Stark Party (Loki x Trans!Male!Reader)

A/N: Here we got some Loki x Trans!Male!Reader content. Enjoy!

“Y/n, are you in there?” I hear Natasha’s voice from outside my bathroom. I hesitate a bit as I walk out of the shower.

“Yes! I just finished bathing. I'll be out in a second.” I quickly dry myself and put on the clothes I had taken with me into the bathroom, which is a long sleeved white shirt and a pair of black cargo pants. 

As I walk out of the bathroom still drying my hair I see Natasha standing in a beautiful maroon dress all done for the party Tony is having. 

“Looks like you're trying to impress someone?” I say with a smirk knowing the feelings Natasha has had for Maria the last half a year. She blushes a little looking down before stretching out her arm in the direction of my closet suggesting that I should find an outfit and take it on. I walk in the direction of the closet trying to decide in my head what colors I was going for.

As I walk into my walk-in closet I look around at the clothes trying to decide what it was gonna be this time. I think back to the first party with the Avengers. I had chosen to wear a suit mostly dark green and black, Loki’s colors. It was not even thought through but I had liked the extra attention and compliments from Loki when it came to my outfit and the color scheme.

Snapping out of my thoughts I decide that I’ll go for the dark green theme again, maybe even taking on some gold as well. Taking on the chosen green casual suit set I look in the mirror walking out of the closet to Natasha refreshening her red lipstick.

She looks at me in the mirror, her eyes lighting up when she sees me. She turns around quickly, being done with the lipstick. Smirking, she says, “Well I’m not the only one that’s onto something.” I blush and look down, knowing exactly what she’s talking about. 

She grabs a hold of my arm pulling me in the direction of the makeup-station she had created while I was changing clothes. Natasha starts applying makeup on my face.

I never have had a good relationship with makeup as it makes me dysphoric quite easily and also brings back traumas from my hyper feminizing eras. Don’t get me wrong I love makeup and dresses and all that stuff but it is not just make up or dresses in the eyes of trans people. At least not while feeling masculine. It holds much more trauma than I wish it did because when I look at Loki rocking eyeliner in a masc way I will try eyeliner myself but looking at the reflection I will just be seeing the girl I have tried hard to get out of my life.

“And~ done!” I nervously open my eyes looking at the reflection afraid I might look at the girl I hate but I look at my reflection and for the first time in so long I feel comfortable with makeup on. The sight is a lot to me and I sigh in relief of the handsome boy staring back.

Natasha noticed my sudden change in body language and smiled knowing she did a good job. I stare at the reflection not wanting to look away and just take in every inch of the boy staring back. I force my eyes to look up at Nat.

“Thanks… I should have asked you to do my make up long ago!” I say smiling, catching myself starting to tear up. Nat just nods slowly with a smile upon her lips. I turn around in the chair standing up readying myself mentally for the party.

“Would you be a gentleman and lead me to the party?” Nat asks with a smirk tilting her head slightly to the side. Gentleman. I smile and take her arm in mine walking out of my room and down the long hallway in the direction of the elevator. 

When we reach the elevator it stops at our floor. As the elevator doors open it reveals Sam and Bucky standing talking probably on the way to find Steve. Walking into the elevator both Sam and Bucky check Nat out Sam of course being the most obvious. 

“Looking good widow.” Sam says with a grin forming on his face as he walks out. Bucky smiles at me on his way out and I smile back awkwardly.

“You look good too buddy.” Bucky says squishing my shoulder.

When the elevator door closes my smile falters a little just for a second but Nat sees it anyway. She smiles at me reassuringly and the elevator goes down.

~Time skip~

On the way to the party after Nat and I got out the elevator we ran into a whole bunch of people. First off we found Thor which really is not hard when he is at least 6’4 and talks very loudly. Then Coulson, Barton and… Fury, which had me questioning a lot. I also spotted Elon Musk over in the corner together with some business people. Then we met Maria and that was when Nat departed from me. I am now sitting alone on one of the bars chairs drinking my well deserved drink. 

