You know I feel like games like Tokyo debunker and twisted wonderland don’t use mc being sick with the flu while shit is going down as a plot device and that’s so unfortunate. Like can you imagine mc tea in hand watching a show, maybe playing video games, hell sleep for once and there’s an overblot or a really overwhelming investigation going on. I think really the only thing that this would help with developing the story is that it would force the characters to deal with their problems without the support of mc. Sure they may not need mc to battle, but the support mc provides is something the characters miss dearly when the battle is over. Can you imagine one of the guys turning around looking for praise from mc only to realize that mc is not there. And listen could this literally just be what happens when mc returns home or dies? Sure, but it’d be a pretty decent angst/comfort story. I think something that would also make such a plot interesting is if mc had an argument with the character. Anyways really the only issue is that there’s not a lot going on with mc. Sure if there was an argument then the guilt would eat them up inside. But that doesn’t matter because as far as mc knows they’re fine. It would be kinda interesting if mc was a workaholic, and like the staff have to literally pin mc down to prevent them from doing dangerous shit while they’re hardly coherent. But alas these game companies are too pussy to ensure mc has a personality that isn’t super fucking nice. (Also literally no one would willingly deal with the shit these mc’s deal with. So fair… I guess.)

the past few days i had been toying with the idea of writing wanshi from p.unishing g.ray r.aven. ( he's a war medic, and a sniper. yes. you heard right. ) with him gaining his new frame, i feel like he's someone i want to explore in terms of mentality. him loving & cherishing life, wanting to cure and heal people but in the dystopian setting he's in, he cannot save people fast enough with his hands as healer and a medic. ( not to mention limited resources and him being forced to prioritize some lives more than others and it TORE him apart. ) him taking it upon himself to fight, to protect instead of simply heal. to make sure he doesn't watch the precious lives being wasted away when he could have. the sacrifices and pain he witnessed, the blood he has on his hands, the patients he failed to save and lost ... i don't know ... he just speaks to me SO MUCH in this newest update and i find myself wanting to take him up. the problem is that no one knows about p.unishing g.ray r.aven setting / universe. maybe i could make a wuwa verse for him since they're both developed by kurogame & are similar in terms of being post-apocalyptic setting ? i'll sit on it a bit more.

The designs are so pretty, it's simple but fun and there are no sexualizing characters just pretty girly pops. Granted it's not perfect but honestly when I heard the people who made BOTW are involved in this game I'm like 😆

If you want an aesthetic healing game that doesn't involve wracking your brain and just chilling this is great. (Although if you're a hardcore gamer who likes games that has a complex fighting mechanic, then I don't think this is for you, even tho yes it does have a battle mechanic it's really simple. But it doesn't hurt to give it a try)

also V's scene can't be triggered if youre playing trans!mc. I ran a V only save 3 times to make sure i wasnt crazy and I only get the kiss. I ran a new save cis!mc (for lack of better wording) and got the scene just fine

i'm not able to recreate this bug on my side at all, i'm able to trigger all versions of the scene just fine... last anon said they cleared their history to get it to work so idk if that's what you have to do? it seems to be a problem on itchio's side not updating. and especially for the trans mc those variables aren't even linked so i'm really baffled about that one not triggering for you but the other one did... my only suggestion is to try and refresh again or clear your cache or something 😭 i'm sorry. you can send me a more detailed "report" if you want and tell me what choices you made and i can try and see if there is some weird code happening but like i said i was able to trigger all the scenes myself so it makes me think it's the itchio issue, especially if you're playing on mobile.

edit: someone pointed this out in the replies & i should have mentioned that clearing your cache will wipe other saves you have on itchio so be careful!
