okay i did a little searching, since i often don't understand such ship names. if google doesn't lie to me, then the first one is Pomni/Jax, and the second is Pomni/Caine.

damn, I thought funnybunny was the name for Ragatha/Jax 💔💔

i don't ship Pomni/Jax but i find the pairing cute. i don't sense any special dynamic between them, Jax just makes fun of her the same way he makes fun of everyone else because he's a jerk (i say this lovingly). when i discovered that this pairing was the most popular in the fandom, i didn’t really understand why, since i wouldn’t say that there was anything particularly interesting going on between these two. I think the dynamics between Jax and Ragatha were more distinct, which I immediately noticed, they had tension and i really liked it x) but then, after thinking about it a little, i realized why Pomni/Jax is the most popular ship (I guess?? it's just my supposition) — people combined two of the most main characters, one of whom is a badass-tumblr-sexyman, and the second is an angsty ordinary person with whom people could identify themselves. anyway i just find it funny that so many people like this ship. i saved fanarts of these two a couple of times because i thought they were cute. to be honest, kitsch's (@ bunnyjesters/ nuzipilled) works probably influenced my opinion about this ship the most. arts with Pomni and Jax from kitsch is probably my favorite among all the other fanarts for this couple, i think that he well preserves their canon behavior and characters despite the fact that the pairing itself in the cartoon is non-canon, and their interactions in his art feel quite realistic for me! i love how kitsch draws them and how he uses gestures and body language to show their emotions, it's very, very cute. so yeah, i don't ship them, but i do find some of the fanart of them cute. i drew this a while ago, so have this if it will make you happy 🌸

now Kaine/Pomni...ahmmm, to be honest, i was even more surprised that this is probably the second most popular pairing in the fandom? :D apparently it really comes across often and haha, i don’t understand it... i’ve never been interested in the dynamics of student/teacher or employee/boss, in my understanding there can be no romance in their relationship, maximum platonic, family relationships, understanding each other. Kaine is very quirky and doesn't seem like he's interested in romance (i generally like Kaine/Moon, but i really think Kaine is just confused by Moon's behavior since he's not interested in her romantically x)). it's more like he treats all the guys in circus like friends, colleagues or something like that. so yeah, it's weird for me to see romantic stuff with Pomni/Caine, but like the first one, occasionally i might come across fanart with them that i think is cute. once I saw a mini-comic (don't remember the author) dedicated to that circus teaser, in the comic Caine suddenly appeared in Pomni's room. Pomni, out of fear, hits him sharply, after which he got upset and she began to apologize <з

if we talk about my fav ship, i love Ragatha/Jax! i don't remember this "name" for the pairing, but yes, that's them. dynamics like theirs are my favorite dynamic in couples, i just love it when characters can't stand each other lol. i love the tension between them and i'm afraid i paid too much attention to it while watching the pilot... oh my god, a moron, who pisses everyone off, with a good-natured girl, who wants to help everyone, but she has to deal with this asshole. i guess it's the "from hate to love" trope, right? i like that the first thing that manifests itself in such couples is negativity, they just piss each other off and cannot calm down. but after a while the annoying cools down and they begin to open up to each other. ofc i don't know Gooseworks’ plans, but you guys probably thought that Jax is actually not such a jerk as he shows himself to be, and in fact he is a deeper character, with his own traumas and trials? let's not turn this into a tragic sob story, but nevertheless, Gooseworks said "every tadc character has a reason why they behave the way they do" and i believe that we will be revealed that. it seems to me that to some extent Jax and Ragatha can complement each other. Like, you know, it’s like N helps Uzi cool down and be calm, and Uzi helps N to be confident and defend his positions. maybe Jax can show Ragata that her toxic positivity is not the best option and sometimes you need to be tough, and Ragatha can help him open up, share his problems and well...to be less jerk-like. and yes, of course i can't get it out of my head that Jax called her "dollface" while he gave the others rude nicknames haha

also i like Ragatha/Pomni, i probably don’t pay much attention to them, but they're good. there are cute interactions between them and it seems that Ragatha was better than the others in being able to approach her and become somewhat of a friend. Ragatha has this energy of a caring mother or something, so her desire to help Pomni get comfortable in the circus and direct her to positive thoughts is cute. at the same time, Pomni looks extremely confused, but Ragatha is the one she turns to because she seems the most adequate and friendly of the others. i liked to draw how they hug, but in i think that most likely Ragatha would not have allowed herself to hug someone without asking, at least she would have asked permission x) however, it seems to me that physical contact and kind words are Ragatha's way of support, so simply holding hands with her would calm Pomni down

also i like Pomni/Gangle and Gangle/Kinger and i don'tind other ships as well !!

I don’t have much to say about favorite character, I’m literally in love with Howzer and I’ve never loved a character as much as him. for Chion, he’s just an asshole and that’s enough for me. He has a lot of potential as a character and I’m really excited for him in the series, I would not be his friend IRL though because he would literally be the worst person to be around. And you know what, everyone can hate him but I will always appreciate him😚💖Gilthunder, Diane and Donny are runner ups for fav character!