This party has already been a total flop for me. Well besides from the acknowledging nod from Loki at the beginning of the party. People have either been ignoring me which I am fine with most of the time but not when it’s my friends, or I have been misgendered. I don’t find myself that feminine. I shouldn’t have put on the make up anyways.

Sitting deep in thought, I don't even realize when Loki takes the seat next to me.

"Hello, Y/n," he says with a small smile.

I turn to him, surprised. "Oh, hi Loki," I say, trying to hide my shock.

"I see you've gone for a green theme tonight," he says, gesturing towards my outfit.

I nod. "Yeah, I guess I have."

Loki leans in a bit closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "You know, green is the color of envy."

I raise an eyebrow, not sure where he's going with this. That was definitely not the comment I had thought of when I went with the colors.

"Envy is a powerful emotion, Y/n," he continues, "It can drive a person to do great things, or it can consume them entirely."

I nod slowly, not sure where this is going.

"You seem to be struggling with something," Loki says, his eyes searching mine. "Is it the makeup?"

I hesitate before nodding. "Yeah, I guess it is."

Loki nods understandingly. "I know how that feels. But you should know that makeup doesn't define who you are. You are so much more than just your appearance."

I look at him, surprised by his words. I never thought I would find myself seeking advice from the god of mischief.

Loki continues. "It's okay to experiment and explore different aspects of yourself. But don't let it define you. You are more than just your gender identity."

I nod slowly, taking in his words. "Thank you, Loki. I needed to hear that."

Loki smiles at me before standing up. "I have to go find Thor now. But remember what I said, Y/n. You are more than just your appearance."

As he walks away, I can't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards him. I take another sip of my drink, feeling a bit better. Maybe this party won't be such a flop after all.

My worst fear is knowing the most likely scenario of MCU for making up for Winderwidow is pairing or hinting Bucky w/ Yelena…🤢 for Thunderbolts film.

This will most likely turn into a ted talk but here I go, sorry in advance lmao.

Honestly I long ago lost all hope for WinterWidow in the current state of the MCU because there have been countless opportunities to do something about it and they have done nothing even there being so many hints that everything was connected (pushing the narrative that WS was a hydra project when everything screams Soviet will never sit well with me). It's as if they were purposely making Nat and Bucky avoid each other and thus also the Black Widow Ops program and the Winter Soldier Program. Even in the What if of 1602, where the only thing they take from the comic book is the year and little things, Nat is nowhere to be seen but Bucky does? 🙄

If the MCU wants to be consistent or at least tries to be, they should stick with things as they are. If they think lightly that Nat is replaceable by Yelena I think a large amount of people will be upset, those people who want to see her in a relationship with Kate, those who want to respect that she is aroace in the comics (I'm pretty sure she denied being a lesbian in Pale Little Spider and has never been showing interest in a romantic relationship afaik) and us BuckyNats who want to see our ship even if it's in the past or if it's not Nat then with no one, so I don't think they are going to do that wrong version of WinterWidow, it would be like shooting themselves in the foot, no one would be happy. Also they want to show more representation in their projects lately so... 🤷‍♀️

My worst case scenario is that in the What If where Winter Soldier and Red Guardian will be, they show Nat as a child 🤢🤮.

I HAVE NOT BEEN THROUGH HELL making many MCU stans understand that in the comics Nat was born in 1928, that she and Bucky met in their late 20s and that it was in no way an abusive relationship and p*edo, as to come that chapter and have many of the MCU onlies take it as "canon" and make themselves more annoying than they already are 🙄

Regarding Yelena and Bucky, I'd like to see a friendship/sibling relationship, it would be interesting to see Bucky deal with young people from the current era tbh

Hi please don't see this as confrontational or offensive, I am just curious. I wanted to ask you How do you feel about your ship being controversial or questionable? Considering the large age gaps (perso I am weirded by large age gaps but if it is between 2consenting adults I might overlook it). People even consider Wanda a teenager (15-16) in AOU, you probably saw a lot of fanfics about Natasha adopting her, also it even gets more questionable if your Natasha's age is comics compliant.

