i think most people accept the idea of "you don't control who you're attracted to" in terms of being gay but imo it can go further. like if you're not attracted to men, but you happen to find a transmasc person attractive, i dont think thats inherently transphobic if you acknoweldge that your attraction is incongruent with their identity. you dont need to run yourself in circles creating qualifiers for your sexuality when we live in a world of infinite gender identites. it's not like you have an inbuilt radar that tells you whether that hot stranger at the bar is a woman or not. man who kissed a twink that turned out to be a butch lesbian that thought he was a butch lesbian. etc.

transhet people are absolutely lovely. straight trans women & straight trans men have a beautiful experience. straight aro and ace people are still queer and live queer lives. straight non binary, genderqueer, gnc, bigender, genderfluid, intersex, two spirit and other queer people are a blessing to our community. any straight queer person belongs, no matter what. cis people can be queer, so can straight people. queer hets belong all the same

Shout-out to all my heteros that are carbon copies of another hetero.
Shout-out to all my cats.
(edit) So, this ended up way more popular than I anticipated. So, here's a few more, and they're all equally bad, as you'd expect.
Shout-out to all my xenos that're native to their countries.
Shout-out to all my cis comrades that are a part of the opposition.
Shout-out to all the external Indigiqueers (this only makes sense if you know the etymology for indigenous that's my bad)
And of course,

It's been said before, it will be said again, but it's still worth saying: the fact that art centering on straight romance is allowed to just be bad, but art with queer romance in it always has to be indicative of A Serious Problem With the Way We Tell Queer Stories makes being a queer person making queer art deeply stressful

I don't see enough het-t4t representation on here. I'm a transgender woman dating a transgender man (neither of us are strictly binary but close enough that we joke about it)
I fucking love my boyfriend, even before he transitioned he was always just a dude. Stereotypical golden retriever gamer stoner. He is so proud of his facial hair but by stars it looks phenomenal on him, he doesn't even need to try and he looks so goddamn handsome. He makes me melt just with a look his eyes are so fucking pretty and everything and mmmm

It's always, like, mildly annoying when people see a het trans couple and go "all that work just to be straight?" like... one, you don't know if they're straight and two, trans people don't owe you a queer sexuality to "make up" for the fact we're trans. Transhet people aren't a subtype of trans people, they're members of the trans community, and the queer one if they so desire!

i love you straight trans people! you deserve to be proud of who you are, there's no shame in your orientation, who you're attracted to and who you prefer to spend your time with. you are wonderful, and your experience adds a lot to our community, and how diverse we are and what we face. just because you are straight doesn't mean that you are not going to potentially face transphobia and even homophobia or lesbophobia- just because you are het doesn't mean you will necessarily "blend into cishet society" seamlessly and never face oppression or challenges or struggles in life. you deserve to talk about your love for who you are as well as the challenges you face as straight trans people, especially when folks don't take you seriously
i love you so much! thank you for being who you are

"LOVE" how people who are anti contradictory labels insist on people with contradictory labels being SOO straight and cisgender! Like yes you're SO right! The fact I had to come out to my mom, several times and the fact if I had a girlfriend It'd still be seen as a sapphic relationship no matter how bigender I am. Like yeah no one in my real life thinks of me as queer at ALL! (Ahem they do) And everyone else who has contradictory labels? They're so straight, like no queer experiences at all guys!!!
