I wonder what happened to Nicolai after Fyodor died. They spoke of having each other as enemies, but Fyodor ended up dead, and they never showed us what happened to Nicolai afterwords. I also really want to know if he gets a back story later on in the manga or anime, because he said the Fyodor was like his only friend, so he has to have something of a past. I wonder if he’ll go after Dazai now because of how much he and Fyodor had in common.

Presumably this is because he did not die in his 50s like Mendelssohn and Lessing, but superlative success by default is still success.