People tend to overthrow reality's moral bonds because it's FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, I can excuse the grossest nastiest kinks & things look like because at least consent but seriously thorki, starker (Peter/Tony)🤮🤮🤮what the actual fuck?

i go with mcu ages. wandavision confirmed wanda to be born in 1989. black widow confirmed nat to be born in 1984. sooo no age gap really, five years is reasonable, especially since that puts wanda at 25. (don’t get me started on age gaps when the younger person is barely 18 years old at the start of the relationship.)

i would never ship two characters where one is a minor. personally, i don’t even support shipping two teens together (like peter and mj at their beginning of the mcu) cause i think it’s a slippery slope for a lot of people to end up writing smut for teenagers. that’s a hard no.

i don’t compromise my own morals to write. ever.

i also have never seen a fic/account that has the perspective of natasha adopting wanda, but maybe that was more of a thing in AoU era?

anyway, not offensive (little weird). but yeah. hope that clears things up.

Kidding, albeit I am very grateful for everyone who takes the time out to comment, even if it's just a string of emojis or something! But I am eternally grateful for long, detailed comments and especially love when people point the things that they related to in my work or things that clicked for them (particularly the ones I thought might be overlooked or alternatively, too heavy-handed to land) or even line up certain things or parallels that didn't fully register to me while I was writing except as a vague ~vibe~. I just appreciate it a whole lot, and it makes the whole exchange feel like a conversation. ❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

Hm, I don't know - I don't think I have one specific dream theme/plot. That said I have been thinking a lot about Red Room/Department X plotlines recently. I really love the throughline of the struggle for identity + shifting ideologies/definitions of what it means to be a good person + autonomy & free will vs. wanting to belong dichotomy in those stories. Especially when it's grounded in interesting dynamics that aren't very black and white (i.e. Nat and the other widows, the handlers, the WS.) That era is also just very interesting to me in terms of real world circumstances and events, and the scifi potential to explore trauma and psychological fuckery in general is endless. So I guess I'd really love something that deals with Natasha's memories as a child + teen in the war and how that shaped her both before the Red Room even got their hands on her, as well as during and after; how she became this kind of mercurial person who is still (maybe surprisingly so) solid at her core. Something a la Name of the Rose, if you've read that run.

As for who I'd like to write it, I am in fact attempting to write something to that effect into my current post-CATWS wip, so I guess me? Not to say I wouldn't love to read something similar by someone else - there have been several fics out there that dealt with Natasha in a way that had me staring into empty space for an hour (in a good way) - just that I enjoy the process of developing ideas like that in my head differently than I do reading about them from another angle, if that makes sense!

🥤 ⇢ recommend an author or fanfic you love Oh, god. GOD. This is so tough, I'm really blanking right now. I've been around for a loong while lol and there are so, so many insane, brilliant ones. It doesn't help that I really haven't read that many in the last few years as much as I've been writing them.

Off the top of my head though, I recently went back to Speranza's All the Angels and the Saints. One of the all-time old school Cap greats. All of their stuff is just wonderful, foundational Steve, Bucky & SteveAndBucky content. Also everything by magdaliny. I don't even know what to say there, except maybe goddamn.

So We Meet Again

Here it finally is! Sorry anon that it took a while, school and work was keeping me busy this week! I kinda left it open-ended in case you wanted me to make a longer fic :D

I lay my head against Nat’s grave letting the tear fall freely, it had been 5 years since Nat and Yelena freed me from that horrible place, the red room. 5 years since i had lost and gained Yelena back and only 3 months since Nat died, I lost one sister while the other grieved and drew into herself and left me alone once more. 

Without anyone left in my corner I set out to find the only constance in my life during my time in the red room, James. I learned of his name in a passing moment be had in Cairo, almost a decade and a half ago, even if he doesnt remember me. 

