Bingqiu AU where Luo Binghe's the chosen village sacrifice to the evil deity who lives up the mountain.
Normally the village sends maidens, but they've more or less run out of expendable girls of the right age and, ahem, "virtues". So of course Luo Binghe's early life bad luck kicks in. In the wake of his mother's death there's no one to really care about what happens to him, he's fairly pretty, and the village leaders decide that if they dress him up like a girl the teenaged homeless kid should pass well enough. And hey, y'know, he's probably got a hard life ahead for him anyway -- dying in a brothel of some venereal disease or on the streets of exposure or starvation. At least as a sacrifice, everyone else gets to benefit from his loss! And the kid will get added to a shrine and be remembered as a hero! If anything, he should be happy about this!
Binghe is not happy about this.
But he's also a skinny underfed nobody who is easily overpowered, dressed up like a bride, and tied to a post. So. Not much he can do but wait for the evil deity to come and do whatever horrible thing he's gonna do to him.
Meanwhile, Shen Yuan is pretty sure he's been isekai'd into the over-powered hero of some kind of supernatural adventure story? He's not totally sure because he doesn't recognize the setting, but the signs are there. He's got a shrine-like base of operations (though it seems to have become corrupted/ruined, probably he has to restore it somehow), he has a very resilient and handsome new body with spiritual energy of some kind flowing through him, and a very clearly magical sword. Plus lots of neat starter powers! Though it feels like he has other abilities that have been blocked somehow? Probably he has to level up in order to access them.
When he treks out of his "base" and finds what seems to be a distressed maiden, he takes it for his beginner hero mission. The girl claims that she's been doomed to be sacrificed to an evil god. That sounds a little above Shen Yuan's pay grade for dealing with, so he unties her and decides that they had better just get out of the whole region altogether. He already packed up anything useful from his base, anticipating he might get caught up in an adventure once he left, so they follow the river away from the settlement until they reach another one.
While they travel, Luo Binghe tells Shen Yuan about the cursed deity, Shen Qingqiu, who was cast out of the heavens for slaughtering one of his brethren and has apparently being do-who-knows what to maidens from the local village in exchange for his "protection" ever since. Sounds like a real asshole! And also mid-level boss type bad guy at least. Shen Yuan hopes he doesn't have to fight him, but he probably will.
Thank goodness he found Binghe, though! Clearly the helpful little sister type! He's definitely going to require her assistance if he's going to figure out how to navigate this world and level up his skills enough to take on a god.

random horny thought:
men that are shy tops who had never felt pleasure before until they met you, and are loud in bed when you both fuck in bed. they’ll be overcome in pleasure that when they talk during sex, it’ll be sweet or hot like “you feel so good!”, or it’ll be a lot of “oh fuck!”, or “oh god!”. they’ll be overwhelmed by how hot you look when you’re riding them, it makes their cock throb, and they’ll look at you with the sweetest look with pleasure in their eyes.
men that’ll be overwhelmed with pleasure just watching you moan so sweet, bouncing on their cock, and telling them how much you love them, or how good they make you feel, you’ll do it on purpose just to see their stupid lovestruck face. they’ll say your name when you make them feel good. you hold their head with your hands and stare at him because he’s so pretty, causing you to bounce faster and harder on their cock until they unload all of their cum inside of you.

I've always wondered why Sanemi made this statement. He could've said 'Why are you here?', 'What are you doing here?' and so on but he chooses to use the word 'spying'. It almost seems like Tanjiro (bestest boy ❤) walked in on something he wasn't supposed to see.
Unhinged theory: This wasn't just a normal spar or hashira training moment, this was a private conversation between Sanemi and Giyuu.
Let me explain:
We all know that Sanemi hates Giyuu's 'I'm not like you guys attitude' and it's also funny how he's the only one who addresses this and tries to get an explanation out of him. It's a way to show that he cares but his aggressive nature makes it seem commanding and angry.
So he goes (by his own volition, mind you!) to Giyuu's crib to talk to him. but how do the two emotionally-stunted men talk to each other? By fighting of course!
Even the fight itself seems more like a dance or a conversation rather than actual training, there's also the background music that mixes the themes of both guys.
This all culmulates to the final move which has Sanemi trying to break through and talk to Giyuu and Giyuu bless his heart unintentionally keeping up his barriers.
Another point that shows how it's more than a friendly hashira training session is the fact that Sanemi suggests that they brawl it out. There's nothing that will come out of this training-wise and it seems like it's just an excuse to get some kind of reaction out of Giyuu.
Then Tanjiro (bestest boy ❤) interrupts their conversation so Sanemi gets pissed. He even rants about it hours later!
Look at his dude, like why so angry my guy? 😂
It got me thinking, what would have happened if Tanjiro (bestest boy ❤) hadn't interrupted?