To be honest, I don’t TOTALLY dislike Ban but…idk. I don’t like him very much, but not only for the very obvious Elaine related reasons. Something he did at the beginning of 7ds kinda stuck with me, when he tried to kill Meliodas to get Elaine back. I guess it’s supposed to be, like, heartbreaking that he wants his woman back so bad he’d kill his best friend???? Mid battle???? Like girl this is not about you rn😭 Idk if my friend tried to kill me to get her boyfriend back, I think I’d have to kill her idk that’s just me😭 and I’m really sorry to the Ban fans because I know he’s a good character and I get that he becomes a better friend later, that scene just stuck with me though

I feel like this might not be a super unpopular opinion but I didn’t really like Escanor at first. Ig I just didn’t really care about him. I like his night time self, he’s very sweet and dorky. The thing I like about SUPER confident and cocky characters is them getting taken down a notch, which he was, twice, so it’s fine. For Tristan, I’m so sorry but I really didn’t care for him at all😭 Before I read most of the scenes with him in it, I thought he was SOOOO bland and boring. Like, he was just nice, and loved, and that’s it. He seems like a character that thinks everything is his fault, which isnt a problem with him or his character, I just don’t really like characters like that. I like that he looks more like Elizabeth, I think that’s nice. Anyway I like him now and I think he’s more complex than I thought before!

I dislike Guinevere for the obvious reasons that everyone hates her for so I don’t have much to say😭I guess to cover the least favorite ship category, I don’t like her and Lancelot together and that one scene was super weird. I like her design tbh, she’s super cute, but yeah…

I honestly don’t dislike Veronica, I just like her design more than her herself😭She’s super caring and sweet, and loyal, just very abrasive sometimes. When she interacts with people and her family especially, you can tell that she really cares, even if she’s kinda mean. Anyway I love da bob and her dress, it’s very cute😌 on the flip side, I like Tioreh herself WAY more than her design. I honestly cannot pin down what I don’t like about her design, I just really really don’t like it😭 I’m sorryyyyyy

For the fav ships, I don’t have too much explaining to do (I’m gonna keep saying that and I’m lying every single time). For Gilthunder x Howzer, I just really love the friends to lovers trope. Although a One-sided! Howzer x Gilthunder is probably more realistic. Anyway I love their friendship as it is :) To be honest I never liked rivals to lovers until this Chion x Donny phase I have going on right now, I have no explanation for this I just think they’re cute.

Elizabeth is super sweet, and honestly I don’t mind her voice, she is such a caring friend. Jade is just like, the most normal character I think ever so I would be his friends irl, probably😭

I would NOT be friends with Gowther, I feel like he would expose me so often, and like, one of my biggest fears is that someone is reading my mind, so he’s literally my nightmare, and I don’t wanna know him😭

I am surprised how much I loved it. I was gonna watch one episode per day but I failed and watched all 3 in one day.

I'm disappointed Clancy Brown and Patrick Schwarzenegger's character died in the first freaking episode but it wouldn't be The Boys without someone getting killed. Hopefully we'll see them in the flashback or something.

Honestly Emma is giving me Enid Sinclair (Wednesday Addams' roommate) vibe except more adult. I was expecting her to do some sort of sexual act while small but didn't expect it to be hanging off a dick. That shit was funny as hell.

I really like Marie's character but I really hope they don't do a plot twist that she was born with the powers because it was already confirmed that Ryan from The Boys was the first. I hate it when spinoffs contradict the originals. I know they're in the same universe but not every fan of The Boys are going to watch Gen V. I think Marie's parents giving her Compound V would be more interesting because that might mean her sister got powers too. Maybe she's in the woods. I had no idea the actress played Rosalind on Chilling Adventure of Sabrina. She looks so different with the new hair style and glasses (less nerdy looking).

I thought Jordan Li was going to be my fav because their super power seem really cool but I honestly don't like them. Their personal story is interesting but I don't like them as a person. Maybe that'll change later on. Actually someone said they shipped them with Marie and I'm actually interested. I love enemies to lovers trope.

I honestly thought Cate was gonna be the typical popular girl but she's a good person. Well her sexual assaulting people isn't cool but hey it's The Boys.

Andre as a character is ok but his story line is very predicable. There had to be at least one parent on the show who knows whats going on. I have to give credit to the actor who plays the dad. I loved the way he was able to express himself with his eyes.

I feel like Sam is gonna be my new favorite adorkable character.

I'm sure everyone noticed how God U is short for Godolkin University but do you see how it plays into the supes god complex? I mentioned this before a long time ago how Vought must've taught Homelander that he's basically a god and superior to humans. This proves that all these supes are being brainwashed to believe this.

Why do I personally enjoy gay romances to het ones? Preference and taste probably. I also tend to enjoy the angst, longing, tropes, passion, etc in the way its written more than I do in the ways those things are written between a straight couple. And that's not to say I don't enjoy straight romances either! I have plently of het ships I love too, and a few good romances that aren't gay 😂 I just have a preference, and that's okay! As for recommendations!! I have a LOTS! If you want to tell me about what YOU like to read, I can give even better recs. But for in general, some of my favorites...

