugs. “I think so, but the supervising agents on this case weren’t so sure. They didn’t take too kindly to my theories. More interested in pinning the deaths on a local terrorist cell than actually uncovering the truth.” He takes a long swig of his black coffee and glances out the window.

“Do you usually uncover all this... I don’t know,” she pauses, “weird stuff?”

“That’s my deal,” he nods. “They put me on cases where the usual avenues of investigation turn up empty.”

“So that explains your Jersey Devil thing. And the questions in the hospital about whether I believe in aliens.”

“I guess so,” he smiles. “And it’s not every day I meet a girl who can quote me Fermi’s Paradox.”

“That was my undergrad degree talking,” she takes another swallow of coffee. “I majored in physics before med school.”

Mulder’s eyes widen in approval.

She continues. “Not the most typical route, I know, but I liked all the big questions physics asks. And the mathematical theories made O-Chem seem pretty easy in comparison.”

Sometimes Scully feels like she shouldn’t talk too much about her education. More than one girlfriend has reminded her how guys can feel threatened by smart girls. Sometimes even her own mother had suggested that she downplay the fact she graduated early, or that she finished with high honors.

So even though she’s mostly unapologetic for her intellect -- and has the long dating dry spells to prove it -- it’s still not like her to spout off to potential suitors about things like finding O-Chem easy. But there’s something about Mulder that tells her he not only isn’t threatened, but he is finding it compelling. She meets his eyes, a bit embarrassed, and remembers it’s polite to turn the tables.

“How about you? What’d you do in school?”

“Psychology.” He half-mumbles. “At Oxford. Seems the FBI thought I had a knack for getting in the heads of criminals.” He grins.

“So you’re a criminal profiler with a penchant for the paranormal. I think I’ve got it figured out now.”

“Penchant, nice word. Especially at this hour. Remind me not to underestimate you when we play Scrabble.” He glances at his watch. “Should we get going? It’s going to be a late night as it is.”

Scully nods, pretending she didn’t notice he said “when” instead of “if’ in that last sentence, and tips the last drops from her cup. “You want to drive first shift?” She says, holding out her keys.

They’re an hour and a half into the drive, Scully back at the wheel, when the conversation turns. She had asked him about his family, where his parents lived now, where he grew up, all the usual chit chat that gets brought up when you’re just starting to connect.

“You said you had a sister, where does she live?” Scully asks nonchalantly as she checks over her back shoulder for a lane change. She maneuvers the car in line and glances back at Mulder, surprised to find him gone quiet, a solemn look across his face.

“What is it?” Scully pauses.

“My sister disappeared when I was 12.” He stops and takes a breath. “We… um… we never found her.”

Scully doesn’t know what to say so she waits to see if he wants to tell her more.

“She’s the reason I got into all these cases,” he goes on. “Her disappearance was dismissed as unexplained. We never got a satisfactory answer.”

“I'm so sorry,” Scully feels like she should pull over and intently listen, but there’s a sense in which the moving car is propelling him. This way, he doesn’t have to look at her. She senses that it’s easier if he can just stare ahead and talk.

“It’s okay.” He swallows. “I’ve done a lot of work to understand it. And I’ve come to believe that I can find her. These cases are a way to get some answers. If not for myself, then at least for people like me, when science can’t explain their losses.”

“That's a beautiful way to look at it.” Scully looks across the console at the stark relief of his profile in the streetlights. “To give a larger purpose to what you do.”

“I’m glad you see it that way,” he smiles weakly toward her. “The Bureau doesn’t always. They think I’m caught up in some harebrained pet project.”

“Well, screw what they think,” Scully blurts out emphatically, surprising herself a little. All these revelations make her like him. A lot. He’s wounded, and noble, and it’s making her want to defend his every move.

“I should get you to come and work for me,” he teases. “It’d be nice to have an ally.”

“I’ll keep that in mind in case this doctor thing doesn’t work out,” she teases back, smiling, resisting the urge she’s feeling to reach across and take his hand.

It is almost 5 am when they pull, bleary-eyed, in to Mulder’s parking lot. Sleep is drifting over them both so thickly, it is all Scully can do to push the button, pop the trunk and wave goodbye as Mulder stumbles up his stoop.

“Get some sleep,” she calls out weakly.

“I’ll call you soon, okay?” He calls back, waving.

She sleeps away her Saturday completely.

Her Sunday shift bleeds into Monday, and then they ask her to stay on because they’re suddenly short staffed. A scheduling supervisor approved too many people for too many vacation days at once. Even during normal stretches, it’s not that unusual for work to swallow weeks whole without her noticing. She keeps clothes in a locker at the hospital, and naps in empty rooms between rotations.

So it’s Wednesday before she realizes that if he’s left a message at her home number, he probably thinks she’s blowing him off. She’s never been good at what they call the “work-life balance” and she knows it has driven more than a few potential dates away. But she just doesn’t know how to give her work anything less than everything she has.

Thursday afternoon she’s writing orders and reviewing charts, hopeful she might get a chance to rush home and take a real bath after several days of hospital quickie showers, when she glances up and sees Mulder pacing in the hall of the ER. He doesn't see her.

Scully smoothes her scrubs and tucks a couple greasy flyaway hairs behind her ears. At first she’s annoyed she never bothers to tuck a tube of lipgloss in her pocket, but as she watches him, it’s evident he’s far too worried about something to take stock of how she looks.

“Mulder,” she calls out, walking toward him where he’s pacing. “What’s going on? Are you okay?”

