Update:

Hey, it's been awhile since I updated y'all!

There was one ask I got a blue moon ago about Magic Between the Moon & Sky, and I will sadly report that I do not see myself updating that series for the foreseeable future. I didn't want to be one of those authors who make a 100 oneshot series then stop, but I am just not a fan of TDP at the moment so it's hard to really find the passion to write for a fandom I'm not in anymore.

I also know a good many of you are wondering about Loyalty & Light but I can confidently say that there is nothing solid yet. Another batch of twenty chapters is a lot for me and it will take a long while for it to get up and kicking. But I am still working at it. Don't be afraid to keep asking about it or to send asks! The comments I've been getting are a great inspiration!

Meanwhile, for The Most Undoing Thing, the final two chaps are coming! Regardless of season 2, this does not change the development of the fic at all. TMUT was always set in a post-season 1 only AU formula. I hoped to finish it before season 2, but alas, I did not. That said, I am immensely appreciative of the surge of love and attention toward TMUT. I guess a lot of people are aching for some Mama Jinx after Isha, huh? ( >ヮ<).

So when's TMUT coming out? Well here's a rundown:

Arcane/Legends of Runeterra, Mama Jinx AU, multi-chapter story (Title: "The Most Undoing Thing"). Chapter 19 sometime January.

The Owl House, Lealtad Noceda big sister/beta sister AU, multi-chapter story (Title: "Loyalty & Light"). Season 2, chap 21-41 in development!

The Owl House & The Ghost and Molly McGee crossover, crossover AU, multi-chapter story (Title: "The Light and Molly McGee"). Still in development!

Halloween fics: yeah I got delayed, so I'm gonna aim for 2025 Halloween now hopefully...

Once again, all is subject to change of course. Between uni, my newfound interest with D&D, and personal matters, it's hard to find time to write. But I still wanna write! I love writing fics and I miss posting 'em. Fall sem is done and I am hyped to write. As always, if you're interested in these fics, I have a few asks or posts about them that you can find via tags!

In other news, I will officially state that I am now ceasing use of FFN or Fanfiction.Net. This doesn't mean I'll delete my account and all stories up there, but for the future, I will not crosspost anymore fanfics on FFN. With all the issues it's had over the years, and a new wave of scam mail, I'm just tired of it. I'm sad too, because I'm aware of the recent traction I've been getting on there as well, but I'm afraid I'm just too tired of it.

So, I'm only using Ao3 from here on out. Sorry to all you FFN users, but I hope you can find the leniency to at least follow my stories on Ao3!

♡ Term Coining: gbtg ♡

Gbtg, or Gender-back-to-Gender, is an acronym self-descriptor system.

Female-back-to-Female { fbtf }

Male-back-to-Male { mbtm }

Gbtg describes the experience of someone going through a gender transition/exploration, { social or medical }, but realizing they are more comfortable with the gender they were assigned at birth. Though the individual is not trans and does not claim the trans experience, they feel that the journey of their gender, even if it lead them to the same place they started, is important to their identity and who they came to be at the end of it.

This term may especially be used by intersex individuals who experimented with presenting as the opposite gender than what they were documented as but their assigned gender ended up being their chosen gender as well ♡

Hello, I recently read your Magic Between the Moon & Sky series, and I really like the college AU series. It's really wonderful. I want to know if there will be an opportunity to update in the future. If you don't mind, I would like to know why you Not a fan of TDP anymoreFinally, I wish you well. The novels you wrote really bring me great joy.

Ahh, it means a lot to know that you enjoyed my work! I really enjoyed writing Rayllum immensely and I loved to see that a lot of people liked it as much as I did (if not more, apparently 😅). The reason for why I dropped off TDP is kinda... strange to explain. My second oldest sister and I were big fans of the show, and as you can obviously tell from my blog, I was excited about it for a time!

But when Season 4 of The Dragon Prince was announced I was really excited about it! But at the time, my sister and I had others shows we were watching. I was also busy writing for The Most Undoing Thing at the time and didn't want to be too sidetracked with other fandoms. And then, as time went on, it kinda got away from us but we were shocked to hear that Season 5 was announced later in 2023 summer.

