A wee psa: I know I’m very low activity here, but that doesn’t mean I like being treated as a meme resource. I’m not asking for reblog karma (unless we’re muturals, in that case, it would be nice and I’d be down), just to reblog from the source pls.

OOC post:
I'd like to talk about something that's been eating me.
The second set of posters included a design entitled "Seeing the Patterns", depicting a figure standing in front of a "pins and string" conspiracy board, figuring out some sort of quandary. The text on it read "Seeing the patterns? The synchronicity department needs you!"
This was intended as something I was going to talk about - the concept of "synchronicity" in the Office canon. My intent for the story was that the Office had perfected the concept of synchronicity into a reliable science, examining hidden causal links between unrelated events, such as the price of string or the winner of horse races. This would have taken the form of the stereotypical "pins and string" conspiracy board, elevating that trope into a science in the canon. The Office's synchronicity department would have been able to determine hidden meanings or even predict the future using these methods.
It was pointed out to me that while this was not my intent, it has some similarities to the right-wing antisemitic meme of "noticing things", as well as possibly casting those with mental health crises like schizophrenia in a bad or stereotypical light. Neither of these were my intent, obviously, but when you play in this sort of thematic space (conspiracy theory, etc.), you do have to be careful of which tropes you use. This has, to be honest, been a source of significant anxiety for me for the past two weeks. I really like the idea of it as I had envisioned it, but right now the implications it gives are too much for me to really be comfortable with.
It's because of this that I'm withdrawing the design from my shop, for now. I may re-release it later if I can develop the idea more to my satisfaction, but for the forseeable future that design will be unavailable for purchase. I may fill its space with something else later, I have several drafts that just weren't developed, but for now I'm going to let it settle.
I've edited the second set post without that design. I know I just reblogged it yesterday or the day before, but if you're willing, I'd appreciate another reblog without that design. Hopefully that version of the post will be the dominant one.
Thanks for understanding, folks. I'll probably be quiet for a few days - like I said, this is a hard choice but a needed one, and it's been a source of anxiety for me.

Source 1 - P2025 website
Source 2 - Report from MotherJones
thank you very much for the news.
[Image ID: Depicted is the Destiel meme where Castiel tells Dean that he loves him. Dean's answer was edited to read '50 conservative think tanks in the US using dark money are pushing to completely control the government, turn the whole country into an even worse Christian theocracy, and completely erase all LGBTQ+ people from existence. It's called Project 2025' /.End ID]
Also a further note: This groups plan seems to rely heavily on a Republican win in the presidential election 2024 after which the whole U. S. federal government is supposed to be placed under direct presidential (Trump in this case) control. I don't know how feasible such a plan is even if the Republicans won, but let this serve as a reminder to
FUCKING VOTE!
[PT: fucking vote! /end PT]
Republicans rely on people who would rather vote Democrat than Republican not voting 'cause they don't see any sense in it anymore/also don't want to support Democrats 'cause "even though they are the lesser evil they're not good"! By not voting you just play into their hands. This Project 2025 is nothing than a direct attack on democracy and if you still want to have a vote that counts in the future please vote. An example of what they want to do is to bring the FEC (Federal Election Commission) which enforces the campaign finance law under their control by only instating Republican commissioners (right now there are just as much Republicans as Democrats).
Please, please get as many people to vote as possible. Tell your family and friends about this. Reblog posts about how voting helps and what Republicans have planned even if you may not be able to vote in America yourself share those things for your American followers.

more voice ask memes because i want to do them
give a hot take about your f/o or ship.
give a hot take about your f/o's source.
favorite & least favorite au for your ship?
if you have more than one f/o, do you notice similarities between them? differences?
if you had to pick another character from their source, who would it be?
did you like your f/o immediately or did feelings take time to develop?
talk about a character who your feelings have changed for over time. could be an old f/o you dropped or gained, a character you used to like but don't now, etc.
have you ever been in denial about your feelings for an f/o?
what's the shortest amount of time it's taken you to f/o a character? longest?
if your f/o was real, would you still like them?
do you express your feelings for an f/o in real life? if so, how? (ie: merch, talking about them, etc.)
do you have any friends that also selfship from your f/o's source?
give a headcanon about your f/o or ship.
if you had to change one thing about your f/o, what would it be?
name a song or lyric that reminds you of your f/o or ship, and why.
wildcard, just ramble about your ship!
pr*ship/c*mship dni as usual, and please practice reblog karma if possible 💥

Can They Do A…
Tumblr media
…Out of Nowhere!
One of the most memed wrestling moves today. Just as you thought Randy Orton was out, all of a sudden, he gets his arm wrapped around your neck and takes you down for a 3-count!
But now the question is…who else could possibly perform a RKO? That’s for the poll (and all of Tumblr) to decide!
