"If Laurent moved back even a half-inch, he’d bump the shutter. To prevent this, he was plastered so tightly against Damen that Damen could feel every crease in the fabric of his garments, through which, the warm, transmitted heat of his body.
‘There’s no one here,’ said Volo."

in my mind ambrosius and bal didn't get back together right away. they had this very awkward phase where I just know ambrosius fought TOOTH AND NAIL to get bal back, begging to get another chance in the most pathetic manner through drunken texts and lousy serenades, I know he got ghosted thirty different times, I know he cried about it to the entire Order, I know bal made hundreds of arm jokes to make him feel bad, I know the whole city was keeping up with the tea, I know the Spirit of Nimona herself was feeling the vibrations of the gay drama through the cosmos

maybe my source is Eddie making one [1] reference to a book in his short-lived life on the show, but I wholeheartedly believe he's a bookworm.
He'd be on a first-name basis with each employee at the Hawkins town and the school library, whether they liked it or not.
'Looking good, Janice,' he'd wink and finger-gun at the little old lady behind the main counter, who would just scold him for being too loud, but would still blush a little behind her glasses when Eddie makes his way into the next room at the boy's sweet words.
He would sometimes spent his entire free days in there, roaming the aisles, and reading in a little quier corner on the ground until he finished the book.
He'd have the entire fantasy section memorised at this point, if not the rest of the place.
His personal book collection at home wouldn't be as big as he would have liked, mostly consisting of cheap paperbacks and pulp fiction novels, but there would also be some hardcovers of his favourite books that he'd save up for.
He would be careful with them, but most of them he'd read so many times back-to-back that they'd be hanging on by a thread.
And he'd be the most paranoid and annoying person to exist if you asked to borrow a copy.
First of all, he'd give it to you wrapped and taped up in baking paper. "just in case." And every time he'd see you, he'd ask what you think of the book, how far along you are in it, and god forbid you read it in front of him. The boy would just be staring at you, unashamed, either looking for any kind of microexpression to figure out what part of the book you're at, or to inspect the state of the book itself.

'Teenager' by My Chemical Romance is about 2013 Marc Marquez.
"Teenager scare the living shit out of me" - the whole grid when they saw a 19 year old on the podium in his first race and they knew it'd be a LONG season.