Now I know Season 2 and 3 had a similar time gap, for us, we were kinda worried about hearing such an immediate follow up when it felt like Season 4 just came out. Apprehensively, I looked at some reviews and such. I won't say that I haven't been influenced by what I heard, but I also know that there was good reviews and legitimate excitement too! I already read a small amount of the comic materials and books that came out in the break between Season 3 and 4, so I knew a lot of the changes to come.

And the time skip.

So, seeing a bit of a divide, my sister and I slowly just thought, "Well, we'll get around to it." But evidently, it just became something we kind of lost interest in. Season 3 was good, but there were some pacing things we weren't a fan of. For me, I enjoyed the heart of the story and the characters throughout. In the end, I was also aware of the rushed aspects of the narrative too at times.

All in all, I started to have less attachment to really wanting to watch or enjoy the media I was into, and just started focusing on MBTMS itself. Because I still liked Rayllum, and people still liked what I wrote. Though, it became an issue for me, because now I was essentially writing for a fandom I was losing interest in, which meant motivation was hard to muster.

I just felt like I was obligating myself to writing something I wasn't invested in, which made me worry that it would reflect in my writing. And the last thing I wanted, was to write something and put it out when I wasn't even happy with it. With that aside, time just kept moving on and suddenly there's 6 Seasons of this series, and I felt like it was just a lot.

The pacing of TDP has always been... strange. I understand that it's been separated into sagas as well. For MBTMS, I genuinely do wish to finish it someday. But the issue with most of MBTMS, is that it's largely set in an AU stories. And AU or not, I do my best to emulate the canon characters in their personalities and behaviours. So it's hard to do that when you haven't looked at canon material for so long nor if you're just not all too keen on getting back into it.

TL;DR: After putting it off for awhile, it got away from me and my interest slowly waned based on the overall pacing and output of the show. From the reviews and responses, I just felt less inclined to get back into it which affected my motivation to writing for MBTMS. I don't think I'll return to MBTMS, but I wish to someday.

Thanks for the ask, Anon. Sorry to disappoint, but I'm glad and pleased to know you enjoyed my stories for the time you shared with them.

Moments Between the Madness - Chapter 8 ("A Little Thing Like Danger")

“I'm a killer, Peter,” Sylar said softly, “it's all I am.” Watching him, Peter swept his drying hair behind his ear where most of it refused to stay put. “I used to think that. Now I'm not so sure.” Sylar struggled to hide how deafened he was by the lack of alarm bells in his skull ringing 'lie'.

The closer he gets to finally finding his father, the more Sylar can't help but wish he could take even longer to get there...

I know I promised this chapter a while ago, and here it is, the longest one so far to thank you for your patience between updates! X) I look forward to sharing these events of the story with you and hope you think it was worth the wait!

GOD where the fuck do i even begin,,,??

like okay let me try beginning at her appearance. like her curves are IMMACULATE right??? she's got 'em right where she wants 'em, an' even though she's sculpted a little too similarly to human anatomy she just Rocks It SO WELL like GOD FUCKING DAMN DUDE-- i just. go speechless every time i see her. THINK about her. her frame might as well be non-euclidean, mang. and then there's the way she FEELS. OH. MY GOD it's the perfect blend of soft and firm it's like i'm holding onto a dream. do -- do you get me? she's a full course meal complete with dessert and seconds and thirds and- GRAHH HER ABS TOO!! i could grind my face across them for HOURRS, they're just. so fun to look at. i could stare at her all day long. but also. also. she makes for an amazing mattress. built in pillows (hehe), her frame temp's the perfect alternative to a self-heating mattress, she's even open to hugging me down and keeping me from rolling off of her like… oh my god i love my wife. she's a murderer but her ass is so phat,,, ghehe

