I think the saddest part about people not watching Discovery past season 2 is that you don't get to see the full evolution of Michael Burnham and see how amazing she is as a captain.

Plus, the braids. The Braids are an icon.

Got a new word count tracking site that I'm gonna use for my next writing challenge that I'm going to start November 1st! The site is TrackBear (https://trackbear.app/) and so far I'm into it.

You can create multiple projects:

You can create goals and set the goals to update with either all projects, specific projects you select to count towards your goal, or progress updates that are tagged using a specific tag that would count towards your project:

I haven't tested the other stuff yet because I just created this account and am only going to start putting it to work tomorrow, but it just came out of beta so I'm sure someone else has opinions. The leader board page has a button where it looks like you can invite people to your challenges.

A friend tossed this my way as a replacement for NaNoWriMo, and I'm here for it.

Today has been an exciting day!! Got my new iPad, and I’m so excited to use it properly tomorrow, but I’m already having a lot of fun, had to run some errands, and once home I took a little time admiring my cherry tree, before then setting up my new phone case, and spent some time setting up my old iPad to be dedicated to cosy hobby time. Having a bit of a late night, but I’m looking forward to tomorrow, and whatever I get up to.

My first time playing on Procreate with an iPad 2nd Gen Pencil. Can honestly say I’m a fan of the tech. Looks like I painted this, but it took a fraction of what it would have taken me with real paint. To achieve this, it would have been weeks with brushes, liquid acrylic, on canvas. This may actually help me get back into art again. I also own a really nice drawing tablet that hooks into my laptop. That one’s an XP-Pen. I’ll have to paint something like this using that tech to see how it compares.