“Doc.” He looks up, startled and pale-faced. “Oh that’s right, this is your hospital. I didn’t even think….”. He trails off, wiping a bead of sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand.

“Seriously, are you okay? You look like you need to sit down.” Scully gestures toward the waiting room.

“I'm fine. It’s…”. He swallows, his eyes darting aimlessly around the room. “A friend of mine. My partner, my former partner…”.

Scully nods, assuming this has something to do with a girlfriend or an ex, determined to look unfazed by whatever he might reveal. “Do you need me to find out if she’s okay?” Scully offers hesitantly.

“No, it’s not,” Mulder stutters, “she’s not, I mean, he’s not… He was my partner at the FBI. Several years ago. He was in an accident in an elevator today. They told me they rushed him here.”

Scully reddens just a little, embarrassed at the tiny flare of jealousy that had sparked inside her gut, and even more embarrassed to have been feeling that amidst what is obviously a difficult and tragic situation.

“I’ll see what I can do.” She angles her head toward the waiting room. “Why don’t you go sit down? What’s his name?”

“Jerry Lamana,” Mulder answers, reluctantly stumbling back down the hall.

It doesn’t take more than a couple minutes for her to find the intake records. DOA. Dead on arrival.

She’s going to have to tell Mulder that his friend is dead. They have chaplains and comfortable bereavement rooms for this kind of thing, but it seems wrong that anybody else give him the news. She smooths a hand over her hair and takes a swig of stale, lukewarm coffee from her old stained mug.

At the door of the waiting room, she meets his worried gaze and her own eyes widen. She opens her mouth to ask him to step into a private room, but closes it again when she sees that he already knows what she’s about to say. He’s read her expression effortlessly. She sees his hazel eyes fill up with tears as he stands up to go. She wants to get him out of this public space. She wants to pull him by the arm into a room where he can cry.

Instead, Mulder gives her a long look as a single tear spills over down his cheek. He nods and mouths, “thank you,” before he turns and goes.

She sees death so regularly, it feels like a blow to the stomach to remember that every death she sees as part of her day in day out business is someone's friend, someone’s partner, somebody’s lover or parent or child. It’s a difficult but essential thing to remember, or she risks becoming cold. A few tears brim in her own eyes as she realizes just how detached she has started to become. And then she feels terrible for the fact she’s also wondering if he’d called her back this week. It’s not the kind of petty thing she should be wondering about when somebody just died. But she’s wondering it anyway, and whether she’ll ever see him again.

1. Outside of the obvious of Klaroline, if you could change one thing about the TVD storyline what would it be?

Right, where to start? Hmm.. first of all I would bring all the Originals back from a vacation where they brought Kol back to life. Defan death and it turns out that Kai linked Elena’s sleeping curse to Damon not Bonnie. Bonnie leaves to focus on herself finally and finds a coven to work with and help support her magic and learn more. The girls stay in contact with each other but go there separate ways. Elena now hum goes to find Jeremy and they live happily together as humans. Caroline grieves her best friend, Stefan's, death and leaves to travel. Meets up with the Originals and fun happens... Can I have Klaroline now? ;)

2. Favorite Disney Character and why?

My favourite is Merida from Brave. I love the whole film because Billy Connolly but Its refreshing to see a princess not wanting to to have the whole arranged marriage and become a princess in her own right. Choosing her own fate  with her bow! 

3. If you could be any mythological creature, what would you be?

I would be a phoenix maybe or a valkyrie.

4. Does the word “moist” bother you?

No, should it? lol

5. You’re traveling through outer-space and need a crew, which characters would be aboard your ship, Star Trek or Star Wars?

I don't know anything about Star Wars and I've seen one film of Star Trek, and Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto who are both amazing so i would choose them! and oo I could meet Simon Pegg too xD ahaha 

6. Did you make a New Year’s Resolution and if so, what is it and do you think you will accomplish it?

Its not much of a new years resolution more of  change of view. Im going to chose what effects me and in what way. Try to limit the added negativity in my life and focus on being happy and more productive. I hope I can achieve it for a long term but as I’m a pessimistic to my core, so I doubt it.

7. If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?

Norway. Tromsø in specific but Norway in general :)

8. Do you know your zodiac and element signs? If so, do you feel they are an accurate representation/fit of you?

9. If you could be a tree, which type of tree would you be?

Ashley (Ashleigh) from an English surname which was originally derived from place names meaning "ash tree clearing", from a combination of Old English æsc and leah. Until the 1960s it was more commonly given to boys in the United States, but it is now most often used on girls. So Im already a type of tree anyway, but I do however love cherry blossom trees, weeping willows and Japanese red maple/acer trees.

10. Do you believe in the supernatural/paranormal in real life?

Like ghosts? aliens? I don't believe in it 100% until I've actually seen it, but I am open to the ideas that there must be something out there.

11. This last question is more for yourself and your inner thoughts. No ‘knee jerk” answer. Really think about it. Is there anything that you do/deal with/think about that in your life that you wish you didn’t? And what could you do to change it?

I suffer from depression and anxiety, so my inner thoughts, you don't want to go there. But dealing with this with two toddlers is hard and when my old friends stopped bothering with my because I became pregnant and then I moved further up the valley away from my family for affordable housing it has left me isolated and lonely. Fandom has helped me a lot, more than I want too admit, because I lost so much of ‘me’ and having the fandom to read/write/talk to others is ‘mine’ its some part of me that I'm trying to explore and gain back. Its more the case of I know how to get myself out of the ditch but I cant find the courage and motivation to get there just yet.