Inspired by:
@can-they-lift-thors-hammer, @cantheysurvive2001aspaceodyssey
Now, for some base rules:
1) OC and AU characters are allowed. Just specify the source of the OCs/AU characters, as well as information that can help people make their decision. For my part, I’ll make sure to put a disclaimer that the submission is separate from canon.
2) Submit a character through the askbox. (NOTE: My only restriction is that I don’t want to use real life people. Fictional characters only. I will say though that fictionalized versions of real people are okay)
3) Polls will last a week. By the end of it, we’ll know whether or not the character can perform a RKO.
4) Submission must include:
* Character name
* Where they’re from
* If it’s an OC/AU character, include any additional links that will help me and others understand the character
5) Optional: Submission can include the image you want me to use. Otherwise, it’s whatever image I find online.
6) If you want, reblog the poll if you want to share your take on the character and whether they can/can’t do a RKO. I’ll possibly reblog back, especially if it might help people in making their choice.
7) Tag to track the progress of each poll: RKO auditions
8) To keep track of the characters that have already been submitted, I made a Google spreadsheet! Please see below.

have you ever considered, idk, actually reblogging the ace memes instead of screenshotting and reposting them?
this is the reblog site. maybe you shoukd reblog stuff.
Dear anon,
Thank you for expressing your criticism.
Firstly, I want to assure you that I do not screenshot and repost content from other Tumblr users. If you take the time to scroll through my blog, you will notice that I have linked the source of every meme I post below the respective picture. These are sources from outside of Tumblr (mainly Reddit, Pinterest, Facebook, aspec community websites or meme websites).
I understand that Tumblr is also a "reblog site", and I do reblog posts on Tumblr when I find ones that fit the theme of this blog, rather than screenshotting and reposting them. If another Tumblr blog has already posted the same or a similar meme, I'm sorry that you had to see it twice, but you can be sure that by the time I decide to post memes from external websites here, I have not encountered any of them on Tumblr (because Tumblr obviously has quite a lot of posts and I can't possibly know them all).
I hope this alleviates your concerns. If you still feel bothered, don't hesitate to block this blog :) . As long as there are still other people here on Tumblr who enjoy this blog, I will not discontinue it though.
Thank you and have a nice day.

I want to start adding text descriptions to stuff i reblog, do you have any advice? is there a guide or something you use, the style of your IDs is very nice.
hey! thats great that you want to start writing IDs. I've reblogged guides before and ill tag this post with the tag they're in (image descriptions) so its easy to browse!
in addition to those other resources, here's some guidelines i personally keep in mind, & what i structure different IDs like.
for text transcripts: source & type of image, author, date if possible. here are some pretend/template IDs:
ID. a twitter screenshot from user @.[username] dated [date] that reads: "[tweet]." End ID.
i put the period after the @ symbol so it doesnt try to tag a nonexistent (or unrelated) user on this site, and a screenreader will just pause there briefly.
ID. a photo of a page from the book [name] by [author]. text reads: [transcript]. End ID.
if the OP cited the author/book/source, you can just do "Transcript: [text]. End transcript."
for actual images:
type of image is really important!
photograph, edited photograph, reaction image, edited reaction image, painting, digital painting, digital drawing, etc. you should always put what kind of image it is.
keep in mind the purpose of the image!
if its an art piece or a photo of one, its good to describe the medium, style, colors, and subject.
if it's a reaction image or other meme, you don't have to describe the surroundings in loving detail. the "point" of the image is enough.
if its a photograph, it might also be an art piece, or from the news, or someone sharing their pet. the amount and kind of detail again depends on the point of the image.
don't make judgements or assumptions!
dont describe things as badly drawn or badly photographed- and on the flip side, dont describe things as cute or beautiful. describe whats in the image, not how it makes you feel. if you love a certain part of how a photograph is framed, or how the light is painted in a piece of art, say that specifically. "beautiful" means nothing! do you mean realistic? vibrantly colored? "cute" means nothing! do you mean in a cartoony style? or that the subject matter is a cat, which many people find cute? be specific!
dont make statements about the gender or race of the people in the photo or art piece, especially if it's real people (like a news photo) unless you know those things as a fact (celebrities, fictional characters, people you know personally, people where it is mentioned in the article the photo is from). you can just describe things like hair length, skin tone, etc. exceptions to this rule imo are stock photos- eg if im captioning my favorite stock photo of all time, cyber woman with corn, i am going to describe it as "a stock photo of a white woman in a futuristic silver and black wraparound visor, wearing a silver bodysuit and cradling an ear of corn near her face and smiling slightly."
here are some example descriptions, all from images i have on my phone.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo of two cats laying head to head on someones outstretched legs, which are under a blanket. one cat is an orange tabby, and the other is a gray and white splotched tabby. End ID.
the point of this image is my cats- im not going to spend time describing the blanket, the couch, the stuff you can see in the background, bc it's not relevant to the image, and adds nothing.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo taken through a rainy window at twilight, with the camera focused on the raindrops on the glass, so the lights in the houses across the street are out of focus. the lights reflect on the wet pavement in a warm yellow glow. End ID.
i took this the other night bc i thought it looked cool how blurry it was- id consider this more of an "art" photo, so im describing the aspects of the framing etc that make it that- i wasnt just trying to show how rainy it was, but to take a photo in an interesting way, so those traits are "worth" describing.