1. Dorlene

Yeah obviously I’m basic as shit but I love them soooo much. And they’re is so much potential within them. Like we have the classic enemies to lovers, but we also have the adorable friends to lovers. And there is soo much angst potential with Marlene dying at the hands of Voldemort, and we love the good old avenge your dead lover trope. And Dorcas would deliver!!! Like just the pure intensity of their relationship will actually send me into a coma

2. Pandalily

Firstly, they are ADORABLE like they are such a cute pairing, but more than that they are both so smart like academic rivals to lovers anyone. Like Pandora with her experiments and Lily quite literally being the Brightest Witch of Her Year. Like imagine them on cute little study dates. Or the fact that they are both so smart and cool. Like everyone would be in love with lily and Pandora is causing everyone to question their sexuality

3. Nobleflower

Give the older girls some love. Like they’re so sweet and cute. But then the ANGST the BETRAYAL. Narcissa marrying Lucius malfoy and Bellatrix being the reason that Alice lost her mind. Like can you imagine Narcissa coming to see Alice in hospital but Alice having no memories of the two, Narcissa being the one forced to carry all the memories of their relationship. Or even worse, Alice remembering Narcissa and being confused whenever Narcissa would leave her or never come to visit. Like I’m in actual tears but I love them

4. Killerquill (or Quillkiller idk)

Look a bit awkward that they’re right after Narcissa and Alice but that’s ok. These two are my fav grey coded characters like awww look at them committing war crimes I love them. But these two in a relationship is quite literally such a whirlwind. Like both of them are so cool and interesting on their own. And together thye have so much potential for just evil and I love that like there is no angst in this one because they both are just ok with committing terrible acts together. These two are demons and I love that for them, like let girls be evil and let them have fun doing it.

5. Emmary

Last, but not least we have emmary, the two sweetest nicest girls on the planet. Like their love story is just sooo romantic and could be so powerful when it comes to discussions of survival guilt and how to move on from traumatic events. Because don’t forget both Mary and Emmeline SURVIVE the first war. Like I would kill to read a fic that just explores the relationship dynamic pre and post first wizard war. Because we have both the cute, sweet innocence of teen love, but then mixed with the trauma of surviving a war and losing many of their friends. And then the ANGST that is the death of Emmeline during the second war and how Mary copes with the loss of one of the last people who attached her to the wizarding world.

rules: list five things you never get tired of writing. it can be tropes, themes, characters, phrases, whatever brings you joy. then tag five people!

Angst - I have depression and go through random bouts of late night sadness and the easiest way to work through it sometimes is to just write something sad and cry while doing so. Also sometimes you just gotta put your fav ships through pain to find the happiness in the end. Just like depression. You go through the pain, but happiness is right around the corner.

Smut - you absolutely cannot stop me from writing smut. I’ve been doing it since I was 12 years old and it’s something I just know I can write. I felt weird for being so young and liking something so sexual, but then I found out half of the writers were young teenage girls who were finding out about sexuality and whatnot (much like myself) and it wasn’t a big deal like I thought it was. It was just apart of growing up and realizing that some people just mature faster than others and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Men in love - I’m gonna be completely honest, I started shipping men back in the 1D fandom when the Larry Proof videos started making appearances (even if they never come out and say anything, those looks they gave each other? They were in love). I,however, did not start writing for men in love until 2019 when I was presented with Reddie (Eddie Kaspbrack and Richie Tozier) from the remake of IT. It started out with me reading the ship until my own ideas formed and after that, I found how much I enjoyed writing for a pair of men so clearly in love with each other. Icemav is my new fav ship to write for this 🤭

Size differences - I LOVE WRITING FOR SIZE DIFFERENCES. When one partner is so clearly smaller than the other and projecting their need for love and attention, while the taller one gives off “I must protect and love this small creature with everything in me”. It fits all of my ships so well and I love writing this dynamic interact.

Mutual pining idiots - when they’re in love or in lust with each other and it’s so clear to everyone around them, but they’re literal dumbasses who can’t tell the other wants to kiss them or pin them against a wall. It never gets old. It’s goes so well with friends to lovers and enemies to lovers. Like, do y’all really hate each other or do you just want to fuck? Bc everyone here can see that you want to jump each others bones except y’all. I will probably forever write this trope.

For the book as meme, 4 (fav sci-fi), 13 (fav thriller), and 37 (least fav trope used in a way that works for you)?

Did not actually read-read the other responses yet, so questions may have duplicated.

4) Favorite sci-fi: The answer I gave carrionfourth was: "The Ship Who Sang and Dragonsdawn by Anne McCaffrey. Ancillary Mercy by Ann Leckie. Exit Strategy and Network Effect by Martha Wells. The Galaxy and the Ground Within by Becky Chambers. Rescues and the Rhyssa by TS Porter". I stand by all that, it's absolutely correct, but now I'm also thinking about Anne McCaffrey's works in general, and the incredible impact it had on me when I was a kid, to see her work her worldbuilding around so that she had fantasy staples like dragons (the Dragonriders of Pern) and unicorn girls (literally she named that series 'Acorna the Unicorn Girl'. I am in awe) and selkies (the Petaybee serieses) but with so much space travel and science around them that the books themselves still felt clearly sci-fi. She's not the only one, not by a long shot, but she was the first I read, and she changed the way I thought about genre conventions on a fundamental basis. There's a good chance that without her, I wouldn't have ever bothered reading any sci-fi, actually. There was a little chunk of time there where it seemed very much to me that fantasy books were for people (mostly girls) who liked animals and cared about having friends and sci-fi was for people (mostly men) who liked being very smart and having other people be afraid of them, and if I'd kept going with that mentality I think I'd be a much unhappier person today.