I kiss her head stone and clean it of debris before i head back to the road and get into my car, last i had heard after he came back, he began living in Brooklyn, NY. 

During my time in the red room we were taught to never show emotion, but since i was freed ive realized how emotional i truly am, stunted some would say, dumb others if they would fine out that a tough widow had developed feelings for a fell assassin.  

I arrive in Brooklyn and begin my search, recon being my specialty it wasnt hard to find him. Some may call it stalking i call it waiting to gain the courage to talk to the man who made me feel whole, the man I loved.

Luckily for me, it was James who had approached me 1 week after i had arrived in brooklyn. I was sitting alone in a small cafe when he entered, i looked up and we made eye contact. His eyes widened and a small smile appears on my face until i see his face of surprise turn into one anger. He comes storming towards me with anger, regret and something else in his beautiful baby blue eyes. 

“What the fuck are you doing here, who sent you” he growled and grabbed my throat, luckily we were in the back of the cafe tucked away in the corner so there was no one who would notice the beautiful man with his metal are wrapped around my throat.  

"J-james listen to me, Nat and Yelena freed me from Dreykov's hold" his hand soften against my throat as realization crosses his eyes. 

"Y/n, that's really you then? In there finally?" 

"YES James it's really me," I say as tears well in my eyes, "it's truly me"  

He wrapped me into such a strong hug and I knew I was finally home.

😁 Magda and her wifey are also both playing for Bayern, so we got an amazing team. Georgia is our own personal bodyguard, attacker and sweetheart in one. I actually laughed out loud when Megan missed her last penalty shot in her last game ever. Serves her right. The Olympics will be amazing, even though only 2 teams from Netherlands, Germany and Spain will make it, which is honestly a criminal offense. They all deserve to take part.

Okay woah. That sure IS a controversial take. A curly red bob that perfectly frames her beautiful face and sharp jawline is the worst?? Excuuuuuseeee me! Nat could be bald and she'd still be gorgeous! Apologize right now 😤

I absolutely admire Magda and Pernille, they are so cute together. I saw a tiktok of the Bayern team doing an initiation performance of ABBA, but nothing will be able to top Georgia’s initiation performance of ‘Sweet Caroline.’

If Megan Rapinoe has no haters, I’m dead; I’m so glad that she missed her last penalty shot as well. Spain is definitely going to make it through, they are insanely good for no reason. Like how have their players won the Ballon D’or three years in a row? 😭 Whichever team beats the USA has my support as well. also, my best friend and I have decided to cheer for Germany

It’s the bob that ruins it for me 😭 nothing can top her hair in Black Widow, Civil War, or Winter Soldier. And I apologize, don’t hate me!!

These are some tough questions!! But I think my overall favorite moment from 2023 was going to the Eras Tour!! And overall 2023 has been fairly nice, even if it did take away 9 months from my favorite footballers: Leah, Viv and Beth. How has your 2023 been for you love?

😎 I am feeling much better from the headache that I had last night and yay our fingers are healing well!!!!! Just make sure not to press anything too hard Vulture 😉.

I was talking about how journaling for Nat was very healing for her inner child but let’s talk about Wolvie for a second. She didn’t have much of a childhood herself. She was rise to be a high society lady, wife and mother( as birthing children and then teaching them how to be high society ladies if they were daughters). Not to mention she didn’t get a lot of attention or send a lot of time with her parents, for John it was because He was a business man and was quite busy maintaining that as well as always gathering contacts. It was also because the wealthy didn’t look after nor rise their children but if it was different then He would. As is John sent as much time and attention as he could for a wealthy man of that age but he did love and doted on his daughter. For Elizabeth it was quite different, she was cold and distant towards R ( Jane at the time ) as Elizabeth never told her that Elizabeth loved or even liked R ( it was every much a Tony Stark and Howard Stark situation , both saw their own respective parent as very cold and very calculating . Both parents could be charismatic working up a crowd and gathering/ maintaining connections) . The only real attention Elizabeth paid to her daughter was teaching her how to be a high society lady , to marry for money , etc. The Howlett estate was isolated and there were no other children to play with and the only children she interacted with were the children of her father’s business partners /  potential business partners or the high society parties . Not to mention she was a sickly and fragile child, so she couldn’t do much playing. THEN if that wasn’t ENOUGH her mutation hit between the ages between 10 and 13 ( you can pick the actual age R’s mutation actually hits Vulture. But these are the canon age ranges I believe that movie’s wolverine hits, I believe it’s 13 for comic Wolverine) then was forced onto the run surviving anyway she could. 

