I was a fan of Webtoons Redhood and the Outlaws but felt that Outlaws is a bad team name but loved how Jason, Artemis, & Bizarro are like a warped mirror version of the Trinity and thought well to make an anti JLA I should have Roy Harper and Guy Garner to represent GL and GA respectively (I couldn't think of a Flash equivalent) and Atomsmasher to represent Atom.

Ice joined the team because Guy Garner insisted on bringing his girlfriend, Fire joined because she's not leaving her BFF to be taken advantage of.

Metamorphosis, and Katana are the only OG Outsiders returning to my fan roster while Thunder & Lightning takes their father's place.

Ahoy, I'm Hero and this is my dollblr sideblog (Personal is @onesunofagun and I'm also Microhero on IG)

I'm Australian and I got ADHD

and because of that I tend to do a shit ton of crafting

I am starting to do repaints and custom dolls as a hobby. I do art and design for a livin and I dabble in miniatures/diaroma, clay and resin work already, and want to get into making doll clothing too later on. I may also post resin doll props sometimes.

As a wee gay I had two barbies that I used to make clothes for, but I didn't have a collection of dolls. In my 20s I've collected figurines and Nendoroids where I could and specifically a couple of Frankie's from monster high.

Ma volunteers now at a second-hand place and some dolls pass through, things like Bratz and Barbies, mostly. An older lady that collects dolls works there too and she kindly gifted me a ton of doll hair, and she makes doll clothing.

So now I'm 30 and I want to play with fashion dolls again.

Nerd Week Selection - Antman

My fan roster for Marvel's Heroes for Hire. I see it as a team of Street level heroes and former villains.

Luke Cage, Danny Rand, and Jessica Jones would be the leads with a semi rotating team

Controversial decision: I won't have The Daughters of the Dragon in the team because Misty Knight is currently with Sam Wilson, and I have Headcannon that the reason he was trying to hand over his title (back when people were pearl clutching at the idea that someone would master the martial arts and NOT be Asian) was because he is suffering from severe depression, and Luke figures his brother doesn't need the drama.

Spider-Man is on the team as a side hustle

D-Man works with them if there is a case involving or they need help from the homeless.

Daredevil is on the team because of the Netflix Defenders connection, but he also works as their legal consultant

Cloak &Dagger are on the team because of their team up with Daredevil in X-men 97. I also thought there's a good running gag about everyone calling C&D Luke and Danny if they were melodramatic lovers.

White Tiger is on the team because of the Ultimate Spider-Man (Disney XD one) connection

Atlas (Thunderbolts) is on the team because I thought it would be fun to have all three versions of Powerman on the team. It made Scott Lang on the team redundant, but if Danny's ex was going to cause drama, Jessica's ex certainly would.

Sandman was the first ex villain, I thought of for the team, and his powers could come really handy.

Prowler (Hobbie Brown) is on the team because the team will need a thief from time to time

IronHeart is on the team because I wanted a tech person, and I could just imagine Luke and Jessica not putting up with her BS, which is what Riri needs

introducing the opposite of superheroes: microheroes people who have superpowers but instead of fighting crime or saving lives, help in really little ways Like, they just look out for everyone on a day-to-day basis and try to help everybody out in little ways

and of course they come with microvillains, who delight in using their powers to mildly annoy people, play pranks, and committ minor crimes such as piracy or jaywalking

With all of the wonderful, horrible, emotional, historic words being spoken and actions being taken, I turn to social media.

I’ve never been a particularly political person, because politics have always intimidated me. I am a person who is incredibly afraid of conflict and terrified of making mistakes, and the political conversations I’ve had in the past in attempts to educate myself have been stressful. But I want to learn, and now, I am finally starting to.

While the internet and social media can be hellish to navigate and incredibly unrelenting and unforgiving, it is also an endless resource. I have been saving and storing so much information over the last few days to learn how I can truly become an ally and how I can truly become anti-racist - and, as I did back in high school, I turn to note-taking and to journaling to take it all in. I’ll be going post by post to educate myself, digesting the information in the way I’ve always done best: by rewriting it and turning it into an art. Being creative has always been therapeutic for me, and though taking the time to make a simple quote look decorative and pretty is a waste of time to others, it makes what I’m writing down resonate with me so much more. It makes it easier to remember, and it’s how I learn.

Some of the posts will be here, such as this one, but most of them will likely be on my bullet journaling account on Instagram (chantywrites) - and if you darlings would like to come along on this journey with me, I will slowly but surely be sifting through the information and sharing my notes as I go. Sometimes they’ll simply be inspirational or comforting or moving quotes. Sometimes they’ll be statistics. Sometimes they’ll be resources. All of them will likely be information you’ve already read dozens and dozens of times now, but I want to share it here on this blog, in one of the places I’ve always felt safest to make mistakes.

As someone who loves to attend conventions, almost all of the Instagram accounts I follow are for small business owners and independent artists that travel to these conventions - and over the last few days, so many of these beautiful artists have been using their platforms to raise awareness and using their businesses to donate to wonderful organizations.

Almost every single shop listed below is putting forth 100% of their profits for these charity items towards several organizations, and while I hope donations are continuing to be made with or without any material incentive in return, I am incredibly happy to be able to support these artists while also joining in their efforts to make a difference. When we are all able to healthily and safely be outside once again, I hope that someone will notice the pins on my bags and jackets and ask about them, and I will proudly tell them of the wonderful artists that made them.

Microhero of Bianca di Angelo in my Dark!Bianca AU

some notes;

-Scarred face and badly burned arm as lasting injuries from the junkyard. Internally, she's been treated with magic healing and automaton reinforcement of her skeleton, making her far tougher than before.

-Her arsenal is a darker take on the Hunters' loadout, swapping the bow for a crossbow and relying mostly on a hunting axe for close quarters

-Initially hides herself with a facemask, but abandons it after joining the Titan Army openly

-Develops her powers over shadows and darkness to a greater degree than Nico. Aside from Shadow Travel, she can turn invisible, supress light, and generate tendrils and dark energy, though these powers do require a lot of concentration and effort.

-Good enough to fight evenly with Percy several times, though she gets flattened when he gets Achillies-ed.