Tumblr media
ID. a photo of an acrylic painting done on a cardboard packing envelope of a city street at sunset, all the building windows reflecting gold. there are purple fluffy clouds in the sky, lit from below with peach and gold. the USPS tracking number barcode is still visible in the gap between houses at the end of the street. the brush strokes are very visible, the perspective is wonky, and the orange underpainting is visible at the edges. End ID.
this is a new ID for something i painted and already posted and i dont feel like getting the old ID. medium, style, and specific details i think are important are included. the perspective being wonky is a bit of a value judgement i wouldn't make about Other people's art, but it's my own and i think its an important detail so!
Tumblr media
ID. an edited catcrumb comic, showing a simple mspaint illustration of a cat happily sorting things into piles with the caption, "sort sort. i love to arbitrarily sort." the cat has been colored in gray and its ears have been colored like homestuck troll horns, and the sorting piles replaced with some classpect symbols. End ID.
this is a good example of a edited image- its important to give (to some degree) a sense of what the original image was, say that its edited, and describe the changes. i dont need to list the classpect symbols i put on there, bc its not relevant to the message of the image- it would do nothing but make the ID longer.
oh- and to cap off the post- here is cyber woman with corn:
Tumblr media
ID. a stock photo of a white woman in a futuristic silver and black wraparound visor, wearing a silver bodysuit and cradling an ear of corn near her face and smiling slightly. End ID.

[cw discussion of animal illness/medical crises; emotional manipulation; talking about scams and scammers]
Jsyk: I do not and will not boost or reblog fundraising posts on request or when they’re directly linked to me by people who I don’t know, often people who don’t even follow me. Mutual aid posts are a big part of the social media ecosystem especially on tumblr but there are also plenty of scams that exploit genuine sources of affinity within marginalized communities (disabled people, trans people, people with precarious housing situations, etc) in an incredibly cynical manner.
I just received a request like this from a blog that was
all of two days old
filled with an apparently random selection of fandom posts and memes, all reblogged without any kind of tags or commentary, even a fandom name
...with no other kind of original posts whatsoever, not even shitposts or personal posts, nothing
not following me or anyone else I know
using an icon meant to evoke all kinds of immediate emotional reactions of affinity and sympathy — sweet-looking blue-haired smol bean picrew in front of the trans flag
The request itself could have been perfectly genuine — request for financial help with vet bills for a sick cat, "please help, save his life, I need to raise money in 2 weeks for surgery" — but it's surrounded by a thicket of screaming red flags.
Tumblr media
(Payments made using PayPal’s “friends & family” functionality aren't covered by purchase protection and cannot be reimbursed, even if the payment was made under false pretenses. Cool.)
This shit is incredibly shady and incredibly manipulative. Lots of stuff to evoke strong emotions and sympathy; repeated calls to action and a super short timetable to save a poor cat’s life — all of this stuff is plausible by itself but these elements of the request are not incidental. The request itself is calculated to provoke a sense of intense urgency -- worry for the poor cat, sympathy for the owner -- and a sense of shame if you catch yourself hesitating to donate or spread the word. (What kind of heartless person doesn't want to help a cat? Wants to let a cat die? Wants to kill a cat? What kind of bad leftist ignores a poor trans person's cry for help? I'm a trans person and a cat lover, and when my cat was in the hospital I was inconsolable.) By itself, urgency isn’t a red flag -- emergencies have a way of emerging suddenly, pets get sick, shit costs money -- but combined with everything else about this post it absolutely is one. In the comments on the post it only took one person saying “hey, watch out, this post has some red flags for a scam so I’d hesitate before reblogging it” for comments to be turned off entirely.
Do I know for a die-hard certainty that this post was fraudulent and the OP was running a scam? I absolutely do not, and I'm not interested in teaching anyone how to scam better either. But if you *do* have a genuine fundraising post for any cause, even an urgent one: don't do it from a nearly-blank blog and don’t message random strangers about it, even if you think it’ll get your post more traction. You have no way of knowing their financial situation or if they're in any kind of position to donate, or whether they themselves are in tough financial straits.
I'm not anti-fundraising or anti-mutual-aid -- people on this site helped me pay for top surgery without going into crazy medical debt, that would not have been possible without the goodwill and generosity of other marginalized people -- but I've also ignorantly passed on scam messaging and been tricked out of money I seriously needed, not just by strangers either. The vast majority of scams function through high-pressure tactics and emotional manipulation. This shit is 101-level social engineering and you're going to encounter it all over the place in life, not just on social media. Learn about social engineering, keep your eyes peeled for potential dishonesty, and don't fall for it or spread this kind of messaging around to victimize someone else.