I love to think that watching Disney movies or other such children movies is very important in healing her inner child ( especially since the older Disney movies were based on the fairytales that she read about and loved as a child in her Grimm Brothers Fairytales book she had gotten from her parents * cough her papa John cough * for her birthday and or Christmas) . R being with and tending to kids also does wonders for healing her inner child even if she doesn’t realize it, not to mention being the mother/ parent figure she NEVER had but DESPERATELY NEEDED as a child . R has always concerned her self with giving a good childhood to actual children and healing the inner child in other people rather than her self . And Vulture you mentioned not knowing how R would react to Nat  surprising her with a Trip to Disney land ….. well she would be shocked, surprised and grumbly because “ This is wayyyyy toooo much!!!!!”and “ I DON’T deserve all of THIS !!!!!” but as soon as she settles in she is like a big kid in a candy store running around seeing EVERYTHING and all of her FAVORITE CHARACTERS from her favorite movies . She would end up hugging Nat and crying thanking her for this and saying she never thought she would get this ….. this kid  experience and unbridled joy. I also can’t help but wonder how Nat would react to Disney movies because as seen in the Agent Carter series/ the opening of The Black Widow the RR uses old Disney movies and old American cartoons ( we only see them use Snow White and we don’t know how far the RR goes down the collection of Disney movies but we do know that Nat herself was in the RR in the 1990s with a three year break with the Ohio Mission but the 1990s was the GOLDEN ERA of Disney movies) to both teach the girls English and to brainwash them. Meaning any RR Black widow would have a visceral reaction to these movies / cartoons. I am seeing R watching Disney movies ( alone or with others , possibly Rouge and or the little ones of the school) and Nat comes in to which R pauses or shuts off the movie soooo fast or blocking it from Nat as much as R could and trying to get Nat far away from the movie because R knows what the RR did to the widows with Disney movies and cartoons but doesn’t know which movies and cartoons or how far it goes. That leaves me with this which Disney movies / American cartoons do you think Vulture did the RR use ( specifically while Nat was training and as a kid there because I highly doubt that Nat has to watch them / be brainwashed by them now ) now and how far down the collection did they go?

I am on my period at the moment and that sparked a couple of ideas for both the DK and SB AUs . But first did DK Nat “graduate” from the RR and go through the “ graduation ceremony” before she escaped the RR ?It doesn’t have any baring in these thoughts at the moment but I just wanted to know for future reference. First of all SB would be sooo attentive and just great at taking care of Sergeant Romanoff on her period going all out when in private. Flowers, chocolate, snacks and fully  stocked with all the feminine hygiene products and heating pads/water bottles . And last but not least fully stocked on pain medication , the golden retriever would also have a app or something to track both their sister’s and Nat’s ( because they learned how to take care of someone on their period from doing so growing up with their sister. And even if their sister is married they still take care of her and still stock up for her ) periods so they have everything they need. Later on when they meet and get close to Yelena ( and by extension Kate ) they would do the same thing for Yelena ( *cough and Kate cough* ) if she were to live close by when not on duty/ deployment. Nat wouldn’t admit it but she loves this treatment and especially loves it  extends to her little sister . In public at work SB sneak in chocolates / coffee and covertly makes sure Sergeant Romanoff has everything she needs( feminine hygiene products, extra  clothes, hot bottle/ heating pad) . At one point Nat finds out that the OG Wolverine that SB is named after was the inventor of pads ( Maybe someone was making of SB’s name ) or maybe she already knows this ( from history class or something)but finds out that SB was specifically named after the OG Wolverine ( from the sister/ SB themselves or someone making fun of that fact of them being named after the inventor of pads )But I really want to know how she would handle someone making fun of HER BEEF but can’t do anything too obvious or official because the relationship is being kept secret. Either way I have already said that it has never bothered SB that is how they got their name and has always been proud of their name sake but the same can’t be said about Nat being unbothered at the fact that people making fun of or being rude/ mean to her beef .

