Earlier I was thinking about Alkaloid in the DR AU like how Hiiro can easily be the "ace under the sleeve" of his company(fitting the spade), Aira as heart is self explanatory while Tatsumi is considered to "diamond in the rough" to fit...dunno about Mayoi tho ;;;;

Mayoi could probably be the lucky clover! (Also possibly Ult. Lucky Student Mayoi for the au tee hee)

Maybe he feels bad about having such great luck (maybe a luck similar to Nagito?), so he tries to spoil everyone around him with it. They wanna play that arcade game? Boom! They got the prize they wanted first try! Its sort of astonishing how lucky he is. When he applies because a friend asked him too, he gets nervous and starts rambling on about how he’ll feel like a devil in a school of angels / how a terrible person like him shouldn’t be in such an amazing school, but still applies nonetheless. And now he’s in a killing game!

i think one of the reasons Tatsumi could be interested in Mayoi is because early Christian art (and honestly Christianity in general) is tied to decoding and finding secret meanings in cryptic symbols- the fish, Jonah as a stand in for Jesus, the anchor, rotas slabs, etc. i think an intrest in things like that could lead to him being drawn to people who are strange and closed off, because he can only truly see their full beauty and meaning once their “deciphered”

yeah to an extent, depends on the branch of christianity. tatsumi is also a naturally curious person that likes to keep weird company so hed probably still be drawn to mayoi regardless of religion. also tatsumi has a savior complex that gets stronger the more he cares about someone so he feels like its his responsibility as mayois friend and as a priest to.... fix... him ..? save him? cure him? idk smth like that you get the point, he feels responsible for his friends well being and thats particularly noticeable with mayoi because mayoi is more immediately troubled than his other friends and also has that whole "devils disciple" thing going on so he extra appeals to tatsumis sense of responsibility that comes with his role as a priest (its a priests job to guide people away from the devil etc etc)

🎮 This is it, the moment Levi has been waiting for. The destined event when the main character gets to experience karaoke and blow everyone away with his voice Levi is hyping himself with the mentality that it’s his main character moment to experience the trope he’s seen in so many anime before. His moment to shine and prove everyone’s misconceptions of him wrong. 

🎮 He reads through the selection of songs it is painfully limited to the kinds of stuff he wants to sing. He recognizes a song and his heart soars, his eyes light up and his nervous hands shake a little less. It’s an anime opening, not just any anime- an anime that {Name} had introduced him to called Devils and Realist, he found it soooo relatable. The opening was catchy and he could vibe to it. Hell, he’s even sang it with {Name}. 

🎮 The instrumental opens and PERFECTLY on time, Levi starts singing changing his pitch as he sings in place of the multiple singers in the song. He hits the notes so perfectly that it feels like a competition when he’s throwing out his skills for this song and showing off his range a little. It’s not so surprising to his brothers who already heard him singing other openings in the shower daily.

i actually have covid this time which means it's time for me to post on here.

i ummm am bad at keeping up with writing fics, but (hanamonogatari spoilers)

thought of an AU where rouka didn't kill herself, but still saved hanadori and got a hold of her devil's leg. she enrolls at naoetsu. instead of koyomi, she's the one to catch hitagi when she falls down those stairs and convinces her to listen to her by showing her the devil's left leg under her leg brace. both of their personalities clash: rouka resents hitagi as the track field athlete she heard about, who wasn't afraid to go all out on the field (the opposite of rouka) and for whom her rival only had eyes for. but she notices the emptiness inside hitagi, and the thing about her pushing all of her sorrow and worries onto something else and apologizing to the crab really resonates with rouka, since it's what she does as the devil parts collector. she tells the devil victims she'll take all their troubles away.

rouka probably has connections with kaiki in this still, unbeknownst to hitagi. it's how she finds a way to help hitagi.

in mayoi maimai, hitagi says she would've fallen for anyone who would've saved her and honestly out of the entire cast, rouka to me is on par with koyomi in terms of self-flagellation and selflessness (literally gives away her soul to the devil to help people). i don't know that they would get together, but suruga would notice either way. lesbian love triangle with devil parts ensues...