CHYYY!!! There’s so much to love about your ships!!!
Your sonas and their backstories are always so detailed, and their designs are just BURSTING with character!! And the dynamics and the stories you come up with? Absolute chef’s kiss, my friend! ❤️ The way the ships come together— from you mentioning a possible new F/O to the actual story of them getting/being together— is something I never get tired of.
Seeing your ships when they pop up on my dash, regardless of how familiar I am with the source material, is like… seeing the first spring flowers poking through on the sidewalk after the last frost of winter. They’re always such a surprise, and brighten my day. :3c
SAV YOURE GONNA MAKE ME CRY!!! THE PART ABOUT HOW YOU COMPARED TO SEEING MY SHIPS LIKE SPRING FLOWERS AFTER WINTER GOT ME EMOTIONAL!!!
I’m just so happy that my stuff brightens your day and that you never get tired of seeing when I get new f/os or how their stories develops! It really means a lot!
Also using this as an excuse to gush about your ships since you didn’t reblog the ask meme >:3c
Your art style is so darn expressive!! And it really shows when you draw your ships being either playful or lovey dovey! Your sonas are always super cute and very unique design wise! I always enjoy seeing you share your work and seeing what new designs you come up with!

Hai darlings! Welcome to Tomobiki central! This is a blog which archives anything and everything Urusei Yatsura, both old stuff and new!! This blog was made specifically so fans can avoid spam posts and make it easier to find the best Urusei Yatsura content on Tumblr.
What will be reblogged here?
Everything! as long as it's not low effort, that is.
What counts as low effort?
Posts like screenshots with no text added (unless it's a screenshot which is a meme within itself), or non oc fanart with no source added, official art with no description as to what it is, low quality textposts etc. Also, your post should clearly be recognizable as something from Urusei Yatsura, and not look like something from another anime (as it should have something like characters or some kind if sign that it is from UY). Posts with only links won't be reblogged as well, unless it's a link to a fanfic (but make sure to mention that!). Posts which send unnecessary hate about the series (or anything really) will not be reblogged either since it may create discourse, however meaningful criticism is allowed.
Why was my post not reblogged even though I followed the above criteria?
That would be possibly because I've either missed it or it didn't show up in the tags. You can message or send an ask to inform me.
What about NSFW posts?
NSFW will be reblogged only if it's with the series' own restrictions (that is, the most which can be shown would be nude breasts, though over-fetishism of that won't be reblogged either). Anything over these restrictions, censored or not will not be reblogged. If you don't want to see the NSFW posts, you can simply filter out the tag 'nsfw'.
Why should I follow this blog?
Of course, whether you follow or not is up to you! But following this blog is going to be very helpful to those who create UY content since it allows their posts to get noticed and appreciated more: the more followers this blog has, the more notes they will get. And not to mention, you'll get more UY to enjoy!
How do I find a specific type of content on this blog (for example, only remake related or only fanart)?
The tags will help with those! Posts will be divided in two different ways: a) according to what type of media they are from (manga, original {anime}, remake or even the video games!! However if there is no sign of which media it is from it will be tagged as 'unspecified'.) and b) based in what type of content it is (fanart, official, edit, gif, video, etc.). You can search with the help of these tags and find what you're looking for!
That's all I can think for FAQs, if there's anything else, I'll edit and add to this post.
This blog is still new so it will take time to fill it up with a lot of UY. Please reblog this post so more UY fans will be able to know about this blog. If you have any queries, feel free to contact me here or on my main (@yumedoca ). Have a cosmically great day ahead!! 🌟

Rules
Tumblr media
Mun is 40+ and will not interact with minors. If it’s not clear in your rules how old you are or if I even suspect you are under aged, I will block you.
I'm only interacting with mutuals.
Please reblog and like from the source. It’s okay to like my own RP threads just don’t reblog them if you are not a part of them. If you do this, I will have to block you as I assume you haven't bothered to read my rules. I am not a meme farm/art farm for you. However, if I tag you in art or anything you can like and reblog from me as that's my invitation to share with you.
I try my best to remember people's rules but please keep in mind I am human and can forget certain things, especially if it's specific. Please feel free to remind me or if you really need to unfollow be my guest. We all need our safe spaces.
I try my best to answer threads as fairly as possible. I don't really believe in exclusive or mains, but it can depend on how inspired me muse is. If something isn't working, I will reach out to see how we can work it out. I expect the same from you. I also can space out and forget threads, PLEASE I encourage you to remind me!