In the DK universe I have said that R definitely stocked up with enough supplies while on the three day run for both Nat and Wolvie because Wolverine R still gets her period( has been for nearly two centuries and will continue to do so) but she isn’t sure if Nat does. How she made sure that she shown Nat the supplies so if it is needed Nat could grab some and have it without talking about it, if Nat doesn’t then she will still let Nat have some of the chocolate and snacks but they don’t have to say anything about the it ( avoid talking about the “graduation ceremony” all together but R does KNOW what it is and what is done to a widow when they “graduate” from the RR . I have also talked about the fact that pain medication wouldn’t work for R so she would crave up trees with her claws and yell for pain relieve ( how that inspired ✨ Cryptid ✨ War !Wolvie) . R would be very good and attentive to everyone who haves periods in her life and whom she cares about ( if she doesn’t like you you are pretty much on your own 😂😂😂but if you really NEED help she will but she wouldn’t be tender or gentle) that includes friends, lovers, daughter / child figures or people under her watch. But what about R ….. who watches out for her whilst she’s in her monthly hell of pain and bleeding ( I have really bad clamps on my periods and I am thinking that Wolverine R is the same way.) . So imagine that R’s period rolls around and the clamps hit HARD and She is clutching her stomach, Nat watches on with Jean and she asks Jean what is up with R ( Nat was talking about/ asking her about mutation and when that hits and everything, I will expand on this thought later) Jean telling her that along with R’s mutation with the claws/ super heighten senses and her long life but looking young her healing factor means EVERYTHING is  regenerated ……. And Jean does mean everything Including all the eggs in R’s body that she losses from periods every month . R has as many eggs as she did when her body physically stopped aging or has as many as when she was born. Meaning R has had periods for nearly two centuries and will continue to do so , she has seen the evolution of feminine hygiene products first hand and * Jean says with a smirk * every single period having persons have R to thank for the invention of pads as we know them during her time being a nurse in WWI ( this was one of the memories that R bits and pieces of this time and of Esther Hudson. R knows that she made the realization and shouted for Esther to come see it) . She tells Nat that for R it takes an  extreme amount of alcohol or extremely strong alcohol to even get her intoxicated and needs a constant supply to keep her drunk because it wears off quickly . Meaning painkillers or any type of drugs/ medications are absolutely useless to her . She has to go through all that pain every month for eternity without anything to stop it. Nat thinks about the supplies that R got and shows her ( Jean sees the Memory and smiles) Jean says that R ever the thoughtful person wanted to make sure she has everything that you needed if you are still ….. affected by the monthly cycle and didn’t have to worry about discussing it because * Jean clears her throat after she pauses hesitating saying this next * ….. R KNOWS WHAT the RR DOES for “ graduation” and she knows what the RR “ graduation ceremony” IS , R doesn’t want to cause you any discomfort or pain so she did what she did so you take what you need or want without discussing anything. Also R can always tell when someone is on their period because she can literally smell all the blood on them.

I wonder if sickly little Wolvie!R was ever nervous about her future (pre-mutation). Like, did she feel her life was already being written by her parents' (mostly mother's) expectations and wanted to break free? Or maybe she was just too young to really understand any of that at the time?

