Alfred and Matt are the children from Arthur's failed marriage with francene, and has been raising the kids by himself for a good 10 years, works two jobs and is rarely ever home, constantly stressed but he really really really loves his children and would do anything for them. The marriage fell apart because Arthur used to get into a lot of trouble back then and she dipped. Realising that he now has 2 kids to feed and take care of, he gets his shit together and actually becomes a halfway decent parent. Even as he is barely there for the two, but when he is he pours out his love to them. And they really love him back, even as he is usually at work.

His mother has disowned him for reasons I'll get into later and kinda has no support network at all, and all the stresses of work, and him forever worrying about his children starts to get to him.

 He starts falling into depression, becoming far more desolate which matt notices, and it gets so bad that matt ends up talking to the school nurse that Arthur doesn't seem well, because he knows that Arthur will never get help for himself. A talk happens, shit goes down hard, but the nurse doesn't question Arthur's parenting abilities, because he seems to be pretty good at it. But she does put out that it would be best for his children if he should be around them more, and Arthur begrudgingly agrees he should probably get a friend that can be considered one and not just a distant acquaintance.

Enter in Ludwig, the brother of Gilbert, a sweet, mildly autistic child who is the sweetest and nicest person that Alfred and Matt have ever met and they've been friends for a while, they find him a bit odd, but in childlike purity, they never treat him any different and just they’re homies. They then realise after a conversation that Ludwigs older brother Gilbert is also very lonely, so they introduce Arthur to Gilbert.

At first for playdates that Arthur actually likes, hes rarely there because his shifts are weird like that, but his children really love it, and they love Gil too, Ludwig is just happy that he has friends lmao which is kinda sad.

The kids are happy, but Arthur still isn't doing too good bc legit the only thing that's kept him anchored to this world are his children, and he feels like they're getting away from him but doesn't want to be overbearing. This culminates in one of the few times they go over to Arthur's house to play, as he is actually at home for once, and Gilbert and Arthur having a man to man talk, where Arthur nearly completely breaks down, nearly. But Gilbert still realises that maybe the man needs some help

He keeps getting stressed, and forgetting to eat and sleep, matt and Alfred are concerned as fuck and then he has a fucking stroke because his blood pressure spiralled out of control. Alfred and Matt realise after he’s getting them ready for school and stops being able to control the left side of his body, slurring and all. Schol assemblies have taught them that that is a sign of a stroke, and a very tearful call to the emergency services later and Arthur is in an ambulance headed for the hospital. Gilbert was called to look after the children, and he had to deal with two very tearful children, Ludwig tries to comfort but he’s not the best at it, but he's trying and that's what counts.

And then angst ensues, matt and Alfred are crying bc you know, the guy that's been single handedly raising you for 10 years could possibly die. Gilbert is currently looking after them and Gilbert is very concerned, he knew that Arthur was pushing himself far too hard and having a stroke at the ripe old age of 36 is not good.

Enter in Rhys (Wales) who was also disowned bc theyre both sons of a second marriage with the mother and she hates them. and any small thing and she disowned them. He finally got into contact with arthur after 10 years and found out that he had a fucking stroke, and he rushed to the hospital. There is a whole ass reunion he meets the children, who is waiting outside with Gilbert, who perhaps realised at probably not a very good time.

 And then things start to get better

And then the last bit is them all on a beach, now they're like 15 now, Arthur is stable and very in love with Gilbert and vice versa and that's it

It was Maid Day today yesterday a week ago so I got struck by inspiration to draw the worsties, and it ran away from me into a whole AU where they’re coworkers at a maid cafe. She’s a med student & this is just a part time job, and this is his depression job while he gets his life back together. He needs something he can be workaholic about to forget what it’s like having a personal life and personal issues. He’s actually the accountant, but the new hire janitor (Izutsumi) doesn’t show up for half her shifts and is a sloppy worker, so he gets the extra work of doing her job on top of his because he’s undervalued and overworked. Of course, janitors also have an uniform to keep the aesthetic cohesion as they go about cleaning the place, of course.