If we are following each other and I am attempting to RP with you a few times, and you keep dropping or ignoring it, I’m going to assume you don’t have interest and I will soft block you. There’s no point in following each other if you choose to not interact with me. I’m here to interact, not to watch you interact with others.
For the most part I don't mind having multiple threads with someone, but at the same time I'm not going to pile on more threads then there needs to be. If something isn't working in our original threads, I need to know because this seems like you keep starting up something with me only for it to be abandoned later on. I like to stick to what we have and work it out. If it's not working out, I like to know why. I'm actually guilty of this as well so I'm going to make a point of not doing this anymore and adding it to my rules.
I get a bit of duplicate anxiety. I'm fine for the most part, but if you are constantly ignoring my threads for someone with the same muse, it's a shitty feeling. I may unfollow for my mental health. If I am doing the same to you without realizing let me know, that's not my intention
I really would like to plot more. I am a ship whore but I'm coming to find I still would like to have some kind of goal in mind. If you have ideas, please DM me. I play Alastor here, but I can play other characters as well for world building purposes in a thread.
I am a shy Mun so please I do encourage you to reach out to me. I send out memes and such to encourage starters. I do not bite. Alastor might though.
Please let me know if you have to follow from a personal so I know it’s you.
If I follow you and you do not follow back after a few days I will assume you're not interested and will unfollow you.
If you follow me and I don't follow back after a few days I may not be interested in Rping with you. Sometimes certain muses do not catch my interest. It's perfectly fine to unfollow me.
My writing can vary depending on who I’m rping with. I can write short and paragraph style format. It will also depends on how much inspiration I have for the thread. I will say though that if I’m writing a full-on paragraph and you give me one liners, don’t expect me to respond back. I take out time to write. If you are not interested just simply say so. I’m not here to force anything.
I’m open to multiship but I will warn you I lean more towards M/M then F/M. As a side note I am heavily fixated on RadioApple at this time.
Very very selective with OCs (I'll only accept OC's from close mutuals or if I so happen to like your OC I'll be following you). I'm not interacting with characters outside the Hazbin Hotel universe. Fan kids are fine though or angels. I will also interact with Helluva boss characters because I consider them part of the same verse.
I have no major triggers.
There will be sexual themes on this blog. I do not care if Alastor is Ace/Aromantic on the show. That's not how I play him here. Please do not hash that up with me. I'm here to have fun. That being said I'm not just looking for PWP there needs to be chemistry and some kind of buildup unless they are already in a relationship.
Alastor is not part of any set universe but can be multiverse if I have multiships.
Multiships will be part of their own verse. Alastor will not be cheating unless it is plotted out by muns.
Please no godmodding. there are only a very few that I trust to lead Alastor in certain situations but anything else that’s major needs to be talked with the mun first.
I can roleplay the same character and ship for YEARS and I tend to get attached to certain threads and muses. So, if you are not in it for the long haul, I’m sure there are others that can suit your needs. I'm not really here for fickle muses. I don't want to get excited about something just for it to be abandoned.
I do not ship Alastor/Charlie (radioBelle), Alastor/Rosie, Alastor/Nifty
Any hate/drama at all will be ignored and blocked.
I am not a grammar Nazi by any means, but if you respond back and I can barely understand what's being said, I don't think we will work out as rp partners.
Alastor is a cannibal and serial killer so there will be gore, blood, violence and all that applies. I suppose I should mark this blog as DEAD DOVE so it's clear to you that you enter at your own risk. I will try to tag as best as possible
I only do m/f with certain muns, but at this time I would rather do m/m please.

PSA: Reblog Karma vs Reblogging From Source
What is 'Reblog Karma'?
Reblog Karma is a term coined by the RP community in which you send in a meme to the roleplaying blog you are reblogging the meme from. Non-roleplaying blogs - particularly those who originally post the memes you're reblogging - typically prefer that you don’t send something in when you reblog a meme from them.
Many roleplayers practice this, but many roleplayers do not. It’s just a matter of personal preference, though to many it may feel coercive into forced interaction.
How is 'Reblogging From Source' different?
The source is the original poster of the meme.
However, for the case of reblogging from a source, this can also be extended to also include reblogging memes from other meme resource blogs - particularly those who double as archives who seek out older memes whose original poster blog may be inactive or has since completely deactivated.
As these are blogs specifically set up for the very purpose of reblogging memes from, it is highly encouraged that, whenever possible, you reblog from either the original poster (source), or from another meme blog that has reblogged the meme to enable people to be able to reblog without disrupting other roleplayers' notifications.

Hello there,
Welcome to my blog.
I’m Redley. Relatively new to Tumblr still, but I’ve been finding that I’m comfy here. Though it still feels awkward (thanks, dysphoria), I prefer she/her pronouns. I don’t mind they/them, but… meh. Note that Redley is neither my legal or chosen name; it is solely a handle, and I will only tell you my chosen name if I feel comfortable with you. If I extend that trust, please treat it with respect. If you don’t, I will remember.
