Now that's a nicely posed Terminator! I really like the wrist mounted bolter too. Also seems easy to modify to other chapters since he's not already full of detail.

(do Librarian's always need to be blue armored in the lore? The bone color from Deathwing would look way sicker with the blue glowy lines!)

Extremely dangerous how "grooming" in the context of child sexual abuse went from being a very specific pattern of isolation and trust-building with the aim of abusing someone to "telling children anything that contradicts their parents' ultra-conservative worldview is grooming" to "selling rainbow flags in a store is grooming" to "literally anyone I don't like is a groomer".

These days the word seems to most often be used by people who don't care about what it actually means and just want an easy "this person is irredeemably evil, kill them now" button.

Learn to draw Heinrix or die: the challenge ("Die" seems a much more likely outcome with the way it's going so far, tbh) This one was supposed to be a study of a Jeremy Irons shot, but for some mystical reason while Irons looks similar to Heinrix (in my eyes at least), whenever the picture started to look like Irons it stopped looking like Heinriix at all. So at this point there is not much similarities left to either of them, but, well, at least it started to resemble Heinrix at least a liiiiitle tiny bit

I've been really interested in Warhammer 40K recently after my friend forced me to pick an army, then he bought me some little figures for the army. I picked the genestealers cult, they're adorable little abominations that infect a planet to prep it for a bigger alien species to eat. I built my guys a week ago but I took this weekend to paint 3 units of guys. It was incredibly overwhelming and exhausting cause I'm not a painter.

These are my Aberrants, Acolytes, and Neophytes. I love them all very much but I took a special picture with my Aberrants cause they're the first ones I painted! Excited to try out this new hobby.

I remembered hearing about Honsou. How he is such a monster, the worst of the worst. The most evil man in all of Warhammer. All the artwork of him portrays him as an ugly gargoyle-looking dude.

And then you read his books and he is an antihero. Had he not been given Iron Warrior geneseed, or even still, had he not been raised by a broken legion, he could have so easily been a hero of the imperium.

Honsou never revels in evil. He is just a determined guy, not letting things like morality get in his way. Mostly because he was raised in a world where concepts of morality don't exist in the first place.

Even Uriel can see it. And he isnt alone, the other Iron Warriors can see the Imperial Fist in him from a distance:

And sure, we can go on and on, talking about how badly his official artwork misses the mark, but the thing that is rapidly making him into one of my favourite characters is his personality. He is so filled with hope, so driven.

Honestly, if you didn't know this was the “most evil character in 40k”, you could have thought I wrote this. It echoes so much what I have been saying about the hobby these last few weeks.

INEPTUS MECHANICUS

Synopsis

Within the frigid cities of the forge-world Ineptus Anser, Manufactorium workers toil to death to create medical equipment and mass-produce medicines. In the dark alleyways hide gangs of scavengers, ready to pounce on unsuspecting Tech-Priests and tear their bionics from their remaining flesh. Thousands freeze throughout the night, unable to secure shelter to protect them from the bitter cold.

But all of these are 'poor people problems' to Katrumarius. As the narcissistic and airheaded nepotism baby of the forge-world's Archmagos, she already has the title of Metasurgeon despite her young age, and her borderline-heretical experiments result in nothing more than just a slap on the wrist. Her war criminal Tech-Marine friend Lyrane, supposedly tasked with learning from the forge-world's tech-adepts, gets stuck going along with Katrumarius's genetor shenanigans.