13) Favorite thriller: Well, having just said all that about being so glad I was taught to think outside the genre binary as a child, now I must confess I don't read a lot of thrillers. There's a level/type of suspense that just translates as stress to me, in a way I don't particularly enjoy (I watched a couple episodes of the Fargo show with Duncan and the intensity kept ramping up and when we turned the tv off my neck and shoulders ached. I'm just not good at it). I do really like mysteries--favorite mystery novel is probably The Secret of Chimneys by Agatha Christie; I mostly preferred the Marple shows but I love the Poirot books--and romantic suspense is great--Elizabeth Lowell (fave Lowell book is Always Time to Die) and Jayne Ann Krentz (Lie to Me) are both fantastic romantic suspense writers--and the crossover of both that is the JD Robb In Death series is an unending delight to me. But mostly I'd say I go for mysteries or adventures over thrillers.

37) Least fav trope used in a way that works for you: I really love The Last-Herald Mage trilogy by Mercedes Lackey, even though it has a tremendous amount of angst and suffering compared to my normal tastes, kills off the main character's love interest in the first book, and then has him show up again reincarnated to pair off with the main character once more. Only Mercedes Lackey could keep me genuinely invested through that storyline. Azure Bonds by Kate Novak and Jeff Grubb, also: amnesia, followed by false memories, with a final flourish of 'am I even a real person if these are my origins', but actually the book's a heckin romp. It's the first in the Finder's Stone trilogy, which is overall deeply entertaining but a real nightmare to try to explain or describe to people who haven't read it.

What got u into Eremika? Was it a specific scene in the story, a love of the characters or even a fanfic you read about them? Did u also expect it to ever be cannon?

i think it's pretty extreme to say episode one hahah but realistically I think ep 6 where we see how eren saves her. It was really it for me. That little boy went feral trying to protect a girl he didn't even know. And then wraps his scarf around her and takes her home. -- it's my fav childhood friends to lovers trope but infinitely more special!!!

And then the time where we see titan Eren for the first time and he's rampaging, but he still somehow saves Mikasa. And then Mikasa pulls him out of the nape and she's crying. nghhhhh!!!

And then honestly chap 50 sealed the deal with the "I'll wrap this scarf around you again and again. forever" / "as many times as I need to" Idek people were arguing about the correct translation but that was all the proof I needed from yams actually. They were in love and they just didn't know it yet!

i always thought it would be canon actually. something I have noticed is that if I love a show/series, I usually really love that author's writing style, and I always end up shipping the canon ships. hence I think it just kind of clicked to me that yams always wanted this. i mean, you can like it or not, but it was p clear that that's what he was getting at! from the very beginning!

ST romantic relationships through GA eyes

I don't usually write posts on Tumblr, but I love to read theories and look at fanarts of my fav shows. I truly enjoy exploring Stranger Things tags here on Tumblr, and I wanted to bring in some of my own views. Theories for st5 are what I am hyped about the most, and I wanted to share some of my thoughts about endgame relationships. It is truly fun to read. Just to state, I watch Stranger Things for supernatural and mystery elements. Ships are not really important for me here, since I am not a huge fan how they potray romance in most movies/shows (anime is an exception). I enjoy Stranger Things because of the plot and characters, romance is just a plus. Also, since I watch this show as GA, many things fly over my head, I understand what I see and hear. Tumblr theories are for the rest and it is fun. I am also a straight 25F, working in IT, so I don't really have any preference for any type of romance. I enjoy everything, if it is REALISTIC and not cliche haha.

S1 relationships

Steve and Nancy: it is a popular trope where a nerdy yet beatiful girl dates a typical bad boy. I liked Steve because of his looks (his personality was shitty af), and I found Nancy annoying - a perfect girl chasing a perfect life yet trying to be "cool" for her boyfriend. My thoughts on this ship were that Steve liked her, but didn't see much beyond her beauty and perfection. She was a price to be won. And she was trying too hard to adapt to him and his friends. You can clearly see, she doesn't fit there. It is not who she is. I didn't mind the ship, but I wasn't a fan of it.

Nancy and Jonathan: I truly didn't expect them to share any romance at the beginning. They are also too different, they don't fit. But they had a shared goal in mind + trauma later, to dive deep into their connection. They were there for each other, and I expected them to be good friends/support. They work good together, more like crime partners. I didn't consider their romance at this point.