Senshi’s the part time cook you only see slivers off, he’s kind and warm when you do see him and have a chat but most shifts he’s in and out the kitchen without a trace. Laios and Falin are regulars because Falin and Marcille are besties & in the same med school, Laios accompanies Falin as she visits her friend at work and gets hooked on the food. Chilchuck has to remind Marcille to work instead of chatting with Falin for an hour, and next thing he knows she’s distracting him from work too. That’s it that’s the AU. Inspired by this idol AU fanart a bit <3

Dpxdc Au - Tim and Danny are Twins, have been through all the introductions and after a few years decide to have The Audacity. 

At some point it hits the two of them, that they really do act alike sometimes. Like, mannerisms and small detail micro expressions, the whole nine, so Danny and Tim decide to take advantage of this.

Parent trap style swapping but all within the same household, they cut their hair and swap clothes, and get in a few practice runs around the halls of Wayne Manor. No one in the family catches them through at least 3 family dinners, so they go for the larger gambit. 

Tim wants to go to high school for a bit and get back into skate boarding with low stakes- Thats what he tells Danny at least, he really wants to spend the time dismantling the GIW from the epicenter in Amity Park. It works out that Tim accomplishes this in record time (explosives didn’t require ethics in his opinion) and does actually get to enjoy his hobbies again for a bit. 

Danny wants to tell off the WE board members and get some proper Red Robin training so he’s not so dependent on his powers when facing human enemies (they were squishier than ghosts, restraint was key)- That’s what he tells Tim when the reality is he’s going to lead a hostile takeover of DalvCo. and well, yeah, actually get some training in. 

No one catches on except for Kon. 

After they’ve swapped back and their missions are debriefed, Tim asks him why he never fell for it? Simply put: “Uh, dude. Your twin doesn’t have a heartbeat half the time, it was pretty easy to tell.”

Imagine mister 'interparty romance is the devil' visiting court just to see these three circling each other like a pack of uniquely unhinged cats. And of course he sees it immediately, he's nothing if not perceptive and he's seen this happen so, so many times before. Kabru is hardly subtle in his fascination with Laios, who trusts him in turn more than nearly anybody else. He can see how close Mithrun and Kabru still are, even when there's little reason for the former captain to even stay in Melini. He can see where this is going. And he can see the disaster it's gonna end up in.

So he's just staring at them in horror, trying to figure out what in the world the dynamic here even is and glaring daggers at Kabru all the while for seemingly being the linchpin of this entire bullshit situation. King, his adviser and a fucking foreign noble?? Who thought THAT was a good idea! Is nobody else seeing this?? (no lol) Why is nobody objecting to this politically unsound love triangle that could literally ruin the kingdom they've only just established??

The anger! The distress! The despair when he first sees Laios getting all giddy when Mithrun so much as talks to him. Because hell, now he can't even blame the entire situation on one pretty boy insisting on having fingers in every possible pie, on political and personal level both!

And then they just. Quietly get together. All three of them. And Chil's just watching from the sidelines in complete bafflement because he's invented infinite worst case scenarios for how this will implode in all of their faces and destroy their friend group and topple the entire country and--

Instead they do. This. He'd be relieved if he wasn't so goddamn mad that he's spent months worrying about this shit just for them to resolve it in the least dramatic way possible.

Fuck this, he's taking a holiday.

Why does Ren have 4 ears? Are they all real or is one set fake?

Hehe I’ve gotten this question a lot actually! They’re all real— I like to think hybridization isn’t always a clean balance of traits, so Ren just unfortunately ended up with two sets of ears— his Dog ears being much more receptive to sound, naturally— and sometimes when the extra intake of sound is too overwhelming, I imagine he wears earplugs in his human ears to help adjust :> it’s a bit weird, but idk! i like to make designs funky and nonconventional! I liked the idea that Ren had hearing struggles due to wonky hybridization and just kept the concept :>