“friend,” sun’s voice echoes across the daycare, cool and swift like the blade of a dagger cutting through the wind.
you look over to him with an eyebrow raised, a bundle of crayons gripped in your hand from where you’d been tidying up the arts tables. sun’s staring right at you, hands clutched together in front of his thin waist. the nearly iridescent glow of his eyes holds your own in an unreadable gaze.
“…yeah?” you ask after a short moment, curious at this sudden… stillness. maybe even wary.
he tilts his head at you, a sharp click sounding through the air. then, after a beat, his optics narrow and he lifts a hand to quirk two fingers at you. “come here.”
you’ve never heard him sound this way—stern, almost. calculatingly calm. in fact, it jars you so much that you find yourself immediately obeying. the crayons get dropped into their designated bucket. and then you’re slowly making your way closer to him. pit pat pit pat, goes your steps. closer and ever closer until you’re standing right before him—tilting your head back to properly look up at a face of stagnant metal and silicon.
you're not sure what's going through that artificial brain of his. you can only stare at him, his head directly in line with one of the lights above in a way that makes the edges of his rays glow. a halo, almost. but not quite—not quite fitting, actually.
he seems to appraise you, in a sense. those two fingers he had used to beckon you closer lift up to gently touch your chin. silent. contemplative. you wait expectantly, watching him look at you. observe you. it makes something crawl under your skin.
after a terse moment, he speaks again, withdrawing his hand. his head tilts slightly in a small gesture towards the back of the daycare. "go grab the cleaning supplies from the closet."
your face must be confused, you think, feeling it twist slightly. but you nod and step away from him so you can trot over to grab the little cart he keeps in the daycare closet.
it's quiet.
it's quiet, you realize, as you roll the cart's squeaky wheels across the tiling and mats of the floor. it's quiet when it should not be quiet. you hear yourself swallow. what is going on right now?
you bring the cart to sun, who's still standing in the same position you had left him in. still and silent as a statue. as a robot. the only thing that had moved, really, was his head—spinning and rotating to track you as you grabbed the cart. still indecipherable.
you want to ask him why he's behaving this way—so odd, so unlike him—but you don't get the chance.
sun speaks up just as you come to a stop in front of him. "go clean the toys."
you give him a look. but when he offers you no reaction other than another tilt of his head, you decide to grab the wipes and do as you're told. and once you finish that, sun tells you to toss all the balls back in the ball pit. then finish cleaning the arts tables.
all the while he stays in that same position. watching you with those pinprick white eyes and odd stillness that you are not used to coming from him. you want to question him—but then you see his carefully crafted, blank face and just decide that maybe he is having an off day. maybe you're being tested right now. maybe the higher ups at fazco were deciding whether or not to fire you so they ordered sun to do an impromptu evaluation.
either way, you keep your mouth shut, only tossing sun minor confused glances in between sanitizing toys and restocking boxes. and it's not until the daycare is clean and you're once again standing before him—appraising him appraising you—that you decide to speak up. there are goosebumps all over your body.
"what was that all about?" you ask with a small frown, arms crossed over your chest.
sun takes a moment to reply—still staring down at you. still utterly motionless. you wait patiently, trying not to let his version of sun get to you.
and then it's like life gets breathed back into him. abrupt and sudden. he starts swaying side to side in his usual manner, his arms clasping behind his back as his eyes upturn into crescents. you are more than just a little bit stupefied, especially when the daycare's background music starts playing from the speakers again. as though it had never been silent in the first place.
"hm?" he asks cheerfully, cocking his head to the side again. "what was what all about?"
your jaw nearly drops open. "you know exactly what i'm talking about!" you reply indignantly, your arms moving to wave about the daycare widely. "what was all of that just now??"
sun hums again, unperturbed. "oh! that?" he brings a hand up to tap at the bottom of his faceplate. tink tink tink. "well i suppose you could call that an experiment of sorts!"
"an... experiment," you repeat slowly. what the hell? "what are you talking about?"
"i am not quite sure you want the answer to that, friend," is sun's cryptic answer. you're starting to get a bit frustrated here.
"i think i can handle it," you state dryly, resisting the urge to roll your eyes.
sun's smile stretches wider. "well! if you must know, it was something i have wanted to test for a while!" his rays twitch slightly. "a silly thing, really. one i could not have done without you, so thank you, really."
you squint at him—his smiling face, his crescent eyes. "and this thing was...?"
sun's eyes squint so much they're nearly closed. he leans down closer to you, your face cast in his shadow. you can feel your heart drop to the soles of your feet. the shiver that rattles down your spine. and you come to the conclusion that you do not like this version of sun.
"obedience," he eventually whispers like it's a raw secret meant for you alone.
and in the face of sun and his ever static smile, you swear his teeth look more like knives.