Mike and Eleven: also, I didn't see this romance coming. At the beginning, Mike and the rest wanted to find Will and they used her to help them discover the mystery. Half of the time, they really treated her like a weapon and an object to fulfill their goal, which I didn't like in general. Also, they were truly mean and angry at her (some deserved, some not) when they discovered Will's fake body and that she was running them in circles. The first signs of any affection and friendship started when she saved Mike from falling and protected them from bullies. I believe Dustin and Mike considered her a possible friend for the first time. From here, I think I started to see affection coming from Mike, protectivness, glances etc. It was really sweet from him, even though it was funny to me she didn't catch most of it. I liked this change, she finally had somebody who cared for her and protected her. In my opinion, Mike definitely accepted her as a friend, and was surely developing a crush on her. The kiss and the confession were honestly too rushed for me, I didn't expect it. She looked still too confused to know better about romance and boyfriends, and Mike just started to like her. I would have waited a second season to develop this ship honestly, it was too rushed, and strange. Like 6-7 days they know each other, in 2-3 days they become friends/crushes, and then boom, romance. I don't mind, but too fast. I get Mike started to fancy her, but I wasn't sure 100 procent she even knew what it meant truly.

S2 relationships:

Steve and Nancy: it was bittersweet for me, because Steve finally started to change and improve for both him and her. I expected him to finally become a great boyfriend and person for her, yet she was the one to break things off in such a harsh way. Bullshit scene truly hurt me on so many levels, and right there I could see that Steve did truly love her, maybe even more now. He was willing to become better for her and improve his relationship, yet she started to realize she didn't love him at all or not anymore. Also, cheating on him with Jonathan was a low blow. Because of her words and this cheating, I didn't want them to continue this relationship and I was glad they broke things off. Steve deserved someone better, and they truly didn't fit here either even with the change.

Jonathan and Nancy: I have noticed the glances and the sexual tension, but in Murray's bunker things got really heated. In my opinion, they have chemistry here, passion and great teamwork/support. I can see them becoming a good couple.

Mike and Eleven: not many scenes, but it was a bit weird in the beginning to see such devotion to each other. He called her for almost a year, searched for her. It was really sweet and so sad, but I couldn't see if it was because of such huge love or guilt. I mean, the girl you knew 7 days, you have such great devotion and love - a cliche in my opinion, but I let it roll. It was truly bittersweet. Here, I also realized she liked him as well, since she wanted to see him desperetly and talk to him. In the end, their reunion was heartbreaking (you can see how much Mike was upset) and how long she waited for this day to come. The ball had truly amazing scenes, I started to like and enjoy this ship here. In my opinion, they should have streched the development of the ship to this point, but the ball was their peak. I would have prefered they confessed their love for the first time here, not developed such love and "devotion" in S1. But the ball won me over.

Bob and Joyce: deserved better and each other. Cried so much damn. In my opinion, they were the couple I instantly just loved. A perfect fit, a superior couple. Their scenes were the best and the most realistic compared to other couples so far in the show. I believe Bob should have stayed but oh, well.

Lucas and Max: honestly, Mike and Eleven's relationship should have been written like this. Slowly but steady. They first became friends over time, supported and comforted each other, and finally at the ball, danced and kissed each other. It seemed more realistic, and steady. Overall, I think they were really sweet, and cute when flustered. I enjoyed their scenes and interactions.

Dustin and Max: I am always sad when one person is left behind, but I was really proud how he handled it. I didn't really pay much attention on this ship, since I realized Lucas has a stronger connection.

S3 relationships (hated ships/characters here):

Steve and Robin: I truly believed their dynamic could become a potential romance, since they worked like a great team, and were funny af. But since no romance, best friends for life it is. Maybe even better in my opinion. Their dynamic is epic, a great fit.

Hopper and Joyce: sorry, but I was blind maybe that Hopper had feelings for Joyce before. You need to say it in front of my face haha. I always thought it was duty/good friend, but I guess, Jim's feelings may have become realistic in S2. I didn't see it coming when he asked her for a date as "friends". But since she was grieving for Bob, it wouldn't be realistic to accept and that she felt anything for him. I was happy and surprised in the end, she accepted his date as a chance to see where things could go. He sadly died (not really). I believed back there that this ship could become realistic if given time as well. They already were good friends, a great team, were there for each other and comforted each other when needed. They could take a step forward in my opinion, but give it time.

Dustin and Suzie - idk what to think, it was cute and funny af. When they started singing, I cracked up so much. It is sweet, they are pretty much similar. But differences will show if they will stay. Side ship obviously.

Nancy and Jonathan: great teamwork as always, but we start to see differences in their life perspective/dreams. I honestly had doubts about this ship because I can see the love and teamwork, but somehow their differences won't work out in the long run. I am not sure, but still I liked it. They apolagized and worked things out in the end. I believe pros outweight cons, so I have fingers crossed for this one.

Lucas and Max: cringe honestly, we break up so many times but return to each other. It was really funny honestly, but I couldn't take it seriously. It wasn't their season in my opinion, mixed feelings about the relationship. Not much focus on this ship in my opinion.

Max and Eleven: many people started this ship as well, but I couldn't see it (yet?). In my opinion, it was a good transition from friends to best friends. I don't really see their relationship as romantic, but I wouldn't be too shocked it they developed it later on.