. okay. okay she's really fucking pretty. but also she's fucked up in a really enticing sort of way. you know how she's usually seen being a freaky lil' character? running around, killing people with reckless abandon? yeah. yeah i married that and i do not regret it. sure, the nightmares of her killing me still occur occasionally but it's fine. i've healed a lot from that night thanks to patchwork, and now i'm getting off track. back ON track; she's a massive teddy bear. she'll accept cuddles from me, munchie, bunkbed and grumbles without much fuss, and the way she smiles when she holds someone she likes is… just. really nice to look at, much like the rest of her body. an. y. yknow how i'm a cannibal? it's a rare topic so you probably don't (fair) but she doesn't really mind. she even offered to help me collect ingredients for something i wanted to check out. since i know some of y'all are squeamish about that i will not elaborate but basically. murderer in the streets, teddy bear in the sheets. speaking of the sheets, she's even put aside her SA traumas to let me fuck her. another rare topic. but. man i love my fucking wife why is shes o cool

AND THEN. HER WEAPONS ARE SICK. okay so to start off here it's really simple because she only has a few: her primary weapons are these two path blasters - which, to go on a little side tangent, i'm specifically referring to the Path Blaster(s) from Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. SPECIFICALLY those ones. - that's been upgraded to Heavy weapons just for her. plus, since her vehicle mode's a really big missile truck, she likes having her missile backpack and twin arm mounted missile launchers (WHICH SHE CAN ROCKETJUMP WITH THAT'S NOT JUST A NAME) on her. said twin arm-mounts can also transform in their own right to deploy a pair of sick-ass stylized double-edged swords. which. wowie. + patchwork, recently, has given her access to an X18 Scrapmaker blueprint - also from Fall of Cybertron - so she can dual wield those now, too. and of course she always has her hands on her just in case she wants to get personal. thankfully, i've gotten to see her beat someone to death with her bare hands before. it was awesome as fuck :]

Magic Between the Moon & Sky: Rayllum Oneshot Series - A 5 Year Anniversary

Today marks the five year anniversary of MBTMS’ release. (Technically it’s tomorrow for Ao3, but FFN I posted there first). A oneshot collection that is yet to be finished, I know, but one that I treasure deeply. I may have fallen out of my love for TDP in certain elements, but the writing and what I started with in regards to Rayllum was something else.

I don’t mean to be all, “I was there when it was written” but I joined this fandom in its season one days, when it was REAL small here on Tumblr. Which meant smaller ship circles too. I’m glad to have witnessed the fandom blossom and grow, and by that extension, Rayllum itself too.

I know many of my readers probably assume I won’t be returning to MBTMS, but you’re kinda wrong. I swear I’m not one of those 100 oneshot fics that stop halfway (no fault to them of course, sometimes passion runs out)! I legitimately have more than a dozen oneshots planned out. But, I’m also biding my time. I’ve learned with fic writing, that writing what I love is just as crucial as being passionate about it. I'm not currently into TDP but I still enjoy the oneshot concepts i thought up for my fics, so I'll probably only work from those.

I mean, I can probably just grind out the last oneshots and meet the 100 quota, but they wouldn’t be good. Or maybe, they would be to some of you, but they wouldn’t be something I could be proud of. Least of all, I wouldn’t have fun writing it. So yeah, I do believe I know my limits and the extent of my creativity.

But the main reason at the end of the day, as to why I won’t drop this fic, is because it has quite literally spawned some of my best writing. “Loyalty & Light”, “The Most Undoing Thing”, my Taang oneshots, “Legends of Avatar: The Untold Story”, they’ve all had great prose that I’m proud of. Some not so much, but that’s growth.

“Magic Between the Moon & Sky” houses many different styles and concepts I could never explore with most of my fandoms. I’ve written a modern college AU grounded in the slowest of burns, I’ve written childhood AUs diving into the naivety and hilariousness of a kid's mind, and I’ve written an emotionally powerful (as readers have said) Soulmate AU even though I don’t like Soulmate AUs. And I have many more mind, but I’ve also managed to explore the canon and interpret my own ideas from before we learned anything of the lore.

Some were at the requests of fans, others were because I wanted to try and get my feet wet. Much like Callum and Rayla themselves, this fic was a great avenue for me to explore my abilities as a writer and try new things. And in the end, I’m proud of that. And I cannot wait to see what I do next.

Thank you all, for an amazing five years of patience and love. Again, no idea when I'll return to this fic but I'll get around to it.
