It's so odd being non-binary and identifying as heterosexual because people are so shit about it lol. People sort of expect you to be gay or bi or ace when you're nonbinary but no, I really identify with nb heterosexuality. I go about my day to day as an out and about lesbian but tbh, with the way I want to present and carry myself in the future, I think I'm probably straight. That should just be okay I think. Are there any other nbhets out there? Idk haha

yup, there's this weird idea that if you're nonbinary, you must be attracted to other nonbinary people and/or that you cannot be monospec. enben can have any orientation that men and women can have.

I'm nbhet and it's such an experience to be perceived as both straight and gay at the same time, even though I am just straight. Most enben don't consider themselves straight so I tend to feel like an outlier lol

Just because enben are more likely to identify as gay than straight, doesn't mean straight enben should be overlooked or all enben should be perceived as gay! Enbyhet Georg, who lives in my inbox, may be an outlier but they should still be counted because their experiences are just as valuable as any other enban's.

(For those who might not know: enban is like a nonbinary equivalent to woman/man, similar to how enby could be considered a nonbinary equivalent to boy/girl. Enben is the plural of enban.)

Attracted to every gender, but all gender(s) you are attracted are dissimilar from yours, making you heterosexual by definition, because in the case no one is equally your genderness the exact way you feel it.

Multisexualities weren’t always monodissident, in the past bisexuality meant ambivalence of homosexual and heterosexual (ambisexual today), so it’s totally valid for pluralian ppl using ‘mono’sexualities since they were debinarized and resignified (unbinarized and recoined).

Strayt, differosexual, penultisexual, contraic, ultric and enanteic also represent “nbhet” identities.