Mike and Eleven: just as Lucas and Max, cringe, but make it double. I didn't like their dynamic this season and what they have done to their relationship, it was a mess. The snowball was their peak in my opinion, and then they write this mess/bullshit. First, I disliked the idea that they ditched their friends so much, so they could only make-out. Also, where is the talk and the emotional scenes? It was really flat and boring, they screwed it in this part. Attached to each other like glue, making out, alright but nothing deep honestly... I was disappointed. Second, the "nana" situation and "I dump your ass" was a bit funny, but who the hell wrote these scenes? Why? It was a mess, a joke really. Half season later, things are looking good for them again, but the scenes could have been written better. In this season, I can say they love each other finally, like developed relationship (not a rushed mess in S1). I also, find it weird that their dynamic has changed: Eleven seems more invested and in love now, unlike Mike from S1 and S2. Mike's behaviour on the whole breaking up scene was weird and poorly written, I expected more and some grand apology. He just made faces half of the season haha. I expected so much from these scenes, but it was not romantic at all or emotional. He also never admitted to her he loved her later on, which was an opening problem for S4 and it was noticable. Especially in the end, the romantic scenes were there, Eleven's love was the greatest now, yet Mike's love has regressed in my opinion. It was cringe in the beginning, flat and disappointing in the end.

Mike and Will: many people had also started to ship this, but like Eleven and Max, I couldn't see it (yet?). From previous seasons, I loved their friendship dynamic and pictured it as best friends from the Party, the closest members in the Party. I was shocked about the shift of treatment to Will from everyone, like who were you all trying to save for two seasons haha? In this season, I have realized from the fight that Will could be gay with supporting evidence from previous seasons. Romantic feelings between Mike and Will, I didn't see much as romantic, just friendship. Considering that, the fight was an eye opening for me a bit, since it was too emotional unlike the rest of flat scenes before and after. I was honestly sure Mike would apologize to Eleven first and show outburst as much as he showed it to Will. The fight between them wasn't that surprising, it was just that Mike and Eleven's fight lacked all these elements. So based on this fight and obviously some deeper connection, I see from where are people hinting the romantic interest. I personally don't see any romance yet, but I can admit it gave a contrast I didn't expect. It left me a bit confused here, like there is something more.

S4 relationships (main motive - lies):

Lucas and Max: favorite couple this season and so far. S3 didn't do them justice, but the development and the feels in this one nailed it. I loved it so much. Perfection, so many emotions, tears. I have fingers crossed Max is found and they just progress their relationship in S5. If she dies for real, I would be really crushed. Number 1 ship.

Dustin and Suzie: still a side ship, but enjoyable and fitting.

Max and Eleven: many emotional scenes and beatiful. In my opinion, platonic and best friends vibes. Also, I think Lucas and Max is too much developed and fitting now to break apart again. But wouldn't be too shocked if it becomes romantic perhaps, it has potential on the scenes. Unlikely, but not crossed. I would enjoy this ship as well.

Robin and Vickie: one big, hell yes! Plot twist in the end hehe.

Steve and Nancy: didn't see this one coming honestly. Mixed feelings, confusing honestly. Steve was more open than ever, the best man to be. And Nancy wasn't disliking it also. It will depend how the relationship with Jonathon goes in my opinion. It is a weird situation from my perspective. Steve has a future vision with Nancy in it, Jonathon has a future vision without Nancy in it, yet Nancy has her own future vision unlike these both futures. So how this goes, I have no idea honestly. I don't have a preference, I will simply wait for development.

Jonathan and Nancy: distance did some damage to their relationship, plus Jonathan's future vision not involving her and hiding it from her. Also, not telling her the truth on so many occasions. It is a strained relationship, the differences caught up to them. I can't wait to see if it will be resolved and how. I can see the love and passion still, it is beautiful, but I don't know if it will be enough to keep a relationship for the future? I will have to wait and see, I don't know what will happen.

Hopper and Joyce: BIG YES, hyped all the way. Numer 2 relationship for me. I was really happy and satisfied with this one. So many emotions on screen, fighting for each other and protecting each other, well deserved. For this relationship, I want a wedding haha. No further comments. Beautiful.

Mike and Eleven: confusing and still not as it was in S2's peak. Keeps disappointing me. The fight was honestly funny to me, and I didn't understand Mike's problem. Something has changed/shifted in him between S2 and S3, his emotions are not there or strong anymore. It is all lies from him, from the beginning to the end. He is straining the relationship, and Eleven is obviously on it. I really hoped, the Pizzeria talk would solve the issue at first, but Mike got lost in the words again and they were interuppted. Second, the whole confession was done and written horribly in my opinion. It was suposed to be romantic, the highest emotional scene in season, but no. The confession was first so cringe and cliche, also half of Mike's sentences were lies and not what Eleven wanted to hear. Who says to his gf, you are my superhero as the peak of the confession when that was the major issue for her the whole season? Also he lied many times or simply told hep sappy cliche lines, "first sight love", "love you on your bad days" like that is not the truth and what she wants to hear. Also, Will, her brother and his triangle love interest, had to literally prompt him and remind him to confess. Like really? Expected much, was disappointed so much. This scene ruined their relationship for me a bit, since it had a chance to be grand, emotional and fix half of the problems, but nope, scene and the situation were horrible. Also, not even one scene or aftermath after this, no talking, yeah, I can see the relationship is still strained and needs to be addressed in S5. I don't know what will happen, but for this to be fixed, they need to put in so much effort and way better scenes. Comparing to the scenes from other relationships, this is not it. I truly disliked it this season so much. S2 ending was their peak for me, but this one was the worst so far.