Here’s the main stuff I’m comfortable sharing or want you to know about me:
1) I’m transfem, but haven’t had an opportunity to do much actual transitioning yet. Dislike my voice, adore my hair. My luscious, glorious, flowing hair.
1.5) I am likely pansexual, but I haven’t done enough research to know for sure. All I know is, people are… well, people are hot.
2) I live in Florida, but was not raised here. The climate and scenery are nice; the local government sucks ass though. Also, I miss snow.
3) I’m a diagnosed autistic, falling somewhere on the high-functioning end of the spectrum. I’m on prescribed antidepressants, but have not been able to find a psychologist/psychiatrist yet because it’s fucking Florida.
4) There are a lot of things and people I don’t understand, but I’m always open to learning. Trying new food is a special passion of mine, and I’ve met some quite fascinating new people since starting this blog. (*eoughck* @potentially-a-poser *aucghk* @analogue-system *ahem*)
5) I will not tolerate hateful behavior. You will be immediately blocked for shit like denying any of the shades of aro/ace individuals as being part of the LGBTQIA+ community. If you see me spreading misinformation or saying something that excludes members of the community, please tell me. I’ll research the matter, as well as review any sources you send me.
5.5) okay so I think I’m demiromantic
6) I do not mind being tagged or sent asks or otherwise brought into conversations. People who abuse that will likely get blocked, but whatever your social anxiety is telling you probably comes nowhere near ‘abuse’ in my book. Anonymous asks are enabled, but that can likewise change if the feature is abused. Hate asks will be blocked, naturally.
7) I would prefer being asked before you directly message me. If you don’t, there is a possibility you’ll be blocked, but it’s not a guarantee. I don’t want me and my friends’ conversations getting buried by anything.
8) If you consistently and frequently post tiktok/reddit memes with little to no commentary, I may block you simply out of annoyance should you repeatedly show up on my dash. It’s not personal. If something about you makes me suspicious or uncomfortable, but not outright offended, I’ll most likely notify you of my reason before I block you.
9) Age: pick a number between 1 and 100 because it’s none of your fucking business. None of you are entitled to any of my personal information, regardless of the reason. I will share only what I want.
My Behaviors
There are certain things I gravitate towards or away from on this site. Here’s some:
1) I am most likely to follow people who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, are mentally ill, or are dealing with some variety of personality disorder. This is mostly just due to the fact that I find the most common ground with those people. But even those who I have little common ground with, I’ll tend to find very interesting.
2) I don’t mind things like roleplay and hornyposting on my dash, but will almost certainly not interact myself, or make original posts in that category. More extreme examples won’t necessarily get you blocked or unfollowed, but… well, my filtered tags list may grow.
3) I don’t always tag reblogs. This may mean that my followers will see random things that caught my interest. It could be art, shitposting, tender affirmations, politics, or just goofy-ass Tumblr shit. If something I regularly reblog/post about bothers you and isn’t properly tagged, let me know.
4) I am discovering that maybe, I might, perhaps, be a little bit nosy. When I see someone receiving hate or suffering and stressed, I am likely to take it upon myself to do or say something to try to make them feel better. If I bother you with this, I will not be hurt or offended if you block me. In general, I will do my best to be respectful of it when people draw boundaries, so don’t hesitate to draw any you feel necessary.
5) If your intentions are pure, you will likely find that I try to be forgiving and/or understanding of your mistakes, at least in regards to interacting with me. (The /or is a very important distinction.)
6) I will often be attracted to dark, tragic, or dystopic works of art/fiction. I get a form of catharsis from such media, and some of my writing will reflect that.
That’s about it.
That’s all the important stuff I can think of, aside from tags which are at the end. Still, this post may be updated or rewritten in the future. In general, just be kind and open-minded, and we’ll get along fine. Even if you disagree with me, as long as you are civil and rational about things, I’ll likely have no problem interacting with you.
Be safe, and be yourself! <3

An (Albeit Late) Writeblr Intro
I'm seeing all the Writeblr introduction posts going around and I'm starting to realize that, damn, I should have started my blog that way. But I didn't, so I might as well post my intro a while after I've written and reblogged other things, because it's the least I can do.
So, with that out of the way: excuse my fuck-ups, and here's a really late Writeblr intro…
______________________________________________
Hi! I don't think anyone wants to type out my long username whenever they're referring to me, so just call me 'A.' (He/him). I've been lurking on Tumblr for a while and I figured I'd actually get up and make a blog for writing. I don't exactly have any particular focus outside of just "random crap that relates to writing in any way, shape, or form" so I could be putting up memes, drabbles I wrote, excerpts from my WIPs, writing memes, etc. etc. I'll make other blogs if I wanna focus in on one specific writing aspect later, but for now, I'm keeping things general.
