I don't think the results for the European elections have properly sunk in for me yet. Maybe it's the shock in seeing just how many people in my country (Germany) willingly vote for nazis to be seated at the European parliament. And are just voting for those bastards in general.

I am angry, terrified and exhausted.

And I want to rip apart any and all fuckers I personally know who I know did not go vote to prevent this. You are in part responsible for this. And you have no right to speak about politics with me anymore. "Well, I can not in good concience vote for any of these parties" - FUCKER, is it really so damn hard to vote for someone who is not a damn nazi at least?

something about thomas realising so late about newt— i love tragedy and heartbreak. this is also why he’s so desperate for there to be a cure for newt at the end. they’re running out of time and he wishes they had more and he wishes he understood what this feeling is from the start…and maybe it had always been there in the back of his head or it was the start (tfc)…maybe this is why their bond, connection and the way they anchor each other is so familiar to him like muscle memory…

i remember @wildbwills used to draw this au from newt’s pov where he was kept being tortured at wicked while still turning into a crank….. and omg this makes so much sense

not did only thomas lose newt to wicked AGAIN when he’s captured and has to live all those months in the scorch trying to find him while fighting with himself on the inside bc of these “confusing” feelings… the second he finds newt at the last city he also finds out he has been turning into a crank and it’s too far gone to even be saved…. still he can’t give up on newt — who now he has accepted he has feelings for — so he tries everything he can to find the cure

Aaaand now both my laptop and my old PC bit the dust. I want to cry.

I'll get my laptop repaired first bc it has all my recent data on it.... but man. The stress is wrecking my body and I just want it to stop. I just want one month of nothing happening to me and my belongings.

Random thought, but I think Catnap and Baba Chops would make a funny duo.

Baba never leaves the house and is super quiet, Catnap doesn’t speak and sleeps. Plus the whole counting sheep thing when you try to sleep? And they’re both black sheep (literally and metaphorically). Catnap was recalled and he isn’t like the other smiling critters, and Baba is a literal black sheep and just doesn’t match the Nightmare Critters. Idk, I just think they’re cool and kinda matchy.

I am actually of the firm opinion that WCKD had Minho blindfolded for most of his time because he became so delirious that he started hallucinating himself being rescued

Minho thought it was a trick WCKD was playing on him - to give him hallucinations of false hope

meanwhile, WCKD was fucking losing their minds, trying to figure out how to stop it

He started seeing Thomas and Newt out of the corner of his eye, and he'd break free from the guards and sprint after them every single time. The hope of being rescued, the hope of seeing Thomas and Newt alive, the hope of being reunited - it pumped his broken, malnutritioned body full of adrenaline. It was always a struggle to shove him back into his cell.

they eventually gave up and just blindfolded him. Minho started developing auditory hallucinations of Thomas and Newt (and sometimes Gally) calling his name, so they stuffed headphones on him too.

in Paradise, it's a struggle for Minho to go outside. Everything's too bright. Everything's too loud. Breaking out of the Last City was an adrenaline-pumped fiasco, but now that all the action was gone, Minho finds himself as empty and broken as he was when he was still rotting in his cell.

insane over the fact that Newt and Hermann drifted together and yet almost nothing changed about their dynamic because they already had an understanding with each other so bone deep that it couldn’t be massively shifted. they’re tangled up in each other from the letters to the kind of bond that can only be formed from the inherent isolation that came with them leagues ahead of everyone else around them their entire lives and then from being the only people who can save the world.

they have been built into each other and they were like that before the drift!! their deep trust came before their drift because it had to!!! they’re drift compatible and they always have been and they always will be. because that’s who they are. there is no Newt without Hermann and their is no Hermann without Newt. not after everything they’ve been through and how they know each other and trust each other and care about each other and