Mike and Will: this season did confirm that Will is gay, which I was late in for a bit. Also, I realized there is a love triangle between the characters. I understood it the moment the painting showed up at the airport, and from there, it just kept on building. Will is in love with Mike (my reaction is same as Hopper's: really, Mike Wheeler?), but I believe in love with Mike from S1 and S2. That Mike is the person I have no doubt Will could have easily fallen in love with, S3 and S4 Mike is a mess, so love is definitely not from there. Mike's feelings for him are a bit complicated and a mess honestly. In this triangle, Mike is the problem and he is going to be a deciding factor. I am not sure how he feels, he is a mess. Ignoring and making a rift -> apolagasing, that is his momentum in S3 and S4 with Will. His scenes with Will were emotional and deep, [tender, emotional music] was playing, so there were definitely romantic tones underlined. I just don't know if he knows anything so far and if he feels anything more than friendship. He states obviously that he can't lose Will, be it a best friend or love interest. Yet he does have some feelings towards Eleven still. It is a confusing mess as I have said. His behaviour could be explained by confusion between his feelings for Will and Eleven, because obviously that is his root problem. He is confused, I am confused as well. It is truly weird, considering all the scenes and romantic music. The van scene was Will's hidden confession, no doubt. Yet the bedroom scene with Mike's confession for best friendship restoration, yeah, it was a bit more to it than I expected. Sounded more emotional than his speech to Eleven, more honest and deep. So I am in a dilemma, he can end up with both. Depends on him in S5. But now I can see the ship becoming possible as well, I wouldn't mind. Just they will also have to include a lot of time and development to fulfill it. It is likely, since including Will's love interest now would be really without a point in plot. It is weird as I have said.

Winter 2022 Anime Opinions

As always my thoughts because no one asked

From least to fav here are my overall thoughts:

Urusei Yatsura (2022)

I am just not the target audience for this. This is probably a nostalgia ridden show that people who watched the original will love and enjoy but I am not that person and with the two eps I watched I had enough. The jokes were not funny to me all characters were annoying and yeah the animation is nice but I will not put myself through something I will not enjoy for it tbh. Tonikaku Kawaii: SeifukU

I dislike tonikaku with a passion it gives go girl give us nothing to the negative 20 no flavor no taste still the same shiz as the show so yeah. Watch it if you liked the series lmao its more of the same

Shinobi no Ittoki

I guess…… Its really kinda bland and I can’t pinpoint why. The concept is interesting but it just doesn’t hold up in its execution and I dont care for it run sorry do better I guess

Fumetsu no Anata e 2nd Season

I try so hard to care, SO hard. Since season 1 I have found this show to be kinda…. All over. Like the only storyline I cared about was the one with the kid with the mask last season and since that its just been meh to me. Like, we already kinda know how everything is going to go and all the arcs are kinda the same, they show us someone, we care for them for like half an episode, they die, repeat.

Bocchi the Rock! 

I TRIES SO HARD TO CARE TOO I AM SO SORRY. This has been like the number 1 show this year but I… I dont know I just dont like it ASDFGHJ I am not a big fan of cute girls doing nothing specially mixed with the uwu social anxiety quirky. Like they dont paint it in a bad light like most shows do and the art style is very unique but I just dont… Give a shit adfgdhjf I tried I promise but hey if you are into this shows probs the one for you.

Mushikaburi-hime

This one is boring I am ngl. Its not bad but like… Its not good either. Ive seen this trope done SO many times its just boring. It hasn’t done anything bad per se but I just dont really care for it much. I like my romance with spicier ships so yeah I mean if you like cute royal same old same old couples then watch it.

Aru Asa Dummy Head Mic ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei

This is trash but it goes higher just because Its what it is and delivers just what I expected. The reincarnated person is annoying as fuck but the girls have cute dynamics so that's why it goes higher. Its just 3 minutes skits of the girls being cute so yeah its okay

Koukyuu no Karasu

I feel like this is a good show but I am just not the target for this adsfgh its a show you gotta pay attention to understand and a lot of history goes behind it and it just kinda bored me but I know its not bad. I just dont think its for me but that's okay I might keep watching it.

Eternal Boys 

Its okay. Its a nice concept and I have only watched like 3 eps but its a nice message I guess. Its short and whatever so it doesn't take much time to watch but its not something revolutionary. I like idol shows so maybe I am giving it more than what it is.

Mob Psycho

This is the one that gets me cancelled part 2 SKSKSK. I am not going to lie besties, I am not the biggest mob psyhco fan. Its okay, I just never got into the hyper around it sorry :(( I really wish I could because I know its a good story and I ddi like that last episode a lot but like,,,,, I feel like the story was over last season ASDFGH But hey I am glad y'all enjoyed it a lot!

Boku no Hero Academia 6th Season

I am ngl, I am like on ep 2 of bnha season 6 but have seen the Dabi scene like 20 times thanks to social media and I got no choice but to Stan. I dont like this arc of bnha as y'all know but it seems more interesting than last season and I like the way the animation direction is going so I will give them points for it.