Nat taking R to Disneyland and R pretending she is NOT having a good time at first because she's so embarrassed someone has gone out of their way to give her a good time, and then eventually being so happy and running around so fast even Nat cannot keep up. :)

I wonder if Nat's "brainwashing" of Disney movies can be undone? I hate to think that she would miss out on something that brings R so much joy because of her background, but I guess that's what happens when you get inducted into the Red Room. Perhaps Nat would prefer the newer Disney movies (like Toy Story, Zootopia, etc.), and R is happy to compromise with her on watching those.

In the Darkest Knight AU, I don't think Nat went through the "graduation ceremony" yet because she escaped too early. Although I imagine she was right about there, but escaped just in time. So she would get periods (assuming she wasn't stressed to hell).

Sergeant Beef wouldn't even understand periods all that well, but they are a golden retriever and would be happy to supply for any and all needs that arise with Nat. I don't think would ever take too kindly to someone being mean to her beef, but she would strike back in more subtle ways.

I love the idea that Nat takes care of Wolvie!R on her period (although I'm not sure how willing Nat would be to include Jean in). And to be fair, no one really likes Scott so Nat is not alone there lol.

Since you gave me the blackwidow jihyo disease I thought I'd share the little findings I've had with you hkhkh the mohyonator in me is still trying to connect the dots cause I'm genuinely so clueless about marvel lore hkhjg but I THINK a hawkeye/blackwidow dynamic could work with jeonghyo? Old friends with a back and forth and loads of sexual tension? Maybe they're exes? Or they have a complicated on and off?

OH YES I AM SEATED FOR THE JEONGHYO. no but just like you i know nothing about the lore (i mean i did watch black widow just recently so there is that, but there's nothing about clint in the movie) so i might do a research, but i just think jihyo would look hot in that bodysuit and of course she'd have to have that red hair from icsm era...

not only the bodysuit is appealing but the whole black widow concept of her existence having no other meaning than to being a weapon is relatively hot, but it could add more to the angsty side, like how jihyo doesn't want to have feelings for hawkeye!jeongyeon because she doesn't deserve it/she doesn't know how to love someone, whereas jeongyeon is very transparent about what she feels

our black widow jihyo was made to be an assassin and she only knows how to live like that, because for most of her life she's had people trying to kill her and she has killed people in return, so she doesn't think there's really any space in her life for love. and i think jeongyeon wouldn't just want love, but she'd also want kids and white fences, which jihyo simply can't give her... quite literally, because she can't have kids of her own.

but yes they fuck nonetheless because oh well. frequently. and they work together.

1. Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch - She’s technically a villain now, but Wanda Maximoff was my first fav. She’s the reason I got into the MCU fandom and she’s the reason I’ve stuck around for so long (WandaVision!!!)! Wanda’s just really interesting to think about! I love love love her story (tragedies and all). Plus, she’s a witch and I absolutely adore her new Scarlet Witch costumes. Also, her nose scrunch. She’s the most powerful Avenger <3

2. Peggy Carter - Peggy is my one true beloved in the MCU. The only reason she’s second is because of Wanda haha. Agent Carter is probably my second favourite tv show ever (it cant beat Doctor Who, I’m afraid) but just the sheer badassery and stubborn brilliance on display is perfect. I love the spy side of the MCU and Peggy hits that period era drama on the fucking head. She’s small and angry and can kick butt. I love her. She’s also played by one of my fav actresses, Hayley Atwell, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’m gay for this woman.

3. Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow - Same reasons as why I love Peggy, but modern era! Nat is sassy and knows how to get her hands dirty. I love her interactions with all the other Avengers (canon and fanon) and she’s just got the heart to carry the early MCU to its golden era. Truly the glue that kept the gang together. Rest in peace, my love, you did everything you could

4. Yelena Belova - silly goofy assassin go brrrrrr. I love Yelena, she just radiates chaotic younger sibling vibes. She’s insane and a child and I love her it. She loves her sister and she will make aggressive small talk while trying to fight you. Truly, the most gremlin of the MCU women <3

5. Kate Bishop/Hawkeye - Y’all Kate is such a dumb bitch. She’s so stupid. She’s so goofy. I love her. She has three braincells and a dog. Kate is perfect.