My current major WIP as of now is APS (stands for 'A Powerful Secret' but I usually just call it the acronym since it sounds cooler). It's a sci-fi dystopia trilogy centering around the idea of superhumans being discovered by an already-corrupt government. There's also a spinoff I want to work on, but that's way off into the future. I'm currently working on B2 of the trilogy; it's currently in the first draft. Considering that this series is still a major work-in-progress, I might not be able to post anything about it until a bit later.
I do have plenty of other side projects that I most certainly want to share on here, since I feel more confident posting those first (when I get back to writing them, of course). Some of these side-WIPs include:
The Devil On My Shoulder: A fiction centering around a depressed college-aged student, and how his life changes when a demon is kicked out from hell and comes crashing right into his home.
This is probably the story I'm most excited to work on, given that I've mapped out all the twists and turns in my head already, and all I need to do is write it.
ATM (placeholder title): A story — possibly a series — revolving around a civilization that relies heavily on elemental magic which takes the form of specific jewelry (ex: elemental rings, necklaces, wristbands, etc.). It's often used to fight back against the monsters that invaded the world decades ago. The source of the creatures is something that nobody knows, but the protagonist, Nadeline, is dead set on finding out.
This story may take a longer while to write, considering that it's a high-fantasy type of story, which is a genre I don't write often but want to write more of.
Don't Leave: (That may or may not be a placeholder title; it depends). A novel that focuses on the town of Bayholde, which forbids anyone from traveling outside of it and has closed itself off from the world almost entirely. Kaguya, a young man who is fed up with being trapped inside, makes his escape from Bayholde one night just to see what lies in the outside world. What he finds is most certainly not pretty.
______________________________________________
You can bet I'll be posting at least something related to the first or third WIP sometime soon. In the meantime, though, I'll probably fill up the blog with all the other things I mentioned before: drabbles, excerpts, memes, maybe the occasional writing prompt/idea if I feel like it.
I really look forward to seeing what the rest of Writeblr brings, along with reading everyone else's works/WIPs! :)
— A.

Some New Guidelines on Askbox Accusations/Callouts Since We Have Had This Happen Twice in Our Life Now
...and would like it if it didn't happen again.
Tumblr media
[The "Weird It Happened Twice" meme. It's Doofenschmirtz from the TV show Phineas & Ferb stating "If I had a nickel for every time I was doomed by a puppet, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice." while looking very confused or disconcerted over two image frames.]
Okay so like, here's the thing: if you tell us "X user is Y identity and that's bad," and you give us zero other details we will simply call you a cop and tell you to fuck off.
If you can detail to us "hey, I think you may not have known this. X person is part of Y movement. Here are links Z, A, V, and U along with their web archives detailing how X user is acting and here are links T, B, I, and O to add additional context. Here are links to articles C, F, R, P, and K plus their web archives describing how this is a hate movement that X user is a part of," then maybe we will listen to you.
We might vent about anti-endogenics being bigots for example but we aren't going to like, send specific callouts about specific anti-endogenics or whatever and invade peoples' spaces telling them to not talk to that person or reblog without sourcing our claims that the person or system is anti-endogenic because that would be fucking rude at best. The person we are sending the accusation to may not even know about it!
In addition:
If we are going to be entering someone's inbox to tell them X person is part of Y movement then articles/posts C, F, R, P, and K plus their web archives cannot just be random vents directly from us unless the vent contains pertinent information. We are allowed to be mad, but you probably want to know we are serious about what we are claiming. We expect the same of you.
Regarding the above: this does mean we do not want to hear "and if you support Y then I hope you die in a fire," or similar on a serious discussion post. A vent post might be a much better option for that language. Please see the previous point about vent posts.
"A lot of people accept D bigoted thing in Y community therefore it is a hate movement" nope, wrong! By that logic everyone in your rather benign but possibly uninformed community is actually part of a hate movement down to the last person who does not use the "right" language around you. We hope you realize why this is a very bad path to go down and it is one we are personally trying to heal from.
Screenshots do not count if something is supposedly publicly available where a link would suffice. Unless it is either about something horribly and-or urgently dangerous or we have directly asked you about it, we really do not want to see your personal beef with anyone as seen through the screenshots of DMs/PMs.
Please expect us to fact-check your statements if and when we manage to find the time/energy/motivation to do so. We may not get back to you immediately or even ever but that doesn't necessarily mean we have done nothing either lol.
Hopefully this will make it clear what our standards are when it comes to looking into movements, people, organizations, and groups we know zero information about.
If it is not: we are essentially asking you to put together a cohesive argument defending your opinion the way we were taught (mix of formal and informal with a hint of critical-synthetic thinking). We are not asking for your inferences about what the words in the DSM mean or your assumptions about what a particular group of people are like. We want you to use your resources to do your own research and then explain the most basic, most important points to us along with the footnotes to turn those inferences into an opinion with weight behind it.