Do It Yourself!! 

Lesbians your honor!!!! I like this one! Its cute girls doing silly lil stuff and I am not a big fan of the genre like I said but this one is more entertaining for me, maybe because I am more into DIY shit but its cute!! Nothing big happens tbh but its a soft watch to put in the background if y'all enjoy this

Romantic Killer

This was cute! A refreshing romcom from the ones weve gotten recently tbh. I liked it even though I have a different interpretation of the road they took it in the end but it was a fun show to watch with some nice gags and cute characters, defo give it a go!

Renai Flops

Okay hear me out. This one is in a weird place but hear me out. I hate everything this anime stands for because it was such a cliche weird and ecchi but it was such an interesting train wreck I HAD to keep on watching every episode and when I least expected it I was suddenly on ep 6 and the twist left me screAmiNG. It kinda goes downhill again after ep 7 but just because it took me so off guard (dont wanna spoil it but aloO) it goes high up, gg 1 for the ecchi trash 0 for Maria this round.

Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break

Ngl this season of yowapeda hasn't been as hyped as I hoped for me but I care so much about the characters I will place it high up SKSKSKSK its basically more of the same; I honestly miss the upperclassman a lot but its okay my babies appear like for .2 frames and I start sobbing

Akuyaku Reijou nano de Last Boss wo Kattemimashita 

okaY is this trash??? yes. Do I care??? nO. I LOVE MY SILLY LIL TROPES OKAY ITS FUNNY AND SILLY AND DUMB AND THEY ARE CUTE SO IT GOES UP OKAY I LIKE HAMEFURA WHAT DO YALL EXPECT FROM ME. still kinda trash but like, guilty pleasure trash.

4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku

THIS IS HOW YOU DO CUTE GIRLS (AND TSUKASA LY BESTIE) DOING CUTE STUFF IN A GOOD WAY. If you like Saiki K you'll like this show. I dont know how to explain it but it gives the energy from Saiki K and I loved it they are very important and relevant.

Spy x Family Part 2 

Its more of the same of part 1 y'all know spy x family its a good show I love them all I love when my families are found go stream it look at Bond and Anya being best family

Tiger & Bunny

The gays are back for more and better! Not my favorite season buT I still care about them all so much that I dont care SKSKSK go stream tiger & bunny I dont have much more to say

Do you love dumb people??? Me too! then this anime is for you ! Its silly short and goes to the point. It doesnt try to be something its not and I like my anime silly and dumb. If you are looking for something easy and silly watch this.

Blue Lock

Guys guys my favorite comfort soccer players are finally animated!!! Watch it. If y'all follow me y'all know I am annoying about blue lock. Its the only anime that has Bachira AND Reo imagine the odds!!! Its a great sports anime and the characters are great and I love it and its my comfort okay

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun 3rd Season

Lets all pretend for a second we are all surprised M!ik is number one woah Maria that is so weird your favorite manga animated as number one????? did not expect it that's wild. Anyways M!ik supremacy today tomorrow its the Lied arc and Iruma and that one episode were Iruma cries made me emo and I love it and I think you should all be super cool and interesting and go watch m!ik it would make us all a better society.

what is your Chinese takeout order? Well, potstickers always. If I could *be* a food, it would be a potsticker. But also, I live in southcoast MA where Chinese food is completely different from everywhere else- and superior I will fight you on that hill- and so this is more complex to answer. Chow mein here is made with what's called 'Fall River' noodles. They are made entirely for this area and are amazing. It's my favorite dish. I've lived all over the country and Chinese food elsewhere is just so shitty.

He also did a series on drawings made by by people suffering from severe mental health issues like paranoid schizophrenia that was really interesting.

what fanfic trope is a quiet fave? Ugh where do I start. I unapologetically love the Cinderella story where someone saves the other, or you find out later one is rich or a prince or whatever. I love hurt/comfort....like serious abuse where the other person helps the other recover and they fall in love. I love the 'pretending to be together for x reason but end up falling in love' trope. I also love the ABO 'oh no i've gone into heat! And my low key soulmate just happens to be here. Whatever will I do?!" trope.

do you carry a daily bag? what does it look like? what's the weirdest thing in it? Workbag with laptop. Probably just some errant tampons that somehow have come unwrapped.

if you had to ship Mickey with another Gallagher, who would it be? Lip for sure. I think Mickey would just wreck Lip. I love the episode where they go to shoot up the gentrified store together and Lip seems intimidated by Mickey. And Mickey was taking out all his anger for Ian on Lip. Mickey looked so hot. There was a slight sexual tension in that scene.

what is a fanfic trope you didn't expect to like and then very much did? Like @energievie said, Gallavich taught me the joys of AUs. I love so many of them. Also ABO. I got into ABO by accident with the Hannibal fandom, and those fuckers can seriously write. I found myself obsessed and now not a lot of sex scenes in regular fanfic can hold a candle to ABO most of the time. Regular fanfic was like weed and ABO was like heroin and now I'm addicted. I can't believe I'm into this but...it's hot.

Do you think s11 Mickey can still carry s11 Ian? Probably. He's pretty strong. It's just awkward because Ian is so tall. He'd find a way.