For example: if the DSM V says "associated with" trauma when it comes to DID, and you take that to mean a causative relationship, we have some very bad news for you when it comes to science. And here's an extra source for good measure for all of the hateful sysmedicalists out there who believe DID is the only way to be plural and/or that endogenic systems cannot have DID.
Therefore, anything that even infers that DID is proven, beyond a doubt, by specifically trauma and only trauma will be seen to us as anti-science. The DSM says "associated" and we can speculate about the reasons why all day. Speculation still isn't the same as scientific inquiry. How about, instead of letting your hatred over some systems not being the same as you get in your way, you go and do some anti-saneism advocacy in your local neighborhood so systems can exist in public spaces without discrimination?
We are not putting a double standard on anyone, this is the same reaction most people would very reasonably have if you screamed the word fire in a movie theater and there was no actual fire.
-----
Now that this is all cleared up, we can confidently state as follows:
The biggest elephant in the room since we see discorse pop up about it once in a blue moon and it is also the reason we had to bring back the "don't be a cop and assume we are pro- or anti- anything just because we reblog from someone we don't even know" post: we do not know what a radqueer transid is and do not fucking give a shit for the most part. Preliminary conclusions tell us we are likely to be staunchly against anything that is transhateful; that we see no difference between transbodic versus aldernic or chronosian and transage as even if people try to assert there is a distinction, we just don't see it we guess; transspecies and transgender when they are opt-in (and the key phrase IS, in fact, opt-in) are fine we think; and that everything else is on thin fucking ice at best. As soon as you hear a word combined with another word and it's anything besides derogatory you start assuming we are pro-whatever-the-fuck-this-is. We can see this debate going on in our periphery and the hostility and vile attitudes all around is making it fundamentally unsafe for us to say we don't know or do not have enough information. We have seen how groomer accusations go down when it comes to LGBT queer people. Stop it. If these people are just trying to exist in peace we don't want a part in the harassment. If they are harmful then we will find the proof of it one way or another but you are not going to be sending unsubstantiated claims and ad-homniem attacks to our askbox. C'est la vie — keep it on your blog and shut the fuck up if you cannot calmly substantiate your claims while bringing it up to us.
The same goes for random fucking statements like "well I guess I should just die then lmao," about anti-psychiatry stuff. Especially if you are pushing yourself into our notifications and making that sort of claim, and especially if there is nothing in the text stating as such. You are the one who is barging into our space and making umprompted accusations and the onus/burden of proof is on you, not us and not anyone else.
This is also the reason that we tend to lean more pro-ship than anti-ship to be honest? Saying "we don't give much of a damn," is not accurate in the slightest but is also the best phrasing we can come up with for this one unfortunately. We simply think that a lot of folks were not taught media analysis skills one way or another. While the curtains may actually just be blue, we also do not think people should get to say "the curtains were just blue," until they can understand how rhetoric works. This is the mystery "second time," we had this happen to us and it was when we were back on our old (probably termed by now tbh) account @/thatoneweirdhumanisback. It was the same as before but with the added annoyance of this particular system having asked to be our "friend" not more than a month ago. That by itself felt incredibly manipulative weather or not it was intended.
Just because we come to a decision or conclusion that you do not agree with does not mean that we did not listen and if you imply that, you are essentially using the same tactics our abusive former-stepmother used to accuse us of "misbehaving" and being an immoral person for the supposed "misbehavior". We sincerely hope you understand why that is not a great look. Please look up the acronym DARVO and the term gaslighting if you do not. If we see even a hint that is the direction any conversation is going you're getting an immediate block. It isn't a moral judgement on you, it's for our own safety (and possibly yours too if that is how you handle your interpersonal relationships generally — we also get like that when we have a sense we have lost control of our life and we hope you get better if that is truly your situation).
If you are going to send us an accusation about another being in our askbox or DMs and your own emotional investment leads to a failure to follow these guidelines, we're also probably going to block you on sight for that as well. That is not something we want to get involved in. That tells us you are clearly incapable of basic decency at the time the message was sent.
We also hope it is obvious why the same result will occur if you do this in reference to us but if it is not clear that also tells us you are clearly incapable of basic decency at the time the message was sent and in addition you're...probably also pulling something out of context. If we are venting we probably won't be giving any nuanced thought to something. If we are not venting, we think scrolling around our blog for five or so minutes will make it a little more clear to most people how we generally act and react. If someone or somesys didn't even bother to do that they probably aren't worth our time anyways.
Basically, this is a very long-winded way to tell you to not ask us about our opinions, interject and try to influence our opinions (particularly if you are using shame and guilt in doing so), or debate us unless we have openly and clearly invited you to do so.
Guidelines and our opinions (the opinions listed here or elsewhere) can and always will be subject to change dependant on new information we find to be credible.
Find a different blog to satisfy your bloodlust writhing need for hatred.
